Appearance: This might be irrelevant, so feel free to ignore this lol. I’m 5’6 with a curvy hourglass figure. I have black (dyed, naturally it’s dirty blonde) 3a curly hair that is styled into a shag/wolfcut. I have sanpaku eyes that are blue/green (I always look dead inside lmao) with decently long lashes. I have a wide longer nose which I’m incredibly insecure about and I have an oval shaped face. My style I would say is mainly 90s grunge and emo? I usually wear baggy jeans with an oversized hoodie or jacket, I tend to wear black a lot since I feel it’s the color that looks best on me. When it’s warmer out I wear an oversize t shirt normally with a pair of baggy shorts. But I also like wearing oversized grandpa sweaters as well lol. Even though I lean towards the grungy/emo androgynous style I do like wearing leggings or cutesy girly things at times too! I wear makeup as well when I have the time and energy for it, usually just a simple look with eyeliner and such.

Personality: This also may or may not be relevant, but I am a intp, 5w4, gemini sun, scorpio moon, scorpio rising. As my personality goes, I am a very quiet, aloof, and distance person, especially at first glance. Some people would say I can be very intimidating at first glance, but I’m actually just a shy ball of anxiety who is really scared of people and have very low self-esteem. It can take me a hot minute to open up to someone, but once I do feel comfortable with a person I become a silly lil goose who never shuts up. I love talking about anything and everything with those who I’m close to, I joke around a lot and enjoy having philosophical discussions. Once people get to know me, they describe me as eccentric and one of a kind. I’m a big jokester who always messes around with my friends and tease them (in a jokingly way), but I do really care about my friends and I’m pretty intensely loyal when it comes to them. Sometimes I can become quite nurturing when it comes to those who are close to me. People tend to feel very comfortable around me since I’m not really a judgy person and I’m open minded. I have a small circle of friends, but they are all very different kinds of people which I don’t mind at all. But even though I enjoy having friends, I do prefer to be alone at times since I’m a highly introverted person. But I’m always down to spend time with them, just not for a super long time lol.

 I’m a very curious person who loves learning new things and indulging in my interests, if someone mentions any of my interests to me I will geek to them for hours lmao. I’m also full of fun facts as well, I have soooo many random fun facts its almost ridiculous, but hey it’s always a great conversation starter! Even though I am an inquisitive person, I can be an airhead at times. I forget things all the time and I always procrastinate which is one of my biggest weaknesses. I tend to be very lazy and get distracted super easily as well. I’m usually always in my own head and daydreaming. But even though I do things at the last minute, I always get things done as quick as possible. When I’m not off in my own head I can be observant and quick when I want to be, but sometimes it can be hard. I’m very slow to anger as well, it can take a lot to piss me off. Not only do I think being angry is a waste of energy, but I also just don’t like confrontation. I avoid it at all times, which can cause some people to walk over me. It’s definitely not as bad as it used to be, but I do still avoid it as much as I can. When I do get mad though (or just upset in general), I get really quiet at first then I snap, but that’s really really rare.

I am an emotional person, but I’m really bad when it comes to talking about them and showing them, which can be quite frustrating. It can be hard for me to show my vulnerable side to others, but I do feel emotions very deeply. I am very sensitive, especially when it comes to my appearance and personality. I’m always afraid that people are constantly judging me or hate me, which is why I tend to avoid public spaces or being around people in general. I have bad depression and anxiety as well as borderline personality disorder, but I am currently taking medication that helps with that so I’m at least stable. I tend to just put on a mask at times, so I don’t have to show my vulnerable side, but once I trust a person (like a lot) it becomes easier.

Love languages/what I look for in relationships/what I’m like in relationships: My main love language is quality time and my second would be acts of service. I did say that I like to be alone at times, but I love being alone with the person who I have feelings for. It doesn’t have to always be going out on dates all the time or anything like that, I would just be happy having my person next to me at all times doing whatever. I don’t care if we’re just sitting in a comfortable silence or just sitting across the room doing our own thing, I just enjoy being in their presence. But with that being said, I do have the tendency to be clingy at times, but it’s to an extent. Now with acts of service I mentioned I can be quite nurturing to those I care about, it’s especially the same with my significant other. I can be very motherlike to my partner; always asking them if they drank water today, if they ate a proper meal, reminding them to wear a coat outside if it’s cold, etc. Sometimes I will even nag them at times. I enjoy making food for them, doing chores for them, and anything really. Even if it’s the smallest thing. When I’m in a relationship with someone I still treat them as if they are my best friend, I tend to keep my relationships pretty private and I despise pda. I will always be sassy and still joke or tease them no matter what. Behind close doors I’m a little more affectionate, I enjoy snuggling with my significate other and just being close in general. Though sometimes I like to have some space, I don’t want to be constantly showered with affection. Not gonna lie I’m kinda like a cat when it comes to affection lmao. My significate other is always my go-to when I need advice or just someone to talk/vent to in general, they are like my confidant. Above I said I didn’t like public spaces or being around many people in general, but I don’t mind them as much if I have my significant other with me as they make me feel safe and more confidant. What I look for in a relationship is someone who can make me feel safe, can be myself around, can still joke around with me, protect me, and listen and understand me.

This has taken far too long for me to get to, which I apologize for; I've been dealing with some unreal writer's block that I just can't seem to shake :( But, I'm working on it, and better late than never, yes? Also, it would have been done yesterday but I had a little mishap with Ctrl+Z and accidentally deleted the 1,000+ words I'd put into it... which instantly killed my writing mood. :( But, no such mishaps today (if so, I might have lost it ^.^")! Anyways, I hope it was worth the wait!

Kankuro from Naruto!

As I mentioned, it was a super hard decision to make; it was such a close call between him and Shikamaru! But, in the end, I decided to side with our one and only puppetmaster. Without further ado, let's delve into why!:

First of all, I believe that your aesthetic is one that Kankuro finds attractive! Appearance isn't make-or-break for him, by any means, but most often it is the factor about someone that catches his initial interest. I think he'll find that combo of dark hair and blue-green eyes rather striking! Then, it's obvious that he'll appreciate your fashion sense; he's very much about that grunge/emo look—and the color black, of course! That being said, he definitely doesn't care when you switch gears and wear more cutesy things, too! He thinks it's pretty neat, the fact that you can make such conflicting styles look equally stunning. :)

Appearance may be what draws Kankuro in, but personality it definitely what makes him stick around—and I think yours meshes really well with his own! Kankuro also is slow to open up to someone and grows a little more outgoing as he does so, in comparison to his distant and gruff appearance. He's still very much an introvert overall, though, like yourself; he has his people that he enjoys spending time with and is loyal to, but sometimes he has to step away from even them and recharge his social battery.

Kankuro may not seem like he's interested in anything other than puppets, but actually, he shares your boundless curiosity for anything and everything he can learn! He's 100% the type to ramble on about any random topic to someone who will listen, so the fact that it's an activity you not only indulge but enjoy is a big plus for him. It becomes a little game with you two—finding a topic for the day and accruing as many little facts about it as you can to rave about later! Kankuro very easily finds himself absorbed in things, but, unlike you, he's not a procrastinator—neither in important matters or personal whims. Don't think that's a negative, though! Kankuro doesn't get annoyed by it. He'll give you gentle reminders or pushes when he feels you need it, and you're one to remind him that it's important to go at an even pace. In that way, you balance each other!

Another quality that you and Kankuro share is your difficulty in expressing emotions. Kankuro also feels things deeply and powerfully but has a hard time expressing and sharing them; however, this often leads to frustration on his part, so it's easy for him to lash out. Plus, he's got a good reservoir of it to react almost too readily to confrontation. That being said, it's less of a problem than one would think; he respects your idea that it's not worth wasting energy on being angry, and that's something that he tries to incorporate into his own mindset. Plus, since he thinks similarly to you, he can understand your thought process very well and can therefore recognize when you're having a hard time with your own emotions. Also, like you, Kankuro is hesitant in being vulnerable; it takes him a good long while to trust someone to that degree. So, again, he relates to you and is all too familiar with how you think, so when you trust him enough to be vulnerable yourself, it's a big deal to him!

Now, there is one instance where Kankuro has no trouble expressing how he feels, and that's in encouraging you! Kankuro may not seem the type to be a hype man, but trust me—this guy is in your corner! He doesn't like you downing yourself or feeling judged; it pains him. You're so amazing to him, and he wants you to see all the wonderful things about you that he does! So, the instant he realizes that you're too in your head, a switch flips in him; he is gassing you up like nobody's business. He's a little awkward at it, not being the best with words and articulating his thoughts and feelings, but it's most definitely earnest and heartfelt!

Finally, I think your love languages align a lot, too! Kankuro's primary love language is 100% quality time. To him, there's nothing better to give someone. Everyone only has so much time in the world, after all, and choosing to share it with someone? That's big to him. Admittedly, he's less the nurturing type compared to you, but he still tries his best to do things for you when he can. It really shows when you've had a long day or a trying time. He'll go out of his way to do everything to make your life easier or so that you can just relax and worry about nothing. And, honestly, he appreciates your nurturing side. He's a busybody who can neglect his own health and well-being by being too caught up in what he's doing, so the fact that you care enough to remind him of the little things warms his heart. Also, Kankuro is totally not a PDA guy either. The most he'll do in public is hold your hand, if you allow that. But behind closed doors, he's much more tender and open in showing his affections. :)

So, the fact that one of your hobbies is collecting crystals caught my eye. I pinned it as something that Kankuro would dig, so here's some headcanons about it!:

Before meeting you, Kankuro didn't really get the whole crystals thing. Like, sure, they're nice to look at, but they certainly don't possess any magical properties or anything. He's a very scientific sorta fella, so don't expect him to change his opinion on that LOL

That being said, he respects that it is an interest of yours, enough to let you ramble about it one day. Again, he thinks the whole thing about spiritual properties is hogwash, but he does get pretty intrigued by how symbolic crystals are.

Cue him going down a research rabbit hole. He never realized just how many kinds of gems and crystals were out there! And on top of that, they have so many meanings; some ubiquitous, and some unique to different cultures! It's fascinating stuff to him, and soon enough, he's actually initiating conversations about crystals.

It's not long before he starts collecting them, too. And when Kankuro does something, he does it with 110% effort; he's not just going to specialty shops and buying them off the shelves. No, this man starts researching ways to go find them out in the wild, LOL If you're enough of a nature buff to accompany him on his little mining trips, he'll be the happiest little crystal enthusiast ever! But be warned. This guy will go full-on spelunking if he thinks he can find a badass crystal or gemstone.

In general, he's not a gift-giver, but he does gift you lots of crystals. :) Especially ones he finds. He even takes the time to look up what properties they might have and waits to give them to you until the relevant situation arises; he doesn't believe they have any real power, but if you do, he's crazy enough about you to put aside his own misgivings for your own happiness. ^u^

Finally, for the last part of your commission match-up, the drabble! I think a lot of your interests align with Kankuro's, one of those being mysteries and true crime. He's definitely got that morbid curiosity in wanting to know how murderers tick, and he loves those unsolved mysteries full of conspiracy theories and intrigue (though, when it comes to supernatural things, he's usually one who insists there's a scientific explanation LOL). Anyway, here's a little blurb based around that!:

"I'm tellin' ya, it's the eldest brother," Kankuro insists with a firm point at the television. The two of you had gotten engrossed in the latest popular true crime anthology. The recurring theme of its presented cases was crime within rich and powerful families; naturally, they swam with intrigue and drama, and in some cases (such as this one), it was difficult to predict just which family member orchestrated whatever criminal act had been committed.

"No way!" you refute with an equally emphatic jab of your finger at the flickering screen. "It's totally the youngest brother! He was going to get less in the inheritance than the eldest brother, so he planned to make himself the sole survivor of an armed robbery gone bad. It was just bad luck that the eldest brother lived."

"Ahhhhhhh, that's just what the eldest brother wants everyone to believe," Kankuro tutted with a professorial wag of his finger. "He's resentful of the youngest brother for outshining him all his life, and their parents for thinkin' he's a screw-up. He totally is, but, when do snotty little rich brats ever blame themselves for their problems? Anyway, he set this whole thing up to get rid of all his problems and pin the whole thing on his youngest brother, the so-called golden child."

"That is way too specific... and compelling," you say while squinting suspiciously at him. "You've watched something about this case before, haven't you?" you accuse with a horrified gasp.

Kankuro immediately throws his hands up in surrender.

