the first time you cut me, you held my hand and bandages it up with gentle hands.

as time went by, you handed me the bandages and walked away. the pain from all your slashes lingered.

years passed after i learned how to bandage my own cuts from you.

eventually you came back and tried to touch my bandages. but the bandages my friends gave me soothed the cuts better than your cheaply made fabrics and prying fingers.
