Hi my beautiful friends, I will talk in this meta about the episode in which Case confessed his love. Did he? Or didn't he? Heheh let's see.

Dean Jealous and his contra-macho cool friend reaction

Oh yes, I'm gonna talk about that scene. I saw so many memes because Dean's dimples of discontent were loud. So get this...

MANDY: And how ‘bout you, handsome?

Dean's face here can't be taken by other thing than JEALOUSY, he is not amused with that girl throwing heart eyes to Cas. And he shows his dimples of discontent. Not amused at all. So, he post-reaction to this, with his mom on the table and that tough hunter too, he does what society waits for a friend to do when a girl is showing signs of flirtation to one of his friends...

But he overreacts and says a couple of silly things. One of them, Sam won't let go easily.

This is the lie, because Dean doesn't want to teach Cas to conquer women. But he has to pretend he does. Because he wants to show the supportive friend he is. 'We've been looking for teachable moments' like 'We?' Sam and him? Sammy doesn't look as if he was waiting for this moment, besides, he knows what Dean feels for Cas, so... Dean is almost reaching the ridiculous line in here. Trying so hard to sound one thing, he is not.

Look at this...

SAM: The internet here sucks. I downloaded all the bunker’s files to a new archive, but we’re not getting any signal, so I’m j–

DEAN: [makes snoring noises and pretends to sleep] Nobody cares. Cas, here’s the thing you need to know about waitresses, okay? They get hit on all day long, so you gotta bring your A game. But, upside? [clicks tongue] They always smell like food.

WALLY: [nodding along with Dean, then pointing at him] They always smell like food.

First: Sam immediately changed the subject dragging them to the case and a difficulty he is having to get more info, and Dean! Dean just cut him off! He just can't let a waitress hitting on Cas' alone! Because is VERY IMPORTANT to him, to pretend he is helping him, because he is the waitress experienced friend, and try to low Castiel's expections into venture to do that!

Because... He says 'They always smell like food!" As if that were something sexy!

And Wally is just affirming that premise, and then Sam... Because he was interrupted by his brother's fake show, and because he knows what's the behind the scenes, he engages revengeful ...

SAM: Is that really an upside? They smell like food?

MARY: Okay– okay...

DEAN: Right? It’s great.

SAM: Why would you want them to smell like food?

Dean can't lie to Sam, because Sam knows the truth, he knows Dean is trying to kill every interest Castiel could ever have in hook up with any waitress in the world. Because he is jealous! And I believe Mary noticed that too, and just scolded their boys. Hehehe.

Okay, leaving to a side that his face is out of control, because he really thinks Cas is devastating handsome, he keeps with the cool friend that helps his friend, and the only one believing that story in that table is Wally, because he didn't live the Destiel drama. Dean is pretending like a good, because Wally is there. But Sam know, Mary knows, and even Cas knows.

Dean is like 'I helped you, buddy, did you like that? I'm a cool friend.' and Cas is like 'Do you really want me to date this female, Dean?' just because the poor guy put so many effort on that. Geez. Dean is a mess... Heheheh.

I Love You

I will try to focus the meta in the 'I love you' scene, because before that, we have a very distressed Dean Winchester trying to save his angel. Dean is nervous, and in denying. Because his head can't process the fact of loosing Castiel for ever. He can't handle that lost, that's why he denies it.

Now, let's go to the famous scene. Did Cas said I Love You to Dean?

If you rewatch the scene, previous to this confession, Castiel is looking at Dean straight in the eyes, then he drops his gaze and says these words, with a hint of shame.

But Dean's reaction can only been explained as someone who's hearing his best friend saying goodbye and giving up. And also, because in english language, this I LOVE YOU, could be sayed to a singular person of more than one. So, Dean thinks this I Love You was for them (Dean, Sam and Mary) that's why that face, is a face that says : ' Come one man, don't say it, you won't die, this is not the goodbye.'

I know a lot of people thinks Dean's reaction is because he wasn't prepared to receive a love confession, but I don't really think that. He is not prepared to say it. And in this take, he thinks this goodbye confession if for all the Winchesters in that room. Why do I think this? Because his reaction is very different when he sees Cas saying this to Sam and Mary.

