Ask me Anything!
Dear reichblr, the box of the questions is open. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! Could be related to the Third Reich, to Fascist Italy (if you want to know more about it) or even some fun facts about me!
Like, for example, what do you like/hate about a certain historical figure of the Third Reich? Do you have any questions regarding a particular historical figure of Fascist Italy?

A Reminder of how the United States (US) committed Genocide in the Philippines back in the early 1900s wherein they eventually killed hundreds of thousands of Filipinos. Incidents like these are largely forgotten due to the Propaganda Efforts of the US and their Filipino Collaborator Doggies, especially under this Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM)

An Ethiopian resistance fighter photographed in 1941. Patriotic resistance persisted throughout the occupation despite Ethiopia's military collapse in 1935–1936 after the Second Italo-Ethiopian war. From the beginning, many patriotic Ethiopians were committed to carrying on the fight, despite the military might of the occupying Italians. The struggle continued for another three years until most of Ethiopia was "pacified" just before the outbreak of the Second World War. However, the Arbegnoch (Ethiopian guerrillas) were still in control of nearly a quarter of the Ethiopian highlands through late 1939. By the eve of World War II, they were still in control of Harar and the Galla-Sidamo Governorate and remained active in Italian East Africa from 1936 until 1941. In 1941, during World War II, Ethiopia was occupied by Allied forces, mainly from the British Empire, in the East African Campaign, but an Italian guerrilla war continued until 1943. The country was placed under British military administration; Emperor Haile Selassie was allowed to return and claim his throne, but the British authorities ruled the country until December 1944, when full sovereignty was restored with the signing of an Anglo-Ethiopian Agreement, although some regions remained under British control for more years. #secondworldwar #ww2 #worldwartwo #worldwar2 #war #history #militaryhistory #military #colourised #colorized #colourisedhistory #colorizedhistory #color #colour #colorizedhistoricalphotos #colorization #colourisation #retro #goodolddays #classic #goldenoldies #colorizedphoto #colourisedphoto #ethiopia #resistance #africa https://www.instagram.com/p/CmFLNzXKNxf/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Since its inception during the Civil War, 25 Medals of Honor have been awarded to U.S. Army soldiers of Native American descent. The first soldier of Sioux Nation heritage to receive America’s highest military honor was Master Sergeant Woodrow W. Keeble, a combat veteran of World War Two and the Korean War who earned the Medal of Honor for actions on 20 October 1951. During WWII, Keeble was attached to the 164th Infantry Regiment when it became the first Army unit sent to reinforce the Marine Corps’ defense of Henderson Field on Guadalcanal, earning repute for his skill with a Browning Automatic Rifle. Keeble fought his way through the Pacific Theater’s island-hopping campaign along with the rest of the 164th and was discharged in 1946. Keeble’s retirement was short-lived however – in 1951, Keeble rejoined the fight as part of the 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division in Korea. As a platoon leader during Operation Nomad-Polar, the final major U.N. offensive of the war, Keeble distinguished himself during an assault against Chinese positions on Hill 765. As his platoon’s advance ground to a halt under withering fire on the steep hillside terrain, Keeble drove forward in a harrowing one-man attack. Although he was being showered with grenades and machine gun fire Keeble pressed forward, destroying three enemy machine gun nests and flooding enemy trenches with automatic fire. Buoyed by their sergeant’s valor, the men of Keeble’s platoon rallied to his aid, securing the hilltop and completing their mission. Keeble was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross in 1952, upgraded to the Medal of Honor in 2008. He also earned two Silver Stars, two Bronze Stars, and four Purple Hearts across his Army career. #Armyhistory #USArmy #TRADOC #MilitaryHistory #WWII #KoreanWar #MOH #WorldWarTwo #WW2 #WW2History #Sioux #MedalOfHonor Posted @withrepost • @armyhistory #nativeamericanheritagemonth (at Spring Hill, Tennessee) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClL9DivuaZN/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

