imagine with me, if you will, a nwh potential fix-it involving none other than the multiverse saving duo deadpool and wolverine.
i know, i know - but please, let me cook.
wade and logan now jump across timelines to "fix" things aka travel the multiverse for funsies and deal with the consequences later and somehow end up in a universe where peter parker doesn't exist, but spider-man does. and wade, blessed with the power of "i know this for the plot", immediately knows that is bull. shit. and sure enough, they find one very depressed, very lonely, and very jaded peter parker.
after much annoyance, light stalking, and following spider-man while he's on patrol, they get peter to spill how he ended up in this situation. and after hearing everything, logan breaks the silence with a simple, yet effective: "shit, kid. that... shit."
"yeah, well... now you know, so you can, like, leave me alone."
"nope, not gonna happen." wade shakes his head and tactfully ignores logan's imploring look of what-the-fuck-are-you-getting-us-into-now "i take my job as marvel jesus very, very seriously, so frankly, this is my job to fix your sorry little life, buddy. and if flat-out telling them you exist didn't work, then - "
"oh, i actually... i never told them."
"...come again?"
"i tried to tell them, but i couldn't. so..."
"i'm sorry... your best friend and girlfriend were crying, telling you to come find them and remind them of you, and you chose not to?"
"they're happy and safe without me! i wasn't going to ruin - "
"oh my god. you sweet, self sacrificial, idiot spider-baby. okay! we can fix this! we're no tony stark, but consider us your pseudo daddies for the time being, kid. let's get you your life back."
which is how one very emotional and determined deadpool, followed by a stoic, nonchalant wolverine (who, in all honesty, probably should be completely against this, but once wade commits to something, he can't be talked out of it, and the sooner he gets his fix from this the sooner he can go home, so fuck it we ball), end up in a certain cafe, all up in a poor barista and her friend's face with a cut-out yearbook photo of some kid, yelling "LOOK AT HIM! LOOK AT THIS BOY! HE'S SO LONELY! LIKE A SMALL, FORLORN, VICTORIAN CHILD! REMEMBER HIM, GODDAMMIT!"
(their efforts result in two confused and scared teens, and getting kicked out of said cafe.)
peter practically begs them to just leave him alone, that this was his choice, and he's fine with it, but both wade and logan know a lie when they hear one. they both know what being alone can do to a person, and peter is just a kid who got dealt the shittiest cards in life and at this point, it just feels wrong to leave him here without trying to do something. and maybe they both have a small soft spot for the teen, so what?
and peter knows both men can see through his broody, teenage angst front he's been putting up since the spell, and he's tried so hard to hate the two of them, get them to hate him so they would leave, but they're not budging, so really, there's no point in trying to push them away, right?
and so, he lets them in. he learns that while logan is stoic and intense and kinda terrifying, he's also someone who just wants to do the right thing for the people he cares about. he's also lost people, and he blames himself, but he's come out on the other side. he would tell peter about his daughter, laura, who wouldn't let him wallow in self pity because she is good, better than he has ever been. he never saw himself as a father, but she's still around, so he must be doing alright.
and at first hearing it would result in a pang in his chest, memories of thai food after walking into a smoke-filled kitchen, assurances that things will work out when everything feels hopeless, a tombstone that can never convey everything she was, but now... it's nice to hear that logan still had someone after losing everyone.
so, peter listens to logan's stories. in return, peter tells logan all about his mom.
and wade was brash and loud and conceded and really, really annoying, but he's... no, that's it. he's all of those things, but in a weird way, it's like all those bad qualities merge together to make him a good guy. and yeah, he can walk away at any point, he has absolutely no obligation to help peter, but he does it anyway.
("nonono, don't you dare make me some selfless hero type, kid. i know for a fact that every deadpool has a peter. i'm doing this for the me in your world."
"you're... huh?"
"bottom line, i'm a selfish bastard. i'm doing this for me, 'kay?")
peter didn't fight it. he's had experience with seemingly self-absorbed, deflecting type heroes.
wade doesn't replace him, not even close, but... still.
maybe peter will never get back what he lost. but, for the first time, peter sees a light at the end of the tunnel. that, maybe, he can stop being just spider-man, and he can start being peter parker again, too.
(and if there's a barista talking to her friend about how it's weird that two guys would show up holding a photo of an odd customer from weeks ago, demanding they remember him, and despite not knowing him she felt something, and her friend couldn't help but agree, well... that's neither here nor there.)

could u write Lando with an older woman? who maybe already has a kid, or at least with a small child is in her company? thanx <3
Hello, sure I can! The woman is around 30, and since there are no more instructions, the child that accompanies her is her nephew!
I Never Wanna See You Walk Away | LN4
fandom: Formula 1
pairing: Lando Norris x OC (not named)
names/faceclaims: -
summary: Lando takes Mila to the zoo
warning: age difference (older woman x younger man)
requested: yes / no
**********
“Mila! Mila please wait for me!” Lando yelled after his little niece who zoomed away from him on her bright pink scooter, laughing at her uncle’s attempts to catch her.
Lando had a rare moment of peace in his busy season, which allowed him to go home to Bristol for a few days, to see his parents and siblings. And because he was gone so often, hell he lived in a different country, he offered Oliver that he would take Mila in the late morning for a little ‘date’ to Bristol zoo, allowing his brother and Savannah some time with their newborn Athena.
What he didn’t count though was the energy hiding in Mila’s little body, and also the fact that she didn’t care if her ‘Uncle Lala’ was able to match his steps with her excitement.
So he was basically running after the child, trying not to gain too much attention. He was happy to not only have a break to see his family, but also not to be in public eye that much and that often.
He passed by lions and giraffes, his eyes firmly locked on Mila’s yellow jacket in desperate need to not loose her from his sight. A group of people suddenly appeared in her way, and Mila, startled, turned and ran her scooter straight into another child, both kids falling on the ground.
“Shit,” Lando sweared when he heard Mila’s high-pitched cry, running the last few paces and crouching next to her. She has laying in her stomach, the scooter next to her, partly crushed under her, the sleeves of her jacket dirty with mud, and her eyes shining with tears.
“Oh no no no, don’t cry darling, don’t,” Lando carefully lifted her, helping her to stand up and started to look for any kind of injury. In the whole mess, he completely forgot about the boy that Mila crashed into. Said young child was standing up, his hair messy and wet with a dirty water from the puddle that he fell into, the bottoms of his pants dirty. His eyes were shinning with tears, but he seemed desperately determined not to cry. Lando thought he could be around five.
“Buddy? What happened?!” a voice sounded behind them, and Lando turned to see a stunning woman with alarmed face expression. She was wearing black skinny jeans, cute boots on a small heel with a bow in the back, and a long maroon raincoat. Long haired pulled in a messy bun, and horrified look as she knelt next to the young boy, checking him in the similar way he was checking Mila.
“What happened, buddy?” she hugged him closer to her, caressing his cheek and wiping the lonely tear in his cheek. Mila though continued to cry loudly in Lando’s arms, him not being able to comfort her.
“That girl ran into m-me with her sco-scooter, those pe-people there sca-scared her,” the boy let out a few sobs, pointing first at Mila and then at the group of people that calmly walked away, clearly not aware of two crying children behind them.
“Okay, that’s okay, nothing happened,” the woman pressed a small kiss on boy’s forehead, smoothing his hair down.
“Are you okay? Does anything hurt?” she checked, and when he shook his head negative, she turned her eyes to Lando and Mila. Lando expected her started screaming at him for not being careful, but she just smiled slightly.
“And you sweetheart? Are you okay?” she asked Mila, patting her hair. The little girl was watching her warily, still sniffling the ugly tears away, but she shook her head.
“Good. That is good. C’mon, there is no need to cry, okay? Things like this happen, the most important thing is that you are not hurt,” she smiled, and to Lando’s absolute surprise Mila squirmed out of his arms and flew herself at the woman. She quickly closed her arms around the little girl, before motioning with her hand for he boy who squeezed himself next to Mila, cuddling closer to the woman that Lando still didn’t know.
“I’m sorry, I lost an eyesight of her for only a second,” he apologized and stood up, looming over the most unusual trio anyone could imagine. He earned only a smile and a shake of head.
“Nothing bad happened, right? They’re both okay, maybe little startled, but that comes with life,” she gently eased herself out of Mila’s grid, standing up as well, her hands in each of the kids heads.
“Although we can’t tell your Mum, buddy, otherwise she would have Auntie’s neck for that,” she winked at the boy who gave her a big smile back, one of his front teeth missing but not from the collision.
“Okay, so since they both are fine, I guess we should go,” she patted Mila’s hair and let her go, grabbing the boy’s hand. But Lando’s niece had nothing out of it, running it her and grabbing her hand with the determination only toddlers posses.
“No, come with,” she stomped her foot, the last reminders of a crying fit moments ago long forgotten.
The woman looked at her with wide eyes, before bashfully smiling at Lando and turning back to Mila.
“Do you want to go to take a look at the animals with us?” she asked, making Mila nod with all seriousness.
“Yef, animalf,” she pointed towards the nearby camel, and the woman chuckled.
“Well, if your Papa has nothing against it, you can come with me and Maxie here,” she motioned to the boy who smiled at Lando’s niece.
“Oh I’m not her dad, merely an uncle,” the McLaren driver quickly corrected her, feeling a blush warming his cheeks. She was gorgeous. Clearly older than him, probably closer to thirty than to twenty, but the classic elegance and kindness made his stomach tighten and his hands sweat.
“Well, there is nothing like ‘merely an uncle’. You’re basically her Dad in proxy now,” she smiled at him, before offering her hand and introducing herself.
“Oh, eee… Bob. I’m Bob, and this little spitfire here is Mila,” he motioned to the girl who was already standing at the fence together with Maxie, both of them watching the three camels inside with wide eyes.
“I’m sorry again for the incident,” he apologized again but she only waved her hand.
“As I said, nothing happened. No broken bones or knocked out teeth.”
They were quiet for a moment, watching the kids, before Max turned to his aunt.
“Auntie, can we get some snack?” he asked, his puppy eyes out in all force, making the woman roll hers before smiling gently.
“I guess we can. Want to come with us?” she asked Lando, who after a few seconds nodded. It wouldn’t hurt neither of them.
“Sure, why not. But,” he raised his finger, “I will pay.”
That earned him a chuckle from her and excited yells from the kids, and Lando offered her his elbow which she accepted before smirking.
“Well, I guess driving fast cars in circles earns some nice paycheck, right?” she added like it was nothing. But that little comment made Lando sweat, and not in a nice way. Looking at his horrified face she started laughing.
“We’re in Bristol, Mister Norris. You’re a superstar here,” she patted his arm gently.
“Don’t worry though. If you don’t say who you are, I will not. Now, off to the snack! Max wanted those strawberry pancakes they have in the bistro!” she pulled him with her like they knew each other for years, Mila and Maxie walking in front of them, the boy helping his new friend with her scooter.
And Lando? Once the shock from the realization that she knew him disappeared, he relaxed, and maybe… maybe a small hope for leaving with her number in his phone by the end of the day entered his mind.

