Inktober 14 - CLOCK Mrs Weasley glanced at the clock in the corner. Harry liked this clock. It was completely useless if you wanted to know the time, but otherwise very informative. It had nine golden hands, and each of them was engraved with one of the Weasley family's names. There were no numerals around the face, but descriptions of where each family member might be. A fabulous lockdown project I made with one of my customers. It’s a Harry Potter ‘Weasley’ clock. The locations around the edge were inspired by the Godby family’s ideas. I then illustrated them and had the artwork printed as a fade resistant print. The family them purchased some large clock hands which we personalised with stick on letters from @the_hidden_shed_ The family can move the clock hands to the location that they are travelling to. Weasley Clock

The original inspiration for my clock was this project on the littlebits website:

it could definitely use a makeover, but the idea was really cool and I think it would be fun to have to know where your housemates are or if a professor is around campus or if they already left to go home. I began to look for other "Weasley clock" ideas online and there ended up being a handful! They're all done so differently, with different technology and stuff but each has its own charms as well as problems. This guy managed to get multiple people on the clock by using different thicknesses for the servo:

A Personal Weasley Clock

I finished putting together a personal version of the Weasley clock from the Harry Potter novels, as a Christmas project.

The spoons correspond to my horse Bello, parrot Cody, cat Floof, and dog Jumblie.

They rarely stray from the farm, so I needed to conjure no magic for the spoons to track them.
