Killer App REVIEW
SPOILERS BELOW
In which Obake becomes even more creepy and reprograms Noodle Burger Boy to have that chill factor as well.
The episode starts with a bunch of drones shooting lasers at some innocent citizens. Big Hero 6 is quick to protect these people. Bluff Dunder shows up on scene to cover this news, mentioning that tech related attacks are rising in the city. A drone almost shoots at Bluff, but Baymax saves him.
During this attack, Obake is watching the whole thing in his lab. Looking at numerous photos of the team, he notes that they've become a busy bunch. He declares that it's time to really get to know them as his face glows. In the words of Baymax, "I have some concerns".
The next day, Hiro, Baymax, Fred and Wasabi are inside of a Noodle Burger restaurant! I have to admit, I've been really wanting to know what it would look like and I'm not disappointed in the slightest. It has the vibes of a classic, retro diner while also being modern at the same time. Excellent design. Anyway, Fred has his own reserved table there which he's had since he became a platinum member. He also has his own V.I.P section in the ball pit. Fred gives Hiro and Wasabi a couple of his V.I.P passes, but Wasabi declines since ball pits are full of germs. Baymax says that it's safe and Hiro agrees that it's fun and tells Baymax to try it out.
While Baymax is in the ball pit, Noodle Burgers new animatronic mascot arrives to serve some of the customers' orders. It's Noodle Burger Boy! Noodle Burger Boy is prorgramed with facial recognition and since he already knows who Fred is, he knows that he wants his Friday favorite. This Friday favorite of his happens to be a Noodle Burger with an extra crunchy bun, chili sauce and W.T.M.P (way too many pickles). It's official; Fred has a pickle problem.  Fred thinks Noodle Burger Boy would make a great sidekick.
Since Hiro and Wasabi are new to Noodle Burger Boy, he can't predict what they want to eat. Hiro is unsure of him being a sidekick, but is impressed by him being a good prediction algorithm. Baymax shows up at the table and Noodle Burger Boy offers him some stickers of himself. Baymax asks what his functions are which are spreading happiness and stickers. He then places a bunch of stickers all over Baymax.
Later that night when Noodle Burger is closed, an uninvited guest shows up while Noodle Burger Boy charges. Noodle Burger Boy explains that the restaurant is closed and then asks if he needs help with something else. By the silhouette, it's easy to identify the intruder as Obake and he believes Noodle Burger Boy will be very helpful for him.
In the nerd lab, Fred is excitedly showing off the stickers that Noodle Burger Boy gave him. No one shares this excitement with him. Baymax (who still has his stickers on his body), states that he wasn't designed to remove stickers. Fred wants to see if Baymax got scratch-n-sniff ones which he did.
Professor Granville comes into the lab with some news. The International Space Agency is holding a competition between all the best science institutions. The challenge is the create a machine that can gather junk that's in space and dispose of it. Both Hiro and Wasabi are interested in entering, but because of the tight deadline, Granville assigns them to work together. The two aren’t exactly thrilled about this and would rather design something individually, but Granville won't allow it. She states that their skill sets compliment each other and she wants to win. Hiro and Wasabi decide it'll be fine to work together. Before they can begin their work, Gogo announces that they have a situation.
We cut to Bluff who is talking about an anonymous tip that something would happen at the location he's broadcasting at. On cue, a broken trolley is quickly heading down a bumpy hill. The team is in action yet again and they have to stop this trolley because a lot of people are up ahead. As the team gets the passengers to safety, Noodle Burger Boy is watching the chaos from afar. Big Hero 6 manages to get the passengers off the trolley. Baymax holds the trolley back to slow it down. Everything is a success. The operator claims that the emergency break wouldn't work and Baymax confirms that it was disabled and detects a small amount of ketchup on it. Hiro finds this strange and Gogo now questions who gave them the tip that this incident would happen.
As Noodle Burger Boy continues to watch and retrieve information on the team, he gets a "special order" to detonate a wind turbine. It's about to crash into the road, but Honey Lemon helps it bounce and Wasabi slices it in half before it can hit a pedestrian. Now having all the information he needs, Noodle Burger Boy leaves the scene.