Once I had this dream about a modern lcf AU where Lily was like 13~14yo and somehow got involved into an otome-novel-ish type of drama. What I mean is: some girl at school was going around acting like she was such a sweetheart and making others believe Lily was a mean rich girl who bullies her.
She was very sad because a lot of people, including some friends, actually fell for it and treated her as if she was a villain. More and more people avoided her and frowned when they saw her. People who she used to play and chat now talked bad about her. And only a few close friends seemed to believe in her and treat her kindly.
She's brave and bold, but she feels really lonely right now.
And she didn't know how to tell her family. She hasn't heard that any of them had had such a problem before. What if they don't understand? (What if they don't believe her?)
One day, Cale (the original one) entered into her room while she was crying after a bad day. His brain's alarms started to sound. Whom the fuck hurt his little sister? She's a good kid who only wants to train with swords and eat sweets.
So he sat next to her and comforted her, softly humming a song. It felt so nostalgic (though she's not sure why) that Lily ended up spilling out everything. He promised things were going to get better. Then proceeded to distraught her with a gift and a promise to sparr with her.
It was Friday at that moment. On Monday, Lily went back to school just to find out everyone acting strange. Not bad, just strange.
When she asked, her classmates explained that the troublesome girl's mother had carried her from house in house to confess the truth during the weekend. She and her mother were at the headmaster's office at the moment.
Only some people apologized, but no one kept treating her like a bad omen.
Lily didn't know how, but she was sure that Cale was somehow behind this.
Other points about the dream:
-Lily and Cale got close after this. He takes her to and from school quite often. They spar together when Cale is at home or Lily tries new things with him.
-Probably because of the reason above, I remember a scene of them ice skating at an ice rink. They seemed to like it, so hc that it becomes an usual activity for them.
-They take Bassen out for a break when he seems too meddle into his studies. Then the three of them end up sitting at an ice cream shop or a coffee shop, dumming around and ocassionally getting tutoring from Cale.
-I think Cale was on his last year of college here, but he also had a business. I think it was a fashion business but I'm not sure. I don't know why he was taking college classes when he already had a sucessful business, he's weird like that. Probably because he was bored.
-Rok Soo was his roommate. I mean it like platonic roommates, not the vine. Cale somehow convinced him to work at his company after college.
-Ohn and Lily became friends after this.
-The rest of the Henituse family didn't find out about the incident until months later. They freak out a bit before Lily tell them that Cale already solved it. And Bassen is like "yeah, that tracks", which turns into an explanation about his own past bullying situation. Which leads to them connecting the dots. They freak out.
-Cale is walking between classes when he gets a call from Deruth. Half of the campus could heard the "CaLE hENiTuSE, did you sabotage yourself to help Bassen?!". And the "WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?! YOU COULD HAD BEEN HURT!". A few seconds later, it was the whole campus that heard the "AN ACT? IT WAS ALL AN ACT?!".
-Thanks to the people who were near enough to listen to Cale's replies, now the whole campus labeled him of eccentric genius. The general consensus is that he's a good person, too.
-The acting class teacher kept running after Cale, trying to get him into his class after he heard Deruth's last scream. He tries harder after he overhears Cale saying "what? Like it was difficult. You guys are just easy to fool" when his childhood friends asked. Amiru is between the best students, she's definitely not easy to fool.

Can I request Kid x reader (established relationship) where he and the crew find out the reader is a run away princess beacuse she was arranged to get married to a prince who was awful? You can expand on this concept as much as u want!!
KIDD; runaway princess
wc: 2003
warning/s: none, very fluff, kidd's being violent tho
Tumblr media
"snap at me when you've taken down more than half of what i had done, cutie." he taunted, pinning down enemies one after the other that almost got to you. "so i don't gotta watch your back all the time."
"i'll point the gun at you instead, numbskull."
once the lot of you had reached a quiet alley, you all settled down. some had got a hold of their knees, sat on the ground with their backs on the cold, bricked walls, or face flat on the asphalt trying to catch their breaths.
but you were too occupied with thinking if you should out yourself because you are overflowing with guilt. some of your men have been injured but thankfully enough no one died. while some of your mates tended to their wounds, you couldn't take all the guilt so you stepped up.
"why are you standin' like that?" kidd looked at you funny. he stood tall with his back against the wall, his arms crossed, a puzzled expression on his face.
"i... have something to confess to you guys." you said with your head hung low, fists balled up. the others figured that it was serious, so everyone stopped lousing around and had their eyes on you. you took your time gathering your thoughts and words and they anticipated patiently.
"out with it, love." kidd nudged you, placing his human arm on your shoulder. he donned a gentle smile which cheered you on. a smile only known to you and for you.
"the real reason why we're being chased by the royal guards of my village is not just because we're pirates. it's mostly because i-i'm the lost princess who ran away on her wedding day." you spat bitterly, bile rising across your throat.
you pulled out a bounty poster of you that you snatched from the pub you lot were drinking at earlier. "i colored and grew out my hair so i wouldn't be recognized." you placed the poster side by side. the utter astonishment in their eyes as even the littlest resemblance was not evident. you got too careless that your hair later grew out and your roots were showing. even with the make up, the people from your village were able to recognize you.
you took a look at them and they all had the same expression, jaws dropped on the floor. but you especially took a long glance at kidd, his face was unparalleled and you couldn't read him. was he angry? shocked? sad? amused?
he sucked in his teeth and tsked, "sounds like my little rockstar." he looked at you, eye-to-eye as he watched how tears pooled by your eyes. "kinda figured you're somewhat of a princess though, you're too damn pretty to be in my world."
"yeah?" you placed your hand above his which was clutching your cheeks. "i-i'm sorry i lied... i was... scared."
in a millisecond, kidd pulled you to his grasp by the back of your neck. he stroked at the back of your head, combing his fingers through your locks. "that ain't a problem, alright? i'm more than happy to take you away whatever reason you got going on." he pledged by your ear, his embrace tightening. "you better tell me all about it though, aye?"
"i'm really sorry, this is all my fault you guys got hurt." you sobbed silently yet you don't even think deserve to cry. "i-i'll just surrender so you guys can get off the hook-"
"name, no! what?!"
"now that's going too far, name!"
"don't even think about it, name! as if we'd let you!"
"what the hell do you think you're talking about?!" kidd fumed, eyes furious alternating between your glassy ones. "you do realize that when you became part of the crew, you're stuck with us, aye? whatever bullshit you're planning, get it the fuck outta your mind." he kicked a lone rock by the asphalt before turning his back to you. "don't go dropping shit like that like it's some normal fuckin' thing. think about what you really want, and maybe consider my goddamn feelings along the way, why don'tcha." kidd strutted deeper into the alley, with each click of his heel you felt guilt boring through your soul. you couldn't see it but his eyeliner was starting to fuck up because of the forming tears.
you fell to your knees, frustrated. some of the crew members gave you a hug as you started crying your heart out, remembering all the excruciating days of royalty. it was tormenting. but you wanted your crew to go free. if it means to save them, you'd do anything. so you made your way to consult your lover by the corner.
"if you want to surrender. you're just being selfish at this point, name." kidd said through gritted teeth, bitter words making your heart break. "you don't even think about what we want? what i fuckin' want? i know for goddamn sure that you don't want that, why else would you run away then? so let me ask you, what do you really want?" he looked you in the eye, both hands on your shoulders.
"i-i want to be with you. i feel the most free when i'm with you. i want you to be the one i marry. i don't want to be shackled by these posh shit, i want to sail the seas with you. i want to celebrate every birthday with the crew. i want to see everyone reach their dreams, especially you. i want to be with you every step along the way. i-i want to have that, b-but if this princess thing-"
"no buts, i heard you loud and clear, baby." he interrupted with a kiss on the forehead. "you wanna settle this the kidd pirate's way or what?" he suggested with the most manic grin against your ear. "i'm tempted to hunt down that moron prince who had the nerve to marry you. gotta teach 'em to not meddle with someone else's treasure."
"don't tell me you're burning the whole village down..." you looked up at him, though there was no shred of empathy in your eyes. seems like he and the crew had rubbed off on you.
"you bet i will."
Tumblr media
hiii thanks for the request! very sporadic updates bc i'll have exams in a week 😞

