Dating Headcanons

Characters featured: Neopolitan and Pyrrha Nikos from RWBY

꒰ Neopolitan ꒱

Since she’s mute, Neo will either write what she wants to say on a small notebook or will use sign language. It comes down to whether or not you’re willing to learn sign language. Though if you were close friends beforehand, chances are you’d already know a good amount of sign language!

Expect there to be a lot more teasing now that you’re dating. When I say teasing, I mean the stray hand wrapping around your waist, the lingering kisses on your cheek, etc. Whenever she does that, she’d glance to your eyes and feign an innocent expression. She could also smugly keep eye contact with you as she continues with her wandering feather-light touches.

Ice cream. Neo tends to get some ice cream at least once every week. If not, then once every two weeks. With that out of the way, she often takes you along to enjoy the cold treat with you. These outings are what she likes to call, or rather sign, a date. It’s a sweet gesture but one can only assume how she doesn’t get tired of having it every week…

She doesn’t really have any pet names for you. However, she does like to refer to you as her partner in crime (often accompanied by a wink your way)! She doesn’t mind what kind of pet name you give to her but ‘cupcake’ seems to have stuck with her. Just don’t call her ‘shortcake’ though, she gets offended by it.

It’s so obvious that you’re dating to the point where no one has to ask. They just know. After all, actions speak louder than words right? If someone oblivious does ask though, Roman gives them the look that says ‘Yes, why did you even bother asking?’

Speaking about Roman, he’s sort of a… protective father figure to Neo. If you haven’t met him beforehand, aka you’re an entirely new person Neo has never told him about, he’ll be skeptical of you. It’ll take some time to gain his trust but as long as you treat Neo nicely, he’ll start liking you too (platonically of course). If you’ve known Neo for a long time before dating, he’s most likely already given you the thumbs up. Hell, he was probably your wingman too!

She doesn’t bring you on her dust heists due to the dangers of having you associated with her. She’ll leave a note about it if she never gets the chance to tell you sometime before it. When she comes back, she’ll usually want to have a cuddle session with you where she practically melts against you. It’s adorable to see her all tired and cuddled up against you!

꒰ Pyrrha Nikos ꒱

Although confident in her fighting skills, Pyrrha is a bit shy when it comes to dating as she’s never dated anyone before. She’s very formal at the start of the relationship but after you give her some reassurance, she’ll eventually be casual with you. She doesn’t want to let you down after all!

She enjoys taking a stroll with you occasionally, whether that be in the city, the school grounds or somewhere else. These walks aren’t extravagant so she finds them to be the perfect date with you. You’d sometimes have a picnic if the weather’s nice too!

Combat training! Pyrrha would offer to spar or train you if you’re not confident in your fighting skills! She won’t force you but if you’re down, she’ll give you lots of pointers on how to improve. She may start off easy on you but don’t expect that to last long when you gain more experience.

She’s pretty casual with using pet names. It isn’t embarrassing for her to call you something like ‘Sweetie’ out in public, so you better get used to it quickly! It’s the same vice versa—she wouldn’t mind any nickname you give her since she finds the gesture very touching.

Word spreads fast about you two dating. Lots of people make it a big deal since you’re dating the Pyrrha, but she stands up to them and tells them to stop as politely as she can. If they’re still being annoying, your friends in Team JNPR and Team RWBY will help out. (Both of you are glad to have such good friends :>)

Dating Headcanons

Content: No spoilers here! Just some fluffy hcs of the girls ^^

꒰ Weiss Schnee ꒱

Due to her strict and lonely upbringing, Weiss is somewhat touch-starved. She tries not to show it but you can definitely tell from how clingy she can get. It’s best to hold her hand or talk to her during these moments.

She tends to spoil you sometimes but she does try to hold back! Being raised rich led her to believe that gifting expensive things was required in a relationship. You have to calm her down before she spends nearly all of her savings—after all, she should use some of that money on herself too!

Your usual dates consist of going to a restaurant or a local café. If you can’t make time for either, you usually study together. The quiet atmosphere and the fact that you’re near each other makes for a relaxing study time.

