HOW TO MASTER WATERCOLOUR EYE MAKE-UP:

An eye makeup look that involves blending multiple shades of eyeshadow together to create a soft, blended effect that resembles a watercolour painting. It is a versatile technique that can be customised to suit your personal style and preferences. Experiment with different colour combinations and blending techniques to create a unique and stunning look that’s perfect for this summer!

STEP ONE: Prime your eyelids with an eyeshadow primer and apply an eyeshadow base with the FLAT APPLICATOR BRUSH 7 to ensure your eyeshadow stays in place all day.

STEP TWO: Choose 2 or 3 eyeshadow colours in complementary shades. You’ll want to choose colours that blend well together and create a soft, gradient effect. Lighter shades work best for this technique. Take your lightest eyeshadow colour and apply it to the inner corner of your eye, blending it outwards towards the middle of your eyelid using the TAPERED BRUSH 1.

STEP THREE: Using the same TAPERED BRUSH 1 take a slightly darker shade and apply it to the middle of your eyelid, blending it outwards towards the outer corner of your eye slightly.

STEP FOUR: Apply the lighter shade to the outer corner of your eye, using a the flat SHADER BRUSH 3.

STEP FIVE: Repeat this process with your remaining eyeshadow colours, gradually building up the intensity and blending as you go. Once you’ve achieved your desired look, use a clean blending brush to soften any harsh lines and create a seamless, blended effect.

An optional final step: You can use a mix of shimmery and matte shades for added dimension and there you have it! Don’t forget to take a photo or video and share it with us using the hashtag #VLGtutorials. Happy creating!
