Happy Throwback Thursday everyone! 👋 Today I want to share a little more about how the Oneiro Cardigan came to life. #oneiroCardigan About one year ago I knit the very first version. When the above photo was taken, I had not even submitted the design to Pompom Magazine and it did not have its official name yet. I called it Zuckerwatte Cardigan back then. 'Zuckerwatte' is the German word for cotton candy. Both the color and the fluffy fabric were the inspiration for the name. But 'Oneiro' is so much more sophisticated than that. 🥰 I still remember seeing the mood board for the call of submission for Issue 40: Dreamscape 😍 It was full soft shapes, pastel colors and had a wonderful dreamy athmosphere. I thought that my cardigan was a perfect match, so I gathered all my courage and decided to submit it.