"Have not!" he protests. Then, with a self-satisfied snicker, he dives a hand into the bowl of popcorn sitting between the two of you to grab a handful and throw it in his mouth. "I'm just thinking on a whooooooole different level, babe. Looking past all the surface stuff and instead figuring out what really makes these people tick. Pretty soon, they'll be callin' me to hunt these jokers down!" he boasted with a broad grin.

"Are you saying I'm dumb?" you pout, sinking into the couch cushions. You know that he doesn't, but, why miss an opportunity to have him pamper you? And, if you were honest, you would feel pretty dumb if Kankuro's theory turned out to be correct.

"What? No!" Kankuro cries immediately. He pauses the show, then lifts up the popcorn bowl to scooch up next to you and throw his arm around your shoulder, tugging you close. "I—jeez, me and my big mouth," he mumbles under his breath and runs a hand through his hair, stressed at the idea of upsetting you. "It makes you feel a little guilty, so you drop the sulky act. "You know I don't think you're dumb, right?"

You shrug. However, you do feel guilty about how panicked he looks, so you make it obvious that you're playing oblivious, exaggerating the roll of your head and letting the playful smile rise to your lip.

"I dunnooooooo, Kankuro," you drawl, and his eyebrow creeps up his forehead at the purposefully sing-song tone. "You sure made it seem like you think I'm just some surface-level thinker and can't see through a ruse..."

"Aw, come on." Kankuro is the one pouting now, his bottom lip jutting out as he props his chin on your shoulder and bats his eyes at you. "You didn't let me finish." However, the smirk forming on his lips informs you that he is on to your game now, and willing to play along.

"Oh?"

"Yeah," he hums. "If you'd let me keep talking, I woulda gone on to say that I'd tell them that I'll only work for them if I can bring along my gorgeous, totally smart-as-a-tack partner."

"Go on," you encourage with a giggle.

"She notices the things I tend to miss. Like the fact that the eldest brother went back into the house instead of calling the cops."

"I did think that was weird," you nodded in consideration. "But I chalked that up to him not thinking straight and being worried about his little brother when he heard him crying out for help."

"Or maybe he ran in there to try and get his hired thugs to finish the job..."

"But was interrupted by the neighbor, who heard the ruckus!" you gasp in realization and slammed your fist down into your palm. "So he had to think on the fly and act like he was running back in to save his brother so the neighbor didn't get suspicious! That's why the neighbor told the cops during his interview that he felt like the eldest brother was over-acting, and never "

"See?" Kankuro grinned. "You think most people would figure that out just based on a little hint like that? You're definitely not dumb, babe."

"Hehe, we'd make quite a team," you giggle and snuggle into him.

"Damn straight," Kankuro smirked back. He snatches up the remote and resumes the show, then drops it to wrap his arms around you, grinning like a little kid about to run into a candy store. "Now, let's find out which one of us was right!"

You really don't care that much, you find yourself thinking. All you care about is the fact that Kankuro is here, spending time with you, thinking the world of you...

But really, it's totally the youngest brother! You're the one who's gonna be right, mark your words!

If there were a means of easily identifying one's soulmate, think of how much time could be saved and put toward better use! That was the core principle behind Soulscape: the virtual reality videogame whose revolutionary programming identified soulmates based on DNA. But wait... why use this technology only for pairing soulmates? Why not use it as a universal rite of passage, too? And, if someone can't be productive in a game designed to maximize their potential, then... They won't be very productive in the real world, will they?

Flash Fic #3 “Fix: Law x Hawkins”

(Modern AU request by @shambledsurgeon for Law to “fix” Hawkins’ tarot deck)

Basil Hawkins should have known that no good could come from accepting a deck of tarot cards from his roommate, even as a birthday present. Dr. Trafalgar Law was not a man to be trusted, and he’d never shown any respect towards…well, anything, really, but especially his craft. So he merely nodded his thanks and put it aside, refusing to open them in front of his guests and giving Law the satisfaction of seeing his reaction to whatever the gift really was.

He managed to wait an entire week before finally succumbing to curiosity, sitting in the middle of the apartment living room to attempt a casual prediction regarding how the day would go.

Immediately, he knew there was something…off about this deck.

For starters, the top card proclaimed itself to be An Unhinged Ferris Wheel Rolling Towards the Sea, complete with rather detailed and stylistic artwork depicting just that. Shuffling through the cards, he found similar strange, utterly wrong replacements to the traditional tarot; Judge Judy, Flying Sex Snakes, The Homosexual Agenda, and Spectacular Abs.

The last of these displayed the unmistakable tattoos of his roommate above said abs, and he found himself admiring the definition and detail the artist had put in perhaps a little too long. As annoying and arrogant as he was, there was no denying that Law did, in fact, have some truly spectacular abs. And a roguish, sinful grin. And glittering gold eyes that reminded him of a flickering candle flame…

No! He was supposed to be annoyed at the sarcastic doctor, not musing over how physically attractive he was!

The next card was quite helpful with that, and Hawkins’ mouth turned downwards into an even more severe frown when he drew Repression, the man depicted in the artwork bearing an undeniable resemblance to himself. The one behind it, Being A Motherfucking Sorcerer, was also clearly him, surrounded by candles, reading a set of tarot cards while Faust lay across his lap.

Utterly confused, he tried to determine what the actual fuck his irritating roommate had given him, when he recalled a ridiculous and rather obscene game he’d been dragged into playing at Bonney’s birthday party two weeks before.

At that moment, Law walked into the living room, home after a long shift at the hospital. Upon seeing Hawkins’ flabbergasted and annoyed expression, he flashed his trademark smug smirk and leaned against the doorframe, visibly pleased with himself. “So. Finally decided to break in your present, Magician-ya?” he drawled.

“…how did you even find a Cards Against Humanity tarot deck?”

“Commissioned it off Etsy.”

“I see. And why do these two,” he held up Repression and Being A Motherfucking Sorcerer, “look like me?”

“I think that should be obvious. The first one stands for The Hermit and the other is The Magician.” He strolled over and pulled a little booklet out of the box, flipping it open to show that each card, as ridiculous as their new names and images were, all represented legitimate tarot cards.

Hawkins’ lips pursed, trying to figure out whether he should be furious at the disrespect done to his craft or impressed at the effort and planning Law’d put into this. This could not have been a simple endeavor, and to have it done in time for his birthday meant he had been planning it for a while. And the artwork was very good. He might have to ask for the artist’s shop and see what else was available.

Despite the book in front of him, he stared up at Law and asked bluntly, “What are Spectacular Abs supposed to represent?”

“Six of Swords.”

“…I suppose ‘emotional baggage’ and ‘unresolved issues’ is quite fitting for you,” he replied with a snort, the faintest hint of a grin tugging at the corner of his lips.

Gold eyes blinked owlishly, as if caught off-guard by the slight show of amusement. “Huh. Guess it is, though I’d picked it because of my six-pack abs of steel.”

“What card did The Homosexual Agenda replace?”

“The Lovers.”

Pinching his brow, he asked the question that really burned within him. “Trafalgar, why did you do this?”

“Because I have my own homosexual agenda.”

“Pardon?”

Rolling his eyes in exasperation, he replied, “I’m asking you out, dumbass. You wanna grab dinner?”

For a moment, Hawkins merely stared at him, jaw slack in disbelief, just the faintest hint of a blush coloring his cheeks, before at last uttering, “Why couldn’t you just ask me out like a normal person?”

As if it were the most obvious thing in the world, he replied, “Because I knew you’d consult your cards if I did, and I wasn’t going to let my dating life be decided by hocus-pocus or pieces of paper.” Law offered his hand to help Hawkins up from the couch, adding, “Whether it’s a yes or no, I respect your decision—I just want it to be your decision.”

That was…honestly rather sweet of him, in his own weird, asshole way. All that time, money, effort, and planning, just so he could ask him out while still being willing to accept rejection?

Putting down the cards, Hawkins grabbed the tattooed hand firmly. “Fine. But only if you promise to never mess with my cards again.”

A dangerously attractive grin flashed across his lips, and Hawkins was suddenly positive that he’d find Law’s face on whatever card had replaced The Devil. “Well damn, there goes my marriage proposal plan.”

So I’m 18 years old, short, sporty girl with black hair and Asian features. I have and love tattoos and obsessed with gym and sports. I never wear skirts and dresses, my style is a 24/7 sportswear.

I’m extremely introverted and I’m a very bad commutator, I never start the conversation first, it’s really hard to become my friend. People always assume that I’m mean or arrogant by the way I look (because of my 24/7 resting b*tch face😅) but my close ones know that I’m a very funny and kind person. My personality type is ISTP.

So my positive character traits are only for those ones who I trust and like. I’m a very adventurous and spontaneous person. I really love risky and dangerous situations. I’m literally not scared of anything, the only thing I’m scared of is uncertainty about the future .I’m very loyal, I’m ready to do anything for my close ones and I expect them to be as selfless for me it’s really important . I really enjoy traveling, one of my dreams is to live in 5 different countries. I already moved from my home country to Europe. I like learning about different countries and cultures, that’s why I really like history, I love reading about the old events, legends and myths. Really enjoy watching documentaries about criminals. I want to be a sport manager, but if I never liked sports I would’ve been a police officer or detective. I used to be a horse rider until I broke my leg, but I still adore horses and one day I’ll come back. I don’t like intrusive people, but someone who’s more communicative and easier than me. I’m a very confident person, but I always expect more from myself and other people. So now about my negative traits😅 I’m too straightforward, I don’t think that it’s a bad trait but sometimes the truth turns out too rude. I have anger issues, that’s why I was a trouble child in school and always was arguing and fighting with everyone😂 Now I’m more mature and calm but I’m still getting easily annoyed. Sometimes I hide my emotions and how I feel because I don’t want to look weak, it’s a very bad habit. Sport is number one thing in my life. I love football, I play and watch it, I love boxing and can spend hours in the gym. I run in the mornings and trying to have healthy lifestyle. For me, my men, it’s extremely important him to be as sporty and active as me, one of my dreams is to exercise and train with my partner. I want him to be attractive, tall and have a good body. I've been dealing with some gnarly writer's block off and on for the last few months, amidst the endless struggle of medical school, but I seem to be getting my groove back and was thus finally able to make some time (and brainpower LOL) to write this up for you. This one wasn't a hard one for me, LOL; it wasn't long into your vignette before I was just like "Oh, this is Kiba all the way!" I've got lots of reasons why I think he's the best fit for you, so without further ado, let's get to the analysis!:

First and foremost, you're the kind of girl that'll catch Kiba's attention! He loves sporty girls; their personalities and interests tend to match well with his, making for a good basis to build a relationship. Plus, he thinks sportswear is so sexy. He's happy to see you all dolled up, of course, but he thinks you're just as striking in sportswear and lowkey prefers it. What can I say? The man knows what he likes LOL!

Your introversion and R.B.F. might put off other suitors, but not Kiba. If anything, he respects a girl with a 'tude, so he's not afraid of approaching a girl who looks like she might rip him to pieces just for trying to start a conversation! He knows that a lot of times these brusque personas conceal a much kinder, softer person, so he doesn't take first impressions at face value. He's more than happy to take the time to get to know the real you—and, as I mentioned before, the two of you have tons in common!

Just like you, Kiba is adventurous and spontaneous; really, can you look at this guy and not instantly think "thrill-seeker"? He thinks your aspiration to live in so many different places and immerse yourself in different places is dope as hell. He's not stricken with wanderlust to your extent, but he's always keen to try or experience new things, so he's totally down for the ride. Admittedly, he's always found history and such pretty boring; but with you, it would be different. The zeal with which you seek and share various histories, myths, and legends is enough to spark his own interest, at least enough to happily let you gush about the things you learned with him and, as your relationship deepens, go out of his way to find things that you might find interesting. If it's something that puts a smile on your face, it could never be boring to Kiba! You're a little more up his alley with your interest in criminal justice, though. The man loves true crime; he could sit around watching television dramatizations and true crime shows for days. It just intrigues him, the way the perpetrators and investigators both think, and the shit they can do with science to solve seemingly unsolvable cases? Awesome!

