okay okay so William's son dies and, obviously, he is devistated but he's been squashing down his own emotions for so so so long he just kinda files that away with everything else. Compartmentilises the fuck out of it. So Michael wakes up the day after to his dad humming while making breakfast. Henry sees him a week later at work and he's still smiling and chipper. Everyone is uneasy.

Picturing Ennard (as Michael) trying to mimc his voice to his neighbors so as to not arouse suspicion, but he didn’t say a single word the entire time he was down there, (didn’t even scream when they killed him,) so they don’t know what he sounds like. All they have to go off is Circus Baby’s description of his voice.

So if you talked to him his voice would just be a little bit wrong. Not in a way you could ever put your finger on, he had the same accent, same pitch, mostly the same inflection, but it’s just off. Just like the rest of him.

I think that it would be really funny, for how proud William is for being British, he just could not for the life of him stomach tea, like he still drinks it but its because he "simply has to" (he's grasping the mug handle with enough strength to cut off the circulation in someone's hand as he's drinking it, mind you) and Michael on the other hand, just, loves tea, and it sparks this petty jealously out of William, because why can his pathetic loser son drink tea and not HIM

and it leads to funny scenarios like -William struggling to stomach some Earl Grey- "Father, you do know you don't have to drink it-" -William throwing the mug at the wall and grabbing Michael by the collar and going:- "YOU THINK YOURE SOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN ME, DON'T YOU, MICHAEL? HMM? GO AHEAD AND LAUGH! LAUGH! LAUGH AT YOUR PATHETIC FATHER FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO DRINK THE SYMBOL OF BRITISH PRIDE!"

"FATHER I JUST SAID YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO DRINK IT-" "WHY? BECAUSE YOU WISH TO KEEP THAT LEVERAGE ON ME? OHOHO, YOUR SCHEMES WON'T WORK THAT EASY ON ME, MICHAEL!"

The last Michael sees of his father is on the cameras in the attraction—and then, as mentioned, when the fire happens, he can’t find Springtrap, and has to go.

After that, he’s not even sure what happened. Pizza Sim is three years after this, so for three years, Michael is just kind of like, “Maybe he’s actually gone.”

Which is why, when he starts to work with Henry, he never mentions the rabbit to him—so Henry is clueless about his old friend. Michael thinks he’s gone, and so does Henry—but under different circumstances.

Then, the night he finds Scraptrap outside, Michael isn’t sure what to think—other than the fact that he was wrong, and his father’s fine. ...At least until Henry goes through with his plan.

Eveyone around him clocks how strange and kinda unhealthy this is btw like Bill outright tells him he killed those kids in the 90s or whatever and Mike responds like "uh-huh" (not looking up from his gameboy) and Bill is, rightfully, a bit concerned.