We return to Wasabi's part of the nerd lab and him and Hiro are talking through ideas for the competition. They both agree on making a mech suit that both a robot or human could wear. It'll have plasma blasters to break up bigger pieces of debri as well as a "high capacity super strong net" to contain the junk. Hiro is eager to sketch it out and makes himself comfortable, but Wasabi doesn't like Hiro putting his feet on his desk. Hiro then suggests to work in his lab. Hiro sketches out a design and asks for Wasabi's opinion, but Wasabi is literally sitting on the other side of his lab due to how messy it is. He can't think clearly because nothing is in order.
To resolve this, the two go to the cafeteria. Hiro has one side of the table and Wasabi has the other. Hiro attaches his design to a drone and has it fly over to Wasabi who gives him a thumbs up.
Meanwhile, Fred is at Noodle Burger, only to learn the sad truth; Noodle Burger Boy has gone missing. The manager is just as distraught as Fred and is worried about him since he doesn't know what the world is like. Fred believes they'll get through it, but the manager (Sarah) ends up hugging Fred and cries long enough for Fred to try to break free.
Fred asks for help to find Noodle Burger Boy, but Hiro and Wasabi are too busy with their mech suit. Baymax shows that both of them have elevated stress levels. Honey Lemon decides that her and Gogo will go with Fred to help. The trio are at the rooftop of Noodle Burger looking for any signs of him. Honey Lemon thinks it would be best to call off the search, but Fred is determined to find anything that could lead them to finding him. Right then and there, Noodle Burger Boy shows up and tricks Fred into looking the opposite direction to kick him off the roof. After this, Noodle Burger Boy gives off a robotic laugh which is absolutely terrifying.
Gogo questions why Noodle Burger Boy is doing this to which he explains he is programmed to collect information and adapt. He has now adapted to "evil style with all the fixings". Because of his programming, he's able to predict every move Gogo and Honey Lemon make. He manages to make Gogo fall off the roof, but Fred catches her and they jump back up. Noodle Burger Boy continues to dodge attacks and shoots ketchup and mustard at the girls. He then punches Fred a bunch of times before giving up. He realizes that he can predict all their moves, but can't defeat them. Not unless he upgrades to jumbo size. He jumps off the roof and makes a getaway in a little go-cart. Fred wishes he could make an escape like that.
In Fred's room, Fred explains how cool (and evil) Noodle Burger Boy was to Hiro and Wasabi. They all agree on needing more information on how he works. The manager at Noodle Burger doesn't know where he was made, but luckily Noodle Burger Boy left a footprint on Fred's super suit. Gogo notes that there's a Krei Tech logo on it which means one thing. Krei made Noodle Burger Boy (he doesn't make shoes, Fred).
Hiro thinks he and Wasabi should withdraw from the competition since this situation is more important. The others assure it's fine, but Wasabi thinks it might be better if they help. They both are clearly not enjoying working together at all. They both express their dislike of how they do things. Also, Wasabi is terrible at insults. Fred thinks this is getting too personal and Gogo tells them they need to find a way to work together because they're dear friends that care about one another. With that, they agree to figure something out.
In the nerd lab, Hiro does believe as friends they should be able to work together. Wasabi thinks they may be too different to do so, but Baymax suggests to see things from each other's perspective. Hiro thinks it would be better to split the work up and do their parts separately. Despite Baymax warning that avoiding a problem could mean it reoccurring in the future, Wasabi agrees to Hiro's idea. We get a side-by-side montage of how they both work on their part. This seems to work out well and they do finish the mech suit! Hiro decides he wants to test it out with real junk at the dump. Wasabi is hesitant to go, but he wants to try finishing up their work together.
At Krei Tech, Krei explains that Noodle Burger wanted him to design "the ultimate nostalgic robot boy mascot". His inner body is from an abandoned robot soldier project (aka military grade titanium). Not only can he predict every move Big Hero 6 will make, but he's also indestructible. Krei doesn't seem too concerned with what Noodle Burger Boy can do and tells Fred, Gogo and Honey Lemon to leave if they don't have anything else to ask.