Kiba is also fiercely loyal and selfless when it comes to those he cares about. It is also a quality he values highly in his significant other—just another reason that you two mesh so well. It's his loyalty that helps him deal with your apparent aloofness. One way in which Kiba differs from you is his readiness to express his feelings and affections; he's like a big puppy, desperate to be close as often as possible and always very open with how he feels. His primary love language is physical touch, so expect tons of cuddles and P.D.A. (to your comfort level, of course; he'd never overstep your boundaries!). Words of affirmation are his secondary love language, so it does admittedly baffle him at first when he finds that you aren't as open with your affections and, as you put it, even cold. The good thing is that Kiba is actually one to readily communicate with his partner, despite his outward gruffness, and he wouldn't sit on his unease for long before bringing it to your attention. Unfortunately, he's not the best when it comes to reading people, so he wouldn't be able to just pick up on the fact that you communicate more through your actions; he'd need you to tell him outright. Once you do, though, all is good! He's quick on the uptake and will soon be able to read the thought and care behind your actions with ease. :)

Kiba even shares some of your "negative" traits, such as being too straightforward. The man does not have a filter; he says what comes to his mind, and this can often come off as rude to other people. A lot of times, Kiba's trying to be rude because he doesn't take bullshit well XD Kiba also has his fair share of anger issues; he was a straight-up hellion of a kid, getting into fights and rebelling against authority. Like you, he's also chilled out as he's aged and matured, but not completely. You two would inevitably butt heads, passionate and hot-headed as the two of you can be. Don't sweat that, though! Kiba's always the first one to apologize. If he feels things are getting too heated, he's quick to step away before things spiral out of control; as soon as his head clears, he regrets fighting with you immediately and will slink back with his tail between his legs to beg your forgiveness, whether he was in the wrong or not. He always comes back with a gift of some sort—flowers, chocolates, something you like—but not to make his apology seem more genuine. He just wants to express his regret in every way possible and show you how much you mean to him!

Sportswear isn't the only reason that Kiba loves sporty girls, LOL. Kiba's a sporty guy, and he wants a gal that can keep up with him! He's into all manners of sports, but getting roughed up and dirty playing rugby or some other intense contact sport is his bread and butter. As one can imagine, he lives a very healthy lifestyle as well, one that includes many hours in the gym. You've definitely found a gym buddy in him! Whatever kind of exercise you like to partake in, whether that's running or weights or kickboxing, Kiba's down for it! He's just happy to spend time with you. :)

Finally, it goes without saying that Kiba loves animals, especially dogs. Literally, he won't date anyone who doesn't like dogs and animals in general; it's a huge part of his life, and he ain't givin' Akamaru up for nobody. You think your dog is a baby now? Wait until Kiba comes around. Your pooch is gonna end up rotten, just like Akamaru is!

I wanna circle back to the only point of real contention that would exist in your relationship: the fact that the two of you can get a little testy. Kiba's not exactly the most easygoing guy, but he is more communicative than appearance and personality would suggest, which is why I stand by matching him with you. I just wanted to delve deeper into that and illustrate through a scenario how good of a communicator Kiba is despite the occasional hiccup:

The two of you will spat. It's inevitable, given your personalities, and what couple is sunshine and rainbows 100% of the time? However, despite his combativeness, Kiba doesn't argue for the sake of arguing, especially not with his significant other. If he argues, it's because it's something he is very staunch about. However, Kiba will really dig in his heels and, after a point, refuse to see logic or reason.

As I previously mentioned, however, Kiba will never let a fight get too intense. He can recognize when things are heating up to a dangerous and unproductive degree, and when it hits that threshold, he just walks away. The last thing he wants is for him to say something that will seriously hurt you just because he's angry, or, heavens forbid, actually hurt you because he's just so riled up. So, regardless of if you're egging it on or not, he'll tell you that he's leaving to go clear his head, and then go do just that.

Kiba takes drives to come down from his anger, and he doesn't sit there stewing and trying to justify himself; he just mindlessly wanders, refusing to entertain any thoughts about your argument until he's of sound mind again—and then the regret hits him like a freight train. Of course it does. He doesn't enjoy arguing with you because he knows it hurts you, and he hates being the source of any pain for you. Justifying his stance in the fight is still the furthest thing for his mind, but now it's because he's desperate to make amends and show you that you're far more important to him then whatever silly debate the two of you were having.

It could be the middle of the day or the middle of the night; it doesn't matter. Kiba's gonna find something that he can buy that you like to show you that he cares. The man'll pick wildflowers off the roadside if he has to. He'll make sure to give you plenty of time to cool off yourself, and he'll always check to make sure that you're okay with him turning up at your door before doing so. If you're not ready, he'll wait until you are; pushing you doesn't exactly show that he cares, and he knows that despite how desperate he is to apologize. If there's a certain way that he knows to help you calm down without inciting your frustration again, he'll definitely do so.

Speaking of apologizing, as soon as you're face-to-face, that's what he's doing. You won't even be able to get a word out before apologies are tumbling from his mouth like a waterfall, and they're completely genuine. He doesn't want to manipulate you or make himself look good; he's genuinely sorry that he let things progress to that point and that he hurt you by arguing with you. Whether you forgive him or not, he just wants you to know that! He knows how important communication is to you, and he dropped the ball this time. He'll do better—and he honestly does! The further your relationship progresses, the more he learns about the way you think, and the better he gets at broaching topics that can cause tension. It takes him time, but he does his best to communicate in the way you need him to.

He's so earnest to make things right that he honestly forgets why you got in a spat in the first place. He won't even let the matter be brought up again until the both of you are completely good. Again, you're far more important to him than anything else could be!

Finally, here's the drabble that is included as part of the Tier III match-up! Given how sports are a big thing for both of you, I decided to do something related to that. Here's the two of you playing some good old-fashioned rough-and-tough backyard American football!:

"Are you sure that you want to do tackle instead of two-hand touch? I know your girl is tough, Kiba, but she's still the only girl here."

"Can it, Naruto," Kiba scoffs at the perturbed blond, and you're caught between feeling bad for the guy for simply trying to be considerate and feeling a surge of pride at your boyfriend's unwavering confidence in you. Kiba throws one arm around your shoulders while the other holds up his hand for him to flip Naruto off. "My girl will be tackling your pathetic asses to the ground, not the other way around. Bet."

"Okay, okay, jeez! You don't gotta be such an ass about it," Naruto grumbles, half-heartedly returning Kiba's vulgar gesture before stooping over to scoop the scuffed, well-worn football up from the grassy ground.

"I'm actually on Naruto's team, remember?" you giggle as Kiba presses a kiss and a self-satisfied sneer into your temple. "So I'll be tackling your pathetic ass to the ground."

"Ohoho?" he laughs as he pulls back to cock a brow at your blatant challenge. "You won't even be able to tackle my dust, babe." When Naruto calls for you to get in position, he gives you a gentle push—one hard enough to get you moving, but gentle enough not to be a forceful shove. You stick your tongue out at him over your shoulder as you walk to where Naruto squats in front of Lee, preparing to hike the ball. Shikamaru lounges on the left flank, looking like he would literally rather be anywhere else; he probably does, but Naruto never fails to entice him into participating in their weekly football match with the promise of free ramen. As you stroll toward the right side, you are keenly aware of Kiba watching your every move. You're wearing the purple-and-black spandex joggers, matching racerback tee, and black sports bra that never fails to leave his eyes glued to you—and you may have done so deliberately, knowing that you'd be playing on the opposite team as him today. He's so engrossed in you and the sexy sportswear that hugs your body that he doesn't register Naruto calling out the play until the last second, just in time for the blond to hike the ball to Lee and then take off at blinding speed for the endzone.

Meanwhile, you race to your agreed-upon position on the right side of the field, ready to receive the ball if Lee can't get a direct shot at Naruto. Sure enough, Choji comes barreling toward Lee with full intent of bringing him down where he stands, and the ravenet begins frantically searching for someone to lob the ball at before he's brought down by two hundred pounds of raw power.

"Lee! Over here!" you shout and wave your arms above your head.

Lee wastes no time in responding to you, throwing the ball in your direction in the split second before Choji tackles him to the ground. You lithely trot backward as you track the ball's arc, following it until it drops right into your waiting hands—no, Kiba's!

"Later, babes." Kiba steals a kiss on your cheek before darting toward the opposite side of the field, leaving you in a stunned stupor. You quickly recover from his sneaky interception, shaking your head vigorously to get it back in the game before charging after him with a yowl. There's no way that you can live down such an insult, and the desperation of avoiding his grandstanding pours energy into your body; you catch up to him five yards outside of the endzone and all but fling yourself at him with a desperate cry.

Kiba yelps in alarm when you slam into his back and wrap both your arms around his middle to drag him kicking and flailing to the ground. In his wrestle to escape your grip, the ball slips from his arms and tumbles to the ground. Howls of "Fummmmmmblllllleee!" fill the air, followed by hoots of laughter and wolf whistles. Hardly surprising, considering that you somehow ended up straddling Kiba in your chaotic grappling.

"Hey," you puff as you sit atop him, chest heaving with ragged breaths and one hand splayed across his own, which was doing the same. The other raked through your hair to pull it out of your flushed, sweat-sheened face.

"Hey," he huffs back with a blank expression. It quickly twists into a sneer, and he winds his arms loosely around your waist. "That was a hell of a tackle."

"I told you that I'd put your pathetic ass on the ground," you tease with a wheezy laugh, admittedly still a bit breathless from your feverish sprint.

Kiba just hums, his fingers tracing idle patterns on the skin revealed from where your tank top was bunched above your hip bone. After a second, though, he tips his head back and shouts down the field, "And you losers wanted to play two-hand touch!"

"Yeah, yeah, we get it," comes Shikamaru's unimpressed drawl. "Are you gonna get up, or did she take you outta commission with that tackle?"

"I ain't outta commission," Kiba gripes back, then looks up at you with gleaming eyes. "I'm just enjoyin' the view~"

You roll your eyes at his flirty remark, but a smile tugs at your lips despite yourself. Just like your heartstrings do when Kiba nods his chin at you in a clear request for a kiss—and, naturally, you indulge him. You hold your hair out of your face as you lean down over him to press your mouth to his own in a sweet but lingering kiss. Not lingering enough, you note with a giggle when you retreat to find Kiba pouting up at you, clearly displeased at only getting one smooch—and a short one, by his standards.

"If you want more, you'll have to catch me~" you chime as you climb off of him and to your feet. As you brush blades of grass from your clothes, Kiba rolls over and hops to his feet; you brush a few grass bits from his tee shirt with a pretty smile, then whirl on your heel to begin flouncing back to your teammates. You don't make it far before Kiba is rushing up behind you to envelop you in a hug, and you squeal as he lifts you off the ground and whirls you around.

"Caught you," he grins before peppering your face and hair with kisses. You giggle and shriek as you wiggle in his hold.

"That's not what I meant, and you know it!"

"Oh, well, too bad. That's how I took it," comes his rumbling reply, and it is followed by another attack of kisses. Unfortunately for the rest of the boys, the game of football is put on hold as Kiba devotes himself to showering you with affection. Oh, well... Kiba was going to lose to you anyway!

My personality is free-spirited, even-tempered, independent, and adventurous. It’s actually pretty hard for me to say “I love you,” and I even feel a little awkward hearing it tbh. My biggest flaw is probably that I can be a little self-centered - not in a diva-ish way, but prone to getting caught up in my own thoughts and goals sometimes. My hobbies/interests are reading (mostly horror, science fiction, and science history), gardening, swimming, knitting, traveling, and games of all kinds.

In a partner I’m attracted to confidence, creativity, and passion. My favorite dates are ones where we visit a new place (whether that’s a new restaurant or a whole new city) or learn a new skill together. There are a lot of amazing characters in One Piece that I could have matched you with, but the first one that came to mind was one of the best girls in the series: the lovely princess Vivi! It wasn't just because she also has blue hair, LMAO; I think she's a great fit for you. Let's delve into why:

Free-spirited, even-tempered, independent, adventurous: these are all qualities that Vivi shares with you. She is also very much someone who seeks new experiences and is willing to try anything at least once; however, danger is not something that Vivi shies away from! I could easily see her being one of those daredevil thrillseekers—skydiving, bungee jumping, deep sea/underwater cave diving, you name it! Naturally, she would want to enjoy these experiences with you, but she would be totally understanding if you aren't quite as keen to try. She'd never push you to do something that makes you uncomfortable. She's happy to undertake said venture by herself or with a more enthusiastic companion, then tell you all about the fun she had afterward! Of course, when it comes to anything that you are willing to try, Vivi wants to be a part of it. She's the type to want to memorialize the adventure; expect to get lots of pictures that Vivi will immediately pore over after all is said and done so that she can gush about how much fun you both had and what great memories you made!

