Cats. 8) They gon’ have a cat family. And rule Egypt with an army of felines! But yes. They have a fondness for cats. How sweet.

They share a similar mindset. Especially in their child/teenagerhood. Atem would feel the most comfortable communicating with Mana because they’re technically the closest age-wise and can understand each other.

LorD, these kids are out of controoool. They’re always up to something! Atem should know better but he’s very much entertained by Mana and encourages the shenanigans.

"Happy Birthday atem!!!~", mana yelled hugging the pharao tightly. She leaned in and whispered in his ear, "Don't go to sleep early tonight, I'll come and give you your present~". With that mana leaned away, let go of atem and looked at him with a teasing smirk. "Bye for now my pharao~", mana said in a polite manner and waved at the guards, happily walking away.

~💜~💜~💜~ Later in the night ~💜~💜~💜~

The magican came as promised and climbed up over the balcony, entering atems bed chambers. "Atem? Oh! Lucky me, so you are still awake!", mana smiled, running towards him and giggeled. She couldn't help it. Feeling pure happiness as soon as she sees him. Truth be told she missed him all day and couldn't wait for this moment to come.

"Are you ready for your present? If you are.. come and follow me! We have somewhere to be~", mana held her hand out to him and waited for his answer, "eh.. also please don't ask how I made it possible. I made suuuper sure that isn't dangerous at all! And you'll be save all the way!!!", mana smiled with a bright grin as she walked him out of the palace to some horses. "It isn't far from here, it's place I found by myself and I wanted to show it to you", mana explained while climbing onto her horse, then holding her hand out for the pharao. "D-Don't look at me like that.. Let me be your knight in shining amor for tonight! Sit behind me!", the magican blushed as she looked away from his eyes. The gaze seemed to heated. Mana didn't know how to act at the current moment. She wondered if this was to much..

"We are here!! Wait! Wait! Sit, don't get up yet!", mana held atem back in panic. After all she had this all so well planed and organized. It would be sad if it didn't work out well. So mana jumped quickly down from the horse and turned around, holding her hand out towards him, "May I?", she smiled gently at him.

"Don't worry what I want to show you is just up ahead!", mana said while she walked through a gate, it was covered in beautiful flowers and plants. Walking inside, there was a small, yet so breathtaking garden. With a big fountain in the middle. A cute swing hung down from the trees and roses, flowers, plants everywhere. Some butterflys and fireflys flew in the air, setting the right mood. While walking through the middle of it, there was a table, with two seats. One looking like a throne while the other looked like a normal chair. Their names were written on them.

"Please sit down atem~", mana smiled while she pointed towards the throne. "I made this for both of us. I'm not best cook so I mostly just brought some fruits and chocolate.. I still hope you'll enjoy it~". With that the magican snipped her finger and the box disappeared. Instead a plates with fruits and sweets appeared on the table, "Don't worry they are all fresh~", mana giggled while eating one of the grapes, "see?", while chewing it and shwalloing it.

The magican noticed atem's gaze right away. Yes.. she should explain. Of course he would be confused. Maybe this was really to much. But the book said that you treat the person you love like this.. maybe the book lied? What a mess..

With a blush mana stood up and walked infront of the pharao. "My dear atem, I'm sorry for acting all mysteryious. I wish you happy birthday. And this garden as everything in it is my present for you! I created this garden in the thought of you!" the magican smiled with a special gaze in her eyes. She looked at him with pure love. Spreading her arms out to her sides as to show of the garden, "The whole garden", then she pointed on the seats and the food, "plus everything in it belongs to you".

Mana took one last step closer to him as she hugged herself, "even me~", she whispered so only he could hear, blushing cutely. With that mana turned around, blushing heavily, her heart beating faster as usually. Not wanting to look at him. Was she scared? Maybe? Would atem understand what she was trying to say? Maybe? Hopefully?

"Noo! You guys don't understand I didn't steal the cape! The pharao gave it to me!",

mana pouted, clinging to purple cape that belonged to none other than atem himself. Two guards saw her walking around with it and thought the magican was causing trouble again. So what happened now was, the guards had chased mana all over the palace just for the girl to hide on a tree looking down at the guards.