Cas averts his eyes to Sam and Mary and Dean's face is of realization here.

He realizes the first I LOVE YOU was for him.

Why would Cas make that difference? Because the meaning are different. Even when he previously confess they are his family, he chooses to look at Dean first a confess one exclusive I love you for him.

Is platonic? Is romantic?

I truly believe is romantic, because there was shame in Cas' face, and he dropped his eyes before saying it. And I think Dean knew this deep inside.

But it could be taken otherwise, that's why it stays like a grey zone between them.

When Crowley comes and saves Castiel, Dean's face of relief is priceless, and there's this little finger touch Cas made over Dean's hand before left his hand go. They were close to be separated, what they don't know is, this is a foreshadow of Castiel's real death at the endo of the season, but also, Dean saying: "Let's go home" is foreshadowing too his own words in episode 13x06, when Castiel comes back to him.

To Conclude:

Episode 12x12 has Jealous!Dean, inside a hilarious scene, but it also has a sad foreshadow of Castiel's death.

Cas said confessed his love for the Winchesters as a family, but it was a special and exclusive confession he made to Dean, because the hint of shame and the dropped gaze, it meant more than just a platonic confession.

Dean's reaction is different to the second confession, because he realizes the first one was just for him.

Breaking Walls (Part I)

(12x20/12x21)

Hello my friends! I'm here with another meta from season 12! This time I'll try to resume these two episodes pointing important subtext and foreshadows I found in them.

We/Us vs Only Dean

Resonating with the previous episode, the mixtape one. We will meet Tasha Banes and her son's Alicia and Max. And with them will come the difference between WE/US and I/ME.

First of all, we were fed with Dean Winchester's worries for Castiel.

The scene opens with a close up to Dean's hands. This focus on the hands will continue through the episode, related with my Quantum theory about Dabb's era, it talks about a foreshadow. And because is centered on the knuckles, is a foreshadow of Dean hitting on the door from the Burger Shop after praying to Chuck in 13x01. Linked to his worries for Castiel, opens the door for the incoming mourning for him.

Dean: That freaking baby isn't even born yet and it sock puppeted him. Think about it.

Is very meaningful Dean uses this word PUPPET here, to explain Castiel's odd behavior. But is also related to this episode: a witch killing people and constructing puppets she can command as she wishes. If this sounds particularly known by all of us, is because is a very smart Foreshadow for Chuck appearing in the ending of season 14 and the whole season 15. The puppet master.

This is what makes Dean feel so worried: CAS having faith in Lucifer jr. As Dean calls it. Is not good sign for him. And because he knows what CAS is willing to do when he is in soldier mode, when he has faith in something. He can give everything in exchange. He knows it. And he is worried because CAS is in danger now. And he can't understand how CAS is having faith in that nephilim he was trying to kill hours before. He needs to understand what's going on, Because Castiel's safety is in danger. And Cas' means everything to Dean.

SAM: I don't know. I mean, look, this doesn't make any sense to me either, Dean. But if we wanna have some shot at finding Cas, the we have to...I don’t know. Uh, try and think like him.

DEAN: How? Seriously...

He sounds desperate here. He knows exactly this is the first time he saw CAS like this. Again brainwashed? He is scared. Dean is afraid of losing CAS. He didn't recognize Castiel looking back at him. Because CAS had a new mission now. Cas had determination in his eyes. And the mission comes first.

Then, one phone rings, and is Max and Alicia. And the dialogue here will separate the therms WE from INDIVIDUAL again.

ALICIA: Yeah, sorry to um...Uh, Mary gave me a couple different numbers to reach her, and we thought –

Max loudly interrupts Alicia to make a point that this is not his idea.

MAX: No. No. Mnh-mnh.

Alicia looks exasperated.

ALICIA: I thought Mary would be down to help. Uh, be our backup on this, um...

The parallel with the Barnes brothers here is loud, not just the missing parent in a hunt, but the blatant difference between WE/US vs INDIVIDUAL (Alice and Dean).

