Hana stared down at her meal. Her mother was a great cook and she'd missed her kimchi so much that there were leftovers for her to pack up at home. She missed her parents, but to see them sitting across the table and eating quietly, she knew something was wrong.

It was the frequent stares her mother would give Dongwook across the table when she didn't think he was looking. The way her father would do the same, then pat his wife on her back to assure her that everything was fine that gave it away. Hana had heard a few times over the phone how she didn't approve of their relationship, though she'd thought meeting him in person would change their mind.

"It's good," Hana said in reference to the stew she was eating. "I've missed your cooking. I've told Dongwook oppa about it...he's been excited to try," she lied, using her knee to nudge his leg to him to agree.
