Teru - Chai Tea

I like to think that Teru is quite romantic. He knows what he’s doing, and he knows actually what you like. Teru is a great listener, so whenever you ramble on about things that may seem pointless to others, he’s always paying attention. Anything his beloved says has great importance to him. So even though he may not be looking at you while you're speaking, don’t be disheartened! He’s always listening to you. Of course, he gathers all the information you say, including if anything’s bothering you. In a relationship, no matter how tired he is, Teru will always try to make your life easier because he loves you. Struggling with school? He’ll help you with homework and study with you. Need someone to talk to? He’ll lend you his shoulder and let you talk away. People bothering you? Death for them.

He cares so much about you. He makes sure to compliment you daily and is the type to send you those good morning text messages. If you’re ever having one of those bad hair days he’ll definitely be down to just sit down with you, comb and brush in hand. He has a lot of experience with messy hair, he has to deal with Tiara every day! He would comb any knots out of your hair with the utmost care, trying not to yank too suddenly or cause you pain. He would recommend some shampoo and condition as well (how else do you think he keeps his hair so soft?) He is actually a quite motherly and caring lover. The only time he may seem overbearing is if you mingling with supernaturals or if you’re injured, and well, given his personality, you can’t blame him. He appreciates you on the daily, peppering your face in kisses.

Teru likes to give gifts to you. It can’t be anything too big or extravagant, unfortunately, he doesn’t want his fangirls to notice and badger you for dating him. So the presents tend to be small but meaningful. He might give you one of those spirit bracelets he wears so those pesky supernaturals won’t bother you, or perhaps a new clip for your hair. He tends to buy things that remind him of you impulsively so you might have a little section at home just dedicated to all the presents you’ve received from him.

A lot of time is spent in the student council room. No one can bother you two in there, and Teru usually kicks Akane out when he wants to spend some time with you alone. There’s actually a lot of things you can do in there. Whether it’s you two eating lunch together (he likes to tease you by feeding you) or Teru taking a break by napping in your lap while you finish some paperwork for him. He is pretty affectionate in private and doesn’t hesitate to kiss you and whatnot. He loves seeing you all flustered and blushy because of him! He also likes to tease you by flicking your forehead playfully (not to be mean, it’s an act of caring and affection from him) and also ruffle your hair, and then smooth it out. Expect a lot of head pats as well.

Teru would like to take you places but most of the time he can’t because he doesn’t want people to interrupt and spot you two, or he’s just too tired to go anywhere. That’s why most of your dates are spent in the comfort of his home. He feels slightly guilty that he isn’t able to treat you to something special but it quickly washes away at how affectionate you are. It’s just you two lounging around in his bedroom, you forcing him to take a break and relax for once. He likes to lay his head in your lap or chest, while you massage his scalp and run your fingers through his locks of hair. Sometimes you like to read books together. Specifically, Teru likes it when you read aloud to him because your voice is so soft and soothing to him. Your voice is like a melody to him, he cannot help but crave it. A lot of times your voice has lulled him into a much-needed sleep. He is honestly quite chill when it comes to relationships.

Sometimes he likes when you spend time with his family as well, Kou and Tiara. You and his siblings are the most precious people to him so he loves when you two get along! Whether it’s you two just watching Kou and Tiara play in the background or the four of you having a movie night of some sort, y’all are bound to enjoy yourselves.