Max doesn't want his sister use him as a shield for showing his worries. Just like Dean used Sam in the mixtape scene or when CAS arrived at the bunker.

After Sam accepts to help, Dean turns into worried boyfriend mode...

He is like: 'Come on Sam, didn't you heard all my worries? We have to find CAS! CAS CAS CAS!'

Then we have Dean calling Mary...

His face here is loud. He was thinking about Castiel being in danger since CAS left. I bet you he couldn't sleep neither. And he needs to talk with someone about this. But how he feels about this. Becay Sam ia confused but he keeps doing his job. Dean just can't go on if he can't rescue CAS from the 'evil child'.

The Foreshadows

Before jumping into the symbology of this episode, let's show another example of we/u vs me/I:

ALICIA: Well, then why didn't you call us? I mean we–

MAX: Ahem.

Sam and Dean look slightly uncomfortable.

ALICIA: I called and texted a lot.

TASHA: I'm sorry, baby. My phone hasn't been charging all day.

Is the difference between the amount of worrisome and the effort from the writers to point out that to us. To make it noticeable.

Now, let's go with Mary Winchester: there's this scene in which Mary discovers Mick's corpse and she uncovered his face. Is a sad foreshadow of Dean in episode 13x01 uncovering Castiel's face when he laid dead on the table.

Also the finding of the corpses ina dark place by Dean and Sam, was a foreshadow of dead and the Empty.

Then, Tasha attack Alicia and Max, as a foreshadow of Mary coming against her own boys.

But it caught my attention what Ketch says to Mary:

KETCH: But I can keep you safe. If you just play your part, if you play nice...

In an episode where we are talking about puppets Ketch asks Mary to play her part. And I just recalled the whole season 9 with Metatron and the repetitive quote: Everyone needs to play their role. As an attempt coming from the writer to control the story and the characters. This is very important because is anticipating Chuck's plot in season 15. Mary answers: 'I don't play nice' as a reflection of TFW.

When Alicia dies, the dialogue between Sam, Dean and Max is another example of loosing a brother/family and loosing the love of your life.

SAM: Hey, Max, um, this is, uh... Look, you – you're probably in shock right now, but it's gonna pass.

DEAN: And then it's gonna hurt.

They're talking from their places, they had lost many people in their lives, family. Wich is pointing too what we will be seeing at the beginning of season 13, the big difference with loosing the love of your life, incarnated I'm Dean mourning Castiel.

Eileen's death and Brainwashing

Just a few words about episode 12x21.

Is the episode in which Eileen dies, in a dark Forest. Saileen always had been a Destiel mirror and showed the path for our ship. So when Eileen dies, is talking about the lovers separation through death. Sam uncovering her face in the morgue, again, as a prelude of Dean doing the same with Castiel.

BMoL brainwashing Mary, and using her as a puppet against the boy, is slightly showing how Dean sees what's going on with CAS.

But is also a foreshadow of AUMichael!Dean.

Later in the episode, we have Crowley who was controlling Lucifer's vessel as a puppet too, but something goes wrong this time.

DREXEL: The ability to control is transferring from Crowley to you.

LUCIFER: So you're saying that Crowley's gonna be my puppet.

This could be showing two interesting Foreshadows: first, when AUMichael will take control over Dean's body and kidnap him in episode 13x23, and second, what will happen once Dean will lock Michael down in his head, taking full control of his own body.

Then, another parallel between CAS and Mick. Remember Samadriek saying he has too much heart and that was his problem? Okay...

TONI: Oh, Mick's dead.

SAM: He's dead?

TONI: Quite. It was determined he was too sentimental for the job.

So Mick also had too much heart...

To Conclude:

Dean is a mess of worries for CAS and it shows. He is afraid of loosing him this time for real.

There are foreshadows of Cas' death all over the episodes, preluding the finale.

There's also a lot of references to puppets, for the incoming plot of Chuck and Dean's possesion.

It was a love story from the very beginning

Lovers Separation (Part II)

Hi my friends!!! I bring to you another meta from season 12, this time a very meaningful episode, because it showed another foreshadow of lovers separation. Ugh, and tonight's episode... Like... Okay.