"If you want the cape so bad come up here & get it!",

mana said, showing her tongue to the guards. So they tried to climb up the tree. Just for the magican to jump down and run away.

"Just kidding~ You won't get the cape anyway~ hehe~",

she laughed and runs off. Before mana could look forward she run into someone. Quickly hugging the cape, like it's some treasure she looked up.

"Oh atem.. sorry I'm just kinda in a hurry hehe~"

"I feel like I'm missing something...",

the girl whispered to herself, sitting on the window from her house. The former magican looked outside, closing her eyes as the raindrops fell from the grey sky. She was listening closely to the sounds of the falling water hitting the ground.

A sigh left mana. Somehow she felt nostalgic, almost sad. The moment the girl opened her eyes, a single tear ran down her cheek. But mana didn't really understand her feelings towards the rain. Just that the same feeling happening over & over again. The former magican couldn't remember when it started or why it started. 'Maybe some trauma??', she thought.

Her thoughts were cut off by the ringing of her door. Mana jumped up, running towards the door,

"I'M COMING~!",

the girl yelled while running down the stairs, opening the door. A big smile formed on her face as she saw 'HIM' standing infront of her. Holding an umbrella over his head and a bag with snack & drinks in the other. The guitar-bag hanging over his shoulder, with the black leader jacket he was wearing, it suited him so well. He looked like the perfect boyfriend-material--

Quickly shaking her head the girl stepped a bit to the side,

"Hello atem~ Come in!! I hope you didn't get to wet because of sudden rain?",

the former magican smiled at the boy infront of her. Gently taking his umbrella from him, closing the door once he was inside. Mana couldn't explain this feeling but the sadness was gone now, everytime atem was around she felt pure happiness, saftey and just so complete.

"Mana?.. Did you cry?",

atem's worried voice made her look up. She didn't even notice the tear that had escaped her eye earlier. Just as atem's hand gently touched her cheek and wiped it away, the girl noticed what he meant. A blush covered her face as she looked up at the boy. His eyes were full of worry, but also something else. 'Was that.. guilt? But why?.. It's not like he did something bad?' , the former magican thought confused.

Mana smiled at atem and took his hand in her's as she answered,

"Don't worry, it's nothing serious! I just have some weird connection with the rain since I can think. I always cry when it rains, somehow I feel sad. I also always forget my umbrella when I go out! But no one knows why, not even the doctor could help the situation. So don't worry okay? It's normal!",

mana softly pressed against his hand and intertwined their fingers,

"I would rather hear the new song you told me about. Is that okay?~",

a giggle left her mouth as she walked him towards her livingroom, ignoring the thunder & lighting outside. The rain seemed to get worse but all mana could hear was atem's beautiful voice.

The sky was dark. The air was cold. The rain was strong and didn't seem to stop anytime soon. If someone wouldn't know any better they would think this was a ghost-town. Yet a girl walked through the empty streets, calmly as if the rain doesn't even exist to her. The cold, dark weather didn't seem to bother her either. She seemed far away, lost. But yet the people of the town admired her, called her a "fairy" or a "blessing of the gods".

To herself mana was no such thing. Mana hated herself more than anyone ever could. She couldn't even protect those close to her. Now everyone she once loved was gone. How many months ago was it? Or had it already been years??

Looking down in a puddle, the magican saw herself in it. Ahh, true she was all grown-up now. She looked way older than she remembered. So it must've been years already, right?? Mana sighed, jumping in the puddle as she bit her lip, 'Who even cares?? Time is useless anyway!!' , the girl yelled on the inside.

Continueing the walk through the rain the girl lost any sense of thought, any sort of meaning. Just walking, walking, walking on. A loud thunder made mana look up. Looking around, her mouth opened but no sound came out. She was in shock. Silence. Just the rain and the thunder was heard. Infront of the magican were a bunch of old ruins. Some of them visible, some of them hidden by the sand. 'Time is really moving on fast huh?' , the magican let out a deep breath.

Some of the ruins looked odly familiar to mana. She wondered why. Was she here before?? Looking around herself. Sand, sand, more sand, sa- no wait!! These things hidden in the sand.. Here was once a town??? But now nothing of it was left.. But why does this all seem odly familiar to the girl??