Season Finale, woe is me T_T
Where did time go. It feels like yesterday that the first trailer for the season dropped.
AND THIS EPISODE DARES START WITH YOR HUMMING THE LULLABY
Tumblr media
How dare they. Did I ask to be emotionally destroyed like this Yes I did
Tumblr media
Bond is so happy to go for a walk with Loid! And Loid isn't exactly reserved with petting his huge dog is he.
I love how heartbroken Bond was over Anya saying she wasn't coming. He even looked back at her as Loid walked him to the exit.
It actually impresses me that Loid is training Bond right out in public, talking to him about where to bite and how much to make sure the target doesn't get too injured. I guess he doesn't expect the SSS to frequent a dog park?
I love the little pat Loid did on his leg to call Bond back. And then of course pet his head :)
Poor Franky's putting up with so much from Twilight, and he doesn't have to. I hope Twilight appreciates that at some point. I'm sure he hasn't developed feelings just for his family.
Tumblr media
Sweet cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure
Franky talks about how Bond may have associated training with his trauma from getting experimented on, and it sounds like brand new info to Twilight. I guess, despite how much his spy training has scarred him, Twilight has a hard time connecting "having bad memories about something" with "not wanting to engage with that something". After all, he'd spent who knows how long telling himself that he hated children because they're incomprehensible to him, and not because children crying reminded him of his own desperate times. After all, it's easier to do his job and keep training hard if he refuses to accept how soul-crushing that job is, right?
Damn, I got sad again. Because I imagine post-reveal Loid and Yor asking Anya why she chose them, and she says that she thought they were cool, and Loid has a RealizationTM that no he's actually very messed up and it's very sad that this little girl imagined that this devastating way of life could actually look cool to someone from the outside.
Not to worry, there's more angst I'll pull out of nowhere down the road!
Franky calling Loid out for not knowing how to relax and have fun >>>>
I love how after Franky left, Loid and Bond looked at each other like idiots. Old habits die hard, and an entire cruise of Loid trying to relax and have fun wouldn't be enough to break them, I guess XD
Tumblr media
She's like "If I can't get real stars might as well fake some" Poor Yor continuing to clap happily even while Anya's origami star fell from her chest XD it taught her how to properly apply tape I guess, for later...
Tumblr media
Pretty much everyone around them is wearing winter clothes, even Loid is wearing a turtleneck and a heavy coat. Why are those children in such light clothes eating ice cream? The boy on the left we even see later is wearing shorts
Guess an ice cream was an easy kind of snack for a kid to feel bad about dropping XD
Sweet Bond! He's imagining Loid praising him and telling him he's glad they adopted him, and all while Bond is wagging his tail 😭😭
This family is just four lonely creatures desperate to be wanted (even if Twilight is very far from accepting that) aren't they ;_;
Ice cream goes RIP and Bond has his (probably) first experience of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Look at him he's so 🥺
Tumblr media
Later in the episode, Twilight goes all strict with himself for a laugh. Here though, he actually expresses distress and guilt for Bond ruining the kid's ice cream. He could have gone for a simple "I'll buy you a new one" without showing that much emotion in his expression and voice. In the manga he even has a typical "cold sweat lines" expression.
Tumblr media
Or however you call that.
I don't know, maybe it circles back to any "starving war orphan" trauma he may be trying to tell himself he doesn't have...
I'm just saying, he was very expressive here, and he didn't have to. It wasn't a conscious choice.
Bond is really such a good boy. Every time he acts on his visions is to help someone else. From something as trivial as dropping a snack to something as important as saving someone's life, whether they're a kid, an old man, or a puppy, Bond is truly a very empathetic and caring creature.
However, the silly music playing over the vision of the old man getting hit was... a choice XD
Tumblr media
Yet another example of the anime putting details to help the narrative: the old man is hunched, making him short enough that the corner of the wall/fence to his side is actually covering him. Which makes the biker not seeing him make sense, since he was behind the fence and appeared at the last second.
Tumblr media
I actually felt shivers with the tone Twilight used here. Bond's behaviour is making no sense and is actually a first.
But also, Bond is probably only now realizing that unlike Anya, Loid cannot read his mind and cannot see his good intentions. He knows Anya would jump for joy for what he did, but since two of his efforts to help were met with reprimands, he's hesitant to try again because his trauma rears its ugly head and he fears he'll get kicked out. He probably doesn't understand that Loid doesn't know anything about his special powers, and so he can't let Loid's reprimands pass by him unaffected.
It's a bit similar to how he probably connects bad food with bad intentions, and thus fears that Yor will be mean to him, since she makes such horrible meals.
And so he allows the woman to get bird poop on her, but he jumps to action when he realizes someone's life may be in danger of the fire.
And first, I know we talk about how strong Yor is, but can we for a moment talk about how Loid held back this absolute beast of a dog?
Tumblr media
Like, Loid allowed him to carry him around twice, but when he felt things got serious, he actually had no issue holding him back. It was only when Bond looked legitimately scary that he let go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that was... a shock. Have we ever seen Twilight like that before? Cause he genuinely looks like he hesitated out of fear... and maybe realizing that no, this time Bond is actually dead serious.
Bond probably didn't know what he would be looking for once he stepped inside the burning building. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who thought that that "Daisy" was a child... but maybe Bond is more attuned to scents of other dogs, especially little ones that need help, so he could find the puppy amidst all the burning smells.
Badass Loid saving his doggo!
Tumblr media
Loid doesn't hesitate to run in after him, either. Even the idea that Bond could be rescuing someone is enough for him to take that risk. I love how, after two attempts of what Loid thought was Bond attacking innocent people, he still believes Bond would have a good reason to run into a burning building and runs after him to help.
Tumblr media
I mean, you also ran into that building to save your - for all you know, disobedient - dog, so maybe it's the pot calling the kettle black XD
How sweet is he, though. He really doesn't believe in reprimanding someone after the fact - Bond running into fire was dangerous, but it helped save an innocent life... and Twilight's priorities are very clearly shown in that reaction!
I love how man saves dog, dog saves man, and then Twilight is like "Wow your nose is incredible" because of course he can't think of another explanation, and Bond's affirmative borf there sounds like "Yeah sure, buddy. It's my "nose" alright."
Even though it's only Bond with him, Twilight uses "Twilight voice" as he assesses the situation, and "Loid voice" when he talks to Bond. Is this him putting on a mask... or feeling a little more comfortable around Bond?
Tumblr media
I'M HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO TILL THE END OF THE NIGHT
That was so badass! But then!
Tumblr media
Miserable creature
Exactly how much water was in that bucket to make Bond's entire massive fur soaking wet XD
Tumblr media
This is both so wholesome and, me being me, so fucking heartbreaking at the same time. Like, the other guy let himself laugh his heart out at how Bond looked, but Twilight barely allowed a single sound out of his mouth that he couldn't control. And again, angst is my wont, so it really ruins me that he's not even letting himself laugh over something ridiculous, because he can't let his emotions show... even if it would be totally understandable for him to laugh at that moment.
I mean, as I said, he showed genuine distress when Bond caused the boy to drop his ice cream, but he stopped himself from laughing even when the other guy next to him was laughing too. As in, he allows negative expressions when it's appropriate, but not positive even when it's appropriate and understandable.
I mean, he has been smiling at his family and looking at Yor like the besotted simp he is... but he doesn't realize just how much of his real feelings pour through his face, exactly because he hasn't realized said feelings. Wet Bond was a much clearer example of something funny, so he knew that laughing would be a loss of control...
Anyway what I'm saying is it's sad. He shouldn't feel he has to repress his own laugh like that.
Kinda sad the anime omitted this still-trying-not-to-laugh expression Loid has as he sees Bond sniff around.
Tumblr media
Bond's voice adafhgdsfdgfdgd
Arsonist guy is watching sneakily from a corner while wearing a hat that has "Fire" written on it.
Tumblr media
Dude couldn't have been more suspicious if he tried.
Pretty sick how he got even more excited at the idea of someone dying from the fire, when he heard the woman say how Daisy was still trapped inside.
Vigilante Bond! Arsonist guy takes out his knife and tells Bond to not be disrespectful of humans and my dude you're the one setting people's lives at risk and having a blast about it
Tumblr media
We haven't seen Twilight in such action in a while, have we! Ngl it was kinda, uhm... 😳😳
Tumblr media
LOOK AT HIM! So proud of his doggo 😭😭
He then says how it would be bad if either of them were in the news... and you're reminded that this is fictional but still pretty accurate 60s-70s so Twilight has really avoided getting any picture of him published. But also Bond could indeed be recognized by any of the scientists... and it's actually sweet how Twilight cares for Bond's secret not getting out. He helped Bond with his "revenge" and now he's acting to protect him from getting targeted again.
I love how Bond fears he'll get reprimanded for biting the arsonist's leg and not arm... when in the beginning Twilight very clearly said he can bite either a leg or an arm XD
BUT THEN
Tumblr media
He tells Bond how "someone" will be sad if anything happens to him (Bond), (and we get a sweet af montage of Anya and Bond having fun together), how Bond is first and foremost a part of the family, how his working duties should come second and he should look after himself...
Oh it's gonna hit him like a brick wall when he realizes the exact same things apply to him 😭
Tumblr media
SHUT UP AND LET THE BESTEST BOI LOVE YOU 😭
He's not gonna tell anyone, promise 🥺
And he ends with a promise to go to the dog park the next day so that Bond can have some long overdue fun. Yeah definitely a very detached, cool-headed spy who only cares about the mission not destabilizing. Sure.
The anime did offer us some extra stuff, though!
Tumblr media
I love one (1) gremlin
I actually saw it as a knife, too XD
Tumblr media
I love her.
I fully expected to see the paper puppets (or whatever you call those) fall apart like Yor's victims' bodies do XD I was not disappointed XD
Tumblr media
Anya is still working on accepting that her mother is not very capable of not sprinkling "murder" on anything in her life XD
Loid isn't wearing his coat when they return...
Tumblr media
I am amazed that they've had Bond for, how many months has it been now? And yet neither Loid nor Anya had ever seen him wet.
Anyway, Loid appeared back without his coat because his excuse was that someone had sprayed water all over them, so he took it off XD
Tumblr media
But where is his coat even XD
Tumblr media
Her heroes!
And of course Loid doesn't know Anya knows about the puppy rescue, so he's not that affected by the "Stella" and is instead going like "Yo but could you get going with earning those stars already". He's not used to getting recognition for his hard work and he's not about to start... yet...
The closing montage was so sweet! Especially with the holidays around the corner, it was very fitting to see the children having fun and relaxing, Yuri being very NormalTM, Nightfall and Franky having dreams for the future, and the Forger family having their celebrating dinner!
Tumblr media
I love them so much.
And thus, the season has ended, and this anime only will start wondering how her Saturdays will pass from now on :')
I am thinking of doing more crack recaps, finishing my character screen time project, and probably starting on some fics... but for a very specific reason, the completion of those will have to wait until the next season ;)
This was a wonderful season! I may have rewatched every episode almost three times, but I do wanna do a "recap" full rewatch of the season at some point, and share my overall thoughts. I certainly have a lot of time on my hands for that XD

