Fun Fact
BuzzFeed published a report claiming that Tumblr was utilized as a distribution channel for Russian agents to influence American voting habits during the 2016 presidential election in Feb 2018.
So my brother wanted to continue Great Ace Attorney today, since we never finished Case 2-2 or played any more. And I assume at some point afterwards we’ll get back to Justice for All
He’s now convinced that van Zieks is Edgeworth’s ancestor, and also that a theory I once told him like a month ago that he could be a von Karma ancestor probably isn’t true, or at least he doesn’t believe it
Which yeah honestly, fair
I overthink things a lot, and that probably is the most obvious answer. That’s a problem of mine, always overthinking and missing the obvious stuff. That’s how I miss things I shouldn’t and get into creative ruts
barok van zieks perilously close to terminally online brain with his ice cold "a japanese person killed my brother so now i hate all japanese people" take
Sorry to slam a team that has made many games I love and cherish, but maybe you stop putting the annoying loser prosecutor in your games when he's prosecuted more cases than all your main prosecutors besides van Zieks and technically Edgeworth if you count the Investigations cases
have you found any fun secrets in the van zieks manor? hidden passageways, unique objects, ghosts, or the like?
Oooooo, yes, of course I have.
Obviously, Klinty-boy lives here about half of the time. He spends the other half with Locks and the Lady of Flowers, trying to atone for his many, many misdeeds. I'd wish him luck if I thought he had any chance of succeeding.
Problem is, a man like him has his many secrets, and he certainly wasn't the first van Zieks to ever be abducted by the fey. I've found no less than four workshops hidden by illusions cast by various ancestors of theirs, for things like alchemy and potioneering and herblaw. I've actually converted one of 'em into a workshop for my own uses, just because it was there and hadn't been touched in a hundred years and it was in a pretty good spot.
It was... quite some task, distracting the servants so they didn't notice me consolidating all four workshops into one room. Pretty obvious the original owners never bothered telling their kids, so the next fey-mad in the line just made their own again. Well, now I've got access to it all, and it's a lot faster than having to fly all the way home to do something because Miss Soph is hoping I'll have a charm for whatever household task she's finding difficult.
But, you know, she feeds me, so I'm willing to try.
