Alice was panting but only for a moment. Now that they were safe in the library, Alice felt better. It was her home away from home. Well, it was tied with the TARDIS nowadays. People might've been creeped out by a library at night, but Alice felt right at home.

Without missing a beat, she nodded her agreement. "I'll say. This is like the sort of stuff that happens when a friend of mine is around." She told the other. "Didn't think it would happen while he's not here." That realization scared her. She'd always counted on the Doctor to be there to save her, but the Doctor was away, while she visited home to come to terms with a recent revelation. What was she supposed to do?

"I have no time for antics or troublemaking. Some of us still have a reputation to uphold, and I just happen to be one of them." Kira remarked, clearly in the middle of studying, and not quite sure how to deal with someone who was a child of her father's enemy and ex-best friend. If anything, the bad blood between their father's was a clear sign to stay clear. "Surely there must be someone else you can bother?"

If you told the Doctor that he'd be caught in a hug, he'd be confused but not really unbelievable. But he didn't exactly expect - well this. So it's safe to say that he was confused. Surprised a bit at best or completely, but that didn't deter them from returning the hug back. Not that it was a complaint, plus besides getting the hug of death as he jokes. Not with Jackie in earshot, why would he call it that with her there, he'd probably get yelled at for it.

He just doesn't often get hugs from other people outside of his family, and even Tony seems to have gotten into hugging him like it could be the last. So he was going to spend every second of this hug happily.