Steve Harrington has always loved the sky.
How vast, and complex, and free it is. How it changes colors with the season and weather. Sunsets and sunrises, and the things they signify. Some may hate the way it makes them feel smaller, but Steve loves it. He feels safe being a tiny particle under this big sky.
At the early age of six, Steve remembers his mother, sitting beside him in the garden. She was the one who thought him cloud watching. Laying mindlessly in the garden, as they both point out at shapes at the blue sky. There’s a cup, a shape of a heart, a bear. One even looked like a guitar! It was one of the only things they did together for fun.
At thirteen, the sky becomes Steve’s only companion. His parents has left him again, alone in a big quiet house. He’s been in the pool for almost three hours, floating aimlessly as he stares at the sky. There’s different shapes, and it makes him a little less lonely knowing that he’s at least not alone as long as he’s under the big sky.
At seventeen, Steve finds the beauty in the night sky. The dark canvas, with the shining stars and the moon looking down at him. He doesn’t cry, because Harrington’s don’t cry. But there he was, laid in his backyard, nursing a broken heart from the first person he’s ever loved. He’s alone again, and he thinks he’ll always be alone. Just him and the big vast sky. However, there’s more important things now, more than heartbreaks and loneliness, like 12 year olds that get experimented in labs, a girl getting pulled in his pool and to her death and monsters living underneath him. Although underneath the big dark sky, Steve feels like he’s being wrapped in it’s darkness, almost like a comforting blanket.
At eighteen, Steve finds a real friend. Not the sky, but Robin Buckley. A friend he found under the night sky as the place they met went into flames, including Billy Hargrove and Jim Hopper. It’s cruel, but one of the things Steve has learned is that there’s always lost, and there’s always gain. Two nights after the fire, Steve asks, if Robin would lay beside her on the ground. They watch as dark sky turns as the sun rises, too scared to go back to sleep because only then can the nightmares haunt them again. They watch as colors mix from darkness to brightness, and the for the first time in a while, he has someone there with him.
At nineteen, Steve meets Eddie Munson. Really meets him, a brand new slate from what they had in high school. It’s the night just after they come back from the upside down, his bits have been eaten and they’ll probably go back there again tomorrow. Nancy has some kind of plan and he wants to sleep, but he can’t. They sit at the back of the trailer, away from people that could see them (specifically Eddie) smoking a cigarette.
“I can’t believe you guys have been doing this for years.” Eddie says, disbelief apparent in his voice.
Steve shrugs, “I don’t either. They’re—“ He pauses, thinks about El who’s only 15 and has the weight of the world on her shoulders, thinks of Will who’s been through hell and death, thinks of Max who’s still grieving her dead brother only for it to be used to lure her into death, he thinks of the kids, the kids who’s all barely 15 fighting this entity, “They’re all too young for this.” He finishes.
Eddie gives him a look, Steve doesn’t like it. It feels like he’s being studied, he feels naked under Eddie’s eyes. Like he can see through him, see the pieces Steve has hidden for so long.
“You’re young too.” Eddie answers back, tilting his head, “You, Robin, Nancy, even me.”
Steve shrugs, “I guess. I just want this to end already.”
Eddie looks away, staring at the skies as it finally starts changing its hues.
“I don’t really like sunrises.” Steve looks at him, offended and ready to defend his dear old companion.
But Eddie continues, “I’ve always liked the sunsets more, you know? Sunsets are— endings. But they show you that even endings could be beautiful.”
Steve stares at him, watching silently as Eddie smokes. Steve knows the sun is rising now, and he’s never been one to miss it when it’s right in front of him. But there’s something about the way the different colors are hitting Eddie’s face, the light dancing on his skin and his brown eyes illuminating the colors, like it’s lighting him up in ways Steve has never seen before. It’s breathtaking, Eddie’s breathtaking and it makes him feel things he’s never felt before.
When the silence grows heavy, Eddie breaks it with, “Plus I really like it when the sky turns orange.”
It’s the first time Steve has ever ignored the sky.
At nineteen, Steve learns that the sky could also be red. He doesn’t remember much, just Dustin crying over Eddie’s body as the red sky above him thunders on, menacing and cackling at their demise. The clock just struck, four fault lines running across the town above him. Vecna got Max and Eddie’s dead in Dustin’s arms. It’s hard to look up at the sky then, when they finally emerge from hell. Steve thinks that no clear blue sky, or no dark starry night, can ever give him comfort again.
At twenty, almost three months from the first Vecna fight, the sky is permanently gray and stormy. Steve Harrington is bones and meat. Nothing else. He is nothing but a body, weary of the life that has been given to him. They fight for the last time. Steve wants to run away, pack his bag and never look back but as long as his under this fucking sky, he will always remember that he abandoned them. He fights, he fights, he fights. Eddie’s dead, and Max is in a coma, and Steve Harrington fights until it ends.
They get Max back, but she’s forever changed by the experience. They win, the skies turn back to blue and Steve wants to vomit. If this is what it means to win, then why does he want to die? Why does winning feel so much like losing?
At twenty-two, Steve moves to Boston with Robin and Nancy. It’s a weird group, his best friend and her girlfriend, who was also his ex-girlfriend. But they’re Steve’s family (aside from the kids) and he’d go anywhere if Robin asks. He hasn’t laid in his back to watch the clouds in three years, he hasn’t stayed up to look at the night sky, he hasn’t watched the morning sun rise to it’s beauty and he hasn’t watched the sunset in a while.
It’s a conversation they’ve always avoided. Robin knows that Steve used to love the sky, he told her just as much, how it feels like a companion he’s always had. She doesn’t know why he stopped, why he stopped looking up and pointing out random shapes, or random constellations. Why he hasn’t been waking her up in the morning just so he can show her the sky changing to another beautiful color, morning after morning. All she knows was it stopped after Eddie died.
Eddie’s death has always been hard for the three of them. This one person who’ve they known for almost a week, leaving such a big impression in their lives. She knows Nancy has stash of metal music, smiling with a sad grin whenever Metallica comes on. Robin has multiple guitar pins, always an electric guitar in the color red, pinned in her coat, in her bag, in her bedroom and anywhere else she can stick it on. And Steve, well, Robin held his hand as he got his first tattoo. A D20 dice, just above his demobat scar. Robin’s still not sure if he cried because of the pain of the needle or the pain of having the same scar, in the exact same place, of someone who didn’t survive it.
It all comes out one day. The anniversaries has always been harder, not only were they far away from the kids, but the Vecna spring anniversary always hits them the hardest. It’s also Eddie’s death anniversary, to make it worse. Robin plans it all out, they stay in all day. Just watch movies, eat snacks, stay wrapped in comfortable blankets. The three of them fall asleep in the middle of their fourth movie of the day, all tangled together and it’s days like this— like this that makes it harder to ignore the fact that it should’ve been the four of them rather than just three.
Robin wakes up with Steve not beside her, Nancy still sleeping peacefully beside her. The digital clock— they all can’t stand the silent tick tocking of a clock, reminds them too much of a grandfather clock, no matter how big or small— blinks at her, it’s almost 5:21 in the afternoon. From where she is sitting, she can feel the cold wind brushing her feet, the door of the apartment balcony open. She stands up, wrapping the blanket around her shoulders and walking out to the small balcony.
It’s a surprise to see her soulmate watching the sky start to change colors, the sun impending to set in a few more minutes.
“You’re watching the sunset.” Robin states, making Steve look up at her.
“Yeah.” He replies.
Robin sits beside him, putting the half of the blanket on his shoulder, the half on hers. They watch as the colors start to change. The blue shifting to pink and purple.
“I stopped watching the sky because of Eddie.” Steve starts, startling Robin. It’s been a conversation waiting to happen for years now, but she didn’t think it would happen today. She finds her footing almost immediately, “Why’s that?”
Steve isn’t looking at her, just watching as the sky dances in front of him. Robin have imagined hundreds of ways that this conversation could go but she never expected him to say, “I think I could’ve loved him. Sometimes, I think I do love him.” She had her suspicions, that maybe her bestfriend isn’t entirely straight. But she didn’t connect the dots that it was Eddie who made him realize this.
Steve continues, “He said he loved sunsets, he loves when it turns orange. Because it showed people that endings could also be beautiful.”
Steve has watched maybe hundreds, maybe thousands of sunsets in his life. But this one— they stay quiet, Nancy comes out a little later, sitting on Steve’s other side and holding his hand through the sunset. Together they watch as the day of the anniversary ends, with what Steve could only call the most beautiful sunset he’s ever seen in his life. It turns into the most beautiful hue of orange and Steve breaks.
“That’s him.” Robin tells him, as she wraps him into a hug, as Steve finally cries on her shoulders, both grief and pain chocking him as he sobs harder, “It’s okay. Eddie’s okay now, and he’s letting us know. We’ll be okay.”
“We’ll be okay.” Nancy reassures, hugging the two of them.
Only then does Steve find comfort in the sky again, with the two people he loves and he knows loves him and under the sky as an old friend watches over.
At twenty-six, Steve graduates with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Atmospheric Science.
Steve doesn’t avoid the sky anymore, he studies it now, writes the weather news for a big Boston channel. He stops to point out random objects in the sky, has a telescope set up for constellations. He drinks a hot cup of coffee, every morning, watching as the sun rises.
He lays in the grass with Dustin and Suzie’s son and teaches him how to cloud watch. He takes time to send reminders to Max and Lucas to wear a raincoat if he sees that it’s going to rain in California. He talks to Will and Mike for hours, just trying to describe to them a weather phenomenon so Will could draw it and Mike could write it for their latest best-selling comics. He knits El a gorgeous sky blue scarf, because he knows how cold it gets in New York.
Wayne calls him, every other day, to ask how the weather is in Boston and Steve asks how the weather is in Indiana. Steve spends a few months in a year in the guest room of the farm house Joyce and Hop bought in 1986. He stays and writes about the stars and the planets, because the skies are so much clearer in rural places.
He still lives with Robin and Nancy, but they’ve moved to a house now. He’s got equipment for sky watching at the backyard and the girls surprised him with sunroof in his office. They have a dog named Hetfield and cat named Sabbath.
And more than anything, Steve loves sunsets. He has the time of every sunset for everyday charted in his room. He stops, whatever he is doing, however important it is, just to go out and get a glimpse of the sun setting. Sometimes, at home, the girls accompany him, like an unspoken ritual, to just watch the sun setting. He waits for it to turn into some shade of orange and smiles when it turns to the color.
It’s a hello, a how are you, a comfortable hug.
It’s an old friend in the form of the sky.
It’s Eddie Munson just checking in.

somebody to you ; 01
parts: 01. 02.
Tumblr media
Itadori Yuji.
Your longtime crush. Your childhood sweetheart.
When he introduced you to his newest friends, Megumi and Nobara, your heart warmed up at how his eyes sparkled whenever he talked about them and how he ran up to them while grabbing your hand, overjoyed like a small kid.
Weeks turned into months, and months into years. Now, today, you planned on confessing your feelings to him. Little did you know, his spikey-haired friend, Megumi, kind of guessed that you liked Yuji. For a long time now.
Yuji had the purest heart you had seen, and though he was as warm as the sun and radiated his sunshine energy to everyone around, you knew he felt lonely. He had always felt like he had everything but the love of a family, with his grandfather gone as well, until he found a family in the company of his friends. You, were indeed special to him, but the boy was too oblivious to think and differentiate his feelings.
A bit too oblivious that his response to your confession left you dumbstruck.
"Really?"
The strawberry-haired boy looked at you with a grin on his face.
"I like you too, Y/N! You're the bestest of all best friends I've ever had! But Megumi and Nobara are close to my heart too.." He drifted off, glancing at the two who glared at him in shock.
Leaving you blinking in disappointment and embarrassment. The two others had the same reaction as you.
Was he trying to say he saw you only as a friend or was he dumb to not realize you were confessing to him?
'I shouldn't have said anything..' you thought.
"But you've a special place in my heart too, Y/N. You're a really good friend!"
Yuji flashed his teethy grin to you, while Megumi raised his hand to smack him from behind, as Nobara held back her urges to throw her purse at the dumb boy.
You sighed, looking away while you felt a tad bit disappointed. Clearing your throat, you bit your lip awkwardly. Embarrassed, and even more flustered due to his friends witnessing your awkward moment, you wanted to go home and question your choices today.
"I'll go home. I just remembered my mom telling me to grab some groceries on the way back. See you later," was all you said before awkwardly walking out of the scene, leaving behind a confused Yuji.
"Huh- okay, Y/N! See you tomorrow!" He gave you a big wave before turning around to face his friends.
"Fushiguro-"
Megumi immediately smacked his head with an irritated expression. "Are you stupid?" "What was that for- oi, Nobara!" Yuji grimaced as the said girl pinched his sides. He looked at the two with a stupidly innocent face. "What did I do?" "She confessed to you, you dimwit! And you threw off the entire confession! Did you really miss the point?" Nobara rambled, using her hands while she ranted for a dramatic effect. "She likes you more than just a friend, Yuji! She literally told you she liked you! She didn't mean that as a friend!"
"Eh?"
Yuji blankly stared at the two, while having the hood of his shirt dragged and held up by a silent Megumi, who had much to say but chose to glare at him instead.
"You mean she likes me?"
"That's what I'm saying!"
"You mean she LIKES me? Like, in that sense? Like a lovey-dovey sense? Y/N likes me like that?!"
Nobara sighed in exasperation.
Megumi facepalmed. "Yuji, do you like her back or not?"
His question made Yuji stop and think. Of all the times you had been a little too kind to him. All the instances where you'd put him first before yourself, and cared for him like he was your treasure.
When you gave up all your academic opportunities because you felt like Yuji deserved it more.
When you let him cry on your shoulder all night long after his grandfather's passing.
When he fell sick and you took two weeks off school to tend to him.
When you got the news of him eating strange things and all the weird incidents that took place in your school one night, the way you scolded him for his carelessness before breaking down in sobs, thankful that he wasn't hurt as badly as his two other friends.
Yuji had mistook all this for simple, 'friendly' concern and selflessness. Especially when you would get jealous whenever he got confessions from other girls, he thought you were just being protective of him as a friend.
Then, it hit him.
You had been liking him for a long way back, and even his friends knew, except for himself.
"Fushiguro, I.." He began, his words trailing off. He clenched his fists and ran off, escaping his friend's grip.
"I gotta go and tell her something! Sorry!"
Nobara squinted her eyes at the running man. "We need to follow him," she muttered, receiving a nod from the other side.