Vivi is also a loyal and supportive partner, so it doesn't bother her in the slightest that you aren't "openly" romantic. Vivi has high emotional intelligence when it comes to those who she is close to, and, therefore, she doesn't need to rely on words or overt physical gestures to understand what they are feeling or trying to express; that would certainly be the case with you, too! You may not be easily able to say "I love you" in words, but there are certainly ways that you do say it, and Vivi will be able to perceive these with no problem. Vivi is a bit more open in this regard, but she is more than willing to operate at your comfort level. Again, she knows that there is more than one way to express affection than by just saying it; she will express her feelings in any way that you are receptive to!

Vivi is not quiet or withdrawn like you are, but her more outgoing nature certainly wouldn't get in the way of the two of you hitting it off. In fact, it aids it! I really feel that the greatest trait that you and Vivi would share is a love of travel, so here are some headcanons on that!:

Seriously, Vivi loves to travel. She'd jump at every opportunity to journey somewhere new, and she's the type of person to have a collection of things from her travels—postcards, magnets, novelty mugs. She loves all kinds of souvenirs!

If you are the type of person who also collects things from places you visit, not only will it send her over the moon, but she'll also be more than happy to indulge you! Whatever you collect, you can bet that Vivi will be buying something for you on a trip, whether you are on it together or not. In the same vein, if you do the same for her, it will make her the happiest person alive!

Some people have specific kinds of places that they like to travel to, but not Vivi. She'll happily go on any kind of trip, whether it's a relaxing beach trip, a rustic mountain retreat, a jaunt through a historic landmark, or an adventure like an extended hike or diving experience. The world is a vast place full of countless wonderful things, places, and peoples, and life is too short to experience them all—but by golly, Vivi is going to experience as many as she can!

As I mentioned earlier, Vivi is very much into photographs as mementos, so you'll be taking a lot of them together! Don't worry, though, they won't just sit in your phones' photo libraries; Vivi will put her creativity to work and make a scrapbook! To her, it's almost more fun than the trip itself. She loves to dive right into the newest scrapbook pages as soon as the trip is done, sometimes with so much zeal that she has them finished the day she returns home! Her favorite part is sharing them with you, of course, and reminiscing, whether it was a solo trip on her part or one you both went on together!

Obviously, life is never a dull moment with Vivi. This go-getting gal is sure to drag you along for countless adventures, whether it's a spontaneous lunch at a new restaurant or a hike into the thick of a rainforest—and she's going to be sure to immortalize every amazing moment that she shares with you. For all the amazing things that Vivi's seen and done, nothing compares to the way that you enrich her life!

Finally, I'd like to highlight the one un-adventurous aspect of Vivi... her disdain for horror movies, LOL! I just don't see her enjoying the genre at all because the poor thing is terribly prone to jump scares! Despite that, she'd love to support your interests and would watch them with you... well, what little bit she sees through her fingers! So, here's a drabble on the topic:

"Eeeeeeeek!"

You can't help but laugh at the piercing shriek that tears from Vivi's mouth when your television's speakers thunder with the crescendo of the suspenseful music and the very predictable jump-scare scene of the horror movie you and your girlfriend are watching flashes across the screen. Could you even call Vivi's terrified, fragmented peering through the gaps in her fingers watching, actually? The dubious nature of Vivi's movie experience just makes it all the more comical, prompting you to laugh again just as she flops over onto her side and curls into the fetal position with a mournful moan.

"How can you be so stoic while watching this?" she laments, her voice muffled from how tightly her hands are plastered to her face. "That ghost popping out of nowhere like that—I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest!"

"I saw it coming from a mile away," you explain with a little laugh. Really, there was a formula to these things. The protagonist goes creeping through a dark, dusty attic; it's practically horror movie law for something scary to happen, whether it's furniture being knocked to the floor with a tremendous crash or some spooky specter to suddenly appear from the darkness. You've watched enough horror films to recognize the tell-tale patterns of an impending jump scare or at least a subverting de-escalation of tension. Vivi, despite watching several of them with you now, had apparently not quite acquired said skill. Hence, she was terrified out of her wits each time.

You really ought to make more effort to reassure her that she doesn't need to watch them with you, but you can't bring yourself to because her exaggerated reactions are just so darn cute!

That, and the way that Vivi always comes crawling back for more because she simply can't stand to leave a story unfinished. Even as she lay beside you on the sofa with her knees tucked to her chest and her quivering hands pressed to her face, she parts her fingers to stare apprehensively at the television screen with a squeak of, "Did I miss anything important?!"

"She just dashed down the attic ladder so fast that she lost her footing, fell, and hit her head on the floor so hard that she was dazed for a bit. As she was in and out of consciousness, she saw the ghost peering out of the attic opening at her and smiling creepily," you explain, calm despite describing an absolutely nightmarish scenario.

Just the description of the event gives Vivi the good ol' heebie-jeebies; she is gripped with a full-body shudder, then hastily snaps her fingers back shut with a frightened squeak of "No, thank you!"

You laugh, then give her a reassuring rub of her back while returning your gaze to the television screen.

"I guess this means that you'll never visit a haunted graveyard or something with me, huh?" you tease. You've yet to find a challenge that Vivi will shy away from, but a haunted locale just might be the line drawn in the sand, you consider then.

To your surprise, however, Vivi shoots up into a sitting position to look at you with a resolute glower.

"It doesn't matter if it's haunted! If it's a place that you want to visit, then I want to visit it, too!" she asserts with a conviction that shocks you so deeply that you pause the movie and turn completely sideways to gape at her in utter incredulity. Vivi's bottom lip is quivering and her eyes are shaking with fear, but there is no mistaking the resolve in her expression. She totally meant it!

Still, you're so amazed by the notion that you can't help but ask, "Really?"

"Really!" Vivi insists with an emphatic nod. "I won't let something silly like fear get in the way of enjoying an experience with you! Even if it's scary then, it'll probably be really funny in hindsight, you know?"

It was one-hundred-percent Vivi logic, and you couldn't help but smile at her assertion. Before you could respond, however, Vivi continues:

"Kind of like this." She gestures vaguely at the television with a little chuckle. "I keep watching scary movies with you because it's always fun to laugh about how worked up I get later! The fright I get from the jump scares and stuff is temporary... but the joy of spending time with you, and the giddiness at how funny we both find my reactions are permanent." She smiles in a mixture of adoration and bashfulness. "A-anyway, what I'm trying to say is, what's the difference between watching a scary movie with you and going somewhere haunted, really? I'm happy to do this, so I'm happy to do that, too! Just say when!"

You are so struck by the sudden emotional outpouring that you can only stare at her in shocked silence for a second. Then, the utter insanity of her logic strikes you, and you burst into laughter.

"Vivi...! Ahahaha, y-you... you really are a-a... a masochist, you know that?!" you exclaim between frantic giggling. Vivi blushes brightly at your explosive laughter, but only smiles sheepishly and offers a small shrug in response.

The amusement quickly gives way to a rush of affection, prompting you to smile breathlessly at Vivi while you use the heels of your palms to wipe away the tears that had sprung to your eyes from laughing so hard. It takes a minute for you to regain the ability to speak, but when you do, you take her hands in yours and give them a squeeze.

"In all seriousness, thank you, Vivi. Not everybody would be willing to waltz into a haunted house, let alone those who don't even like scary stuff. You really are amazing... or out of your mind." You can't help but tack on the jibe at the end, but Vivi doesn't resent you for it; she just laughs and nods in agreement.

"I'm definitely out of my mind," she giggles. Her expression then softens and she looks at you in pure adulation that can only be love. "But I'll happily sacrifice a little bit of my sanity if it means that I can experience as many amazing things with you as I can."

"Vivi..." You breathe her name as warmth floods your entire being. You nibble on your bottom lip as a big grin tugs at the corner of your lips, but it does little to keep it from stretching from ear to ear. You give her hands another squeeze, then release a half-sigh, half-laugh as you let go and settle back against the couch. "Let's get you to where you can make it through a horror movie without dying of fright, and then we can talk about trips to haunted places, all right?"

"I don't know if we'll ever take a trip to a haunted place, then, because I don't think I can!" Vivi groans even as she flops against you and looks at the television screen with mounting anxiety. You laugh and press play on the remote, and it's only a few seconds before Vivi is clutching onto you for dear life and burying her face into your shoulder. It's admittedly a pretty frightening scene, but there's no way that you can feel fear right now, not when you're full to the brim with love for your amazing girlfriend.

That's okay, you think. I could spend the rest of my life never going anywhere else, and I'd be just fine as long as I'm with you... because you make every day an adventure no matter where we go or what we do.

You don't have to sleep if you don't want to. Choji is perfectly content to just have you curled up beside him, listening to music or drawing or just daydreaming away. It's less about the act of sleeping and more about spending some nice, relaxing time with you! Sometimes, he won't even sleep himself; he'll just lay there contentedly, watching you draw or do whatever you're doing.

He's the most cuddly when he's tired. If you're napping with him, expect him to be glued to your side! He loves to spoon, loves to hold you close, but he also loves it if you let him lay his head in your lap and snooze while you're watching T.V. or something. He loves feeling close to you, and you're so soft and warm. <3

Pillow forts? Pillow forts! Choji loves to make these, and he knows how to make big elaborate ones that are so cozy and inviting. Whether it's a romantic date night or a fun night with you and your kids, pillow forts are always his go-to! He'll even build one outside if you want to spend the evening stargazing.

Bottom-line is, Choji believes in rest. So don't be surprised when you start to overwork yourself that Choji literally drags you away to catch a light nap. He's not afraid to use his strength against you, pick you up, carry you wherever, and then hold you tight so you can't go anywhere! "We're definitely lost."

Your lips pull into a guilty frown while you look from your cellphone map to the street and back again. Your sense of direction is so abysmal that you have to rely on G.P.S. to get you anywhere unfamiliar, but it seemed that the app has failed you. It happens from time to time, but it feels even worse when you're actually trying to lead someone somewhere instead of just get there on your own.

"I'm sorry, Choji," you sigh and turn to him with a pitifully remorseful look. "I can't believe I got us lost! You've been raving about this restaurant all week, and I just can't find it!" Quite honestly, you expected him to be disappointed, and so you prepared yourself for a dejected frown. Heck, he even might get irritated with you. This wasn't the first time you'd gotten them lost looking for a new place to have a date, and he had every right to be fed up with the repeated mistakes.

"Hey, it's no big deal." Ever the king of patience, Choji just smiles and winds his arm around your shoulders to give you a reassuring squeeze. "It happens to everybody." When you just poke your bottom lip out even more, he encourages you with a laugh, "We don't have to go to that restaurant! I like surprises. Let's see what's around here instead."

Your self-loathing can't compete with Choji's sunny agreeableness. You hate when things didn't go according to plan, but something about Choji's easy-going approach to everything made hiccups like this far more tolerable. When he starts guiding you down the sidewalk to peruse the various shops and restaurants, you already have a little smile worming its way onto your mouth.

You meander halfway down the street, and Choji suddenly stops with an excited cry.

"Look at that! A BBQ joint!" he crows excitedly while gesturing at the sign. When he glances at you, his eyes were bright with glee. "Now I'm glad we got lost. This is even better than the place we were gonna go to originally."

"You're just saying that," you accuse, your pout returning with a vengeance.

"Nuh-uh," he insists while steering you toward the door. "Meat is the best! I'm so looking forward to this BBQ right now, I don't even remember why I was excited about the other place."

You laugh at his rebuke, and you find yourself believing it, too. He just looks so excited, like a kid who'd stumbled across a candy store; besides, Choji never lies to you. He always looked on the bright side of things, so if he was saying he liked that things had worked out this way, he meant it.

And you already know what he's going to say when he smiles brightly at you.

"It doesn't matter where we go, anyway. As long as I'm with you, I'm the happiest guy in the world!"

