Hey guys, been a minute, hasn't it? I thought I might give another update since the last post was about 6 months ago and I started to feel bad. And i've realized a lot of you guys probably thought I was dead laying in a field somewhere but no worries. This is a little proof of life to you all so there we have. By the title of this post you're probably wondering what possibly could've happened in 6 or so months that prevented me from uploading all this time. Well, there's a lot actually. I've been spending a lot of time with Sam and Patrick, and there's this other girl, Mary Elizabeth who I've been getting to know as well. Although, "getting to know" is a bit of an overstatement. She's pretty, but she just does not stop talking about herself all the time. Christmas time was very special to me because that's when I gave Sam my Aunt Helen's favourite record. She also brought me to her room where a typewriter with my name on it layed with a paper saying "Write about us." And I totally didn't have my first kiss with her just then. Have I mentioned that I'm starring in the Punk Rocky Horror Film? When I was with Mary Elizabeth, I'd try and make Sam jealous so that she might want to be with me instead of her boyfriend but she doesn't get jealous. But it got to the point where she asked me to the Sadie Hawkins dance and I had to act like her boyfriend for months. You're probably thinking why didn't you just tell her no? It's because I can't ok? But after a few months, we were playing truth or dare and I was dared to kiss the most beautiful girl in the room. I still don't know why I chose to kiss Sam in front of her, even Sam was shocked. I knew I messed everything up and Patrick brought me home saying that I need to stay away for a long time. But at lunch today, Patrick was in a fight with Brad who had him pinned by 2 other guys and beating him. I know I couldn't just leave him even if I had to stay away. He's my friend, so I threw the hardest punch and said hurt my friend again and i'll make you blind. This was easily one of my most proud moments but I got sent to the office right after. Though when I got out, Sam was there to pick me up. Although she told me she was still mad about what I did to Mary Elizabeth, she hugged and thanked me for saving Patrick. And we were all back to being friends again. I apologize for spamming you all but this has been the most anything that has happened to me in a while. Before I go, I feel like this song really sums up everything that happened to me in this period of time and I hope you enjoy it. I was finally the hero for once.

The song “Heroes” is a song written by David Bowie which is the third song on the album “Heroes”. Originally, the song was about his friend who was meeting someone but he was already married. To avoid this coming to his wife’s attention, Bowie filled in details with his imagination and kept names anonymous. When I listened to this song, it gave me the same sense of infinity when the three of us drive under the tunnel. With such emotion and memories attached to that song, it is no surprise that this song is special to me.