So I don’t know if I’m ever really going to be able to write it coherently because it’s a mess of an idea but I need it out of my brain box. But I have an idea for a fic I’ll probably never write -because as I say ✨coherency✨- and it kinda goes like this:
Cloud is a pretty lonely kid. Even when Tifa tries to include him, he struggles socially and the others don’t really like him. As a way of coping with this Cloud falls back on his imagination and essentially creates the entire universe of kingdom hearts in his head like a maladaptive daydream to cope with his situation.
He has drawings of Sora and the gang all over his room and every note book is filled with complicated plots and backgrounds and ideas for characters. His Ma worries that he spends too much time in his own head. However, she quickly realised that moving his drawings and Writing causes him great distress so she tries to leave them be.
For Cloud Sora is an extension of the outgoing hero he wants to be. The kid who wasn’t necessarily the chosen one but is the best version of himself and is the hero because he’s good.
Riku is his sephiroth type character. He’s the cool kid that everybody wants to be like, and just like us he lives for torturing his blorbo. What Clouds not really aware of as he writes though is that Riku becomes more and more like an extension of himself. There’s an intense loneliness to his character and a repression of something Cloud is really not ready to look at.
Kairi is probably his romanticisation of Tifa and an extension of Clouds own desire to protect the people that matter to him most. Sora wants to protect kairi in the same way Cloud wants to protect Tifa. But like Tifa as the Kairi develops she has a certain strength of her own and a story worth telling.
More characters develop along the way and by the time he joins shinra military he’s got a whole fantasy world (or worlds in this case) planned out in his head that consumes his every waking minute.
Cut to being in the army and Clouds usually got a small field journal with him that he uses like an ideas book that’s full of scribbles and drawings. He’s incredibly territorial about the notebook and has gotten into altercations over it multiple times.
By this point he’s established some other stories. Sora feels really distant to him and he can’t quite reach him. It’s upsetting but around the time he meets Zack Ventus sort of emerges from nowhere.
Ven is quirky, he’s a bit silly and a lot sarcastic. But he’s smiley and friendly and exactly the person Cloud is around a certain second Class soldier…
Hiding his sketches from Zack was never an option. He was never going to get away with carrying his journal around without Zack popping up over his shoulder to ask “whattcha doooin’?”. Once Zack got a little snap shot into Clouds world(s) he wanted to grill Cloud about it every time they hang out. What Zack doesn’t really get though, is that for Cloud it’s not a story… not really.
These are Clouds friends. This is where he feels safest. Being able to talk of them makes them more tangible more real and when the Genesis war starts to get that bit more tense Cloud is stuck in his head As Sora and Riku make a reappearance.
Waking Dreams and nightmares plague Cloud for hours to the point of exhaustion because there’s someone on his island! Someone who shouldn’t be. Zack suddenly gets the feeling that maybe there’s something a little off about Clouds stories. He unfortunately gets his answer when he opens the door to Clouds room in the barracks and finds him crying into his knees and rocking.
“He opened the door, he opened it Zack! He shouldn’t have done that!”
“Who? What door Cloud? Where’s your head at bud?”
“Riku! He opened the door to darkness”
From that point on Zack is very careful about how he approaches Clouds stories. He notices Clouds staring; the times when he will start crying for no reason; nights when Zack will come to get him for dinner and find him scribbling out drawings of dark little shadows and a sword that looks like a key… The night before sephiroth burns down Nibelhiem Zack leaves Cloud scribbling a drawing of Ansem rising up covered by a monster gagged with bandages.
…..
When cloud dreams in the Mako pod it’s confusing. He dreams of Sora Trapped in a white room. He dreams that none of his friends know him and that Riku isn’t what he remembers. He dreams of some of his lesser characters in Black coats and his brain confuses Ventus and Sora to make Roxas.
He dreams that Lea is no longer Lea he’s Axel. He dreams of Kairi with Black hair and Blue eyes but she’s not Kairi she’s- shes…. Xion? He dreams that there’s a girl that’s making Sora forget things, and he’s struggling to remember things himself.
He dreams that Riku won’t show anybody his eyes. What’s wrong with his eyes?! He dreams and dreams and dreams of Sephiroth, in the colosseum, in Radient Garders… no Hollo- hollow bastion… why are you here?!
Get out get out get out get out!
GET OUT!
…..
……..
When Cloud wakes up in the sector seven train station the first thing he registers is that summer vacation is over. No that’s not right. They were going to the beach right? Roxas and Heyner and Pence and Ollette. They were going to the beach, to get pretzels and watermelon and…
Sora?
He blinks and he’s lying on his back in a bed on stargazer hights and When Sora Cries so does he. Why is Sora crying? Where is Roxas?
There’s a tower surrounded by stars, and a wizard who tells Sora that the darkness still exists. He tells him about Nobodies that are the husks of people who have lost their hearts and Cloud wonders if he is a nobody too…
There’s a black feather in the underworld. And one on Mount Olympus when Sora parks the Gummi ship. Cloud thinks someone should be running to meet them with a big smile and questions about Terra… no that’s not right?
There’s a figure in a black coat in hollow ba- radient- hollow bastion. And another one in the underworld. Half way up a mountain in the land of dragons there’s another one, different from the others who won’t fight back.
As Avalanche reach Kalm Cloud makes a beeline for an art supply shop and suddenly there’s flowers in radiant garden again.
When he gets splashed with Mako in Corel he’s sees Riku and Roxas in loveless avenue. No that’s not right. What… what is this place.
“Come on sora, you can do better then that!”
“Oh yeah look which one of us is winning!”
“Stop by once me and him are both hero’s!”
“Oh so never come back!”
… Hello?
This is where I got up to with this idea and I can’t figure out the rest of it, but it’s been bugging me for months. So ✨here✨

OMG BESTIE YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT.
i had this dream where me, Joel and Ellie were in Jackson and him and I were together after years of surviving and then (I still don't know how) I switched to the no-outbreak time where Sarah is alive and Joel is in his 40's. We didn't knew each other and I accidently bumped into him while walking with my daughter Ellie (at that point I'm in tears) and we look at each other and I have this deja vu and he seems to have it too! We don't say anything, just smile at each other and then I wake up. (I hope it makes sense 😭)
I wish Joel was real. (especially with his silver hair and southern accent that makes my knees buckle)
No outbreak!Joel Miller x f!reader
A/N: omg bestie you got me screaming and crying and throwing up honestly! This dream is amazing and it sort of reminds me of X-Men Days of Future Past in which Wolverine needs to go back in time to save the mutants and prevent the extinction of mutants and humans! I like this idea so I turned into a headcanon adapting to the no mutation tlou reality hehehehe
Tumblr media
• Joel thought the dreams he was having were beyond explanation at how weird they really were; every single night he would wake up in cold sweat, panting and wondering what the hell was going on with him
• his dream was always the same: he would dream about a world that had ended and for some reason he had survived, where monstrous creatures that seemed a mix of humans and some kind of fungus had wiped most of civilization and the world as he knew; in the dream Joel was a low life, a depressed, lonely and hard guy who had lost the will of living right after his daughter got killed and that was enough for Joel to snap wake and immediately tiptoe to her bedroom, just to watch her sleep and make sure she was alright and her bedroom was still pink and full of butterflies and not some ruin of what things used to be
• it puzzled Joel, because he had no idea where that was coming from; he wasn't one to watch zombie or horror stuff, reading books was definitely not his cup of tea and he seriously couldn't understand why kids like Sarah obsessed over watching TikToks, so he thought he didn't actually have the creativity for that
• maybe he'd eaten one of Tommy's suspicious brownies by accident?! It could be a possibility, but his brother was extra careful with these since Sarah was around
• still, it didn't matter the reason why Joel had those disturbing dreams, but the frequency they were happening, and not only that: he very often saw people he knew from his everyday life in the dream as well
• such as his former girlfriend Tess, his brother Tommy and his girl Maria, he recalls seeing those two kids who lived down the street from him... Henry and Sam, he recognized them from Sarah's school, the older brother making ends meet and always having to attend parent - teacher conferences and the little one being the gifted student his daughter told him about
• even that nut job from the other block, Kathleen showed up every once in a while, Bill and Frank, and several other friends and acquaintances Joel had met through his life and the city
• but from all the crazy shit his, what baffled him the most was that you and your daughter Ellie featured in his dream as well; he knew Ellie was a firecracker from all the school meetings he'd attended, which honestly amused him. He thought she was pretty strong and smart and it always made him chuckle when she put a boy back into his place
• but it was so confusing to him that he almost had a fatherly bond with her, at the same time he had a relationship with you. Joel had always found you attractive and he very often kept in the back of his mind his desire of asking you out, but he never went through it, and yet, in his apocalyptic dreams you were going strong, it was just odd
• Joel kept thinking of those dreams for a few days, he even considered seeing a shrink after Sarah told him he should do it, but being a stubborn Miller the way he was, he just shrugged it off and eventually, his sleep went back to normal and he got too caught up with work to pay attention to things like that
• it was only one weekend where he was taking a walk around the neighborhood with Sarah, he ended up running into you, smiling and waving gently, he felt his heart skip a beat, thinking of your apocalyptic romance and thinking of how crazy it would be to miss something he never really had
• when you saw your neighbor Joel waving and smiling from across the street, you immediately reciprocate, he was handsome and you would be lying if you said you didn't have the slightest crush on him, but he would think you were crazy if he ever found out you had the craziest dream about him, in which you both had to survive in an apocalyptic world while being a couple 🥴

