GWのお休み中に当店は開店15周年を迎えることが出来ました。ありがとうございます。

Gutted to see the were on a pair of my newer shoes. Bought just August past, it's not as if they are the only ones I run in. There's only 320km on them. I got 2000k out of my first pair. Vibrams are great for longevity. There's no support to break down, so the go till I literally wear holes in them. Not this pair.

I emailed the supplier and I learned something. They are billed as a gym shoe "with some running " So, not a running shoe. My bad. I'm sure that was written somewhere when I was buying them. However, as a gesture of goid will, I've been offered 15% discount on my next pair. That was nice, I thought. They didn't have to do that.

Next consumer item today 😁 My Shokz over-ear phones went wonky a few days ago. The left ear stopped working altogether, just out of nowhere. I emailed Shokz, and after the usual troubleshooting efforts and sending them a video to show the silence on the left, they have sent me a new set. Yay for customer service!

This is this morning's pre run stuff. Pineapple, spinach, ginger and turmeric smoothie. Matcha green tea. I won't drink the whole thing. Imagine all that sloshing about inside you during a run!

Isn't it amazing how we can do down what we've done. I'm in danger of berating myself for "only" running 4k today, but I ran for half an hour! I can run for half an hour! Many, many people in the world can not do that. Kudos to me and my fifty-six year old body.

It's sunny and warm this morning. It's so lovely to run on a day like that. I chose the hilly 5k route, but made the conscious decision to do 4k as an "easy" day. I've strides tomorrow, so want to be a bit more rested, without breaking my streak.

No bad news about the right knee niggle from yesterday. Both knees do have a bit of a tendency to feel a bit weak. Weight loss will help hopefully.

Everlast knee support today. I think I prefer it. It feels more like a hug for my knee.
