Now who was that feisty boy? Jacob was used to hearing such threats, but that one over there? He really had a fire in his eyes the herald liked. And even though Jacob shortened the distance between them slightly, there was no sign that the soldier would underestimate the young man. He never did.

“And you´re coming all the way here to me to tell me that? Don´t fret, boy. Sooner or later I will touch all of your friends…and your family. We will see soon enough if they are just weak, or actually strong and valuable. Everyone has a purpose. Even someone like you, who doesn´t know his place yet. Threatening me won´t help you.”

His shoulders were squared, spine straight when Jacob approached. He didn’t back down, his jaw locked and muscles tight. He was ready to take whatever he might throw at him, especially if it were for his friends. Green eyes narrow slightly when he’s called ‘boy’ but he otherwise shows no reaction to what he has to say. Alex grinds his teeth, forces himself not to react to his needling. It’s what he did. It’s what they all did here.

“It’s not a threat.” He says, voice soft when Jacob finishes talking. “It’s a promise.” His parents were safe, hidden away in New York City and working their jobs. Hell, his dad should be somewhere halfway around the world right now which just left Sara and Hannah. It was bad enough he’d dragged the three of them here, told them this would be THE story to end their vlog on. Guilt weighs heavy on his shoulders. “I found my purpose already. Exposing this cult for the doomsday bullshit it is.” The video was out, the upload was online. There wasn’t anything more he could do except try and get to Sara and Hannah––  get them out.

So, first and foremost: congratulations on having perfect taste in videogame-characters! Because we both know Jacob is just the best. No debating.

Other than that, I of course can only speak for myself and I know some people on tumblr rather avoid duplicates. But for me: I don’t mind duplicates and I am always excited to talk to someone who likes the same characters that I like! As far as I am concerned every portrayal is quite unique and everyone has their own headcanons. So you are very welcome to me. :D

I’d even go the mile and flat out say: we can also rp together ( of course only if you want to) - twin-AUs are a thing. Or all the other potential behind duplicates. I find it rather interesting!

He was making weapons at a work bench under the watchful eyes of his former enemies. Being a Seed or not, they had to admit he knew what he was doing here. He seemed to enjoy this work, considering he wasn´t allowed to do it in New Eden. After a while, blue hues saw a young boy approaching. "Yes?"

Wheaty didn’t givea flying fuck about Jacob Seed being good at building weapons. Ofcourse he was good in creating something that was made to killothers. What else?

He had beenrevolting at the idea of letting Jacob come here. He had been fuming,arguing against it, calling them all insane. Jacob Seed had destroyedhundreds of lives. He had killed. He had tortured. Friends and familyof theirs. And now they wanted this bastard here?

Add insult toinjury, as Wheaty walked straight up to that workbench. Thatmotherfucker didn’t even recognize him. Probably hadn’t given adamn about everyone he had made suffer when taking apart theWhitetails.If he could, Wheaty would shoot this man right hereand there. Maybe he would.

Oh, just look at those eyes…He wanted to rebel, but his brain told him to be careful for once. Because Alex knew exactly what the Seeds were willing to do, how far they were willing to go to get what they wanted. A threat from Jacob never was an empty one.

Blue hues stared back, an unwavering look from a man who seemed to know nothing but war and his purpose.

“So you actually can shut up for once, if you have to. That´s an improvement. maybe you will be of use for us after all. We´ll see. But you want to say something so bad, hm?

         Talk.”

It was an order, no permission. Alex still had to learn his place here in Hope County. The sinners didn´t make the rules around here.

Green meets blue, a stand off that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere until Jacob breaks the silence with his own voice. Alex swallows down the urge to say something, to defend himself or make a smart remark about how he wasn’t doing it for him. It was survival, it was a tactic to see another day. Nothing more than that. Then Jacob says one word, a command.

The temptation to turn it around on him and maintain his silence is strong, but Alex folds on this particular issue. He’s willing to compromise to a degree. “You sure?” He asks for confirmation, a little bite to his words because he isn’t petty but he can be, just like he can be silent. Alex knew when to dance around a topic, how to carefully word something and handle a situation. He’d been pushing the boundaries in Hope County. There were limits.

“Why not just cut out people’s tongues if you don’t want their input?”
