I’m as annoyed as everybody else abt rvb being taken down but the thing that is most infuriating is the now lack of captions on rooster teeth’s website. I have not seen the ability to have captions. The YouTube videos had extremely detailed captions that made watching rvb something I was able to do.

Vee has had some time to reflect

here is what we are going to try and do:

put time and energy into those who want it and deserve it

write whatever we want even though it’s not what others might want because it is what we want to write

enjoy our space because it is indeed our space

stay true and authentic to ourselves

enjoy the journey and the process

here is what we are going to try not to do:

interact with people who clearly do not want to interact with us

force ourselves to write what we think people want us to write

allow other people to invade our safe space

force ourselves to be someone we aren’t just to fit in

try and get to a destination because there is no destination. stop waiting for that aha moment…for anyone who thinks you’ll reach happiness when you get a certain number of followers, when a certain fic hits that certain number of notes, when a certain blogger you’ve been wanting to interact with you or your work finally does it…let me tell you something…sure those things are nice. but at one point, you’re gonna be like okay…now what? what next? so for anyone who is like me and has thought reaching certain milestones are going to be that aha moment for you, trust me…it won’t be. there’s always going to be that subconscious longing for more and more, it’ll never end. so just enjoy your time and enjoy the journey 🫂
