i still cannot believe we had the crowley bringing aziraphale chocolates/gabriel giving him a promotion/crowley tricking gabriel so aziraphale can stay on earth scene taken from us. the foreshadowing of it all. the things we could have been……..

#but we had to watch the newt and anathema sex scene? which added nothing to the plot?#for the record this sounds like i’m one of those weird anti-sex scene people which i’m not #i want nothing more than to see aziraphale and crowley devour each other next season #but newt and anathema’s relationship didn’t add anything to the plot therefore the sex scene was unnecessary (though comical)#whereas the bookshop opening day scene? mama the foreshadowing. the parallels. it would have gone crazy #and you can’t tell me that neil had no idea what s2 would look like if it got greenlit at while making cuts for s1 still #still and will always be mad about it #thoughts