Slashers with adoptive child! Reader + how thye found them
Tumblr media
Michael
You were probably just a little kid who was wondering around Halloween because your parents are quite neglectful. You of course didn't know about "the boogey man" Or such things as kidnapping and murders, let's say you are about 5.
You saw a tall man with a mechanical overall and a knife, he looked quite dirty and there was red liquid all over him. The man intrigued you so you decided to fall him. You tripped while stalking him since he walked so goddamn fast and it startled him.
Michael looks over his shoulder his grip tightening on his knife but all he sees is a little child on the floor looking at him with big eyes.
Oh, it's just a kid
Michael continued on his journey paying no mind to the little child who secretly admired him.
The stalking and tripping and sudden words of "ow" Went on and Michael was getting fed up.
Just what does this child want?
He was coming towards you, ready to scare the life out of you but then... You disappeared. Just like that Michael was confused asf. Then he brushed it off and he saw you again and starting walking towards you only for you to outrun him and disappear again. Now Michael was getting frustrated. A child of all people keeps outrunning him.
So he was deciding to take that anger out on some nearby neighbors he saw, and right when he was about to enter he heard a high pitched voice.
"Don't go inside, Mrs Jones's has many big angry dogs. And i saw a police man go inside her house!"
Just then did he notice a cop car parked outside of her house, not like that was going to stop him but the dogs may cause him some trouble.
And then you suddenly pointed at a house quite far away but also near.
"Mr and Mrs Lee. they don't have much pets or people around."
He went inside their home and heard quiet muffled screaming and shouting but then a few minutes later he came back with even more red liquid on him.
He expected you to run away in fear and scream but you just stood there, even smiling.
You suddenly pulled out a small bucket of candy from behind you. And walked towards him and offered him some.
Michael, extremely confused and not knowing what to do just took some and then you started following him again. You even found out where he lived and then he decided to take you as his own. Yay 🎉
Jason
You're 6 and you were probably dragged by your older sister to camp crystal blood so that she and her boyfriend can "make love" There.
And everything was soo boring, you didn't want to be near your sister at all since she kept making weird noises which freaked you out.
You decided to take a nap somewhere in the empty cabins and then suddenly you were woken up by loud screaming and crying, you were really started, what was happening? You decided to peep outside the door since you were too scared to fully go outside and you saw a big bloodied man chasing your sister and her friends!
Your heart was starting to beat so fast and it seemed he was getting closer to the cabin you were in! You quickly close the door too afraid to lock it in case he heard you and hid under a bed.
You got so scared when you saw your sister and her friend get butchered right in front of your eyes and fall on the bed you let out a loud yelp and of course Jason heard it and caught your leg and dragged you out, he was raising his machete at you until he realised it was a kid. He lowered his weapon and stared at your shaken crying form.
"Take them in Jason." "Make them your child. You've been so lonely for such a long time didn't you? You would like a little one to take care of, wouldn't you Jason?" Pamela said to Jason.
Jason nodded and carried you somewhere, you were really scared and didn't know what to do.
A day later, you found yourself in the woods following Jason everywhere he went even if he told you to stay put. You called him dad one time and he was sure he was gonna die a second time.
Freddy
You are 7 and you were sleeping when you awoke in a boiler room.
"Hello child." You turn back to see a burnt man with a raspy voice.
"Oh hello sir! Do you know where I am?"
Freddy was a bit confused by your reaction, why aren't you scared?
Instead of answering your question he tried scaring you by showing distorted faces or mutilated bodies or bad memories but none of them seemed to work.
"The hell are you smiling for."
"Nothing, you kinda remind me of my dad!"
The hell? Your dad?
Then you started giggling a bit.
"Let's go :D" You said as you tugged at his sweater and you were in a playground somewhere.
He was so confused. How the hell did you fucking do that???
He kept thinking about what you said to him earlier.
"Mister. Can you be my dad?"
Tf.
"Do i have to actually take care of you?"
"No, just be addressed as my dad."
He was thinking. He didn't have anything else to do anyways.
"I could use some company I guess."
"Yay!"
And then you two were in a mall somewhere.
Okay you've seriously got to stop doing that.
Candyman / Daniel
You were shoved into a room by your brother.
"Say it!"
"Say what??" You asked half sobbing
"Say candyman five times, or I won't let you out."
"Why!? Do you want me to die?" You asked fully sobbing
You were only 9 you didn't deserve this.
You heard multiple laughing outside the door.
"You finally caught on. Now do it."
You had to. You know he meant every word he said, and your parents aren't even gonna be here until next Friday so you had to.
"C-candyman.."
He has been summoned again. He sighed knowing what was to be done again.
Your brother yelled at you to hurry up.
"Candyman..!"
Daniel was quite surprised to see a child instead of a bunch of dumb teenagers or two couples making out. It wasn't anything new since he did see children doing it from time to time but what he did notice was that you were crying. And you were blindfolded and your hands seemed to be tired together.
"Candyman.."
Now he could hear around you. There was visible laughter and heard a chant of "say it, say it, say it" He was getting angry. Not at you but at those people behind the door.
"Candy man."
"Candyman!" You breath heavily, waiting for a sudden impact on you
But nothing. You heard the door knob aggressively shaking and some yelling behind the door and then you heard a soothing deep voice.
"Child.. Tell me, why are you here?"
You didn't know what to feel, happy that a mysterious man was not killing you or scared that a mysterious man was talking to you.
"T-they locked me inside.." Your lips were quivering and you sniffled a bit.
"I see..."
Then you heard the door swing open and multiple footsteps stomp inside.
"You brat, how the hell did you lock the door?"
"What..? I didn-"
You didn't even get to finish your sentence before you heard screeching and you felt warm liquid splatter on you.
"Guys..? What happened?"
"Come here child." You heard the voice again.
"No one will hurt you now." Your hands were untied and so did your blind fold, and you saw a tall elegant man in a brown coat with a hook for his right hand. He reached out his left hand and you took it. And just like that, you were his child now 👍.
Thomas
You were 1 and on a trip with your family to Texas. You were being carried by your sister and took a nap but then few moments later you were dropped carefully near a tree and she cried out, you were confused but then she ran away.
now you were scared you heard a very loud buzzing sound and a scream that sounded similar to your sisters and you were now crying.
You ran into the direction of the noise and you may have broken a twig or two and now a big man and that loud buzzing sound is coming towards you, panicking you were full on crying and screaming and the man seemed to stop on his tracks and look at you warily.
Why is there a baby here?
He put down his chainsaw and slowly and carefully picked you up and cradled you.
You stopped your crying a bit seeing that the man wasn't hurting you but you got hungry from all that napping earlier so you started crying again.
Thomas started panicking and quickly ran to his house and showed you to his mom, she knew exactly what to do and fed you some of the left over milk from the baby bottle
"Aren't they such a cute baby?"
"Well.. It doesn't hurt to have more children."
Thomas was supposed to be your big brother Or uncle but you instead called him dad and he couldn't be happier.

Friend's yandere brother HC
Tumblr media
• Your friend had a younger brother who is just sooo adorable! With his fiery red hair and cute dark eyes. He was the perfect example of that shy little sibling everyone fawned over. Well, everyone except your friend that is. She only thinks he's annoying and couldn't be bothered with him.
• You on the other hand thinks he's a nice kid who deserves some attention. Especially since the bullying is getting more frequent with time. Cyrus has always been smaller than other boys his age, which has made him the ideal target for mean kids. There were more times than one where you remembered defending him when you were young.
• Because of his smaller physique, Cyrus grew up with quite many insecurities. Those only grew worse the older he got. The other boys became tall, while he remained short. The other boys gained the ability to increase their muscle mass, whereas he was scrawny and weak. They were confident and he was shy and awkward. They aged and became older, Cyrus stayed the same. They managed to get the girls they liked. Cyrus did not.
• The only one he felt he could confide in was you. You, who was his older sister's best friend since kindergarten. You where his safe space, away from all the bad and pain. His sister couldn't think less of his existence and his parents weren't much better. The only one really paying any greater attention to him was you.
• And for that he was eternally grateful. Vey grateful.
It wasn't his fault. He hadn't meant to fall for you so hard. So deeply. But how could he not? Not when you were always there for him, letting him cry on your shoulder when he was feeling down and praising him when he did something good. You were like an angel who descended to earth. So perfect. So good.
• The worst time came when his stupid parents convinced themselves it would be best if he attended some boarding school far north from where you lived. He begged his parents to let him stay, and cried to the point he was sure he'd lost the ability to conjure tears. But nothing worked and they did not change their mind one inch. It'd be easier to move a boulder with your bare hands.
• It felt like he would go under the moment he left you. If he was so far away, how would he be able to see you? He wouldn't.
• God, how he hated that awful school. He wondered if his parents had put any thought into it at all, or if they just wanted to get rid of him like his sister. The adults there were incredibly strict and would rather die than allow any of the students to be happy, that's what it felt like most of the time. The other students weren't much better though, perhaps even wore in some aspects.
• They teased and picked on him. It wasn't rare to find his books drenched in the school's fountain, or his clothes gone after a P.E lesson. It was all hell which he couldn't escape from. He had no one. He tried consulting one of the teachers for help but they dismissed him and said that the others surely didn't mean any harm by it. That they were just playing around. but Cyrus had noticed the way they smirked as they disregarded his pleas when they just so happened to pass by.
• That was when he lost hope and everything turned grey, dark and cold. Everything except you of course. You were still his closest (only) friend and he wouldn't replace you for anything in the entire world. During his time away and all those lonely night he spent in his dorm, he thought of you. Your warmth, your voice, your smile. He loves all of you.
• In order to cure some of the loneliness, Cyrus wrote multiple diaries and notes relating to you. It helped him get through those hellish years without seeing you. He remembered an incident from his first year, one of the bullies had gotten their hand on his diary and read all of the disturbing romantic poems about you. He eventually got his diary back but at the cost of the harassment getting even worse. They called him a weirdo, a freak. A crazy obsessed creep.
• You were honestly a bit sad when Cyrus went away. While you weren't particularly close, you still liked him and enjoyed his company. Years passed and you eventually began to forget about the little boy who used to cling to you whenever he could. He didn't forget you.
• You sure got quite the surprise when an unfamiliar man turned up at your doorstep, asking how you were and if he could come in. Not being able to recignise the face of the person in front of you, you inquired about his identity.
"Huh? (Yn), it's me." He said in a confused manner.
"Uh, sorry I have no clue who you are, sir." You discreetly tried to back away, not liking how close this man was to you.
"it's me, Cyrus."
".......what..?"
• Yeah, it was a real surprise all right. The man currently in front of you looked nothing alike the boy you remembered. No, this man was obtusely tall; nearly reaching the top of your door. His hair wasn't red, it was black. He told you he had dyed it recently. He had matured and toned muscle was clearly visible from the tight fitted shirt he wore.
• Now that you recognised who he was, you invited him in. Exited to see him again. What had happened during these past years? What was boarding school like? Things like that. Cyrus chuckled at your enthusiasm. He answered all your questions truthfully no he didn't and told you about things he'd achieved, like all the sports games he's won, how he goes to the gym all the time and how good his grades were.
• In the beginning you were happy to see him, though the feeling vanished the more you spoke with him. You expressed joy at his success, but it had turned into bragging. Something you were not fond of. Eventually you had enough and politely kicked him out, saying you were busy and had things to do.
• Cyrus stood outside the door, silent at the fact you asked him to leave so quickly. This wasn't supposed to happen. You were supposed to be impressed with him, all his achievements. His appearance mot of all. Just look at him, he's the total opposite compared to his younger self. Now he's strong, tall and confident. Shouldn't you fall for him? What was he going to do now that it didn't work? Maybe he should try again some other time, you said you were busy after all. He knew you weren't.
• He needed to come up with a new plan. One that would make sure you fall in love with him too. Otherwise he'll be forced to do something drastic.

