ok now explaining their cutie marks bc i felt smart for coming up with them:

Abe's is supposed to be a combination of a top hat and lighthouse. A top hat for what i hope are obvious reasons, and lighthouse because his house has lighthouse decor literally everywhere (he doesn't have any of the decor in his room though, so it might just be his foster parents who really like lighthouses but idc let me have this) I also thought just having a top hat as his cutie mark would be too boring so I wanted to add something extra to it lol. The hat kinda gets lost in the design tho and I don't really think people would see it if I didn't point it out but WHATEVERR (note from after I finished writing this: I just remembered Joan's...dream and Abe's lighthouse impression from the sleepover episode, that was NOT intentional 😭😭😭😭😭)

Topher's cutie mark is a horseshoe surrounding the earth, meant to look like a globe. The earth is pear-shaped because Topher has a globe in his room and it looks like that 😭 Also the horseshoe looks like the letter C.... like.... Christopher Columbus..... In this au or whatever I hc he got his cutie mark when he was younger, and when Christopher Columbus got "cancelled" he started covering it up, like how he changed his name (also this implies that all the clone parents are real and ponies in this universe which I think is really funny) Topher's fake cutie mark is a rainbow because of his whole woke ally thing he's got going on 💀 Also a fake cutie mark because he's fake woke...do u get me

Anyway heres some lore about how they met!!

Ima is from the North pole and she made her way to the south to get healing lessons from Katara!! But she got attacked by some random ass animal leaving her arm torn (the scars on it.)

So she quickly finds the healing hut and Kya is her healer!! And from the moment Ima see’s Kya she is SMITTEN like INLOVE and is all gushy the whole healing session, they just talk and talk during it and get along very well!!

Anyway Katara invites Ima to stay with them while she gets on her feet, and Ima and Kya just fall more and more inlove until Kya finally makes a move because Ima was too cowardly to do so.

Then they obviously start dating and theyre literally so happy with eachother like the gfs ever THEN like 2 years into it Kya asks Ima to marry her with a betrothal necklace !!! Matching Kya’s too.

Then they get married now wives then adopt a kid who’s mom DIED during birth.

Theyre canon idc the only real Kya wife is ima for real🙏🙏 MY SILLIES EVER THEYRE SO CANOOONNN!!! I love them so much I love being Kya’s NUMBER ONE FAN AND LOVER RAAA!!!🙏🙏🙏💞💞 Kya<3<3 !!!

@starswallowingsea YAY okay im being a hater about part 3 again it just pisses me off because it's like. it's almost good. how do you fuck up "insane road trip across half the world to kill your evil vampire great great uncle " so badly. And Yet. there r so many shit moments like fuckingg alessi I think his name was and so many almost good but lacking moments like death 13. I could write a million essays on my thoughts on death 13. but my biggest complaint is the characters themselves godddd . araki I'm shaking you aggressively

all the characters go on about omg these guys mean so much to me we've become so close over this trip bla bla bla but like. they don't seem close at all. none of them. unironically the best developed relationship is between polnareff and iggy. who is a dog who is taken to help these guys out against his will and is not happy about it. and somehow their relationship has the most development out of any between the six main characters and even has a really emotional and climactic ending with iggys death. other than that the relationships are SO lacking like ig avpol is pretty decent but thinking about them pisses me off for unrelated reasons so let's ignore that.

kakyoins whole dying monologue is about how he never had any friends growing up whateverr and now in this past month he's made real friends and they're so important to him like bro idc... I would care more about this if he had genuine interactions with the rest of the cast after his introduction but he really doesn't and it just makes the whole thing feel really unimpactful. kakyoin as a character is also very lacking like he has SUCH a good introduction like hi everyone here's this 17 year old autistic guy who has something deeply wrong with him 💖 he does this really cool thing where he paints and then when he slashes across the painting in red it also affects the subject irl 💖 this will never be brought up again btw 💖 also he has this mini arc that focuses on him discovering the enemy stand user is in a dream world and literally carving words into his arm with a knife so he won't forget when he wakes up and trying to convince the others they're in danger but they reject everything he's saying and call him crazy which plays on his own character issues with being shunned and people not acknowledging him. and then it ends with no real closure oh they defeated the stand user and now everyone is fine 💖 as if this isn't gonna change his relationship with the rest of the group because the first people he grew close with didn't believe him when it was really important for them to. and so that's never addressed + jotaro doesn't speak one word to him for these episodes he's just there and also kakyoin feeds a baby shit at the end. fucking whatever. he's insane and this needs to be brought up more and it just isn't. he's also absent for a lot of the build up to the final battle but shows up five minutes late with some new sunglasses so that's whatever. araki was a coward for not giving him heart sunglasses. anyway that's enough on kakyoin I am so full of rage

jotaro I also have so many issues with he's soooo aghhgh. hi here's this guy he's 17 he's autistic he's a delinquent at school he has the makings of a really interesting relationship with his mother which is never explored because araki hates holly kujos guts and it makes me upset because she's unironically my fav part 3 character despite her five minutes of screentime in 50 episodes. I think about her more than I think about most of the main characters. Anyway. jotaro is also really interesting in theory but not much of this is ever really elaborated on he's not that good in part 4 either idk about part 6 I haven't got that far yet but anyway a lot of his interesting character points are ignored in making him just. cool quiet strong protagonist yk. also he doesn't Do much at least not for the first half of part 3 he has some good moments but likeee polnareff has more dedicated episodes than jotaro does yk. I really enjoy the lovers episodes they have some pretty good character moments for him but still it's not enough to make a compelling protagonist imo. I like him a lot but I feel that I like my version of him based on my own speculations about the joestar/kujo family and his early life yk like canon really doesn't give us much. he has like NO relationship with his grandpa joseph for like most of the series up until like. the final fight. which pisses me off particularly because I love family relationships so much I want them to be interesting I want them to be complicated. and they just are not. again the closest we have to anything about their relationship is the lovers episodes where jotaro is letting the enemy guy essentially do whatever to him without retaliation in order to protect joseph but that's not even particularly out of care for him it's just because it would suck if his teammate died yk. aghghh. and like I said earlier he has like no real relationship with kakyoin either they are just there and I will never understand why shipping them is so popular it's just a symptom of them being the only characters the same age honestly. like they could be interesting and I've seen people's interpretations of them that r really good but guys... they're so nothing in canon. like the wonderful tumblr user ot3 said. there's better yaoi. (cough. cj. cough.)

also one of my fav relationships in part 3 is whatever dio and vanilla ice had going on but that is because I get all excited whenever there's unhealthy vampiric devotion. I think they were so good shoutout to vanilla ice my good friend vanilla ice. I too have a thing for sexy unhinged vampires. he was there for like. 5 episodes max probably less and they still had a more compelling relationship than the jotakak girlies could ever dream of. anyway I will leave it there for now this has been tia being a hater tune in for more tomorrow at 5
