What's happening with your "when hunger calls" project???

Oh, that XDDDDD That was on of the projects I had in mind when the lockdown started. I drew 1 or 2 pages in traditional but nothing else. It's part of one of those projects from my first days as vore artist that I'll never complete, mainly due personal reasons.

Besides that, I've already worked on 2 comics with Daniel (The same pred I was going to use on "When The Hunger Calls"), for VoreDay 2021 and Vore 2022. But due the performance on that last one, I won't work on personal projects or pics with Daniel for a while (Unless it's about commissions).

So yeah, in a nutshell, "When The Hunger Calls" it's a cancelled project that I won't resume e_e

escape the ri--verse story! bc tbh the canon collab sucks ass and im more than happy to make something decent chaotic and ridiculous in its place

-the story starts with mashu and cleone, the latter who notices the former is looking down, and when asking her finds mashu sadly remembering/regretting the departed dr roman, after the two saw a follow up to one of the late doctor’s well liked movies. wanting to cheer up her cute kouhai, and also missing her father in law as well, cleone resolves to try something using a grail

-that something is cleone tries to take them to the “mcu” after seeing it work in the movie, with the hope that they can find someone there who can help them contact dr r. however, this “mcu” that appears stands for “multiversal chaldean unknowns” and has nothing to do with a comic franchise. well, mostly.

-instead, strangers begin to be drawn into the proximity of guda and the others, who as it turns out, are being sucked into the riyoverse, which will change their characters/personalities to marketable and bland/offensive stereotypes. these “mcu” characters are also pulled in and affected, including the vore musical trio (halloween 2021), great days’ michelle and abby sensei (gw 2020), hamlet (gw 2019), and the idolgers (gw 2021). cleone, however, is focusing on mashu first and foremost, but to her shock and surprise, bunyan has joined with the riyoverse in order to reunite with her friends, rider and assassin. holmes is being held hostage by the riyoverse, and whereas bunyan reassures that he won’t be hurt just as she says so he is riyofied and promptly turned into a card, which is basically dying, to the horror of both cleone and bunyan.

-cleone storms off with mashu and the others, leaving the “mcu” characters and bunyan to themselves. shocked and grieving, cleone wants to give up, but mashu and robin decide not to give up. bunyan blames herself and is overcome with guilt, but to her surprise her lost friends appear before her to encourage her to try again. the “mcu” characters, especially the idolgers and allegro, comfort a pre-aime tachi aime, who is grieving, shocked, lonely, and skittish and has no confidence.

-mashu and robin take a stand to restore their world, robin knowing full well if he gets riyofied he probably wont be coming back. to their surprise bunyan joins them to save holmes and the others, and admits shes giving up her chance to be with her two closest friends, but that she wont sacrifice her family in chaldea for anyone either. cleone arrives at the last minute to cheer on bunyan (berserker bunyan that is), and robin gives rabbit!bunyan a boost to rescue the cards.

-allegro realizes when he and the others return, some of them will eventually (soon eventually) cease to be, and in shock and horror he is not sure what to do. but seeing aime, who he has befriended, he and anda have an idea, which is agreed upon by all 18 allegros. they all combine with allegro, and he seals himself, with all of their hearts, in “melodic feathers”, the staff that aime is to inherit. with the encouragement of allegro and his counterparts, aime is able to stand up for herself and use meloFe to heal the servants and others (like mokou) who were turned into cards. mokou and anda get one last goodbye, and mokou vows that someday the idolgers will meet again. however, aime will forget her memories of what happened when she returns to her world, as a sacrifice for the power she used.

-lieven and jaeger vow to continue their quest, but with their search being a side note to their own happiness, and they vow to keep in touch with the others. the vmt leave together, a little weirded out but still encouraged. hamlet and sweeney have also reconciled, and though the revengers are no more they have restored a mutual respect for each other. michelle and hamlet are getting along somewhat well also, and abby sensei leaves with vee. when asked if they want to leave, robin and bunyan both decline, saying they want to stay, if chaldea will have him (in robin’s case) and if chaldea will forgive her (in bunyan’s.) to bunyan’s surprise cleone hugs her, relieved she’s back safely, and holmes affectionately ruffles her hair, saying he always knew shed pull through, and was counting on this the whole time.

-the final scene is the squad, plus holmes and bunyan and robin, watching the spiderman movies and eating pizza. robin gets spooked by the jumpscare and knocks over the popcorn, and some lands on the floor, next to a sketch of the squad with dr r, and possibly with rider and assassin too.