Okay, full disclosure, I'm a little biased because Ling was one of my first great manga/anime loves... However, your personal blurb just screamed Ling to me, so I'm going with him anyways! I just think you two would be total peas in a pod—the best or worst chaotic duo, depending on who you ask, muahaha! Here's a few reasons why I think you two would be really compatible:

I think being demiromantic and demisexual works in your favor when it comes to Ling! After all, he's a guy who forms very deep and powerful bonds himself, and his devotion to those he cares about not only influences a lot of his personality but serves as the core of his motivations. I think he'd totally vibe with the idea of needing a strong, meaningful relationship in place already before any feelings beyond friendship develop. He can play at being friends with everyone and seeming like he doesn't form serious attachments, but we know that he does, and those are the relationships he puts the most value in. That being said, he is entirely personable; it would be easy to become friends with him and go from there! He's a lot like you in his extroversion, after all. People are where the party's at, and you are certainly a party people that he'd invite into his life! :)

When it comes to Ling, I feel like physical appearance is something that may be an element of catching his initial interest and cause him to take notice of someone (such as a "hot senator," wink-wink, nudge-nudge) but isn't necessarily the key factor in his decision to pursue somebody. That being said, it's not something he totally ignores, either; the more he falls for you, the more things he falls in love with about you, and that includes appearance. He'll begin to just randomly think about how luscious your hair is, how gorgeous your eyes are, how you look lovely whether you're dressed comfy or to the nines... And if you ask him why he's got a dreamy look on his face while staring at you, he's certainly not shy in telling you exactly what's on his mind! But he'd be unable to pick a favorite part about you because he just adores all of you so much, inside and outside, physical and not. And he'll tell you that, too!

Now, you did mention that you're not really keen on words of affirmation as a love language. It's not Ling's primary love language, but he's not the type to withhold compliments or be shy about his feelings, as I mentioned before. Bear in mind that, to him, they aren't words of affirmation; it's just the truth! He never says things that he doesn't genuinely believe, so it might be hard for him to stifle those urges in the beginning of navigating a relationship with you. But he will try, simply because he doesn't want to upset you or come off as disingenuous. Don't hold it against him if things slip out here and there, though! And he will more than make up for it through his primary love language, which is acts of service. I mean, we've seen what lengths Ling will go to for those he cares about and/or feels responsible for. If you asked this man to pluck the moon out of the sky for you, he'd be searching for the nearest rocketship to commandeer. He'll always try to do things to make you smile, make your day better, make your life easier... Whatever you need at the time and whatever makes you happy! Finally, he's also a lot like you when it comes to physical affection. His desire for it grows as his feelings grow; if it's a serious relationship, he can be a real cuddle monster! He won't want to go two minutes without hugging or kissing or touching you or some way. He isn't even ashamed about admitting that he's a little needy, LOL. He just adores you oh so much! If you're willing to give, why should he be shy about asking? Of course, if you're not in the mood, he can easily pick up on that and won't overstep your boundaries. A lot of the reason that I think you guys work together, as I've alluded to a bit, is that your personalities are so similar! Sometimes, this can actually be a recipe for not being able to enter a relationship with a person, but I don't that'd be the case for you and Ling. I think you two would 100% fuel each other's madness. I mean, tell me that Ling would not also cut off his hair and leave it on the doorstep of someone who provoked him. That is peak petty Ling vibes right there. To further cite your personal blurb, Ling definitely has bard energy—charismatic, shrewd, humorous, free-spirited... A lot of qualities that you also have! I can only imagine the shenanigans that the two of you would get up to. You two will definitely come up with all the chaotic/hilarious bits, witticisms, and the like. The same can be said about your sense of justice and loyalty. Those are values that Ling holds in high regard himself and immensely respects in a person. His ass will be right there with you in the jail cell. And, hello, your love of food? It totally resonates with Ling! So the fact that you like food is your ticket straight to his heart, LMAO! He loves having a good time over a nice meal, and he gets to see you super happy while he's at it? Win-win, baby! And, let's be honest, Ling can be swayed by the dollar signs... so he will definitely respect your dreams of rolling in the dough, haha!

Ling is highly observant, so if you've caught his attention in a way that makes him want to court you, then he's going to make sure to make all the right moves to win your heart <3 So, I figured I'd expound a bit on the kind of things Ling does when he finds out the things that make you happy!:

Ling, 90% of the time, does not do planned dates. This dude just calls and sometimes even shows up out of the blue hoping that you are free so he can spirit you off on an adventure, LOL! He just can't help it; the instant that he wants to talk to your or see you, he just has to, right then and there! Not only that, this guy lives his life by the rule of spontaneity; it's no fun if you plan every second of your day!

Honestly, he'll probably pick up on the fact that you like food during your first meeting. A lot of your friendship will involve food, whether it's you guys going out to eat together or ordering in or just talking about your shared gourmet interests, LOL. But once he gets it in his head that he wants to date you? Man, he kicks it into high gear.

You mention a new restaurant you wanna try? Dress up, love, because he'll be picking you up at seven. Your favorite snacks? He has them on hand anytime the situation could call for it just because he wants to see your face light up. You mention you have nothing to do this weekend? Knock-knock, here's Ling with some take-out and some movies or videogames, ready to waste the night away with you.

At first, Ling's not a guy who cooks. He's got people to do that for him, LMAO. But this man would 100% learn to cook for you. The notion of you enjoying something that he made just for you... Ah! It makes his heart go doki-doki! Like, literally, he might shed a tear of joy the first time because it makes him that happy to know you liked his food.

And if you do the same for him? First it will blow his mind, then he'll get stupid excited because food, and then he'll get all choked up because you did this just for him! It could honestly be burnt or salty or straight up inedible, but this guy will lick the plate clean because you made it and that makes it a five-star meal in his book :)

Real talk, he knows you don't like dishonesty, so he'll be tactfully honest if it wasn't good. But if you try to get him not to eat it, you'll just end up chasing him around the house while he's shoveling food in his mouth. Sometimes his principles overrule his brain, and he would rather die than waste a single bit of a meal you made for him!

Needless to say, eating with you is his favorite activity. He gets to eat some yummy food, whether one or both of your made it or it's from a restaurant, and enjoy quality time with you. And it makes you just as happy! Seriously, what's not to enjoy?

And, last but not least, here is the little drabble that comes as part of the Tier III match-up! I am kind of passionate about Ling just being a spontaneous gremlin that somehow is just so sickeningly sweet and heart-throbbing, so, here, have some super cliché and chaotic fluff!:

You should have known better than to talk to Ling about romantic clichés.

It was a trap. Of course it was a trap! You've known the guy forever, and yet he still managed to trick you right into the conversation with that silver tongue of his. You'd only been dating a month, so him bringing up the topic of cliché romantic gestures should have been the biggest warning flag ever. When you managed to miss that, you should have been tipped off by the even more obvious probing about which gestures you found too cheesy and which ones kind of got your heart fluttering. But the bastard was too damn smooth and navigated that conversation leaving you none the wiser.

So, here you are, staring out of your bedroom window with an expression that is a mixture of embarrassment and endearment. Why? Because Ling was sitting in your yard, singing a very off-key rendition of your favorite song while playing an acoustic guitar more terribly than you thought a person could.

Well, as they say: hindsight is 20/20. Still, you don't know how you missed that.

"Ling!" You're laughing as you open your window and lean out to call to him. He had started off looking all seductive-like at you, but very soon he started really feeling himself and now had his head thrown back, yowling to the moon like some deranged cat. In fact, you can hear several cats in the distance responding to his call. He doesn't hear them, nor does he hear you, not with him singing at a pitch that borders on one only dogs can hear. So, after a small fit of giggles, you shout louder, "Ling!"

"Eh?" he cuts off to stare owlishly at you. He then plasters a big, cheesy grin on your face that is so full of enthusiasm and adoration that you can't help but let your heart melt a little.

"Oh, hey! Whatcha think?" Before you can answer, he cocks a brow and flashes you a suggestive smirk. "You're looking a little off-balance there. Did I sweep ya off your feet?"

"I'm off-balance, all right, but only because your singing is so bad that it's given me vertigo!" you rib. "What the hell were you thinking? I bet the neighbors are on the phone with animal control telling them that there's a band of raccoons tearing each other to pieces over here!"

As always, Ling takes your teasing in stride, just offering you a sheepish smile and a little shrug.

"Well, at least I can say I tried. I should have gone for something else, though. I know I can't sing for shit. But I've always wanted to try it, you know? Those guys in the movies make it seem so swoon-worthy." He wastes no time in discarding the guitar in the grass to retrieve later. "You should have started with that," you laugh as he approaches the window. Dextrous and limber, it's no trouble for him to clamber his way up and perch himself in it, straddling the sill and smiling warmly while he holds out the bag of delicious-smelling food to you.

"Come on. Admit it; you liked it," he goads, playfully yanking the to-go bag out of your reach just when you go to take it. When you pout at him, he wiggles his brows and presses, "Come on. You're telling me that you didn't swoon just the teeniest, tiniest bit?"

You debate lying to him just to do it, but you can't bring yourself to. Underneath his playful expression is genuine eagerness. So, after releasing a little sigh of relent, you admit, "Okay. I did swoon." When his face lights up with happiness, you hastily add, "Just the teeniest, tiniest bit, though."

"Whatever, I'll take it," he chirps and deposits the bag of food in your waiting hands.

You waste no time in tearing it open to get at the boxes of scrumptious goodies within. Like you've often done, you eat there at the window using some nearby furniture as a makeshift table, Ling perched in the window and you in a chair next to him. You melt as soon as you take the first bite, and immediately, Ling's face softens.

"What?" you ask around your mouthful of food.

"Mmm, I'm just glad that at least one of my romantic gestures made you happy," he answers nonchalantly. You roll your eyes, but that hot flush of happiness and nervousness is rushing through you despite your cool-as-a-cucumber outward appearance. And Ling has known you long enough to see right through it, prompting him to add, "Don't care how I do it, as long as I can make you smile."

"You're such a simp," you mumble despite the fact that a stupidly happy smile is growing on your face.

"Ah, but this simp is sitting in your window, so what does that make you?" he challenges. You respond with a playful shove to his shoulder, knowing that he'll catch himself as he slips to the side. He does with a squawk, then responds with an affronted huff and a light shove to your head. "Fine! Next time I try to dazzle you with a romantic cliché, I won't bring takeout!" He even starts acting like he's climbing back out the window to leave.

"Noooooo! I'm sorry! Please don't!" you whine, throwing your arms around his middle even though you know it's an act. You feign that it's just the food you care about, but in reality, it makes you giddy that he likes you enough to embarrass himself with corny displays if only to see you smile. And he knows that, which is why he settles himself back in the window and smiles at you.

In hindsight, maybe talking with Ling about romantic clichés wasn't so bad after all.

To Bolin, all women are queens, and you are no exception! Doesn't matter if you're dressed to the nines or just getting up, all bedhead and drooly-faced—to Bolin, you are a goddess, and he will worship the ground you walk on. Don't ask him to pick a favorite part about you because he'll pick everything! Your hair is so soft and silky and perfect for running his hands through; your eyes are so ethereal that he could get lost in them forever; your body is perfect for him to hug and squeeze and cuddle... Nope, Bolin is incapable of seeing a single flaw within you, and he'll tell as much to anyone who will listen (honestly, even those who don't)!

Any time an occasion calls for flowers, he is definitely getting you roses. Besides, roses are the quintessential flower of romance! It's a win-win for him! With a blush coloring your cheeks, you peer out of your peripheral vision to find him gazing at you in dreamy, love-drunk reverence. It certainly isn't the first time you've found him staring at you in such a way, but just like every time before, the sheer amount of affection in which he regards you renders you coy.

"What's this, all of a sudden?" you ask with a nervous fidget and, to channel your rising embarrassment, add a few more half-hearted scribbles to your work in progress.

"I just wanted to say it, is all," Bolin replies with a hum.

Happiness bubbles up inside of you, and your bashfulness can offer no contest; a giddy smile tugs at your lips, one that beckons a smile of Bolin's own. He snuggles a little closer to you on the bed, and you welcome him, molding your side against his and marveling at how the two of you seem to fit together like puzzle pieces. Destined.

"But really," Bolin continues, leaning in close until his nose is nudging into your swathes of dirty-blonde hair, "you are gorgeous. So gorgeous that it blows my mind."

"You pamper me too much, you know," you accuse playfully.

"What?" Bolin gasps and gives you a scandalized look. "There's no such thing." He looks genuinely affronted by the idea, so much so that it makes you snort in laughter.

"I mean it," he pouts. "I'm not pampering you. I'm just telling it like it is. You're gorgeous!"

"I don't know how I can be so gorgeous just laying here and drawing," you giggle, unable to resist a sassy quip. However, you are quick to look back up at him with a softening smile. "But thank you, Bolin."