I will start now before crying all over hehehehe.

Gwen and Marcus: a love tragedy

The episode starts with these two lovers, having fun in the woods. But, pay attention to their wardrobe.

Marcus is wearing blue (Castiel) and orange with a tone of beige, just like the trenchcoat. And Gwen is wearing Green (Dean).

They sat quietly to enjoy the evening...

The tent is a mix of green and blue (Destiel) and Castiel mirror seats in a green chair while Dean's mirror seats in the blue. The colors and the scene are pointing at DESTIEL, so, what is about to happen, will be a foreshadow of Destiel tragedy at the end of the season.

Now... The dialogue here:

GWEN: I’ll miss this.

MARCUS: I’ll miss you. And I get it. I mean Washington has the best veterinary program in the country. You got in. I mean, you have to go. But people make this long distance thing work all the time, right?

Dean's mirror is not using the words correctly, Green should say I WILL MISS YOU. But is Marcus (Castiel's mirror) the one who says words correctly. And the long distance lovers is talking about the separation too. Is a blatant Destiel scene.

After this, we have Marcus going for more wood, and Gwen finds the ring in one of his boyfriend's gloves.

This ring represents the bond, but also, it represents like the Locket in the previous episode, the Destiel mixtape. Is a visible sign of their romantic love for each other.

Then, the tragedy, because Marcus (Castiel's mirror) dies.

The words I should say

Dean and Sam arriving to the crime scene, and the mixing dialogues...

[Sam and Dean exit Baby at the crime scene, Sam talking on the phone to Mary, Dean talking to Cas]

DEAN: Oh, really?

SAM: Oh, that's great, Mom. Oh.- No, we're -- we're fine. We, uh...

DEAN: - It sounds like somethin'.

SAM: Yeah. Love you, too.

DEAN: All right, Cas. Let us know.

Why they mixed these two phone calls? Just like the mixing scenes Berens likes to write to show a point, this time, Perez mixes two chats. In which Sam ends the phone call with 'I love you too' to Mary, and Dean with 'All right. Let us know.' So, Sam is foreshadowing Dean's journey into expressing the L word, first to Mary, second to his Dad, third to Sam and the family that is TFW, and last, but truly very meaningful, the I LOVE YOU to Castiel.

Why? Because Cas already said it, but Dean didn't answered I LOVE YOU TOO, those are the words Dean needs to say.

Pay attention now to Gwen's house...

She's dressed in green again, mourning Marcus. The coaches are red and blue, (Destiel again, but red showing Dean's anger after Castiel's death).

She explains she tried to kill the hellhound with an axe. This weapon represents anger too.

And then we have this scene between Crowley and Lucifer:

This represents revenge, and ANGER, and is a foreshadow too for Dean and his crusade to kill Lucifer, saying yes to AUMichael. Because is Lucifer the one who will kill Castiel, and is Lucifer the one that haunts Sam.

But, returning to Gwen, and the words Dean should say... We had the car scene with her and Sam and this dialogue:

GWEN: I... [ Sighs ] I don't think I even know what “okay” means anymore. Marcus… going camping was my idea. I took him out there even though I knew. I knew it was over. I liked Marcus. He was sweet and kind. And he loved me. [inhales deeply] More than I ever loved him. More than… If I'd just told him… If I… Why couldn't I just tell him the truth?

SAM: Gwen...

GWEN: Yeah, but I didn't. [Voice breaking] I lied. I lied to make things easier. I… I'm sorry. I… We should go.

Regrets, the words she didn't say, she loved him. But she lied to herself she didn't to give it an end, but Marcus wanted to be with her. So she regrets to say those words. The same occurs with Dean. Dean couldn't said the L word back to Cas. Why? Because he is not ready, he keeps pushing his feelings down, repressing them. But he will learn how, slowly. Gwen is here Mourning!Dean, just like that widow in 11x15.

Sam lying to Dean vs Cas lying to Dean

We had Dean saying thank you to Crowley because he saved Cas, that meant a lot, the same way Benny saved Castiel in Purgatory, Dean shows gratitude.