"Maybe I'm really going crazy huh??",

mana grumbled, shaking her head while walking through the ruins. She came to an sudden stop, 'Wow!! How was that possible??'. Before her was a garden. In between the bunch of old ruins was a beautiful, still fresh garden! It looked like it was well taken care of. 'But how?? Did someone use magic??' , this caught mana's interest! Which was a very hard thing to do now-days!

Continueing to look around in the garden, the girl didn't find anything. But mana made herself a note to come back here on a day when the weather was better. This needs more research! It could be dangerous or of great use!! While moving on, walking towards the next ruin, it all of sudden got dark behind her. Quickly mana turned around, ready to fight. 'What??' , the garden had turned dark, it looked dirty, completly the opposite from before. The magican didn't believe her eyes.

"So IT is me just losing my mind.. well good to know",

the magican grabbed her head, while walking outside in the rain again. The weather was still the same. Yet mana still didn't understand the feeling of knowing this all. Even if she did find out, would it even matter?? It wouldn't change anything! It wouldn't bring 'HIM' back! It couldn't bring the person back she loved most!

Lost in thoughts mana stumbled over something on the floor, she fell face first in the wet, dirty sand.

"Eww..", the magican grumbled, slowly sitting up, rubbing the dirt off her face, the girl looked back to see what she had fallen over. 'This stupid thing..' ,

In a heartbeat she could feel her heart tighten up. Her breath got stuck, knot building in her throat. Eyes widened with every passing second. Her hands started to shake, one slowly reaching out. She could feel her stomatch hurting as the memorys rained down on her,

" What brings you here today mana?~"

" Did you sneak in through my balcony again?~"

"How is your magic trainging going?~"

" Thank you for your support mana! It means much to me~"

" Are you hiding here from mahad again?~"

" You did amazing mana! I'm so proud of you!"

" You're as beautiful as the stars! Mana.. you truly mean much to me~"

" My cape is way to big for you.. but I guess you look adorable?"

" Well done mana! Soon you could even beat me haha~"

" It may seem childish to you! But mana is the one & only that I adore and love! I want her by my side for now and forever!~"

" Are you nervous? I thought you loved me?~"

"You don't know what you do to me, kitten~"

"Please, be mine?~"

"Mana, will you give yourself to me? For now & forever? May our souls & our hearts always find each other!"

Tears ran down mana's face, looking at the hidden throne under the sand. The throne that had belonged to 'HIM'. A loud cry escaped mana. Now she remembered why this place seemed so familiar. 30 years ago this place was once her home. Her childhood. But now.. everything was gone, destroyed, washed away by the rain.

The girl picked herself up, her legs shaking, her sight blurry by the still overflowing tears. She started to run, running away from the memorys, from the painful past. Now the magican remembered why she moved away, why she tried to forget it all. How often had she nightmares?? How often did she break down?? How often did she try to end her live by herself? End it all!! But mana couldn't...

'What if 'HE' came back? What if 'HE' is still alive?' , small pieces of hope sometimes crossed her mind.

So the magican continued to walk through the rain, continued to help the people of the town, continued to use magic. But yet, the sadness, the emptiness never disappeared. The smile never appeared on her face ever again.

Mana didn't even notice that as soon as she came back to the magical-garden it started to bloom again. Thanks to her the garden was fresh again. Thanks to her the past was still alive. Neither did the ancient-mana know that both, her & atem hadn't giving up yet and would meet once again, in the future!

Deshret was in the desert taking care of his people in his kingdom of Ay-Khanoum.

The sun shined bright in the so clear sky as mana walked around in the desert. Wondering where she was, it looked very different from her home.

"Ahh.. I shouldn't have used that spell book all by myself! Where am I?.. I guess it's still the desert soo..",

mana sighed to herself, looking around confused. A smile appeared on her face, seeing a town not so far away. Finally! Maybe someone can help her there. So the magican walked towards the city.

mana said while caressing over her neck with her finger. A soft blush covered her cheeks, which wasn't even acting. The girl felt her face heat up while thinking back on what had happened the day before. It was a nice but embarrassing memory.

