Recently, a package meant for us (red dot) was delivered to Airhouses (green dot), so we had to drive over & get it. You can see that this is kind of a circuitous loop along that yellow road and we don't know anyone out there, so we'd never driven this road before. On the way there we passed a tiny lochan (yellow dot) on the road to Airhouses. It's so small you can hardly see it on that map, and that dotted line is an unmade (dirt) road, so you can't see it on street view either. Aerial views & map close-ups are the best I can offer:

Ever since we drove past this, I've been covetously longing for my own giant pond. Can you imagine the frogs, the dragonflies, the newts . . . there's even room for ducks. I'm definitely going out there in the spring to see what the tadpole situation is.
