Keep alternating between feeling really psyched by the prospect of applying for these MA programs & suddenly feeling crushed by the reality of money and career prospects etc etc etc
Was trying to make a cute crafted envelope for the junk journal. Failed. Spectacularly even. Spent some moments taking revenge on the paper and Florida somehow got into the conversation. Anyway, I'm working on the project, I swear!
yesyes i wanna see the daggers and knives very much !!
Hahaha ok when I was setting up this pic it reminded me of that scene from one of the worst movies of all time (Suicide Squad, 2016) w the joker on the ground laughing surrounded by all of those knives but I digress
Here’s (some of) the collection! I know multi tools aren’t technically knives but whatever I think it’s cute I have a little and large of each :)
Obviously the coolest one is the big horkin curved dagger in the back w the two mini daggers that all of into the same sheath. I love that one so much it’s my fave
The carabiner combo on the black knife makes me happy like aw hey there you little homo :) I actually got a pack of 6 of those online for like $20 when I worked BOH bc we always needed a knife to break down boxes and I didn’t wanna use one I actually cared about/would easily get lost
Hmm what else..
*puts hands on thighs and alternatively taps them*
Oh! Yeah the “jeweled” dagger is a like Roman replica I got in the UK which is fun
And finally, the slightly larger grey-ish one w the teeth was a present from a friend. He had it and was gonna just throw it away bc of its condition but I asked if I could have it instead and he said yes 😊 now that I think about it that’s what first broke the ice between us - awwwwww :’) anyway it was SOOOOO rusty so I somewhat “restored” it. Part of the action is broken tho so it stays perpetually open lol
Anyway! Thanks for coming to my knife reveal hope you enjoyed!
Hey guys, I wanted to dedicate this account to an issue I know needs more awareness. If you are ever out in public, you have probably come across homeless people. There's no denying that, its a fact. California has the worst homelessness crisis in the U.S. ‼️
You're probably wondering, ☁️"why is homelessness such a big problem, what can I do as an individual to help, how can I educate myself more on this?"☁️
Let this curiosity fill you and follow up for more to know why homelessness is a problem, how YOU can help, who to contact for additional information or support, and much more!
Making slime is a fun and easy activity that you can do at home with a few simple ingredients. Here's a basic recipe for slime that you can try:
Ingredients:
1 cup of white glue
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon of borax (optional)
Food coloring or liquid watercolor (optional)
Glitter or confetti (optional)
Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of white glue and 1 cup of water. Stir until the glue is fully dissolved in the water.
If you want to add color to your slime, mix in a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolor. You can also add glitter or confetti for extra sparkle.
In a separate small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of borax and 1 cup of water. The borax helps to make the slime more stretchy, but it's optional if you don't have it on hand.
Slowly add the borax solution to the glue mixture, stirring constantly. The slime will start to come together and form a ball.
Once the slime is fully formed, you can knead it with your hands to make it more stretchy. If the slime is too sticky, you can add a little more borax solution. If it's too hard, you can add a little more water.
When you're happy with the consistency of your slime, you can store it in an airtight container. It will keep for several weeks if you take care of it.
Have fun with your slime! You can try experimenting with different colors, textures, and ingredients to create your own unique slime creations.
What do you want your legacy to be? That’s a tough question to answer, because you may not have really thought about it before, but everyone leaves one behind. Legacies encompasses your entire life’s journey, and when we pass on, we are remembered by those precious moments from our incredible journey that are carved into the minds and hearts of others. Your legacy is the most valuable gift for each and every person you’ve ever crossed paths with in your lifetime. When I think about what I would want my legacy to be, I am reminded of the important things to living a life of fulfilment, and the things that matter the most, which is respect, compassion, openness, and acting from a healed heart, not your wounded heart. Sometimes it’s the little precious things that can easily become lost. In this life of adventure, laughter, wonder, intense emotions, and moments of both joy and sorrow, I want life to count for something bigger than me. I want to make a difference. I don’t believe that a legacy has to live only in memory. I believe a legacy can brighten the future too. It’s never too late to re-evaluate and change paths. We all have certain people who inspire us whether they are family, friends, teachers, or mentors. These people have a profound impact on our lives to learn more, dream more, do more, and be more. We all want to be remembered for something special, someone who truly cared and made a difference. It’s a natural human instinct to want to leave a special mark. People tend to think of legacy as something that only happens after you die. But the truth is, legacies are formed while you’re alive, and the best way to leave a legacy is to live your legacy into existence. You are the architect of your own life story. Make it a meaningful one by leaving a lasting impression of the beautiful life lessons you learned. What really matters to you? What drives you to live out your passions? What makes you want to be a better person? Never lose sight of these critical things in life.
What legacy will you leave?