At the end of the episode we had Cas lying by the phone to Dean, and Dean suspecting something was wrong.

Castiel hates it, he doesn't like to lie, and mostly to Dean, but Dean feels deep inside something nos off with him.

Now... The scene in which Sam admits he's working with the BMoL caught my attention because Dean forgives him immediately.

DEAN: Well, okay.

SAM: Okay?

DEAN: What do you want me to say? Do I like it? No. Do I trust them? Hell, no. But you're right. We work with people we don't trust all the time. I mean, hell, I just Liam Neeson'd it up with Crowley. So if you wanna give this a shot, then… [ Scoffs ] Fine. But the minute-- and I mean the second-- something feels off, we bail.

SAM: Yeah. Of course. Deal.

The way Dean immediately forgives his brother and the way Dean won't forgive Castiel in 12x19 shows us the difference between FAMILY LOVE and ROMANTIC LOVE. Is because in the first, is family, and in the second, it hurts more because ranting reasons.

To conclude

This episode, just like the previous, talks about separation by death of two lovers. Is the foreshadow of the incoming tragedy at the end of this season.

Shows us too regrets, because Dean didn't said the words he needed to say, but it also starts the L WORD JOURNEY, our hunter will start soon.

The Empty is Coming (Part. I)

Hello my friends! How are you feeling? I'm so nervous I almost forgot I had to write this meta this week hehehehe.

Okay, i will talk here about the foreshadows for the Empty.

Let's start!

The dark forest and the beige coat

This is just like an exercise for us already, but, at the beginning of episode 12x16 we have two brothers walking down a dark forest...

My observation about the dark forest is that it represents the Empty. And obviously, the guy that goes deeper inside the wood and dies is dressed in blue...

Is another foreshadow for Castiel dying and going inside the Empty.

There's another interesting visual elements was the name of the bar from this episode...

The Lucky Badger has green walls and the color red are over the words. Is clearly pointing at Dean.

The symbolism of the badger in different cultures linked it with ANGER and PROTECTIVENESS two characteristics inherent to Dean.

Is also interesting the meaning of the totem: when you dream with badges or a badge gets into your way, it means you need to express you inner hidden feelings. (I mean... Hello Dean, right?)

Okay, let's go with Mick and his beige coat.

Mick represented Castiel in this episode, and his tragic ending was another foreshadow too.

Against the wall again.

Okay, here comes the explanation to this:

Mick behaves just like Cas in episode 12x19. He deceived Dean and Sam to have an opportunity to do the DIRT JOB of killing that girl (bitten by a werewolf). Just like Cas will play with Dean and steal the Colt from Dean. Because Cas will try to do the dirt job to protect the Winchesters and kill the nephilim.

And we all remember what did Dean once he found his angel, right? He just platonically pushed him against the wall and they stared at each other with not sexual tension at all. Hahahahahaaha. Sorry, Destiel is canon now, so, we are saying truth here. Hehehehe.

Okay yes, there's a number 9 over there, and is Castiel, why? Because the number 9 in numerology means the sign of ideals, Universal interest and the spirit of combat for humanitarian purposes. It symbolizes the inner Light, prioritizing ideals and dreams, experienced through emotions and intuition. Hello Cas, right? And is behind Mick, as an affirmation of the Cas mirror.

And then, this dialogue here...

SAM: I mean, werewolves aren't like most monsters. Some can control it. I mean, we – we have a buddy got bit. Nothing but beef hearts ever since.

MICK: And you trust him? Well, killing is a fundamental need for werewolves. And monsters don't just stop being monsters.

DEAN: Well, Garth did.

Mick talks just like earliest Winchester but also, is the idea Cas repeats himself in his head once and once and again to make the dirty job. Like lying to himself because deep inside his true pure and kind feelings will won the battle. And he will became the nephilim father. Oh lord ...

Then Dean says Mick was acting weird the whole day.

The tragedy

Episode 12x17 starts with Mick killing his best friend in their Academy when they were children. Is a foreshadow of his own dead on Ketch's hands. The man he considered his friend. A dagger by the back, and a bullet by the back, betrayal. The same way Cas will die.

