I didn’t read the name of this video. At the first glance it’s just a cute illustrative animation project. But later I find out that there is a concept, the idea, to show the light in life. So, I continue to look for a concept for my project, in oredr to move away from only technique-based approach.

To be honest – the idea for »Traveling Lights« came to us by accident. We were fooling around with geometric objects while developing a logo design. We liked the idea of combining simple shapes and then creating a completely new context, only by excluding intersecting shape areas. In our case – a circle and a triangle became the snowy top of a mountain in front of the sun. With this picture in mind we started developing a minimalistic world, brought to life by the use of ambient noise and a haunting minimalistic score.

Take a moment and lose yourself in the abstract realism of this world.

What makes you a grown-up? Is it a proper job or a driver's licence? It's tricky to answer this question and actually we love to keep on seeing and doing things from a child's perspective. Just like the joyful and colorful cartoon character Marco Dottori does in our new clip for Toyota's Stories Of Better – he will never lose that passion of a child.

We produced this charming looking 2D­-animated short film in cooperation with our new Sehsucht talents Felix Meyer and Pascal Monaco from We Think Things. Have a look at the smooth and still remarkably warm style!

Here's a very short animation idea that was floating in our head for a bit. It's called "I Got Stripes" and is basically about a short-lived identy crisis. ;)

It has a very minimal character design – we tried to mostly work just with one or two strokes per character. Have fun!

This project was meant to be a promo video for an app quite similar to qype. Sadly we never got to finish it and the app didn't either.

The original idea behind it was to »[…] follow a group of friends from one morning to the next and discover together with them how different the definitions of hot spots can be. Even though these places are so diverse, "Hot Spots" manages to unite our group of friends in the end.«

In order to share this with you and prevent the video from gathering too much dust, we replaced every app element and logo in the video and renamed the app to »Hot Spots«.

We Think Things teamed up with production company Woodblock to produce this sleek and energetic broadcast package for KAYAK’s sponsorship of the 2017 Formula One season on Channel 4. Utilizing a vibrant color blocking style driven by dynamic abstract graphic details, a fast-paced and visually stunning look was achieved to showcase the speed of the race, along with KAYAK’s offerings as an international travel search tool.