At the dump, Noodle Burger Boy talks to a seagull about looking for parts to upgrade with so he can defeat Big Hero 6. In the distance, he hears Hiro and Wasabi talking and is interesting in the "free toy" (mech suit).
Hiro is seated in the suit and he continues bickering with Wasabi. Baymax tries to get their attention, but Wasabi and Hiro are too busy arguing to see what's really going on. Wasabi doesn't like that Hiro doesn't follow procedure, but Hiro thinks Wasabi obsesses over them too much. Wasabi thinks working on this project was a bad idea and Hiro doesn't want to work on it anymore either. Finally paying attention to Baymax, they see him being lifted up by a crane. Because they got distracted, Noodle Burger Boy gets inside the mech suit. Hiro wants to go back for Baymax, but Wasabi reminds him that they need their armor.
While Hiro and Wasabi go back to SFIT, Wasabi calls the others to let them know what's going on. At the dump, Baymax fails to see how what Noodle Burger Boy is doing makes him a better mascot. Noodle Burger Boy states that that was his old job and he's been reprogrammed by his new owner to destroy Big Hero 6. Speaking of which, Noodle Burger Boy predicts Big Hero 6 will arrive at any minute to rescue Baymax and he plans on destroying them.
In Hiro's lab, him and Wasabi are suiting up and they apologize to each other. They both grab a piece of each others' armor and get the same idea at the same time.
The battle is officially on and Noodle Burger Boy is still predicting every move that Gogo, Honey Lemon and Fred make. Before Gogo can finish what she says, Noodle Burger Boy takes the plan right out of her mouth. He traps the girls in a net and since Fred is down from a chem-ball hitting him, it's up to Hiro and Wasabi. The two show up on scene and they're wearing each others' suits! How Wasabi fits in Hiro's suit is beyond me, but they both look amazing!
Because of this switch-up, Noodle Burger Boy can't predict what they'll do, so he decides to throw junk at them. Wasabi states that the mech suit is working great as him and Hiro dodge many attacks. They hold onto the crane and assure Baymax they'll help him down soon. Noodle Burger Boy continues to blast plasma at them and activates the plasma blades. Wasabi protects Hiro from getting blasted while he tries to hold his own. Hiro then cuts through the legs of the mech suit. Gogo throws the net at him and traps him in it! Fred gets in the crane machine and lowers Baymax down.
Baymax is about to say something, but Hiro cuts him off. Hiro states he was right (about how avoiding problems will come back later) and that he'll listen next time, but Baymax just wanted to say that Noodle Burger Boy is escaping. He makes another getaway in his go-cart leaving a trail of ketchup and mustard behind.
The mech suit is all fixed up and Hiro and Wasabi are presenting it to Granville. She's pleased by their teamwork and is happy with what they came up with. The episode ends in Obake's lair. Noodle Burger Boy apologizes for messing up his "order". Obake asks if he collected the information he requested and Noodle Burger Boy indeed has. Plugging him into his tech, he gets the information he wants. And now he knows the identities of everyone in Big Hero 6.
I loved this episode!
I really enjoyed the dynamic between Hiro and Wasabi. I like how from the beginning of episode when they were at Noodle Burger, it was hinted with how different they are. Wasabi doesn't like ball pits because they're full of germs. Hiro thinks they're fun. And then we get to see them attempt working together on a project. What I liked here was that it was different. Most friends assume they'll work well together on something and then discover they may not make the best team. Wasabi and Hiro already knew they'd have difficulties working with each other from the start. Despite that, they made many attempts to work on the project together as best as they could. They actually work really well doing things separately. Of course, this still led to arguing, but they worked things out in the end. Besides, they're a much better team together when in battle.