"Don't thank me. I'm just telling the truth," Bolin laughs. His arm lands across your back, and his hand cups your hip; he tugs you closer still, until your warmth is blending together in the nonexistent space between your bodies. It's familiar, and nice, and comfortable, so much so that it summons forth a sleepy contentment that has you sinking into your mattress. Your pencil now swirls in idle circles in the corner of your half-finished, now-abandoned sketch, much too content to just bask in Bolin's affection than focus on what you were doing. Bolin doesn't help matters, peppering the side and top of your head with little kisses.

"I'm so lucky," you say suddenly, and it's Bolin's turn to blink at you in surprise. With a contented sigh, you lean further into him and then explain, "To have somebody like you."

"Hey, that's my line," Bolin chuckles. "I'm the lucky one."

You open your mouth to argue, but quickly think better of it. With Bolin, this argument could continue for hours. So, instead, you smile and lean up to kiss the tip of his nose.

"Let's just say we're both lucky to have each other, all right?"

"Heh," Bolin snickers, his cheeks growing rosy and his smile shy, "I can live with that, I guess."

As you finally return your attention back to your drawing, Bolin hugs you tight and props his chin on your shoulder to watch your ministrations with bright-eyed, bushy-tailed eagerness.

Apologies for the delay in working on these! I have entered a very busy rotation, so these days pretty much all I do is work and sleep. XD But, I've adjusted and found a little bit of spare time, so I thought I would try to squeak out your penultimate match-up! So devastating that we didn't get to see her in action in The Legend of Korra, but I digress. Here's why I think Suki is a good match for you!:

Physical appearance is lower on the list of important factors for Suki to be attracted to someone, but I still think that she would find you quite cute! She thinks you look damn good on her arm (and she looks good on yours!), and she'll definitely gush about how beautiful you are to her friends and family. I think of all your features, she would probably love your hair; she's definitely the type to idly twirl a lock of it around her finger or run her hand through it while cuddling and/or talking with you. I think she would also find your eyes very pretty as well; after all, they're such a pretty color! And you're dimples—she loves them to death and can't help kissing them all the time. :)

Suki's more of a listener than a talker, but don't worry about your tendency to ramble; she thinks it's adorable and will gladly listen to you happily rant about whatever you're passionate about at the moment! When you tell her that you're an artist, Suki is admittedly a little curious about your level of skill. After all, most of her experience with visual art is with Sokka, whose skills leave much to be desired. But she's eager to see just what you can do, so she will definitely ask to see some of your work!

Suki is positively delighted by your artwork, and praise will tumble from her mouth like a waterfall! She's captivated while flipping through your sketchbooks. She'll insist on seeing the older ones, too, so she can appreciate just how much your talent has grown over time! It's honestly encouraging, the way Suki talks about your art and how you've grown as an artist.

She'll definitely insist on watching you draw. She thinks it's amazing, the whole process and how you do it! It's utterly mesmerizing to her.

The first time you give her a drawing that you did just for her, she will definitely get a little misty-eyed and choked up. You can bet that she's going to frame it and put it in a special place, and she will most certainly consider it the best gift you've ever given her. All the gifts you get her she loves, of course; but to her, there's no better gift in the world than something made by your own hands, simply out of your affection for her!

Since you trust her enough to share your drawings, Suki will reciprocate by sharing her poetry. She's very shy about it, of course. You snort in laughter as Suki writhes around in agony and screams desperately at your television, on which Titanic plays in all its depressing glory. Suki has been clutching a throw pillow for the last fifteen minutes, and as she watches the suspenseful and sorrowful scene play out, her intense feelings get the best of her; with a shrill shriek, she lobs the pillow at the ground between the sofa and the coffee table. You had originally wondered why Suki, being a self-proclaimed movie buff, hadn't seen a classic film like Titanic, but now you know why. The woman couldn't handle such intense emotions!

Suki suddenly gasps when Rose ultimately does fling herself out of the lifeboat and back onto the doomed ship. Suki snatches up the discarded pillow and hugs it to her chest while watching the screen with huge, captivated eyes. You laugh openly this time and, without removing her eyes from the screen, Suki pouts, "How are you so calm right now? Their love is on the line!"

"Well, I have the benefit of having seen this movie multiple times now," you point out with another giggle. "I was definitely like you the first time I watched it... minus all the screaming and flailing. I did all that on the inside."

Your ribbing earns you an even deeper pout, and now that the scene is a little less stressful, Suki directs it at you and not the screen. As soon as the drama ramps up again, however, she's snapping her head back around with a riveted gasp.

You just chuckle to yourself, adjust the throw blanket wrapped loosely around you, and snuggle into Suki's side. You honestly don't expect her to speak anymore, given how absorbed she is in the film, so you jump a little when she suddenly asks, "Hey."

"Hey what?"

"If we were in that situation... would you go on the lifeboat, or would you jump?" She looks at you again, and the blush coloring her cheeks is evident even with the blue light pouring from the television screen. It's the same shade as the flush spreading across your own face.

Bashfully, you rub at the corner of the blanket while debating how to answer. This was a movie, after all, and your love affair with Suki certainly wasn't as short or dramatic as the main characters'; but you'd been dating for quite a long time now, long enough to have toyed with the idea of marriage, long enough to consider that yes, you would much rather go down with that ship than live life without her.

"... Yeah, I would jump," you answer meekly, but honestly.

"You would?" Suki asks, the shyness of her smile making it a little crooked. When you nod, she hums happily; then, she wraps her arms around her you and pulls you close. "I would, too. For you, I mean."

The admission isn't surprising, but it makes you giddy, regardless. A bright smile illuminates your face as you snuggle into her a little further. You feel like you should say something more, add something to affirm the depth of your feelings for her—

but before you can, she releases a scandalized scream and points angrily at the television as Rose's disgraced ex-fiancé snatches a gun from his bodyguard and starts shooting at the fictional lovers.

"That rat bastard! Run, Jack and Rose! Run!" Suki screeches, kicking her feet wildly and making the blanket flap over the two of you. You just laugh at her antics, not disgruntled in the slightest that you didn't get the opportunity to say more.

When you think about it, you realize that you really don't need to. Love is in more than words—it's in actions, too. And so you don't say anything; you just wrap your arms tighter around her and press a kiss to Suki's cheek.

And Suki she hears you loud and clear, if the big smile that stretches across her face is anything to go by.

Unlike some of the previous young men from your match-ups, I could see our Monk-san including physical appearance in determining if he is attracted to someone. Personally, I think that he'll find you quite adorable, being quite a bit smaller-statured than him but quite feisty despite that, and that is part of what will draw him to you. Once your relationship gets going, he'll definitely brag to everyone about how cute or gorgeous you are, depending on the situation. He's just always blown away by you, whether you're lounging around the house in your pajamas or dressed to the nines; at least five times a day, he'll look at you and just think Holy crap, how did I end up with someone so breathtaking? If you asked him, he wouldn't be able to pick a favorite thing about you because, well, you're perfect from head to toe! What can I say? Houshou's a big ol' simp LOL!

Personality-wise, I think you two will also mesh well! Houshou seems like a carefree, almost flighty kind of fellow at first glance, but we know that he cares deeply for those he deems special in his life. "This is, like, the third or fourth bad life event in a row."

"Maybe it's your karma," you joke while leaning forward to spin the little numbered wheel in the center of the board.

"My karma?" Houshou huffs indignantly. "I haven't done anything bad in the game! Everybody else is doing bad stuff to me! What about their karma?"

You just chuckle at his childish complaints and watch the spinner slowly come to a halt. You squeal in delight when it lands on the number ten, then pick up your tiny car-shaped player piece and move it down the series of game squares. You also land on an event tile, so you take the top card from the face-down deck and bring it up to your face to read.

"'What's this? It's the sound of wedding bells! You've gotten married!'" you read aloud. You set the card in the discard pile, then take one of the teeny-tiny people from the box of game board accessories and plug it into the appropriate slot in the passenger seat of the car. You clap your hands giddily, then look at Houshou. "Your turn!"

Houshou doesn't spin the wheel, nor does he acknowledge that he's heard you. He's too busy staring thoughtfully at your car piece.

"Houshou?" you press. This time, his eyes flicker up to meet yours, and they sparkle as a little smirk spread across his lips.

"Can that be us someday?"

His question admittedly throws you for a loop. You've been dating a good while, but not long enough to have conversations like that yet; his unprompted inquiry sends heat spilling across your cheeks and makes your heart begin to pound in your chest.

"I-I suppose..." you answer evasively and avert your gaze to the game board, unable to look at him.

"You suppose?" he chuckles. With a purr, he scoots closer to you, loosely snuggling you as he picks up the game piece and inspects it. "You 'n me in a big ol' SUV filled to the brim with mini-me's and mini-you's? I certainly like the sound of that."

"H-Houshou!" you squeak and slap your hands to your cheeks as your temperature spikes several more degrees. Of course, it wasn't that you didn't like the idea of it; it was quite the opposite, actually. It makes you so stupidly happy that it has a big, cheesy grin spreading across your face, one that Houshou doesn't fail to notice.

"Well, I may suck at the fake game of life, but I'm certainly not sucking at the real one," he chuckles as he sets the game piece back down on the square. He then runs a hand over your hair while dropping a kiss on the top of your head. "Although, I am convinced that you're cheating. At the fake one, that is."

"You can't cheat at The Game of LIFE!" you laugh. Just like that, he yanks you out of your embarrassment; he has a funny way of doing that. Giggling, you shove him away from you and fix your game piece on the board. "Now come on! It's your turn! I don't have all night to kick your ass at this game."

"So cruel," Houshou sniffles in mock hurt, but obediently leans forward to obey.

In the grand scheme of things, it probably doesn't matter if you win at this game, you think to yourself with a soft smile. You've already one at the game of life that matters.

You could leave your kids with Daichi for a day, and when you come back, he’ll be so attached to them already that it’s enough to make you feel guilty about taking them away! Oh, and he’ll adore your doggo, too! Daichi makes a sight walking around a little bichon frisé on a leash, haha. He will absolutely spoil that dog rotten!

You mentioned that you like swimming; Daichi’s an athletic guy, obviously, so I could see him enjoying that, too! So here’s some headcanons about you two sharing a love of the water: 

Like I said, Daichi’s an athletic guy. Volleyball is his favorite, obviously, but I bet you could get him to play almost any sport. So, I can easily see him as somebody who likes to get in the water and swim!

Seeing as you don’t particularly care for sand, a public pool would probably serve you better. It’s Daichi’s preference, anyway; he can do laps for exercise or have some fun flipping off the diving board. Bonus if it’s an indoor pool where the sun won’t be an issue! You can bet that if there’s a public pool close by, you’ll be there several times a month. 

Daichi’s a planner, so you can bet he’s got it all figured out: towels, snacks, plenty of hydrating drinks, and, whether the kiddos are involved or not, pool toys and floats! He’ll even insist on getting one of those little doggy life jackets so the pooch can be in on the fun, if possible. And he’ll take care of it all! You don’t have to lift a finger.

Daichi definitely isn’t the type to relax in the pool. Either he’s gonna be doing his own thing like swimming laps while you lounge on a float or on a pool chair, or he’s gonna be playing up a storm! Seriously, get a pool noodle in this man’s hands, and suddenly he’s like some kind of water Jedi Knight, whacking at everything that gives him the opportunity. Unfortunately, that may mean you! I hope you’re ready to fight back! And pool games, he loves pool games: Marco Polo, chicken, racing, and, of course, pool volleyball! You can easily spend hours at the pool with him; he’s got energy to burn and all kinds of ways to occupy the time!

Of course, if your kids are there, then all of Daichi’s attention is gonna be on them. He’ll make sure they’re safe, constantly keeping an eye on them and staying close enough to act if anything happens. Daichi’s for real got the Dad Reflex, haha; he could be in the middle of a conversation on the clear opposite side of the pool, but if your son is toddling around the side of the pool and slips in, Daichi’s moving like lightning before you can even think to react! And, of course, Daichi loves playing with the kids in the water! As I mentioned before, he’s got tons of games and pool toys at his disposal. Of course, the kids’ favorite will be Daichi grabbing them and launching them across the pool, as all little kids love to be flung like ragdolls. Daichi loves it just as much as they do, LOL. 

Of course, even he gets exhausted, at which point he’ll join you on a pool float or chair to snuggle. Don’t be surprised if he drifts off to sleep, though. Man plays hard!

And, since this is a Tier III match-up, it includes a little drabble. You mentioned that you like stargazing, so I decided to write a little blurb about you two on a stargazing date:

“How many do you think are up there?” 

