Have you ever drawn Flug where you can see his face? Do you have any headcanons for what's underneath?

half-joke hc based on the german Youtuber GermanLetsPlay. he's never shown his face and doesn't plan to, however we know what his hair looks like bc he hides behind a white mask instead of a bag or anything else... and while we know this is not canon by now, I still always wanted to believe that Flug is half-german bc I am.

other than that, this might be an unpopular opinion but... I'm scared. I do not wanna know what Flug looks like. I wish we would NEVER know.

I love the mystery about him. I'm certain a big part of the appeal is going to get lost for me. at my current standpoint I can't imagine any possible design that would NOT "ruin" him for me. no matter what happens I firmly believe it's going to be a downgrade for me.

i love seeing based reddit takes so much, like i disagree with the Why for a lot of this, but together these two are closer than half of this fandom on twitter and tumblr imo

I hate capitalism sm because if you aren't exploiting or mass producing then you r not profiting off your product. Example of this is custom made art coms , like sure a custom made crochet top is 5o bucks but like it took u like 5-10 hrs of hard work and detailed labour to make a high quality product. But if you can mass produce a polyester shirt and make 100 low quality shirts you make more money but your customer gets less value . As someone who loves both stem and arts this work makes me wanna jump.

when there's an artist you admire and you like they're OCs of but they suddenly start to develop it into a show and you have a sinking feeling that it won't go over well

#Not naming names and I don't mean this as hate #But I have the feeling that it might be too early for these characters to get a show #Especially when it seems it's gonna be serialized #Okay the characters can develop while they're in a show. Fine. But they're personal OCs #And they're the most earnest kind #And having them be developed while working within boundaries and deadlines (it's indie so it will be more relaxed but still)#Doesn't sound like something the creator will really enjoy #Idk them but from what I've seen if his posts they seem very young and we'll... Inexperienced #I really hope I'm wrong #But I'm not sure if there was even an announcement for the plot so 😬#And for further context an indie studio (which just seems to be starting up which is another red flag for me) is developing it with him #Which ofc will have to lead to compromising with teams and some demands and stuff like that #Who knows. Maybe he can work great with them #But I'm still like 😬😬😬#Too many things can go so so wrong if I'm wrong about this I'm gonna be so glad but #Idk #😬#And it's already in motion they have already made a bunch of shorts (like min-less than a min long)#And they're fine. They're okay for I guess character exploration #(though I feel like one of the two main protags isn't getting enough development)#But they're kinda nothing burgers. I'VE FINALLY FINISHED BROTHERSHIP IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!

#clai speaks #spoilers in the tags probably #ahhh first of all i am still astounded the game exists at all. we all thought m&l was done forever but here it is!!!#the timing of me playing superstar saga and getting really into mario last year couldnt have been better #i mean i probably would have played brothership still even if mario hadnt become a main interest of mine like that. but anyway #absolutely stellar re-entry into the series it did not disappoint in the SLIGHTEST #i think i 100%'d it? only thing i didnt do was finish that last dyode dance sequence but like its fiiiine #took about 50 hours i didnt get a chance to check my final time. really surprised that the game went that long!#i dont think it was a bad thing at all though. the game mostly didnt feel like it was overstaying its welcome #i did think lottacoins and the lower level solitree went a tad too long and i didnt like them but only a little. they're still fine sections #surprised that i didnt even feel like the sidequests were a drag they were all alright!#character interactions were so good ofc. love the new cast!! starlow felt a bit flat which is a shame but she also didnt appear much so #the sidequest where she visits bowser and he calls her chippy!!!! made me so happy!!!!!#all the callbacks were so good i'm glad they can still do that. yelled out loud after finding the peasley reef #docking points for no dreambert reef however. jail worthy offence #on reclusa specifically i dont have a lot to say about his character he's just your typical evil for the sake of evil villain #but i have to say i Love his design. the really exaggerated facial expressions and that clown neck frill. really fun character actually!!#ahhh call me childish but i'm never a fan of endings where friends separate but i like to think the second uni-tree--#--will allow them to link back up once its grown and can generate more connectar to do it #cant say if its my favorite yet bc recency bias is still too fresh but its absolutely my second favorite m&l game at least!!#i havent played paper jam yet i wanted to play the original paper mario and spm first. but i always hear its bad so??#brothership is at least on par with dream team for me rn. absolutely stellar game #i hope this means we'll get more m&l someday! i've already left a very positive response on the survey they put out #anyway. now to decide what to play next because i have a MASSIVE backlog of games and i didnt think this would take this long BJDHJFHF #10/10!!!! please play brothership immediately

SEMI HIATUS NOTE. You might've noticed that i'm even more mia than usual, so I just wanted to say that this will probably continue for now. december is generally a busy month (for everyone, I know) & also my birthday month. this year i'm gonna spend it on a trip to Vienna with my sisters & we're still planning everything for that. apart from that some health related things are causing me anxiety atm & makes me feel even more stressed & not in a writing mood. so long story short: tumblr is simply not a priority rn & I will only write when I'm really in the headspace. let's get the obvious out here in the open. i love NU METAL. and many other music genres too, some honorable mentions including post-grunge, eurodance, hardcore hip hop, folk rock, metalcore, digital hardcore, prog rock, bebop, hyperpop, and plenty more. but NU METAL i love the chunky bassy rhythm sections, i love the freaky ridiculous vocal styles, i love how stupidly earnest a lot of the songs are, i love the terrible rapping, i love the stupid outfits...... it's so beautiful. to me.......