Noodle Burger Boy is a good villain! I like that in this high-tech universe, they not only have human opponents, but also a robotic one now. Of course, Noodle Burger Boy isn't a villain by choice. He's been reprogrammed by Obake and by doing so, it turned him from adorable to scary. One thing that I really love is that as a villain, he still uses restaurant terms in battle. "Clean up on table five!" was a personal favorite. Because Obake is the one who has reprogrammed him, I'd definitely consider him a big threat (unless of course they program him back to his old self).
Speaking of Obake, he was as freaky as ever in this episode! Now that he has blue prints to things being worked on at Krei Tech, he's using that information to his advantage. Noodle Burger Boy was one of the blueprints he has access to and now we have another new villain. Oh and he also now knows the identities of EVERYONE in Big Hero 6. We thought we needed to worry when he only knew about Hiro? Oh no, now it's time to panic.
Also, Hiro's mild peanut allergy was brought up in this episode and I'm so happy that detail wasn't forgotten! He eats almond butter and jelly sandwiches! Also, the scene where they saved everyone on the trolley reminded me of that newspaper headline that we saw at the ending credits of the movie.
Tumblr media
And during that montage of Hiro and Wasabi working on their separate parts. Can I just say how much I loved the music there. We first heard the trumpet part in Baymax Returns and it's been one of my favorite music scores for the series, so it was good to hear it again (with an extra instrument as well!)
I hope Sarah the Noodle Burger Manager is doing okay.
On a scale of one to ten...I'd rate Killer App a 9.1!

Hello From Niagara Falls - Exploring the Clifton Hills Entertainment Area & Doing A Little Gambling
The previous morning my last entire day in Niagara Falls, Ontario, had shown up. Following a stuffed calendar the day preceding that had incorporated a magnificent introduction at the Max Theater, my very close experience with the Great Falls at the Journey Behind the Falls and an engaging show at the Oh Canada Eh? Supper Theater, I prepared for another entire day of investigations in Niagara Falls  188xoso.com I previously got an incredible beginning to the day when Kevin Kirkpatrick, the gourmet cook and co-proprietor of Kirkpatrick Manor, arranged a totally delightful breakfast for me: after a scrumptious new natural product platter with yogurt and newly made banana bread I devoured "breakfast ravioli", one of Kevin's special culinary creations. This light yet scrumptious breakfast dish highlights fried eggs, bacon and old cheddar encompassed by daintily turned out pasta and a home made pureed tomatoes with garlic, white wine and leeks. Kevin, with his gregarious and active way, plunked down with me and kept me engaged with stories from his global neighborliness experiences in France when he and spouse Nance were dealing with an enormous chalet in the French Alps.
Tumblr media
After this incredible beginning I hurried out to return my rental vehicle to Budget Rent-A-Car since my better half was rolling in from Toronto to go along with me in Niagara Falls. In spite of the fact that I had traveled just 78 kilometers in two days, my little Toyota Yaris had served me incredibly well in getting around Niagara Falls at a sensible cost.
On this radiant yet freezing day we began with a decent stroll at the foot of Clifton Hill, walking westwards along the Niagara Parkway towards the Canadian Horshehoe Falls. A splendid blue sky washed the Niagara River in brilliant light, and a portion of the metal railings close to the walkway were canvassed in shimmering ice developments from the fog that is shaped by the Horseshoe Falls. Many different vacationers were additionally going for an early afternoon stroll and were snapping photos of their loved ones against the scenery of the powerful Niagara Falls.
Our genuine goal for now was the Clifton Hill zone - Niagara Fall's principle vacationer promenade. Clifton Hill, the road, reaches out from the Niagara Parkway close to the Niagara River to Victoria Avenue on head of the slope and highlights many cafés, blessing shops, inexpensive food outlets, inns and different attractions, for example, frequented houses, wax historical centers and other traveler diversion. This famous scam is regularly stuffed to the gills with individuals walking around and down, absorbing the rowdy festival climate of this territory.