Looking back to yugi, mana couldn't wait to see how he would handle this situation. She already had her fun just by seeing the cute boy stutter. How adorable~

"How is it so hot these past few days?",

mana sighed, playing with her feet in the pool of the palace-gardens. She was sitting in the shadows, looking up at the blue so clear sky. The sun seemed so big today. Shining brighter than ever. It looked beautiful. But this heat.. was rather uncomfortable.

"I wonder what atem is doing right now?",

the magican thought out loud while playing with the water, infront of her. Unnoticed by herself, mana's finger formed a heart in the water. She wondered if the pharao also felt that this heat was uncomfortable. Lucky at this time of the day no one was around, so mana had the garden's all to herself.

"Maybe he is also hot? I mean.. he IS.. hot!! But..-",

the girl blushed at her statement and stopped talking. The heat really seemed to mess not only with her head but also with her heart.. or was it someone else that did?~

‘’Oh Those are inventions I made so I hope you like them it took a while to make them but it was worth in the end.

He said to Mana with a smile on his face he was glad someone has in his creations.

"Woooww!!",

mana had a big smile on her face as she looked at king deshret and then around herself. He was truly a genius.

"Maybe you could show me once how they work? Of course if you have time your highness! I mean.. someone important like you must be very busy after all!",

mana quickly added and looked back at the man before her. The last thing she wanted to be was a burden. And it would be very rude to keep the king from his work. So the magican wanted to make sure to be polite about her excitement.

‘’Your in Ay-Khanoum Mana’’

He said while still looking at her curiously and ask where she is from?

"I see, then I must be very far from home. I come from a city which is far, far away from here. I used a spell out of a book and suddenly found myself in the wide desert again. I'm used to the desert but never have I seen such interesting buildings. Where I come from it's not like this hehe~",

mana said while looking around with a bright smile on her face. Ending her sentence with a giggle and looking back at the young king, standing before her. Worried it might seem weird to him since her excitement shadowed over the fear of the unkown. But it was simple to say in her world things go really crazy all the time so mana was pretty used to suprises like this. Sooner or later she would find a way back. Or atem would probably come and search for her if she was gone for to long.

Mana decided to enjoy her expierence for now and worry about everything else later.

"Say your highness, could you maybe explain what are those devices standing around everywhere? They're truly fascinating! I must apologize for my dumb question, yet I wish to learn more about this place~",

the magican asked, looking curious at the.. book? It looked like a book, sometimes it shined red, then blue devices infront of her. She pointed to it and looked back towards deshret.

Mana knew yugi was an amazing duelist and very smart but she couldn't help herself. She was always worried over him. Yet mana knew very well that yugi was right. Once again. Leaving the shop all on it's own without an owner would be risky and bad buisness. A smile appeared on her face,

"I understand! I'll stay here and take care of the shop. But please.. just promise me you'll be carefull! I know you're smart and strong. But yugi.. please come back?!",

the magican said while looking into yugis eyes. Her smile wavering a bit. Voice a bit shaky while talking. Yet still trying to believe in her close friend, mana took one step forward and gently hugged yugi. Slowly so she wouldn't scare him.

"I believe in you!",

with that mana gently layed her head on his shoulder while hugging the boy. Did he grew taller? Weird.. so many time has already past since the two of them knew each other, the girl didn't even realise.

‘’ A magician you say and your name is mana?’’

His faces changes to a softer look afterwards…

‘’ Well It’s Nice to meet you Mana…I apologize for my suspicions…you have my condolences…I’m King Deshret Pleasure to meet you’’

Mana nods and carefully looks up at him. How is he this handsome? She needs to know his secret. Like his beautiful long hair looks incredible! The moment the king responded, mana leaned up again and smiled at him,

"There is no need to apologize your highness. You were just carefull, I understand that! It is also my pleasure and honor to meet you king deshret. Thank you for asking, would you mind telling me where I am currently? I got lost in the wide desert and added up here in this city",

the magican explained her story. Yet not wanting to bring up her beeing from another world, cause who would believe that right?! They would call her crazy and lock her up! So mana decided to keep quiet for now and just get to know these people first. But at the moment the young king really caught her interest. Wanting to know more about him.
