Longstar AU - Prologue

How could.. how could I have—

     “Longtail,” Tigerclaw beckoned the tan tabby tom toward him, his amber eyes piercing his fur. “One of my closest friends.. you would come with me, of course.”

     “I—“ Longtail murmured, flattening his large ears tight to his head. He stared back at the brown tabby, holding his amber gaze with his white green one. “No.”

     “No?” Tigerclaw growled, “Fine. Live the rest of your sad life with this no-loyalty fox-hearts. You are one of them.”

     “You're wrong, Tigerclaw,” Longtail hissed, his eyes narrowing. He sat down in the sand, curling his long tail round his paws calmly. “I will always be loyal to ThunderClan. We will always be loyal to each other. You are the no-loyalty fox-heart. Trying to kill your own leader,” Longtail rose to his paws once more, turning into the crowd. “Now run-along the mouse-heart you’ve shown to be.”

     He took in a deep breath. It felt.. good, to say that. For a while, he'd been thinking it. Especially since he'd tried to drown another of their clan-mates. And, of course, his loyalty to ThunderClan was most important to him.

     After a few moments, Tigerclaw skidded out of the camp. Longtail gazed up at the High Rock, Bluestar sitting atop of it, looking shaken and broken down. His ears flattened again, had Tigerclaw seriously gotten to their leader so much? And how would that effect them?

     “I-I must,” Bluestar croaked out, her paws teetering a bit. “Name a new deputy. I-I could.. think of no other cat. The cat who saved us from our previous deputy,” Her blue eyes rested softly on Fireheart, who took a few pawsteps forward. “Fireheart will be the new deputy of ThunderClan.”

     .. Fireheart? Longtail gazed at the orange tabby tom, whom dipped his head to his leader. I.. guess it’s fair. He did get Tigerclaw out of here, He took in a steady breathe. Maybe it would be good, even. He’s reasonable, annoyingly kind.

     Whatever happened from here, he knew it would be better. ThunderClan was safer now, and he knew that his loyalty to his clan, and his family, would remain unwavering.

Another Warrior Cats rarepair comic: PrincessXDustpelt <3

The more I think about them the more bummed I am it did not happen in canon. A grumpy character with a more naive and sweet one is already cute but extra layer of comedy when its making a former bully awkward in-laws with our poor protagonist. Also step-dad Dustpelt and Cloudkit interactions are funny to me as well since that little shit is my favorite character. <3

Other thoughts- Fireheart is so stressed and anxious durning this period of the series since he's already dealing with Tigerclaw being deputy and knowing his secret, plus Graystripe sneaking off to see Silverstream.

Personally a bit more of a sapphic Princess enjoyer myself (Sandstorm and/or Silverstream would be cute) but this would fix the Erin's 'Dustpelt didn't get a mate :( "'problem" without pairing him up with an apprentice. My HCs for them are trans man and bisexual Dustpelt and pansexual Princess.

Forest of Secrets: Rise of Change edition (aka. my redraw/imagining of the Forest of Secrets cover)

Im going to be honest I dont reallly like how this one turned out, but Im choosing to live with this and move on to the next cover bec Ive spent wayyy to much time with this unfinished in my WIPs folder. 

For this cover I changed the cat in the frame to Yellowfang! I feel like this is fitting bec she, along with Bluestar are the main cats with secrets in this book! and Im pretty sure its in this book that Yellowfang kills Brokenstar so I added some death berries to her frame for some added pizazz. 

the two cats at the bottom are Oakheart and Bluestar! 

I had to put a lot of color overlays on Yellowfang to make her pop, and I cant decide if i like it... I feel like its harder to recognize her since she looks so pink, but on the other hand she couldn't good contrast if I let her be gray :/

Thinking about how three of the four chosen cats for The New Prophecy, Tawnypelt, Brambleclaw, and Feathertail, were all nursed together by Goldenflower. Thinking about how Crowfeather didn't, and how he was the "odd one out." Thinking.....

I don't think there is enough Nightstar love in the Fandom, he is the only leader we get who is rejected by Starclan, only having one life and he led his clan better than Bluestar with NINE LIVES!!

He was aging much faster than his fellow leaders ontop of being sick and he was still a good leader and posed a serious threat to Thunderclan in book 3. He had nearly full control over his clan and was a good fighter despite ONLY HAVING ONE LIFE!!

We need more Nightstar love

I still find it funny about how much Tigerstar hates Firestar.

Like. It's so stupid it's funny.

Cause like. Baby Firepaw is 6 moons old or so when he joins ThunderClan. Two moons later he's made a warrior at 8. If we take 6 moons = 12 years, that means Tigerclaw was literally growling over this teenager for years.

One teenager pisses you off so you decide to obsessively dream about murdering him (canon), you train your sons to kill him (canon), you haunt his grandson throughout his life (canon), and then. and THEN.

And then you go out of your way to find this teenager-who-is-now-a-grown-man at the end of a fucking war and attempt to murder him then and there.

And you fail.

Nice going, buddy. Obsession ain't the best look on you, but I wouldn't have it any other way <3

(Sidenote: It's also funny that while Firestar is a constant in Tigerstar's brain, Tigerstar is not one in Firestar's. LMAO)

I had an interesting idea that I don't currently have the time to write or draw, but imagine a scene where Longtail confronts Tigerclaw about almost getting Fireheart killed during the flood when they were trying to find a way to Fourtrees.

Like, Longtail saves Fireheart from drowning and once Fireheart is sent to the medicine den, Longtail pulls Tigerclaw aside and confronts him. Chews him out for sending Fireheart onto a branch that was clearly unstable, and questions him about lying to the rest of the clan by placing the blame all on Fireheart. Longtail doesn't like Fireheart, but Longtail is also not a murderer. Imagine this is the reason he so vehemently denied Tigerclaw when he's exiled from ThunderClan. Like, depending on how you would do the scene, this could even be canon complaint.

I don't know, thought I'd throw this out into the world and see what other people think.

Screams at you I have a bluestar au idea and it has to deal with mosskit I think it’s pretty interesting uh so

After bluefur gives her kits away to oakheart, she’s haunted by like the spirit/voice of mosskit. Or she’s hearing the voices of it idrk yet and basically it torments her and her death changes a bit as well I don’t want to reveal it completely yet though