In this episode Mick keeps wearing the beige coat.

The BMoL CODE was a parallel to SACRED OATH for angels, and Dr. Hess was representing Heaven's orders, and Mick was Cas here, in rebellion.

So Dr. Hess was asking to kill Eileen... Pay attention bro this dialogue:

Mick: No. My entire life with the Men of Letters, I never broke a rule. And yes, at first I was shocked at how Sam and Dean operate. But what Lady Bevell doesn't mention is the lives they've saved, monsters destroyed, and outcomes made better not because of the Code, but because of Sam and Dean Winchester's sense of what's right.

Dr Hess: And that is the crux of the matter. The Code is not a suggestion. It's an absolute. The Code is what separates us from the monsters. It is the order by which we all live.

What a perfect parallel to the Sacred Oath and Cas invested in Heaven's mission of killing the nephilim. The angel trying to separate themselves from humans.

Well we know how this ended, right?

Also how Eileen ends... Again the parallel between Saileen and Destiel.

I want to point too the fact that Dean started to suspect even more something was wrong, because he kept calling Cas without success.

Cas [voicemail]: This is my voicemail. Make your voice a mail.

Dean [into phone]: Come on, Cass. I've called you three times now. Will you call me back? We've got a line on Dagon. We need your help.

Dean is mad but also very worried. And this will climb even more in the incoming episodes

To conclude:

The dark forest and Mick behavior and tragedy were a foreshadow for the Memory and Castiel's death.

It also showed the inner fight Castiel was having inside between doing what Heaven was commanding and his true feeling about killing an innocent.

The numbers was a perfect visual Narrative that gives us the hopes of Castiel's return.

It was a love story from the very beginning

Lovers Separation (Part I)

(12x13/12x14)

Hello my dears! I should add by death in the title, but according to the actual events in the show... I'm too emotional hehehee.

I will talk here about the amount of clues and foreshadow the writers were spreading all over the episodes, in which we will see Castiel's death and Dean's mourning for him.

The ship is gonna wreck

First picture we get is a woman dressed in blue pijamas, that dies. Another blue dressed victim that dies as a foreshadow of Castiel's death.

This episode talks about The Star, the ship that wrecked and sinked. And in the meantime, two lovers were separated by special circumstances.

The tragic love story is about Gavin McLoad and Fiona Duncan. They were destined to be together for the eternity once the ship sunk, but Gavin didn't board that ship, because Abaddon stopped him and dragged him to our times. So, Fiona became an avengeful ghost, pining for her lost love. Is a representation of the Destiel tragedy we will live at the end of the season.

The Locket and The Mixtape

The Locket was a gift Gavin gave to Fiona as a proof of his love.

GAVIN: I bought it myself. It was a gift for my Fiona.

ROWENA: Darlin', you had a wee girlfriend?

DEAN: Look at this. Added to the exhibit six months ago.

GAVIN: Fiona Duncan, the love of my life. When she found out I was going to America, nothing would do but I take her with me. I told her it was too dangerous.

Fiona would follow Gavin to the end of the world, just like Cas always manifest to Dean.

That gift, the Locket, was Gavin's way to say I LOVE YOU to Fiona, to give a tangible representation to their union, a commitment. To show her how much she meant to him. Is the perfect parallel for the Destiel mixtape. Because it was Dean's way to show Cas how important he is for him. Important not in a platonic way, because the meaning of the mixtape. When Gavin says 'I bought it myself' is remarking the intimate dedication he took by doing it, because the first was for the love of his life. Is the same with the mixtape, because DEAN MADE THE MIXTAPE HIMSELF THINKING ABOUT CAS. The intimacy of taking his time to choose the perfect songs that could apply to his feelings, to show Cas He loved him too. As a shy, not so committed answer, to that 'I love you' Cas said to him.

Living with the doubt if Cas had said those words platonically or not, Dean Winchester is not prepared yet to answer with his own words, so, he makes a mixtape for the love of his life.