You pull your gaze away from the starry night sky above to turn your head and look up at Daichi. The two of you are currently sprawled across a plush blanket in the grass of your backyard, relaxing after enjoying a nice outdoor picnic date; you’re snuggled close to each other with your head resting in the crook of Daichi’s shoulder. You had just been lounging in comfortable silence until Daichi had asked the question out of the blue, hence your slight bewilderment. His eyes are still on the inky black heavens, but when he feels your gaze on him, he shift to look at you and smile. 

“Hmm,” you answer with a small shrug, turning your eyes back to the star-studded sky. You love to stargaze and do it often, but there are far too many to count, even if you ever wanted to—not to mention so many that you couldn’t even see. You could be honest, but you feel like being a little cheeky. So, with a sly grin, you say, “If I had to guess, I would say... eleven.” 

“Eleven?” Daichi snorts in laughter. “I think there might be a bit more than eleven.” 

“If you’re gonna tell me that I’m wrong, then why ask?” you counter playfully, and when you turn your head to him again, your expression is a taunting sneer. It makes Daichi’s own expression morph into one of roguish glee, and you know he's about to do something to try and one-up your little jibe. Before you could try and guess what that might be, Daichi flips onto his side, grabs you around the middle, and rolls back over, easily dragging you on top of him.

“Hey!” you laugh. Giddiness wells up inside of you, making you smile so big that the dimples appear in your cheeks. With a contented hum, Daichi leans up to give each of them a little peck. “Oh, you don’t have a smart comeback, so you try to woo me instead?” you joke, but your voice is a soft sigh, all the playful edge gone. His wooing is working, all right. 

“I just asked because I wanted to see what you’d say,” he chortles. Then, his eyes grow hooded, making heat rise to your cheeks. “There could be only eleven stars in the sky, or there could be eleven million, for all I know. I wouldn’t really care either way,” Daichi responds, his voice low and rumbling. 

“Why’s that?” 

“Because I’m down here, and more importantly, down here with someone more beautiful than any star,” he answers, then lifts his head again to nuzzle into your neck. 

You gasp at that, equal parts embarrassed and charmed. Daichi always had romantic things like that to say, but even after hearing so many, his compliments still take your breath away. His glittering eyes peer up at you, and when you smile, he smiles back. 

If you're a star, then so is Daichi. But not just any star—no, he’s a sun, because he’s established himself as the center of your universe. Someone could hand you a ticket to the moon right this instant, and you’d say no, because there’s no place you’d rather be than down here on Earth, in Daichi’s arms.

Vannah, my wonderful friend! I've got all my oh-so exciting info for that match-up commission!

They/he pronouns, I'm a nonbinary trans masc. gremlin. I'm a very short boy, a whopping 5'3, and am definitely on the curvier, fluffier side when it comes to body types. (I like snacks. I regret nothing.) I've got real short brown hair that likes to stick up like crazy and golden brown eyes, which I'm told can look hazel in certain lighting. I put comfort over fashion with clothes because nothing is better in life than an oversized hoodie and sweatpants. Cozy heaven right there.

Being neurodivergent tends to make people think I'm odd or strange. I like it though. I like being different! It can be a little lonely though. Since social skills aren't my strong suit, I usually try to put people at ease with humor! (I follow the Mirio Togata theory that laughter makes everything better.) I also like complimenting people and letting them know they're doing a good job. Everybody needs to be appreciated sometimes. Overall, I'm told I'm too nice for my own good, but my family knows that only goes so far before my temper slips and I get sneaky. I'm not above using people's assumption that I'm naive against them. For interests, I'm a nerd that loves learning. In true hyper introvert fashion, I bury myself into books on everything from revolutionary history to human zoology. I spend way too much time on Duolingo learning as many languages (Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese...) as I can and grew up reading books on medical terminology and emergency first aid. You already know this, but creative stuff is essentially my life though. I constantly have stories floating in my head and like to draw, paint, sing, play piano and voice act. I'm hoping to pick up guitar or harmonica next. I always have music playing on my phone. 24/7 at home.

The things I value most in people are kindness, a good sense of humor, and a mostly laid-back attitude to offset my anxious little ass. You're only dimly aware of the spacious library around you, too busy digesting each and every factoid presented in the astronomy textbook that you've had your nose buried into for the past hour. When you turn the page, you hunch forward a little more, your nose nearly brushing the crisp-smelling pages—and you hear a snort of laughter that yanks you out of your intellectual rapture like a yo-yo being jerked back into someone's hand.

You glance up to see Shanks sitting in the seat across from you. He's got his crossed arms propped up on the table and his chin resting atop them, and he's watching you read with an expression so full of dreamy, starry-eyed adoration that you reflexively blush. You don't know how long he's been sitting there, either, which makes you flush even more. Last you recall, he'd wandered off into the stacks to find something that might occupy his own attention. Of course, that was right before you'd buried your nose in this textbook. There was no telling how much time had passed.

"You didn't find anything to read?" you ask, taking note of the absence of a book in front of him.

"Nope," he quips, and his serene smile widens. "I'm much more entertained watching you."

A shy smile blossoms on your face before you can stop it, and you shyly wiggle in the chair.

"'M not that interesting," you mumble bashfully. You slide down in your chair a little at the crook of Shank's brow.

"I beg to differ," he retorts. "You don't get to see the expressions you make when you read something. But I do, and I like them."

"Shanks..." you start, but you don't know what to say. Not that you could say much with the big, cheesy grin on your face—and you certainly don't know how to stop smiling. The fact that Shanks found your rapturous pursuit of knowledge so captivating made you downright giddy.

Still...

"I hate for you to just sit here and watch me read," you pout. You know that he is more than content to do so—it was he who brought you to the library for your date, after all—but it was still a date, and you didn't want him to sit there without being acknowledged at all. It just didn't seem that fair.

Shanks knew that it would bother you even if he argued otherwise, so he didn't bother. Instead, he waved a hand toward the book before you and said, "Then tell me about what you're reading."

You, naturally, were more than happy to oblige.

"Okay!" you cry delightedly, instantly growing giddy again at the notion of sharing the fascinating things you'd learned. As you began to babble about the various classification of stars, you almost drifted off into that state of being totally unaware of everything around you again—almost. Eijirou loves, loves, loves those classic chivalry-type actions: holding doors open for you, pulling out your chair, escorting you by the arm. Prepare to be doted upon, because this man is going to make you feel like nothing short of a queen!

Eijirou adores kids. He adores them! They're so full of energy and say the most hysterical things! And in him, you've got the best of both worlds. He can be a rough-and-tumble fella playing in the dirt and tossing a football, and he can be crammed in a tiny little chair in a frilly tutu and all decked out in glittery jewelry having a tea party with the teddy bears, and everything in-between. No matter what your kids like to do, Eijirou's gonna be a part of it. And of course, he loves your furry member of the family, too; catch this beefcake of a man strolling around walking your cute little Bichon frisé, baby-talking to it while feeding it dinner scraps, insisting that it sleeps in the bed with you, the whole nine yards. It's a sight to see!

You mentioned that cooking and baking are things you prefer to do with another person, and Eijirou's the same way! So here's some headcanons about that:

Eijirou knows his way around a grill, but that's honestly about it. He can do other stuff, of course, but it's a lot of work and kind of boring when he's by himself. When he finds out that you kind of feel the same way, then he proposes that you two try and master this essential life skill together!

It's a good thing you like meat because Eijirou is all about that protein! Any recipe he brings you to try and cook will definitely be meat-based. Every once in a blue moon, he'll find a different kind of recipe or baking recipe that piques his interest, though. Variety is the spice of life, after all!

He definitely does make cooking fun. He will absolutely turn on some tunes to dance and sing while you guys are cooking. More than once will you get swept up in a clumsy waltz around the kitchen only for something on the stove to start burning because you guys got too distracted having fun together! Oh, and he loves cooking with kiddos, too. Definitely the type to pull up a chair for them to stand in and let them do simple tasks. :)

Keep an eye on him, though. He is definitely the type to cook on vibes and stray from the recipe. A lot of times, it turns out pretty well! But sometimes, his experiments have some, ah, interesting results. At the very least, it's fun watching him get all flustered over something turning out unexpectedly. Very rarely, things will go astronomically bad, but Eijirou's quite willing to concede defeat and laugh it off. He'll definitely pay for the emergency take-out, too.

I hope you're not the type to freak out at a messy kitchen, because, oh, boy, does it look like a tornado rolled through once Eijirou's done cooking. He's not really that graceful of a guy to begin with, but his clumsiness compounds when you both are cooking together because he just gets so excited and is having so much fun! And of course, he'll insist on doing the clean-up since most of it is his mess (but if you insist on helping, he won't argue much because cleaning together is fun, too!).

He is 100% a dessert man. No dinner is complete without dessert. He buys one every time you go out to eat, and there will always be a stash of ice creams, cakes, cookies, and assorted sweets around because this man will NOT go without it. Of course, his favorites are the ones he makes with you!

Now, here's your drabble included with the Tier III match-up! Eijirou Kirishima is 100% the type to throw himself into a trampoline park well into adulthood, LOL. So here's the two of you enjoying a trampoline park date!:

"Waaaak!"

You cry out in alarm as a pre-teen child punches the inflated column behind you, causing the large ballooned pole to bounce back and whack you right in the back. Thanks to the springy, constantly-shifting floor of the inflatable, you immediately lose your balance and sprawl flat on your face. You hear Eijirou laugh riotously at your less-than-graceful fall, and then feel the inflatable floor undulate as he hops lightly across the inflatable to you.

"You okay?" he asks with a chuckle, then quickly crouches down before a punching bag-like attachment to the bouncy house's ceiling can wallop him in the head.

As you push yourself onto your hands and knees, he uses one hand to sweep your hair from your face and the other to help you. You sit up on your knees, toss your hair back over your shoulders, and then smirk devilishly. Eijirou has no time to prepare before you shove him hard in the shoulders, making him fall flat on his rump. You laugh and hastily scramble back to your feet, swaying precariously as the inflatable floor dips and jumps with Eijirou's weight.

"Hey! That was uncalled for!" he cries and dives for you, just barely managing to miss grabbing ahold of your leg. "Oi! Get back here!"

With a squeal, you spring across the bouncy castle and then clamber through the tunnel at the end, which brings you into a massive ball pit. Giggling elatedly, you wade into the sea of colorful plastic balls; you're about halfway across it when Eijirou comes wriggling through the tunnel. He dives into the ball pit with a roar, and his jump carries him close enough to feel his fingers graze the back of your shirt.

"C'mere, you!" he grins victoriously as he leaps from the pit, sending balls flying everywhere like rainbow sea foam splashing from a great wave. He traps you in his embrace, then flops sideways, carrying you both back into the ball pit. You flounder around for a bit, unsuccessfully trying to escape his firm grip until your exertion grows too much for you and you fall limp in his arms.

"Hah, hah, fine," you pant heavily, the sweat shining on your skin as it is illuminated by the bright fluorescent light strips lining the massive ceiling of the indoor trampoline park. "You win!"

"I do indeed," Eijirou purrs, "and I get a reward, right?"

"Oh? And what do you want as a reward?"

"A kiss," he grins immediately, and you roll your eyes. But you're just as quick to grant him his prize, leaning in to peck him affectionately on the lips. When you pull back, he smiles adoringly at you, like you've just hung the moon in the sky for him and not just given him a little smooch.

Of course, then he grins like a maniac and shoves you face-first into the ball pit. Over the sound of the balls shifting around your writhing form, you hear him dashing toward the opening leading to the next bouncy house with a triumphant cackle. It's game on already, you think, and waste no time in clambering after him. You will have your revenge!

Hanta Sero!

That’s right, this bubbly tape hero is the boy for you! He loves your personality; there’s just something about a confident, witty, open-minded gal that Hanta just adores. Most importantly, though, he loves that you have a sense of humor. Hanta is a funny guy himself, so he loves having someone who can joke and banter with him. When you guys team up to roast one of your friends, it’s downright brutal, just hitting them with witty barbs left and right. They’ll definitely need some ice after those burns!

Truth be told, Hanta’s kind of nosy himself, so you guys definitely find yourselves in some awkward situations as a result of your snooping. You can’t help it though! It’s so fun, and you can’t stand not knowing something! Hanta’s really easy-going, so when you get into your ill-tempered moments, he can definitely handle you. He knows you don’t mean it, so he just lets it roll right off his shoulders. There’s nothing some sweet-talk and a shoulder massage can’t fix!