Reignited Flame-Steddie
TW: Violence, brief mention of Homophobia, swearing
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eddie fell hard, he knew that. He watched as the man he loved went after the girls at his school, getting whoever he pleased. Eddie knew, deep down, that these girls were just flings. Steve Harrington had girlfriends, but they were never serious, never permanent. He thought that maybe he still had a chance.
Steve had just gotten out of a relationship, immediately he was shrugging it off, laughing happily with his friends.
Eddie knew he was being naïve but how could he care when he was so damn excited? He wore his uncle’s old leather jacket for confidence, put on his jeans with the least holes, and even straightened his shoulder-length curls, all in the hope of Steve, King Steve, finally taking an interest.
He asked his uncle for help, all the questions he could think of. “What’d you like most when someone approached you?” “Did you ever get uncomfortable by things they did?” “What did you avoid?” “What should I be prepared for?"
Wayne truly loved the kid but sometimes he just needed to calm down. He explained that Eddie didn’t need advice, because if this guy was worth it, he could be himself.
With this advice, Eddie practiced guitar to cool off and left for school.
His uncle’s jacket made him feel invincible. He was prepared to finally, finally, talk to Steve.
He walked through the doors, putting on his best smile, optimistic and prepared for anything, except when he rounded that corner where he knew Steve would be, he froze.
There leaning against the wall was Steve with Nancy Wheeler on his arm.
He could feel his body go ridged, his heart breaking in his chest because this time Steve was looking at her like she was the only person in the entire world.
Eddie left school.
Sure, his dad was an asshole, and his mom was dead, but he thought that there was still good in the world. He thought that he had a chance at happiness.
The year passed in a blur, pot and booze his only comfort. He kept the jacket, eventually getting an awesome denim vest. He grew his hair, embraced his curls, and finally gave up on hiding his interests.
Steve and Nancy broke up and for a second, he thought that maybe, maybe, that little hope of love was flickering alive, he quickly decided to stomp out that flame.
Eddie almost felt bad for the fallen king of Hawkins High, after the new king (some dude named Billy) came into the role. Steve seemed lost, lonely even, but Eddie was not going to let “King Steve” hurt him again.
Billy had a thing against freaks, everyone knew he didn’t like different. Eddie basically had a target on his back.
The hit came unexpectedly, A mix between metal and flesh. A man and a locker. He puts his hands up to guard his face as best as he can but it’s really no use. The slurs hit his face and hands dig through his pockets.
He felt disgusting, refusing to cry, but he felt his breaking point approaching quickly as Billy brought his fist up.
Eddie shut his eyes, prepared to accept his fate, but suddenly the weight of the man was off him and he was being pulled away.
He opened his eyes to see Steve, his Steve, dragging him out of the building as fast as he could.
Steve practically threw him into the passenger seat of his BMW as he ran to the other side.
Eddie was in shock as they sped away.
“You ok? He didn’t hit you, did he?” Steve asks.
Eddie shakes his head.
“No, No I’m ok. Thanks for…for saving my ass back there,” he replies.
Steve nods.
“Well, if there’s one thing, I hate more than anything, it’s Billy. He’s…He is a prick so just stay away from him, alright?” Steve says.
“Alright, yeah. Thanks again.” Eddie says quickly.
They rode in silence for a while, Steve taking the long way back to the school just in case.
“You run the D&D group, Hellfire? It’s Eddie, right?” Steve asks.
Eddie smiles and nods, “That’s me!”
Steve smiles, “I got this middle schooler who’s a friend of mine, if you happen to still be there next year you should talk to him, the kid loves that stuff!”
Eddie chuckles, “I might just take you up on that Mr. King.”
Steve shakes his head, “Don’t call me that, I’m not that guy anymore.”
Eddie nods.
They drive for hours; Eddie can feel that familiar flame of an old crush burning in his chest. He’s surprised that Steve hadn’t dropped him off sooner, but as Eddie drives himself home in his rickety old van, his cheeks heat up at the thought of Steve Harrington.

Down in the dark where the waves won't go, I'm bound to find my way.
Sunny and Buggy disagree over the next steps of their life together leading to them spending time apart.
Rating: PG-13 to be safe for swearing and arguing. Warning: Each chapter will have a specific warning. This one just has upset children again. Both kids are upset and lonely at times. Sunny is great with kids, Buggy is learning. Both adults reflect on their relationship separately. Word Count: 2,111 A/N: The direct sequel to "No locked upon land...", the fic that started it all. I do not use "You" in this as now that Sunny is an established OC I decided not to go that route. This will be several chapters. Originally (lol) it was just two parts but... but I had to expand but I don't expect it to go much longer than the original fic. It's a few chapters longer than the original fic.
Title comes from "Sailing Song" by S.J. Tucker
Chapter 1 + Chapter 2 + Chapter 3 + Chapter 4 + Chapter 5 + Chapter 6 + Chapter 7 + Chapter 8 + Chapter 9 + Chapter 10 + Epilogue Taglist: @hey-august @lostfirefly
Chapter 4
Buggy reluctantly went to look for Little Sunny once he changed clothes. He really hoped the shirt would be fine but he doubted it. His wife knew how to get stains out but he wasn't sure where she was. She could have left him for all he knew and knowing that where they were at was frequented by pirates, what's to say she didn't run into someone who missed their chance with her last time and would jump at the opportunity?
No, no, he couldn't think that way. It was a silly disagreement on whether to have kids, that was all, and Buggy was right and Sunny was wrong, that was all that mattered.
He first checked all the rooms on the ship that he could, not seeing the little girl anywhere. He looked in the crow’s nest, at the helm, where the munitions were stored, everywhere. It wasn't until he bumped into Mohji that his first mate told him she had been with Richie for a half hour now, brushing his fur.
Buggy made sure he was a little calmer before approaching the little girl. “Uh, Sunny?”
She dropped the hair brush, startled by his voice, and tried to hide behind Richie. It didn't really work.
“I can still see you.” Buggy pointed out.
“Not if I don't want you to.” She told him as she looked over the lion’s head. The two got into a bit of a staring contest for a moment before she finally looked away. “I'm sorry I messed up your shirt. It was an accident.”
She apologized first? So that probably meant Buggy didn't need to apologize at all. It was her fault after all, she made the mess. He reacted like anyone would if they had soup spilled on them. But he thought about how his wife would have handled it. She would have been so sweet and kind to the kid, insisting that it was okay and that accidents happen, and as Buggy stood there, looking down at the little girl in front of him who looked like she might start crying again, he caved.
“I'm… sorry for yelling at you.” He managed to say, though it felt weird to do so. This was his wife as a child. Why did he scream at her? He never screamed at her like that when they were adults and married. Sure, they had some recent disagreements and he may have been a bit of an asshole, but she was no better. “It was an accident, you didn't mean it.”
“Can we still be friends?” She asked quietly. Buggy hated that. Was his wife really this sad and lonely as a child?
“Ugh, yes, we can still be friends.” He sighed. “Now, look, it's getting late and neither of us ate, so let's reheat the soup and sandwiches, okay? I think you're going to have to stay here for the night so I gotta make sure you're comfortable somewhere.”
Sunny petted Richie’s mane carefully, frowning a bit before looking back at Buggy. “Can I have a hug?”
“Wh-Why do you want a hug?”
“Because I feel sad.” She shrugged. “Hugs always make me feel better.”
Buggy gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, forcing himself to count to three. Was having a kid going to be like this? Once he made sure he was calm, he knelt down and let her hug him, not bothering to put his arms around her. It didn’t matter. Maybe this would be like when he was a kid and she’d go back to her time after a few days. He could only hope.
~
He found a cot for her to sleep on that he set up in his room. He wasn’t about to let her have his bed. She seemed fine as she settled herself down on the cot, pulling the blanket up to her chin as she smiled up at him.
“Good night, Mister Buggy!”
“Yea, yea, good night.” He turned the lights off before crawling into his own bed, hoping to fall asleep quickly so that when he’d wake up this would all be over. Barely a day with this kid and he’d already made her cry several times. Was this a test from the universe to prove to him that he definitely could not be a dad? He just wished his wife was around to see this so he could show her why it would be a terrible idea for them to be parents.
Part of him did feel guilty. He knew Sunny would be an excellent mom but he didn’t want her to have to take on all of the responsibility. He just didn’t feel like he’d be a good dad and it wouldn’t be fair if she shouldered everything. Why did she want to have one so badly? Why couldn’t they just continue on as they have been?
He rubbed his face and sighed, grumbling softly under his breath as he tried to fall asleep. It was hard not having his wife around. During the last week she wouldn’t touch him while they slept, going so far as to bring a separate blanket to bed to wrap up in. If Buggy tried to touch her she would wriggle away from him. He wished she wasn’t so stubborn.
“Mister Buggy?”
He almost screamed. Little Sunny was standing at the foot of the bed with the blanket draped over her as she looked at him with wide eyes. He clutched his heart, breathing heavily as he glared at her.
“What, kid?”
“I can’t sleep.”
“You haven’t even tried.” He snapped. “Just lay down and try, okay? It’s not hard.”
Sunny looked down and Buggy cursed himself quietly. Why did he have to react this way? She had done nothing wrong.
“Look, kid, if you want, you can… sleep on that side of the bed.” He told her as he pointed to his wife’s side. “There’s an extra blanket too. The bed is probably comfier than that cot anyway.”
“Really?”
“Yes! As long as you don’t wet the bed or something, I don’t care!” He hissed as she climbed onto his wife’s side. The little girl frowned at him as she fluffed the pillow.
“I’m ten. I don’t wet the bed.” She told him firmly. “I’m not a baby, Mister Buggy.”
“Coulda fooled me with how much you cry.” He muttered under his breath as he tried to get comfortable. He glanced over at Sunny, hoping she didn’t hear him, but she had her back to him and was wrapped up in the blankets. He could hear little sniffles coming from her and he sighed. Maybe tomorrow everything will be normal again.
~*~
Sunny had her foot propped up as she laid back on the cot. Roger had offered her his bed since she was injured, but she was fine to sleep on the cot. She couldn’t imagine taking his bed, he was the captain. It was sweet and he had insisted, but once she settled on the cot he gave up.
Buggy as a kid was… something. Since meeting Shanks as a kid and not having met him as an adult, she had nothing to compare it to, but she wondered if this was how siblings acted towards each other. Both boys teased each other relentlessly to the point of arguing. Three times today Sunny had to watch Rayleigh break up their little squabbles. The most recent time was when the boys argued over what would hurt worse: dropping a cannonball on your foot or falling out of the crow’s nest. This was while Sunny’s foot was being wrapped by the doctor.
She was getting a bit of a headache from them.
It was easier when it was just Buggy on her ship. He depended on her and she was happy about it. She wanted to make sure the boy felt safe and loved while he was with her because she only had her husband’s word to go off of with how he was raised. While she questioned some of the adults’ ways of speaking to kids (she came close to punching one when the crewman referred to Buggy as “Hey, brat!” when getting his attention), it wasn’t that bad. The boys had a place to live, food to eat, and were taken care of. Rayleigh and Roger watched out for Shanks and Buggy like they were their own sons. She appreciated how Roger had been worried for Buggy when he was missing for that short amount of time when she had him.
Was she being hard on her own husband for not wanting kids? When she saw her husband and the kid spend time together nearing the end of the kid’s stay, it was sweet and she thought he’d make a great dad. Sure, he tossed the boy into the water after meeting him, but afterwards they seemed to bond okay. They even made her breakfast together.
Sunny rubbed her face and looked up at the ceiling. It was hard to decide. She wanted kids. She wanted to have Buggy’s kids because she loved him so much but he had said hurtful things to her, called her ideas stupid and she wondered if she needed to give up. It hurt to think that it wouldn’t be a possibility for her, but maybe it was a decision she would need to think about: stay married or move on.
~
Someone was touching her arm and whispering her name. Sunny jolted awake, heart pounding as her eyes tried to focus on the figure in front of her. His blue hair and bright red nose came into focus first and she breathed a sigh of relief as she sat up.
“What’s wrong, honey?” She whispered as he looked down at his feet. “Are you okay? Do you feel sick? Did you have a bad dream?”
He just shrugged and crossed his arms, refusing to look at her. She frowned and pulled the covers back for him, letting him crawl into the cot beside her as he wrapped his arms around her.
“I’m sorry you got hurt.” He sniffed. “I’m sorry, Sunny, I didn’t mean to hurt you and I feel bad and Shanks said you weren’t going to marry me when I get older because I hurt you and it was an accident, really!”
“Oh, oh honey, shh.” She pulled the blankets over him and stroked his hair gently. She never knew a kid to be as excited about marriage as him. He still had years but he seemed rather fixated on the idea. “I forgive you, really. I know you didn’t mean to.”
“Are you still gonna wanna marry me when I get older?” He asked quietly. “I don’t want to be alone.”
“You’re not going to be alone.” She assured him, hoping their voices were quiet to not wake up the captain. “Never, I promise. You’ll have a crew, you’ll have me, and you’ll never have to worry, okay?” She kissed him on the forehead and wrapped her arms around him. “Get some sleep, okay? We’ll go with Captain Roger tomorrow afternoon to pick his coat up from the tailor.”
Buggy rubbed his eyes and looked up at her. “I don’t want you to go.”
She smiled sadly and tucked his hair back behind his ear gently. “Honey, you’ll be fine. I have to go back and be with you when you’re an adult. Remember what I said when we parted ways before? You can’t handle ten minutes without me. It’s still true. And you’ll meet me in a few years and it’s going to be fine, you just have to wait.”
“I want you to stay here.” He insisted as he sniffed. “You’d have fun here with me.”
She hated that a small part of her said to do it, to throw caution to the wind and join this crew. Why should she go back? Maybe… maybe she could do something to keep Roger from making the decisions that he did, maybe the boys wouldn’t turn their backs on each other, the crew could stay together…
But no, she couldn’t even consider that. She couldn’t change the history that happened even if she wanted to. She just tightened her arms around the boy, hugging him tightly before kissing him on the forehead.
“Get some sleep, okay?” She told him. “Maybe tomorrow you and I can make breakfast for the Captain, how does that sound? Hm? I think he’d appreciate it.”
He sighed softly but nodded, sniffling quietly as he settled down in her arms. He wondered if there was any way to convince her to stay.

