I want to ask out my twin brother's girlfriend.

It's not as bad as it sounds. She's not really his girlfriend.

I'll try to explain.

We're colleagues, sort of. (Me and her— I'd rather starve to death than work for my brother.)

Last month, someone took a picture of us leaving the office. I was only walking her to her car but the person who took the picture wanted to imply that we were dating.

And that wouldn't have been an easy rumour for her to handle, so I got my brother (identical twin) to post a picture with her on his socials.

Obviously, just one picture wouldn't work to convince anyone, so they've been meeting up a couple times a week (they have similar interests, so they were friends already) to be seen together.

Now here's the issue— I never saw her like that before, and I thought it was just fucking annoying to watch people be lovey dovey, fake or not... but one of my other colleagues said it sounded like I was jealous.

And fuck, I am.

Do you think she'd be mad if I asked her out? I reacted pretty badly to the original picture. And I'm worried my brother likes her for real (those photos they're posting are kind of convincing...)

Edit: for everyone asking, no, I can't ask my brother. he'll know why, and if he really does like her I don't want to mess with it. and if he doesn't he won't let me hear the fucking end of it. i can hear the best man speech already.

thoughts and questions about erha...

recently just finished reading through all 311 of erha again...because the last time I read erha was like 3/4 years ago I have forgotten most of the plot twists and only remembered one or two (i mean can you blame me theres probably more than 10 plot twists i cant) and all i feel right now after finishing 2 bible worth of text is...IM UNSATISFIED with the ending!!!! i need to vent!!

like im a sucker for plot twist its a riveting read!! and although the sheer amount of plot twists is a little...excessive imo, I do think theres thought behind most of it like there were glimpses of SMJ being the villain from the start and most of them have some form of foreshadowing or like gradual build up in suspense. but the last plot twist???? hUH??? wdym theres suddenly a new type of butterly bone whatever demon thats syuuuuper untraceable and unnoticeable and Mo Ran is conveniently one of them and hes brought back to life for the 26th time???? HUHHHHH???? like maybe im wrong or missed it out cus i was reading frenetically but i dont think theres a single hint or instance to suspect Mo Ran has the demon blood in him?

urgh idk anyway convenient writing aside, aside from Xue Meng I dont think many of the side characters get a neat enough bow on their ending like would love more words about YWX and SMJ especially??? like he literally disappeared after sending CWN off like??? and get 5 sentences more or less. (i havent read the 39 extras maybe theres more there, I might have the last time i read erha but i have no recollection and im not in a hurry to read them, i need a break! why are there so many extras!) and dont even get me started on that split personality thing...I hate it!

also i have 2 genuine questions about the plot i might have missed it while reading cus I was to engrossed in trying to make sense of mtl but 1) so did SMJ have a proper crush on CWN or not like...? or was it just like a little splash of quirk in character cus at first I thought like its going to play a huge part as the story unravels but it...doesnt seem like it? and speaking of SMJ 2) what happened to the other butterfly bone demons that crossed the bridge after the demon gates closed and the brudge crumbled? did they just die?? or did they somehow make it into the demon realm at the expense of HBN? the whole last fight scene is a mess to try to imagine in my head...pls enlighten me so that i minimise restless nights thinking about erha's convulted ass plot and how my baby XZM is so wronged and done dirty by the author! heartless!!

SWIMMING SCENE INDEED i’m trying to make this not be too similar to fwtkac but there’s def a bit of overlap in things like pool scenes and whatnot (even though the outcomes of the scenes are different in each fic)…but yeah there’s def a little bit of drama just because even as a very young child karasu was down bad but like at the age of 7 it’s not as if he knows what that means yk 🤔 it’s also funny because rn i’m picturing baby karasu from epinagi so it’s more like “aww cute kid” (which is also the reader’s mindset so that’s good) but i need to get to when he enters his growth spurt era so i can be like 😏 HAHAHAHA

He walked exactly where her feet landed, staying just as silent as she did, much to his astonishment.

Kat slowly peeked around the corner, and stopped dead in her tracks. She turned her head to look at him, held a finger to her lips, and then pointed around the corner. Telling him that theres a person. She slowly crouched to the floor.

Then there was a voice.

"Dumb bitch thinking she can leave me. She's mine. She's not allowed to live without me." It was a masculine voice, with a hysterical edge to it. Malcolm and Kat looked at each other, and then Kat stood up and took two large steps forward, toward another hallway. The killer was just behind the wall she was standing next to. She looked around and then pointed behind her, at a fire alarm.

Running. The fire alarm sounds loud in his ears, reverberating through his entire being. Kat ran in front of him, down the stairs and around a corner. She finds a back door and waits, pulling Malcolm out with her. "Why are we at the back door?" He asks. "In case he uses this one." And as if on cue, a man bursts out of the door and Kats whole body twitches for a second. She holds up her gun.

"NYPD! you are under arrest!" The man shoots her a look, before he makes a beeline for the forest, running through the large expanse of grass surrounding them.

And Kat takes off in a dead sprint. She runs much faster then the man. Malcolm is kind of surprised as he tries to keep up with her. She's very skinny, and she looks borderline malnourished, but still, she runs faster then he had seen anyone run before.

Kat jumps up at the man, tackling him to the ground. "Get off me bitch!" She brings out handcuffs, and the man is cuffed in a matter of seconds. She pulls him up by his arms, and pulls his hood down.

The man has greasy, sandy blonde hair and dark, bloodshot eyes. She pushes him into Malcolm, and together they bring the still-fighting man to Gil. "She deserved it! She's a slut and she deserved it!" Dani pushes him into the police car and slams the door shut.

"I see your fire alarm plan worked."

"Yeah well. I was kind of just going with the flow. I figured it would work, and it did."

Malcolm eyes her through his tousled bangs.