Weiss isn’t against using pet names, but she opts to use them when you’re alone. Her reaction to being called one of them in public is cute though! She gets flustered and averts her eyes, mumbling “Don’t call me that…”, but she means well.

You two don’t tell many people that you’re dating, due to Weiss being the next heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. That being said, her father is kept in the dark about you two dating. You both agreed that it’s best to keep it that way as not to escalate her strained relationship with him further.

꒰ Blake Belladonna ꒱

Introverted as she is, Blake doesn’t vocally express her affections for you. Instead, she shows it through her actions—be it her taking your hand into her own, the occasional loving gaze thrown your way, listening intently on whatever you’re telling her, etc!

The most common date area you go to is the library! It has a warm, comforting atmosphere that’s perfect for some peaceful reading time together. Sometimes you two would take turns quietly reading the same book. It makes for a fun way to pass the time! (The librarian finds you two to be a really cute couple hehe.)

Blake will use pet names for you but she’ll only stay with one or two. She gets slightly bashful when you use one for the first time, though she’d whisper a quick ‘thank you’ with a small smile right after. The times that she does use one is when she’s teasing you, such as joking around with her and her playfully replying back “Okay, good-looking.” with a fake eye-roll.

None of you make it a huge deal that you’re dating. In fact, only the people close to both of you know. If someone asks, Blake would either nod and say ‘yes’ or stay silent. It really just depends on who’s asking and whether she feels comfortable sharing it at the moment.

She lets you touch her cat ears! Well she only lets you do it in private, since she’s a bit shy about it, but still! They’re soft to the touch and it eases her. Of course, it can hurt for her if you’re too rough so you stick to gently gliding your hands over them.

Featuring: Baizhu x Reader x Pantalone (not poly, more like sharing lol)

Extra: Please do not follow me for Genshin stuff! This is purely out of self-indulgence since I don’t play the game but like the characters. Other than that, enjoy some content of the sussy long-haired, glass-wearing men :)

Though they’ve agreed to share, the men still have their doubts about one another. Both are cunning in their own way—leading to an insufferable rivalry between the two.

Pantalone is a very materialistic man, so expect him to make extravagant purchases for you. You try to tell him to tone it down, but he insists on giving you them because, "The most priceless of all deserves only the finest of trinkets."

The Harbinger isn’t against renting out a whole place just for a date. If you’ve mentioned what your favourite flower is, he’d rent out a large garden growing those flowers. If you’ve also said something about your favourite food, he’d find the most highly rated restaurant that serves it. It’s actually a really sweet gesture as it shows you how much attention he pays to you.

Due to his fragile condition, people have been afraid of accidentally injuring Baizhu. This has led to him being somewhat touch-starved and craving at least some form of contact with you. He doesn’t like to show it, but he will hold your hand at any given opportunity (so long as you’re fine with it).

The Pharmacist isn’t that showy compared to Pantalone. The former enjoys going on walks with you since it helps him to relax. Sometimes you’d even gather herbs alongside him to lessen his workload. He appreciates every bit of help you can give him, even if it isn’t a lot. These small acts of kindness are what solidifies his love for you and makes him glad to be with you.

Great dealers have their way with words, which makes the duo that much more dangerous for your heart. They know you can’t deny their affections once they start using such sweet words, they’re not oblivious. Thus they’ll use it at every chance they can take, whether it be to whisk you away from the other, to convince you on another date, etc.

It’s even worse (for you anyways) when they start using pet names for you. ‘Darling’ and ‘Love’ seem to be the ones they like the most so you better get used to them! Coupled with some tempting words, they leave you flustered enough to give in to their ‘deals’ (they’re just dates btw).

If they both decide to take you on a date, they’ll definitely be trying to one up the other. Oh, you’ve been eyeing that one scarf for a while? Pantalone will secretly buy and gift it to you later, all the while sending a mocking smile at Baizhu. Did you want a certain flower? Baizhu will use his Dendro Vision to seek out a shop that sells a bouquet of them, keeping eye contact with Pantalone as he escorts you there.

The two have their… flaws when it comes to working together but all in all, they work really well as a duo. Sure they’re kind of competitive, but it makes it all the more fun! (In your opinion—they think the exact opposite though.)
