New Beginnings | Vanya and Dr V

Vanya. She was it. The cause of the apocalypse Five had spent so many years enduring. He’d found the piece of paper at the commission and a week later had travelled back in time to 8 years before the apocalypse was due to start. He hadn’t had much of a plan but he’d quickly decided the best way for him to help his sister was to try and help his whole family. And so he became a therapist. 

3 years and a PhD later he sat in his office across from Vanya, offering a small smile as he motioned for her to sit. “Good Afternoon Vanya. It’s nice to finally meet you.” He said, keeping all emotional weight out of that sentence. Ageing 45 years since she’d last seen him helped with the cover but he needed to stay strong and be the stranger she thought he was. “You may call me Dr V. What brings you here today?”
