"I can hear you whining," she says and tugs at his rumpled sleeve, pulling him nearer.

"M'not," he grumps. "Not intentionally."

Vic lifts both hands to his face, pulling him closer and angling his head down. He’s been grunting and grumbling over the beginning of a migraine all afternoon and she can’t stand doing nothing to help. As his hands cage the outsides of her thighs she matches his symmetry, her fingers stroking his temples instead. He swings closer, exhaling hard as she rubs against obvious pain.

He presses in, the weight of his head in her hands. “Thanks, Vic.”

In Longmire, when Walt is threatening talking to a guy threatening Vic and compares himself and Vic to Achilles and Patroclus, saying like "Achilles's friend died, so he killed the man who did it and dragged his body around the city." I'm too bisexual for that shit oh my GOD Walt, Achilles """friend""" Patroclus??? Just admit you're in love with her

I think there’s a subtle Walt and Vic moment in s1 that most people didn’t point out. Idk im in new this fandom. ....And I forgot how it went on what I was really thinking of. 

The moment some time in s1 when Walt was really upset about Lizzie asking him out on a date or something like that. He felt pressured, rushed, and guilty. (It was after the scene he told Vic he felt guilt for going out a date with Lizzie.) 

He got upset with Vic because before she kept hinting about Lizzie wanting to date/flirting with him. But Vic was shaking her head no. She didn’t do anything to whatever Walt was upset about. I think it was Branch who did it..that was whatever made Walt upset at the time. I don’t remember it well.

 But I just find that moment in their work office to be Walt & Vic ~moment. Even though, it’s not romantic moment between them. I find it to show how much they respect each other. Vic didn’t do whatever that Walt got upset about because she just stopped pushing the whole go on a date with Lizzie thing days(?) ago. Idk I just find that moment to be one of those special moments to see how much Vic respects and cares of Walt.

It's not like he doesn't know what day it is - like they haven't purposely ignored the date, the day, the calendar itself. 

One year previous and they were in the same position, his fingers brushing her hair back from a tear dampened cheek. Now the tears are vacant, her pretty eyes dry. 

Instead of crying she's picking at a frayed spot in his favorite jeans. "Year later and it feels the same." 

He knows it's useless to remind her grief has no expiration date. 

So he brushes her hair behind her ear instead. 

She would have made an exemplary mother.