Clifton Hill has a long-standing history as a diversion territory: lodgings have been in presence here since the late 1800s. During the 1920s this zone formed into a famous vacationer goal and a few extra hotels and traveler camps were developed close by throughout the following not many decades. Since the 1960s a few historical centers have been manufactured, which incorporate the Houdini Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Wax Museum, the House of Frankenstein, the Guinness World Records Museum, Ripley's Believe It Or Not and a few others.
We chose to make our first stop at the Niagara SkyWheel, an as of late built mammoth ferris wheel whose 42 atmosphere controlled gondolas give an amazing perspective over all the principle attractions of Niagara Falls. During the brief ride on this 53 meter high ferris wheel we had a glorious view over the Canadian and American Falls just as over the various attractions and the local locations of Niagara Falls. Luckily, the climate was ideal for this experience and our 360 degree all encompassing perspective stretched out for some miles.
In view of the lively climate we chose to dodge inside and headed into the Guinness World Records Museum. Once in the past called the Guinness Book of World Records, this establishment has a beautiful history: the overseeing executive of the celebrated Guinness Brewery in Ireland happened to ask himself during a chasing party in 1951 which fledgling was quicker - a grouse or a brilliant plover? Incapable to discover a response to this inquiry in reference books, he figured that there would need to be a large number of different inquiries that couldn't be settled by counseling a reference book and chose to make a book to gracefully replies to these kinds of inquiries.
The book turned into a short-term shock hit and in the end a refreshed rendition including new records was distributed on a yearly premise and has advanced from a book overwhelming reference book into a vivid, lavishly delineated distribution. Lately a few little exhibition halls have been made in areas, for example, Tokyo, San Francisco, Hollywood, Atlantic City, Myrtle Beach and Copenhagen to feature essential, and in some cases strange, world records. The area in Niagara Falls highlights photographs and depictions of numerous instances of world records including such interests as the world's tallest man and the world's littlest lady.
We investigated the numerous intelligent presentations that include world records in the circles of amusement, craftsmanship, writing and game. Cataclysmic events and logical accomplishments are secured also. A portion of the records in plain view really boggle the brain and it makes you wonder who has the opportunity to think of a portion of these somewhat unique thoughts for world records, and who may have the opportunity to execute those thoughts. Pictures of record holders, for example, the man with the world's longest ear hairs (4 inches!) were somewhat unnerving, to be completely forthright.
Our next goal highlighted comparatively unique human eats: Ripley's Believe It or Not!, worked to look loke a crumbled Empire State Building with King Kong remaining at the top, is a genuine assortment of human peculiarities. Robert LeRoy Ripley (1893 to 1949) was an illustrator, business person and beginner anthropologist whose paper board arrangement included odd yet verified realities from everywhere throughout the world. Ripley voyaged a ton and turned into an authority of strange things from a wide range of outlandish goals around the world. From 1929 onwards Robert Ripley entranced perusers of seventeen national papers with his Believe It Or Not coordinated paper board arrangement. At the tallness of his ubiquity he was said to have gotten more mail than the American president. Ripley turned into a genuine media goliath of his time and ventured into radio and early TV before his passing of a coronary episode in 1949.
At the Niagara Falls Ripley's Believe It or Not! we proceeded with our investigation of abnormal and fascinating things and were welcomed immediately by a three-dimensional figure of the world's biggest lady. Genuine peculiarities, for example, vampire slaughtering units, an assortment of shocking yet entertaining headstones, two-headed piglets and an assortment of life-sized optical figments shipped us into the place where there is the strange and odd. To balance the assortment of peculiarities, Ripley's additionally works a Moving Theater and Louis Tussaud's Waxworks in Niagara Falls.
After these investigations of the peculiar and bizarre we chose to go to our comfortable informal lodging, the Kilpatrick Manor B&B. Chilled deep down we chose to unwind on the happy with jumbo bed, turn on the chimney, watch a touch of TV and warm up under the delicate cotton covers. A rich shower in the multi-stream Neptune shower assisted with heating up my solidified bones. Presently I comprehended what the proprietor Kevin Kilpatrick was alluding to when he disclosed to me that visitors simply prefer to "home" at their quaint little inn. It was to be sure an especially happy with loosening up condition that prepared us for our last night in Niagara Falls.