AMERICAN SOLDIERS IN CHERBOURG, NORMANDY 🇺🇸 ▪️American soldiers of the 79th Infantry Division observing discarded equipment left by German prisoners in the street of Cherbourg, Normandy. Cherbourg was one of the only deep water ports located in Normandy and it was very strategic to secure it as quickly as possible after the American forces landed on Utah-Beach. Located only 35 miles from Utah Beach, it took a long battle of 20 days to finally reach and secure the port. The 79th Infantry Division lost many brave men during these first few weeks of combat. We should never forget the ones that gave their lives for us 🥀 ——————————————- ▪️Follow us on instagram: ⬇️ https://www.instagram.com/ww2veteransmemories/ ▪️Watch our videos on youtube:⬇️ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2HvgkY9MONCf4k-1-xBPow ——————————————— #ww2 #wwii #worldwar2 #worldwartwo #usarmy #infantry #dday #ww2pictures #ww2pics #cherbourg #normandy #79thinfantrydivision #ww2 #history #ww2buff #wwii #army #dday #overlord (at Cherbourg France) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdoEI_TIdrt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The 105 days of battle of the Winter War ended on 13 March 1940 in a peace treaty signed in Moscow the previous night.
On most fronts, peace had come just in the nick of time. Now the heavy price of this peace was just starting to dawn on the exhausted Finnish population. Bitterness and resentment would remain.
One Soviet soldier asked a comrade with Finnish roots: ‘Tell me honestly, what kind of a character do the Finns possess? … They say the Finns are mean.’ His comrade replied: ‘They are not mean, they just really hold a grudge. They remember who has done them harm in the past. God forgives, the Finns do not.’
This statement would prove to be somewhat prophetic, as less that a year later the two nations would again find themselves at war.
A Finnish ski patrol passing a Soviet OT-130 flamethrower tank at Ruhtinaanmäki on 21 January 1940. •••••••• Talvisodan 105 päivää kestäneet taistelut päättyivät 13.3.1940 edellisenä yönä Moskovassa solmittuun rauhansopimukseen.
Useimmilla rintamilla rauha tuli aivan viime tingassa. Nyt rauhan raskas hinta alkoi sarastaa uupuneissa suomalaisissa. Katkeruus ja kauna jäivät.
Eräs puna-armeijan sotilas kysyi suomalaisjuuria omaavalta toveriltaan: "Kerropa, millainen on suomalaisten luonne?… Sanotaan että suomalaiset ovat häijyjä." Toveri vastasi: "Eivät he ole häijyjä, he vain kantavat totisesti kaunaa. He muistavat, ketkä aiemmin ovat heitä rikkoneet. Jumala antaa anteeksi, suomalaiset eivät."
Toteamus osoittautui jokseenkin profeetalliseksi, sillä runsaassa vuodessa maat olivat jälleen sodassa keskenään.

Reinhard Heydrich
Reinhard Tristan Eugen Heydrich (1904-1942) was one of the most powerful and dangerous men in Hitler's Circle. Leader of the RSHA (Reichssicherheitshauptamt)
QUOTES ON HEYDRICH:
Heydrich was anything but a solid personality. Behind the menacing stature in his only seemingly steadfast and imperturbable inhumanity lay an easily excitable nervous temperament that knew its secret torments and was constantly assailed by anguish, bitterness, and self-hatred. […] Reinhard Eugen Heydrich was marked by an indelible mark that made him suffer the pains of hell: he had Jewish ancestors.
In him intellectual abilities were accompanied by somatic features, so that he could appear to be the confirmation of the theory of the "close relationship between psyche and race." the anticipation of the new type of man who was to be distilled from the murky biological material of the German people through "a series of forced crosses" and bred in special schools; "the type of man," as Hitler declared, "master of life and death, who commands over fear and superstition, who has learned to master his body, his muscles and his nerves . … but who is not overcome by the temptations of the spirit and a self-styled scientific freedom."
Walther Schellenberg described his boss as a born schemer with "an incredibly honed perception to the moral, human, professional and political weaknesses of others…. His uncommon intelligence went hand in hand with the ever-vigilant instincts of the predator…. He was enormously ambitious. It was as if, in a pack of ferocious wolves, he always had to prove to himself that he was the strongest, the best suited to take command."
Wilhelm Hoettl, another member of the Nazi security services, recalled Heydrich as a man completely devoid of a moral code: "Truth and goodness had no intrinsic value for him, they were mere tools for gaining more and more power…. Even politics … was merely a stepping stone for the conquest and management of his own personal supremacy. It seemed futile to him to argue with himself about the propriety of his actions, therefore, he never did so."

Taken by the German photographer Willi George in the summer of 1941, one of his unauthorised series of photographs that shows life in the Warsaw Ghetto. The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest of the Nazi ghettos during World War II and the Holocaust. It was established in November 1940 by the German authorities within the new General Government territory of occupied Poland. At its height, as many as 460,000 Jews were imprisoned there, in an area of 3.4 km2, with an average of 9.2 persons per room, and forced to survive on meagre food rations. From the Warsaw Ghetto, Jews were deported to Nazi concentration camps and mass-killing centres. In the summer of 1942, at least 254,000 ghetto residents were sent to the Treblinka extermination camp. The ghetto was demolished by the Germans in May 1943 after the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising had temporarily halted the deportations. The total death toll among the prisoners of the ghetto is estimated to be at least 300,000 killed by bullet or gas, combined with 92,000 victims of starvation and related diseases, the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and the casualties of the final destruction of the ghetto. #secondworldwar #ww2 #worldwartwo #worldwar2 #war #history #militaryhistory #military #colourised #colorized #colourisedhistory #colorizedhistory #color #colour #colorizedhistoricalphotos #colorization #colourisation #retro #colorizedphoto #colourisedphoto #holocaust #shoah #jewish #jewishghetto #judaism https://www.instagram.com/p/Cnal_n4qEHZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
