Genuine question-

What made you choose to use Blender for 2D art? I can’t imagine it has all of the features a typical 2D software has.

I learned it at my first 3D animation job ^v^

I was right outta college and had the opportunity to work with a small team to make a hybrid 3D/2D cartoon.

The team was literally just me and 2 other people lol. We did everything. Animation, modeling, rigging, concept art, storyboards. And it was all done in blender, because it can just do all those things 😂

My lead taught me everything I needed to know about the program and I went on to work with them for a year, mainly doing 3D animation and storyboarding. I had to switch to other programs for my next job, but when my friend @yesidoodles started making animatics for fandom, it inspired me to start making my own. It was only natural that I opened my old friend blender to make them.

Now I just use it to draw everything 😂 even when I'm not animating it.