Adeuce arranged marriage au plot bunny
Adeuce arranged marriage AU idea.  Arranged marriages are a common thing for mages in their world and Deuce and Ace’s moms arrange a marriage when they are like itty bitty babies.
They decide to bring them together every summer so that they wont be marrying complete strangers.  And maybe they’ll just naturally develop chemistry.
It goes about as well as one would expect lmao!  Really it’s a lot like canon, but maybe a little less hostile because kids.  But they kind of develop a like brother’s style relationship, you know as kids do.  Sometimes fighting like cats and dogs and other times they’re thick as thieves.
Then in middle school, Deuce goes through his deliquent phase and Ace is wtf.  and let’s face it, we know Ace wouldn’t tolerate that bullshit at all (even though he thinks Deuce looks really cool and kind of hot when he’s in bad boy mode.)  But they eventually have a big fight and both say some things and throw fists and spells and it’s pretty relationshipship ending?  And definitely engagement ending, right?
Like their parent’s don’t officially end it, but Deuce’s mom sees no point in going through with it when her son is being that kind of person.  Which probably feeds into the moment when he catches her crying over his bad behavior and has his big realization.  That and Deuce also has a lot of super truthful criticisms Ace made sticking in his head as well, so Deuce decides to change like in canon.
I’m not sure if during this time Ace dates that one girl he mentioned or not, because I actually feel like Ace is upright enough to not do that while engaged, though I can also see him being like “that’s something our parent’s decided.”  Also he’s mad and maybe curious and it goes like... in canon and he dumps her, also probably with a side realizing he’d have enjoyed hanging out with Deuce more.  And now Ace wishes he’d handled their fight differently even though he still thinks he was right.
Honestly, they’re both realizing they actually enjoyed each other’s company and those visits were the best part of summer vacation.  But well, they fucked it up and both have a little too much pride to just talk it out.  They don’t see each other that summer and it feels really damn lonely.
It’s only when they both get enroll in Night Raven College that they finally meet again.  Ace probably heard from his Mom about Deuce enrolling, but tried to play it off as nothing, because you know, we’re probalby not going to even be in the same dorm.  Deuce probably... some how managed not to hear it from his Mom.  She mentioned Ace was enrolled while he was half asleep or something and he forgot and she probably didn’t push him about it.
So when they see each other in the mirror chamber, they’re both dumbstruck.  Like... Ace is shocked by how much Deuce changed back to who he used to be.  Deuce is actually really glad to see Ace again and wants to like... clear the air and apologize.  But well they’re both prideful so it’s really awkward.  So like the prolouge chapter is them eventually clearing the air and making up and they like have big ex-boyfriend energy for the early part of the story (except they insist they’re not exes.)  Eventually at sometime someone (probably Cater) finds out they were engaged (Ace made some comment on magicam or something) and no they can never live it down.  All the couple jokes are like... amplifiied.
That said, I like to think they slowly work things out and realize they like each other and admit they actually do want to get married (I like to think sometime around ghost marriage because Deuce got jealous seeing Ace confess to Eliza and ended up owning up to it and teased Ace about his whole ideal relationship spiel and Ace admitted he had Deuce in mind during it) .
But they are still dumbasses and sometimes everyone wonders how they will survive marraige, but it’s also like, it works for them.

(Same setting as my previous ML: Paris Special thread, but breaking it into individual posts from now on because that was getting Huge.)
Given that we have secret identities and a very mixed bag of who knows whose within the current group, quick breakdown on that:
Gabriel: everyone knows he's Hesperia - Alya found out on her own, Nino found out via Alya, Adrien and Marinette found out by overhearing him detransform, and Chloe was told out of necessity
Alya and Nino: everyone knows them, as they don't have secret identities
Marinette and Adrien: only they know each others' civilian identities
Chloe: everyone knows because Gabriel brought her to the hideout immediately after the first battle she was in because she needed a place to safely detransform after all that.
Also, none of the kids are thrilled to have Chloe there - Nino, Alya, and Marinette all know her as the school bully and Adrien knows her as the Bourgeois Brat, no one is happy to see her when she first arrives. And for her part Chloe can sense that hostility and sure as heck isn't going to show an inch more weakness than she absolutely has to!
This intent lasts right up until Gabriel teaches her how to free Pollen, Pollen's first words are, "Thank-you, my Queen," and Chloe breaks down crying. Because she's had A Night, on top of having A Month, on top of having A Life, and she's fourteen and she just Can't anymore, okay? Everything's a mess and she's accidentally put herself in a world of fear and danger by trying to get her parents' approval, but also she has this little creature who seems to like her, for no reason that Chloe can figure out, and she just called Chloe her queen and Chloe can't right now, she really can't, what is she supposed to do in this situation, not hug Pollen (as best she can, given the size difference) and cry her eyes out?! That's not how life works.
Which is not to say that Chloe's fixed or knows how to be a good friend or person at this point, but she is open to changing and becoming better. And that's at least partially because, for the first time in her life, she's had someone else whose safety depended on her and whose approval she not only wants but seems to actually get. She's had a whole month of that, which is enough time to get some new routines and patterns started, and as starting places go, she could have way worse.
It's going to be interesting when Chloe eventually starts opening up more about her home life and it becomes easier to see how it's shaped her into the person she is. Because Marinette's own parents aren't physically abusive in this universe or even as bad as the Bourgeois-s, but they're far more strict and cold towards her than in canon. Both she and Chloe are actually very affection-starved and lonely, and acting out as a result, just in different ways due to their different circumstances. Chloe is loud and obnoxious and demands the attention that isn't being given to her, whereas Marinette has retreated into herself in a more quiet, sullen bubble of self-protection (because if she doesn't care, then it won't hurt that they don't care the way she needs them to).
However, Chloe's way more desperate for affection and approval in this setting even than she is in canon, because there at least her father gives a facade of caring when he's really just placating. All of which means that once she gets a source of freely-given (within reason) approval and affection from Pollen and Hesperia, she latches onto it hard and is willing to do a lot to keep ahold of it. Meanwhile Marinette is salty as heck in contrast to her sweet canon counterpart, and she is absolutely down to talk crap about people she dislikes, and Adrien's right there with her, meaning they both do find elements of Chloe's brattiness pretty entertaining when not aimed at them. Which is to say, they're going to get along surprisingly well once they've all had a chance to do some growing and get to know each other better. It's going to take all of Hesperia and Alya's powers of being the voice of reason and good influences to stop those three from going full mean girls on their enemies, just saying.
(Note: Nino gives the impression that he would be a good influence, but he is secretly a calm, quiet agent of chaos and isn't even a little bit above egging the three of them on if he thinks they're being funny or the person they're targeting deserves it. He's a very firmly good-aligned agent of chaos and an excellent friend, and he's good at knowing when the situation requires a serious approach, but still. Chaos.)
In contrast to canon. Chloe and Adrien don't have a history in this world beyond vaguely seeing each other at social events for 'important people,' but Chloe's parents do approve of her making a connection with Adrien Agreste.
Audrey: Oh yes, the Agrestes are a much more feasible level for you to reach for, definitely go spend time with them, Coraline. (Said fully in the mindset that Gabriel and Emilie were just barely important enough to be in on the miraculous secret before Emilie died, and that Gabriel's only dropped in importance since his wife's death.)
Also it gets her out of the hotel and out from under her parents' feet and makes her someone else's problem for awhile. This makes things very exciting for Adrien in regards to having to make sure his relationships with Chloe as himself and as Claw Noir don't overlap.

So there I was in my car fighting back tears to “You’re On Your Own, Kid” (because I was dressed too cute and I was in too much traffic and it was raining too hard for me to cry) because seeing my childhood friends’ gorgeous wedding pictures was making me spiral again (and that sounds ridiculously petty and I hate it because I really am so happy for them) and think about how I literally have not spoken to a guy my age since my college graduation and how I’m pretty sure I live in a bubble where men my age can’t come within a 500 yard radius of me and how when I told my mom how badly I want to get married she said “well, you have to actually meet some guys” and I said “how? How am I supposed to do that?” and she sat in stunned silence for a couple of seconds (I think that was the real cause of the spiraling, actually) and how all of my friends either live too far away or hate my guts now and how anyone who hadn’t been so conditioned to being alone for the past 21 years would have probably absolutely broken in my situation by now and the fact that I’M miserable and lonely is saying something and all I do is read my little books and watch my little shows and write my little stories to forget what my life is like I was literally at the point where I was like God do you hate me? What am I supposed to be learning from this??? What is the ever-loving point????? And then the minute I pull into my driveway I get an email that tickets to Hutchmoot (that I had been on a waitlist for because they were sold out) were available. So I guess I’m going to Hutchmoot and God doesn’t hate me.