The Separation and the Reunion

There's a scene with two teachers, Karen and

Elizabeth, drinking wine and having a good time inside the Pembroke School for Girls.

Elizabeth stands up and go inside a dark room searching for wine, leaving Karen behind. The dark room represents the Empty, and Elizabeth is Castiel, and she got stabbed in the back, just like our Angel.

Now, there's another beautiful scene, in wich Gavin calls Fiona through his words, reminding us to a prayer.

GAVIN: "O restless spirit, make thy presence known to me. Fiona? It is I, Gavin. Your Gavin. I must speak with you.

After this, Fiona makes her appearance, and finally, the lovers found each other and remained together to the end of times.

GAVIN: I...was thinking the same thing. I loved her. She loved me. That's the only reason any of this happened. I can spare her the nightmare she's trapped in. I cannae say I ever fit here. Here, I'm alone. Fiona and me, we'll spend eternity together.

What a perfect Castiel mirror in these last words, Cas said this season he still felt put of place. The last quote 'we'll spend eternity together' just gives me clues about my spec for a Destiel endgame, sharing vessel.

The Raid: about Dean's improvement and Sam future leadership

Just a few words about episode 12x14. Putting to a side the mommy issues, the episode divided the brothers joining them with their destinies.

Ketch, the killer, tried to bond with Dean, considering Dean was a killer too. But the difference between them was Dean's compassion.

Sam, Mick and Mary were trapped on the BMoL building, and were attacked by vampires, and Sam was the leader, giving orders and organizing the hunter and the MoL. As a foreshadow of the incoming battle between american hunter's and BMoL, and as a prelude of his role as a leader in season 14.

The image of monsters trying to hunt hunter's, is a futurist picture of AUMichael releasing his monsters army against humans in season 14.

To Conclude:

Gavin and Fiona love story is a Destiel mirror. The symbolism of the wrecked and sunken ship is another prelude to the lovers separation by death.

Hopefully, the lovers found each other at the end, to be together for the eternity.

A theory about how it was written as romantic from the very beginning.

Hi my friends! It looks like my heart was subconsciously preparing myself to this… I started to rewatch Supernatural again with my husband (for the 4th time oh… I guess is my 6th time now��� 🤣🤣) And weeks ago I’ve decided I would write Destiel metas from season 4 and the following seasons because I strongly believe CAS and Dean relationship was written romantically from the very beginning. And I’ve collected proves and notes and with my friend @agusvedder (my gif artist provider 😍💕💕) I will present to you this project. Idk how many metas woul be, I’m about to finish the first and I have the second on notes…

Then we heard this sad news from the SPN crew and I was just like… Is like I knew it .. well kind of… So… What a better way to say goodbye that writing this marathon of Destiel Metas from their first encounter???

Hi my beautiful friends, I will talk in this meta about the episode in which Case confessed his love. Did he? Or didn't he? Heheh let's see.

Dean Jealous and his contra-macho cool friend reaction

Oh yes, I'm gonna talk about that scene. I saw so many memes because Dean's dimples of discontent were loud. So get this...

MANDY: And how ‘bout you, handsome?

Dean's face here can't be taken by other thing than JEALOUSY, he is not amused with that girl throwing heart eyes to Cas. And he shows his dimples of discontent. Not amused at all. So, he post-reaction to this, with his mom on the table and that tough hunter too, he does what society waits for a friend to do when a girl is showing signs of flirtation to one of his friends...

But he overreacts and says a couple of silly things. One of them, Sam won't let go easily.

This is the lie, because Dean doesn't want to teach Cas to conquer women. But he has to pretend he does. Because he wants to show the supportive friend he is. 'We've been looking for teachable moments' like 'We?' Sam and him? Sammy doesn't look as if he was waiting for this moment, besides, he knows what Dean feels for Cas, so... Dean is almost reaching the ridiculous line in here. Trying so hard to sound one thing, he is not.

Look at this...

SAM: The internet here sucks. I downloaded all the bunker’s files to a new archive, but we’re not getting any signal, so I’m j–

DEAN: [makes snoring noises and pretends to sleep] Nobody cares. Cas, here’s the thing you need to know about waitresses, okay? They get hit on all day long, so you gotta bring your A game. But, upside? [clicks tongue] They always smell like food.

