I’m totally geeking out right now.

If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a huge enthusiast about all things sex and sex related.

Down to the anatomy and sociology of it.

To be honest, if my current majors don’t pan out, then I’d love to be a sex therapist or researcher of some sort.

Anywho, I’m also a Michael Sheen enjoyer so when I found out that he played famed sexologist, William Masters in Masters of Sex, I started binging it.

But because I don’t have any of the streaming services that it’s on, I had to find other ways of watching it.

Even then, with a favorite actor of mine playing a person who specialized in one of my many interests, I felt like I won the lottery.

My university had Human Sexual Response, the 1966 book that chronicled their decade long research.

It was the first edition, twentieth print.

Then a book that was a sociological analysis on the aforementioned book, PLUS season one and two of Masters of Sex.

I didn’t end up getting either book just because I already have some reading to do for my classes but when I have time I’ll check them out.

I did however rent the first and second seasons of Masters of Sex.

I’m thinking of sending a note requesting for the third and fourth seasons.

I’m just beyond happy at the moment, thought I’d share.

It is about a child who is overweight and has to deal with other children's inconsideration, which causes her to have low self-esteem. Virginia E. Johnson ~ Woman of the Month

Virginia E. Johnson was an American sexologist, best known as a member of the Masters and Johnson sexuality research team.

Virginia Johnson was recognized as one of the leading sexologists of our time. She spent more than five decades conducting research, teaching, and practicing treatment for sexual dysfunction. Along with her long-time partner, William Masters, Johnson spearheaded the field of sexual psychology. 

One of the most profound impacts Johnson’s work had on the field of psychology was in the area of treating sexual dysfunction. Until the observations at the Masters & Johnson Institute, sexual impairments were treated with very little success through prolonged courses of individual psychoanalysis.

Update: I found the book too!!

Please don’t mind that this is slowly becoming a blog where I passionately share my interest of sex down to its “boring bones” i.e. sexology and whatnot.

I’m so close to finishing S2 of it’s TV adaption and I’m just over the moon once again in finding these things.
