you know when you watch a show or read a book or whatever and you envy the characters so much so much because you wish you had that family or that group of friends because there really isn’t a lonelier feeling than seeing that, huh

#caroline talks #anyways what a lovely evening i am feeling so okay right now #watching navillera right now and i'm getting all choked up about mr. sim's family #they are imperfect and flawed but i envy all the kids of the family #for being middle-aged and married and basically not alone #and at least getting to see their parents grow that old and even if there are health problems #they are at an age where they can actually handle it #i watch tomorrow (2022) and my heart aches at the trio because god how i want that #i watch beyond evil and my heart aches because i wonder if i'll ever have someone see me for real #and not run in the other direction #i remember when i was little i read so many books all the time #and there are still books where you can tell i'd cried all over them #because at some point there was a lonely little kid who was crying because she was so lonely #and wanted so badly for the characters to drag her into their world #but OH boy oh boy i am feeling SO NORMAL