Now, I won’t lie, Hanta’s a bit cheesy. He isn’t over-the-top, but this man is all about the cheese. He knows you’re not a fan, though, so he will try his best to do stuff you’ll appreciate-- but he is also a jokester, so sometimes he will do corny romantic stuff just to see you get flustered and annoyed. It gives him a good laugh! He always has a back-up gesture waiting though to let you know that he really does love you, <3

Hanta is definitely into quality time; it’s one of the biggest ways he shows his affection. This guy will spending every waking moment with you if he could. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing; you two could literally just be cohabiting the same space doing totally different things and it will send him over the moon. One of his favorite things to do, though, is watch scary movies! He loves old-school slasher films, mostly because he likes to make fun of the bad acting but praise the special effects. One of his all-time favorites is The Thing. But he’ll watch any scary movie, he isn’t picky!

Of course, Hanta also loves gaming too! He’s big into multi-player gaming, so it’s awesome if you are, too! If you aren’t, that’s okay, he’d still love to sit around and watch you play whatever. He’s also lowkey hooked on Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing; there’s just something about them that’s so relaxing, and everything is so cute! 

Hanta loves to dance, like, loves to dance. He is always doing little jigs while cooking or cleaning, shaking his hips to a beat only he can hear. He doesn’t sing much, but he’s always busting a move. You have caught him waltzing with a broom or mop on more than one occasion. If you’re passing by while he’s dancing, he will sweep you up to dance with him, and there is no escaping. He will insist you serenade, too, since you’re the singer!

You want pets? That’s great, because Hanta wants pets, too! He’s not a fan of most reptiles, but he does think chameleons are funky little dudes and would love to have one! He does like dogs, too, especially big and energetic breeds that he can take on runs with him! He loves watersports too, his favorite is water skiing, so a water breed like a Labrador would be perfect for the two of you! He could honestly spend hours in the water, livin’ it up. He’s a menace on a jet ski. 

Hanta’s a total extrovert, so he loves the idea of being the gathering place for holidays and events! And kids? He loves kids, he definitely wants several. He loves the idea of little young-uns running around, and oh boy, the pranks he could teach them. He’s got a list of cringy dad jokes on hand to use in the future. He is so excited to both spoil his future kids and also embarrass them at every possible moment. It’s almost evil!

Hanta playing Animal Crossing is something that lives rent-free in my head, so here’s some headcanons of you two playing together!: 

“Ahh!” you hear Hanta yelp as you walk into the room, and you see him on his belly on the bed, frantically jabbing at the buttons on his Switch. You chuckle as you grab yours and walk over, snuggling up next to him before you smile, “Stung by wasps again?” 

“Yes, those little bastards! I just wanted to shake the trees for furniture,” he mopes, jutting out his lips in a pathetic pout. His poor little character is moping, too, his face puffy with wasp stings. 

“Aw, let me come kiss it better.” You join his island in multiplayer and guide your character up to his, miming a kiss. His character reacts with a big smile and an flowery, sunny aura glowing around his head, which makes you giggle. 

After getting Hanta’s avatar some medicine, you set to watering your flower garden. You had been working hard these last few weeks cross-breeding the different types of flowers, striving to have every single type on your island. Of course, that meant a lot of flowers and a lot of broken watering cans. 

“Darn!” you whine when your fourth one breaks. Hanta’s avatar prances up beside you to drop one he had just crafted. “Aw, thanks, babe <3″ you smile and kiss him on the cheek, while he chuckles in satisfaction. 

“Can’t have my little gardening princess go without,” he hums. “Hey, check out this funky fish I caught!” His character whips out an oarfish, looking quite proud of himself. You squeal in delight. 

“Ah, go put it in the museum! I don’t think we have that one yet!” 

“You got it, babe.” He marches off, leaving you to your flowers. It’s a simple game, really, but you two enjoy the time you spend together playing it, and honestly, you make a great time! 

Hanta yelps again a few minutes later, and you snort. “If it ain’t the wasps, it’s the damn tarantulas!” he whines. You swear, the bugs have it out for him. But you march your character over to kiss it better anyways. <3

Hanta with a Labrador is also something I am passionate about, so here’s a scenario of you guys enjoying a day at a lake with your pooch!: 

“Geronimo!” Hanta howls as he springs off the pier, curling up to do a cannonball. You squeal and shield your face as he smacks into the water, sending up waves in all directions. The water douses your face and shoulders, and it’s streaming down your face when Hanta surfaces with a huge grin. Of course, your dog barrels into the lake next with a loud bark of delight, drenching you all over again. 

Hanta pats your dog’s back as it swims up to him, tail wagging a mile a minute. 

“Who’s a good boy? Who’s a good boy?” he gushes while scratching the pup all over. Your dog barks madly in response, trying to roll over to get its belly scratched but only succeeding in flopping around in the water like a fish. You laugh, swimming up to lay your chin on Hanta’s shoulder and give your pooch a few courtesy scratches behind the ear. 

“You two were made for the water,” you hum. Hanta stretches out to float on the surface, hands churning the surface to keep steady. “I swear, you’re more fish than human!” 

“Do you think I would make good sushi?” 

“I dunno, let’s find out,” you say and playfully chomp down on his shoulder. He yelps, then splashes you in the face with the cold lake water. You recoil, spitting it out, while he cackles maniacally. As you’re recovering, you’re defenseless, so Hanta takes it upon himself to grab you and start nuzzling into your head. You squeal, batting at him, and that entices your dog to jump over and begin licking your face. Under assault from both of them, you can only laugh. Guess you were destined to be a fishwife!

Atsumu Miya!

That’s right, this charming fox is the guy for you! Your confidence and sarcasm are qualities that mesh so well with Atsumu; being a sarcastic little shit himself, he loves having someone he can team up with to playfully quibble with (or just absolutely roast the shit out of someone)! He also likes that you can find the humor in a lot of things. Atsumu loves humor, he’s got a teasing and joking personality, so he needs someone who doesn’t take things too seriously. He also appreciates your bluntness-- Atsumu’s not one to mince words himself! He knows you can get a bit ill-tempered sometimes, but that’s okay-- he still loves you to pieces! 

It’s good that you’re not really into cheesy and over-the-top gestures-- despite his loud personality, Atsumu prefers to be simple with his gestures. Little gifts, notes on the steamy mirror while you’re showering, surprise bouquets with little fanfare-- he doesn’t want to embarrass you with public displays! He knows that as long as you know you’re loved, that’s all that matters. 

Speaking of that, Atsumu is super cuddly and loves to spend time with you. It doesn’t matter what you two do, really, but Atsumu really does love your movie time. He loves movies just as much as you do, especially scary movies! He loves to just curl up on the couch with you and laugh about how silly the people in the movies act-- but despite how tough Atsumu pretends to be, jump scares do get him, too. Sometimes he is overdramatic and plays it up just because he wants to snuggle with you!

He also appreciates how creative you are! He loves to check out your paintings and photos. He loves talking you up and telling you how talented you are, he is totally you’re hype man. He’s even willing to help you take photos, setting up props and giving you the perfect lighting and effects-- no task is too great for your creative process! 

He thinks it’s really cute that you sing and dance a lot, especially not noticing. Atsumu does it too! When he’s doing chores, he’ll dance around with the broom or he’ll sing while he’s spraying the windows with cleaner. It’s pretty comical, Atsumu wiggling his eyebrows while he’s trying to twerk and get your attention-- but you can’t help but get swept up in it. Soon chores are forgotten and you guys are standing on the couch belting out tunes. Sure, it may not be the most efficient thing, but it sure is fun!

Atsumu loves pets! He’s a little wigged out by the reptiles but he can get used to it, but dogs? He loves pooches! He is totally down with having a bunch of pets. HIs favorites are small, poofy, energetic dogs; I could totally see him strutting down the street with a gaggle of Pomeranians, looking hot and confident. He’d be good with any dogs, though, and again, he’s totally whipped for you so he’ll get you any pet you want... even if he gets a little freaked out and stands at the other side of the room. 

Did you say bubble baths? You’re speaking Atsumu’s language! Nothing is better than a romantic bubble bath with you, with wine and candles and flower petals and lots and lots of love! His favorite thing after coming home is sinking into a bubble bath with you to talk about your respective days while tracing patterns into your soapy skin. He just loves the intimacy of it all. In the same vein, he loves having a bunch of pillows and blankets, too-- so cuddly! He loves to just tackle you onto the bed and bury you both in pillows and blankets for super-duper snuggle time! 

Atsumu is super adventurous, so the fact that you like to travel is awesome to him. He loves to just put on some sunglasses and a backpack and go for a hike, to hit the beach or river or lake, or just wander around window-shopping and seeing the sights. It’s just another way to spend time with you and to relieve the humdrum, and your outings are definitely some of his favorite memories!

Oh my gosh, Atsumu wants a big family. Nothing is better to him than a bunch of mini-hims and mini-yous running around. If it’s not enough to have an entire volleyball team, it’s not enough kids! Atsumu so, so, so looks forward to being a father, and you guys have many conversations deep into the night about his plans and aspirations for the future. He loves babies, any time you guys see one on the street he goes absolutely ga-ga over it and it is the most adorable thing ever. Rest assured that Atsumu will be 100% down with having huge family gatherings because that’s what it’s all about? 

I’m really enthusiastic about Atsumu and his Pomeranians, so I thought up a little set of headcanons of how Atsumu would totally spoil his babies...

All of Atsumu’s Pomeranians are girls, and they are all his princesses. I’m talking he dresses them in little sparkly dresses and tiaras and paints their nails, the whole nine yards. They are so spoiled it’s ridiculous but Atsumu loves his dogs, okay? 

They all have their own beds in y’all’s bedroom, and they all pile in like clockwork every night when you go to bed. The room is filled with little doggy snores and even though you laugh at it, it is really cute. 

Atsumu is a great dog owner. He makes sure they have food and water, he gets them groomed every month, and he takes them for walks every other day. And walks? They are an event. 

The dogs are fabulously dressed, Atsumu is fabulously dressed, and you are fabulously dressed as you strut out with your gaggle of dogs on their leashes. All you hears it the pitter-patter of little doggy feet and jangling collars as you guys absolutely crowd the sidewalk. Of course, the neighbors love it, and passersby will feed Atsumu’s ego by gushing over all his princesses. He loves it, and by extension, you do too because he’s just so enthusiastic. 

Atsumu talks to the dogs all the time. He babbles to them, praises them, it’s so cute. It’s seeing him with the dogs that actually gives you the thought that he’s gonna be such a good father. Even when they tear something up or have an accident in the house, he’s stern but understanding and it just makes your heart melt imagining him talking to a toddler instead of a fluffy dog. 

When you bring that up to him, he cries. Full stop. Breaks down into tears and wraps you up in a big hug. Then he flops down on the floor so his princesses can pile all over him. Atsumu is a little bit dramatic. 

Transitioning, I wanna write a scenario about Atsumu being excited about your future family!:

“Hey, babe,” Atsumu says as he flops down on the bed on his belly, making you bounce as you sit cross-legged playing a handheld console. 

“Hey,” you reply, looking up at him with a smile. He’s got his cheek in his hand, giving you a dreamy look that makes your heart flutter though you’ve seen it a thousand times. You can sense that he wants to say something, so you set the console down and rest your hands on your lap. “What’s up?” 

“You want kids, right?” 

“Yeah! Lots of ‘em!” you grin. You’ve been dating Atsumu for a while now, so a conversation like this isn’t that embarrassing or alarming. Besides, it was so easy to talk about things with Atsumu that you didn’t even think twice about letting the words tumble from your mouth. “I want a big family, and I want to have huge families gatherings where everyone comes over and has a good time. I want our house to be so full of love.” 

“Our house?” he echoed, catching a glimpse of just how attached you were to him, and you gush. He looks excited, not scared, so you don’t backtrack. He scoots up to wrap his arms loosely around your hips, then pulls up the edge of your shirt so he can place a kiss on your hip. You squirm at the feathery feeling of his mouth on your skin. 

“Yeah... our house.” 

“I want a lotta kids, too,” he smiles up at you. “Lots of little me’s and you’s, all runnin’ around everywhere kickin’ up a fuss.” He rolls onto his back and pulls you down on top of him, fitting your body against his in that perfect way that made your heart thump. He peppered kisses on your face between his words, “A happy home full of love and happiness... That’s what I want.” 

“And that’s what we’ll have someday,” you smiled down at him, and his smile grew bigger. 

“Yeah. Yeah, we will.”
