My sisters both told me today that I’ve been so negative it’s been bringing them down emotionally and it made me so sad that my boss was like hey you’ve been crying for an hour straight why don’t you go home and get some rest

And now I’m just like cool so I’m too much for everyone around me and I’m pushing everyone away by being in such a rough space and this has been causing me to get physically ill more than my normal anxiety does and when I reach out it’s draining the people around me so tonight I’m just gonna have a bowl of ice cream and bundle myself in blankets and practice some breathing

Oof did not expect to be talking abt this today but I’ll give you the gist. /!\ WARNING: racism and antisemitism /!\ 

(btw the sh*t im gonna talk abt is from 2+ years ago I’m not aware of any recent p*wdiepie controversies I got better shit to do with my life)

He frequently made antisemitic/nazi jokes: Most notably he hired people on Fiverr to film themselves holding up a sign saying “death to all jews” and posted it on his channel.  He also used to dress up in Hitler cosplay and did the “heil” salute. 

He said the N word during a stream and refused to apologize for it claiming that “it was just a joke”. (Sidenote: this is the incident that got him dropped by Google and caused an uproar in the youtuber community, most notably Markiplier that made a defense video for P*wdiepie entitled “Respect” 🙄). 

He has repeatedly endorsed right wing/white supremacist content creators (ex: E;R channel, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro...).   

This doesn’t cover all the bad shit he’s done ofc but it’s the gist of it. I recommend reading this article if you want a more in depth commentary about it.