We chose to eat at the Frontier Grillhouse which is found nearby the Best Western Fireside Hotel with an incredible view neglecting the Niagara River. This cutting edge easygoing eatery includes a broad menu with an assortment of newly arranged breakfast dishes or an everything you-can-have breakfast. The supper menu has an enormous choice of tidbits, soups and plates of mixed greens and a wide scope of flame broiled dishes including prime rib, New York striploin, Filet Mignon, T-bone steaks. Pastas, fish and sweets balance the contribution at the Frontier Grillhouse. I making the most of my steaming hot French onion soup and garlicky escargots with gratinated mozzarella while my significant other rewarded himself to a liberal plate of Fettucine Alfredo. We were unable to have included treat regardless of whether we had needed to.
We could have loose for considerably longer at the Frontier Grillhouse, however one more experience was sitting tight for us: a touch of betting at the Fallsview Casino Resort. Niagara Falls has for quite some time been a mainstream goal for betting. On the Ontario side there are two enormous club: Casino Niagara, situated in the Clifton Hill region, and the as of late opened Fallsview Casino Resort which has been luring speculators since 2004. As we had just investigated Clifton Hill, we chose to visit the Fallsview Casino which is a great lodging, shopping, gaming and amusement complex situated on a slope with an astonishing perspective on the glorious Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
The whole perplexing is awesome - with a 100,000 square foot gaming floor it dazzles even the most experienced gambling club goer. Since it was our first time here and neither one of us is a gambling club standard, we were amazed by the apparently endless gaming floor which highlights 3000 gaming machines and 150 table games. Wherever lights are flickering and the toll like hints of the gaming machines fill the air. My significant other is a significant gifted side interest poker player, and he looked at the astonishing exhibit of table games, which incorporate poker games like Let It Ride and Caribbean Stud. Other table games incorporate Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Spanish 21 just as progressively outlandish assortments, for example, the old Chinese Sic Bo round of dice, Pai Gow Tiles - a Chinese rendition of dominoes, and Pai Gow Poker which consolidates components Asian Pai Gow and Western-style poker.
I chose to simply watch the activity and sit back as my significant other took a stab at various kinds of poker. Woman Luck was sparkling on him for some time, however as the night advanced he gave ba

Skinnytaste Meal Plan (December 17-December 23)
posted December 15, 2018 by Gina
A free 7-day flexible weight loss meal plan including breakfast, lunch and dinner and a shopping list. All recipes include calories and Weight Watchers Freestyle™ SmartPoints®.
The holidays are always so crazy, so I hope these meal plans can help simplify your life!
If you’re new to my meal plans, I’ve been sharing these free, 7-day flexible healthy meal plans (you can see my previous meal plans here) that are meant as a guide, with plenty of wiggle room for you to add more food, coffee, beverages, fruits, snacks, dessert, wine, etc or swap recipes out for meals you prefer, you can search for recipes by course in the index. You should aim for around 1500 calories* per day.
There’s also a precise, organized grocery list that will make grocery shopping so much easier and much less stressful. Save you money and time. You’ll dine out less often, waste less food and you’ll have everything you need on hand to help keep you on track.
Lastly, if you’re on Facebook join my Skinnytaste Facebook Community where everyone’s sharing photos of recipes they are making, you can join here. I’m loving all the ideas everyone’s sharing!
THE DETAILS:
Breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday, are designed to serve 1 while dinners and all meals on Saturday and Sunday are designed to serve a family of 4. Some recipes make enough leftovers for two nights or lunch the next day. While we truly believe there is no one size fits all meal plan, we did our best to come up with something that appeals to a wide range of individuals. Everything is Weight Watchers friendly, I included the updated Weight Watcher Freestyle Points for your convenience, feel free to swap out any recipes you wish or just use this for inspiration!
The grocery list is comprehensive and includes everything you need to make all meals on the plan. I’ve even included brand recommendations of products I love and use often. Cross check your cabinets because many condiments you’ll notice I use often, so you may already have a lot of them.
