#kaladin puppy #borzoi mix #he’s matured soooooo much this last month #he crates himself when he’s sleepy (he’ll lightly nap on the bed then hop down into his crate for a full nap)#and he’s gotten si good at ‘you can sniff but you cant eat it’ even with like. raw meat when we’re cooking #which i think is a lot to ask of a puppy who is taller than the table and level with the food on the counter #he can still be nutso on walks bc he gets too excited when he sees his friends #but hes gotten WAY better at sitting politely to the side when people and strollers etc pass #even tho we’ve been slacking on training bc of life stuff #he’s such a joy :’)

Hey, so I’m sure All of us Strangers is a fantastic, devastating, movie. I however have only watched a small chunk of it because I had an incredibly uneasy feeling in my gut when his parents showed up. And then i realized that this is Irish in a Disco Pigs kinda way and yeeted my ass out of the equation because it’s been years since I’ve been able to watch disco pigs because it fucked me up in my adolescence and I don’t need this movie fucking me up in my adulthood, thank you very much.

all the shit i read on reddit about people living with roommates makes me so relieved that me and bf dont have any roommates because if i had to share my living space with someone who isnt my partner id actually die

#i just saw a reddit post where op left raw chicken in the sink for two days #because their roommates didnt do their dishes soon enough #RAW CHICKEN??? mf throw it away in the garbage #they kept saying they didnt toss it in the trash bc it would be too stinky #but apparently being exposed in the sink isnt too stinky?? girl what #theres this crazy thing called walking outside and throwing the trash in the trashcan outside #roommates sound so annoying. id have to share the living room and i wouldnt be able to freely walk around naked like tf? no #ny best friend who lives in colorado said he wants me and bf and him and our other friend to all get a house together to live in #and i love my colorado best friend but omfg i’m so not doing that #firstly all my friends are guys except me so idk that would be weird. i couldnt wear my robe around them it’s too revealing for my comfort #secondly not to be tmi but umm?? i don’t want them to hear me and my bf fuck LMAO that’s just embarrassing #thirdly im ngl me and my bf are slobs haha. not super badly but we slack on dishes a lot #i get them done before its too gross/smelly but our threshold for how cleanly the house needs to be is even #meanwhile colorado bestie is a clean freak and i just couldn’t 😭 LIKE IDK I LOVE PRIVACY #i love my friends i just can’t imagine living with people that aren’t my bf #me and bf have lived together since we were 17 so we’re very used to our schedules. having to get used to another’s just sounds bad

I love thinking I’m super behind on the homework but then discovering I’m actually sound

#at least three people that i know of haven’t done last week’s homework #which isn’t toooo crazy. BUT. what is crazy is that i’ve just seen someone post their code in the slack channel for debugging help #and it’s for an exercise we were given more than two weeks ago #which begs the question of WHY i’ve been trying to get all my homework done within a week of it being set #i haven’t always managed it. i haven’t started on the homework from last wednesday because i’m 85% sure i’ve broken my 11ty site #and i haven’t broken it so badly that i can’t salvage it but it’s also like….. i’d rather just create a new one than fix it #like i’d rather set up a completely new repo and everything #because my current repo is in a stupid place #i also need to find out how to add bootstrap to a nunjuck file. i’m pretty sure my instructor explained it during the last class #but the overall concept of hunting down the recording sounds absolutely exhausting to me #i’ll get it done this weekend #even if our deadlines are super flexible (as they seem to be lol) i don’t want to be rushing to get a bunch of work done at the end of the #course. like i know there are a couple of things i’ll want to fix and resubmit (which we’re allowed to do apparently) but i want everything #to be more or less done in fairly good time #i just don’t want to have to worry about dozens of pieces of work all at once #like i feel bad enough right now knowing i have 2 classes’ worth of homework to get through and i’m about to receive more homework today #i can’t imagine how i’d feel if i was still working on stuff from week two. couldn’t be me but you all stay safe out there #personal
