This P-47 (s/n 42-29300) flown by Lt Edwin L. King (pic 2: standing on wing) of 347th FS / 350th FG of the 12th Air Force  returned with zero visibly after flak damage caused an oil leak that completely covered his canopy obscuring his vision.