And last, but certainly not least, this meal plan is flexible and realistic. There’s plenty of wiggle room for cocktails, healthy snacks, dessert and dinner out. And if necessary, you can move some things around to make it work with your schedule. Please let me know if you’re using these plans, this will help me decide if I should continue sharing them!

The Perfect Spot for an Intimate Seaside Wedding
I’ve never stepped foot in Rosemary Beach, yet feel as if I visited there a hundred times thanks to all of the stunning weddings we’ve feature in this locale. It boasts the whitest sands and an adorable little town hall—making it kind of the perfect spot for a seaside soiree like this one planned by Shelby Peaden Events. Blooms from Myrtie Blue served as the perfect contrast for the white backdrop. Convinced this is your spot? See even more from Mi Amore Foto in The Vault.

From the Bride… As a little girl I often envisioned my wedding as the typical princess fairy tale…lavish, large, and complete with my own Prince Charming. When it came time to actually plan my wedding at thirty, my idea of the perfect wedding had entirely shifted. I had already found my best friend and the love of my life in my fiancé and now hoped to have a wedding that would be a personal celebration of our love and commitment surrounded by our closest friends and family. Size and grandeur were replaced by a focus on intimacy and individual style.
With that in mind we searched for a venue in a place that would also serve as a vacation spot for our sixty or so traveling guests. Enter Rosemary Beach, Florida, a beautiful seaside town with quaint cottage rentals, cobblestone roads and a old-world imbibing Town Hall which could double as a ceremony and reception location. The adjacent outdoor grass courtyard was an added bonus and proved to be the perfect spot for a cocktail hour.
With our venue selected we began to focus on the experience and details of the day. I’ve always valued personal style and decor design and I wanted our wedding to be no exception to that. I envisioned romance, candles, and an elegantly mature bohemian feel. I pictured loads of gorgeous greenery, vibrant peonies and a mix of modern and more traditional elements. On all of these items and much more, Brian at Myrtie Blue delivered.
Food and drink was also at the top of our priority list. Based on recommendations and reviews we selected Townsend Catering, and we were so happy we did. We wanted to serve a hearty meal to our guests, part coastal and part southern comfort so we ended up choosing options like braised short rib with mashed potatoes, pan-seared grouper and jumbo lump crab meat with cheese grits and appetizers including bacon wrapped dates and grilled cheese tomato shooters. We also wanted to personalize our drink options so we opted for a selection of locally brewed beer from the panhandle and where my husband grew up, and a few signature cocktails including my favorite, appropriately named the Rosemary.
The last detail we nailed down was a biggie. We needed to select a photographer who would be able to capture the day in a beautiful, organic and artistic way. Sure we wanted some of the traditional posed photos, but we were more interested in the elusive candid moments, the meaningful glances and unprompted smiles, the details of the day that we could later draw upon to remember how we felt at that instance in time. Shannon was exactly that photographer. She managed to not only capture those aspects but to do so while making us feel entirely comfortable during the process.
There is truly not a single thing I would have changed about that day. Our personal style and touches were reflected in nearly every detail. In focusing on our commitment to one another and how we wanted to share and celebrate that with our closest friends and family we were able avoid the often production type feel weddings can sometimes generate, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Skinnytaste Meal Plan (April 15-April 21)
posted April 13, 2019 by Gina
A free 7-day flexible weight loss meal plan including breakfast, lunch and dinner and a shopping list. All recipes include calories and Weight Watchers Freestyle™ SmartPoints®.
With Easter coming, I thought you’d be interested in a few dessert options if you’re entertaining. This Super moist Carrot Cake is delicious, we also love these Honey Lemon Bars, and these Coconut Macaroons.
If you wish to get on the email list, you can subscribe here so you never miss a meal plan!
Also, if you don’t have the Skinnytaste Meal Planner, now would be a great time to get one to get organized for 2019! There was a print error last year, but it’s perfect now! You can order it here!