WALLY: [nodding along with Dean, then pointing at him] They always smell like food.

First: Sam immediately changed the subject dragging them to the case and a difficulty he is having to get more info, and Dean! Dean just cut him off! He just can't let a waitress hitting on Cas' alone! Because is VERY IMPORTANT to him, to pretend he is helping him, because he is the waitress experienced friend, and try to low Castiel's expections into venture to do that!

Because... He says 'They always smell like food!" As if that were something sexy!

And Wally is just affirming that premise, and then Sam... Because he was interrupted by his brother's fake show, and because he knows what's the behind the scenes, he engages revengeful ...

SAM: Is that really an upside? They smell like food?

MARY: Okay– okay...

DEAN: Right? It’s great.

SAM: Why would you want them to smell like food?

Dean can't lie to Sam, because Sam knows the truth, he knows Dean is trying to kill every interest Castiel could ever have in hook up with any waitress in the world. Because he is jealous! And I believe Mary noticed that too, and just scolded their boys. Hehehe.

Okay, leaving to a side that his face is out of control, because he really thinks Cas is devastating handsome, he keeps with the cool friend that helps his friend, and the only one believing that story in that table is Wally, because he didn't live the Destiel drama. Dean is pretending like a good, because Wally is there. But Sam know, Mary knows, and even Cas knows.

Dean is like 'I helped you, buddy, did you like that? I'm a cool friend.' and Cas is like 'Do you really want me to date this female, Dean?' just because the poor guy put so many effort on that. Geez. Dean is a mess... Heheheh.

I Love You

I will try to focus the meta in the 'I love you' scene, because before that, we have a very distressed Dean Winchester trying to save his angel. Dean is nervous, and in denying. Because his head can't process the fact of loosing Castiel for ever. He can't handle that lost, that's why he denies it.

Now, let's go to the famous scene. Did Cas said I Love You to Dean?

If you rewatch the scene, previous to this confession, Castiel is looking at Dean straight in the eyes, then he drops his gaze and says these words, with a hint of shame.

But Dean's reaction can only been explained as someone who's hearing his best friend saying goodbye and giving up. And also, because in english language, this I LOVE YOU, could be sayed to a singular person of more than one. So, Dean thinks this I Love You was for them (Dean, Sam and Mary) that's why that face, is a face that says : ' Come one man, don't say it, you won't die, this is not the goodbye.'

I know a lot of people thinks Dean's reaction is because he wasn't prepared to receive a love confession, but I don't really think that. He is not prepared to say it. And in this take, he thinks this goodbye confession if for all the Winchesters in that room. Why do I think this? Because his reaction is very different when he sees Cas saying this to Sam and Mary.

Cas averts his eyes to Sam and Mary and Dean's face is of realization here.

He realizes the first I LOVE YOU was for him.

Why would Cas make that difference? Because the meaning are different. Even when he previously confess they are his family, he chooses to look at Dean first a confess one exclusive I love you for him.

Is platonic? Is romantic?

I truly believe is romantic, because there was shame in Cas' face, and he dropped his eyes before saying it. And I think Dean knew this deep inside.

But it could be taken otherwise, that's why it stays like a grey zone between them.

When Crowley comes and saves Castiel, Dean's face of relief is priceless, and there's this little finger touch Cas made over Dean's hand before left his hand go. They were close to be separated, what they don't know is, this is a foreshadow of Castiel's real death at the endo of the season, but also, Dean saying: "Let's go home" is foreshadowing too his own words in episode 13x06, when Castiel comes back to him.

To Conclude:

Episode 12x12 has Jealous!Dean, inside a hilarious scene, but it also has a sad foreshadow of Castiel's death.

Cas said confessed his love for the Winchesters as a family, but it was a special and exclusive confession he made to Dean, because the hint of shame and the dropped gaze, it meant more than just a platonic confession.

Dean's reaction is different to the second confession, because he realizes the first one was just for him.
