otp - Stalia! all the way, babey!!!

favourite canon pairing - I would've said Stalia BUT SEASON FIVE MY BELOATHED (it's my favourite season the Angst is so good oh my god it's great writing fodder. best season for a ficcer is s5 i take no criticism on this matter i am right) so. uhhhh can't be scira s6 my actually beloathed. marrish amounted to like nothing at all. Chrissa!!! chrissa yes chrissa good chrissa wholesome chrissa flawless we like chrissa in this household. I think Draeden though has to be the best canon one just because it's around longer than Chrissa and like. I adore Braeden and she made me not hate Derek which is a Huge feat bc for some reason for a really long time I literally loathed him akjsg;alskdjg like chill out, Cesca. He's a dude. He's just a dude. (s2 Derek my forever despised though. cannot find it in me to like him before Braeden shows up. I tolerate him. I have no idea why by the way his like whole story is exactly something i would normally grab with both hands and never let go of. I will defend him though K*te A*gent can meet me in the boxing ring I'll win. I'll win through sheer spite.)

worst pairing ever - sterek #notsorry. once again in canon they can barely tolerate each other (in the seasons that spawned the pairing) and then in the follow they're like. allies-because-scott. That's it. Also i kind of just get big-brother-little-brother vibes from them when they manage to get along so like.... no.... also. the most reason. Derek's history with Kate and being a sixteen year old preyed upon by a 23/4 year old would make it... really bad to have him... be 24.... and with Stiles... who was 16.... you understand? yes. character wise i just don't think it'd work out.

guilty pleasure pairing - no such thing as guilty pleasure but ig people would think maybe steo or staleo idk? but yeah I am guilty about nothing. I will ship everything without fear. (steter might be the most genuine one though because back when I was dumb it was very hypocritical. but at the same time I only do it in very specific circumstances (time-travel/ages are changed; never in canon) and mostly i prefer the whole Paralellism thing they've got going on - they're basically like. the same person it's weird - so there's that.)

favorite non-romantic pair - uhhhh jeez uhh steter is so intriguing bc it's just so bizarre in like. our souls are the same (derogatory) kind of way. platonic frenemies steter is hilarious and psychologically fascinating. Stiles is like, one of the only people Peter respects. When Derek sees Stiles in the locker room wearing black it's mirroring Derek listening to Peter in the locker room wearing black. it's all connected perfect combinations are rare in an imperfect world etc etc. Their canon dynamic (I don't even know what to categorise it as) is so goddamn interesting. But also like sciles, though I'll ship them too their friendship/brotherly bond is everything to me. And I tend to see it (as in, from my perspective on the canon) more often than not as mostly one-sided romantically/sexually speaking (from stiles). so sciles. but also i'm really fond of stira platonically (I'll take the romance, but we do need Some platonic friendships on this damned show alk;sjdfg;laskg). and absolutely scolia. Scolia is a great friendship! s6 does not exist. I tend to ship scydia more romantically later on in the show but like around s3/4 it's such a good friendshp, I love it. But yeah no s6 should have been scydia, and I'll stand by that (I'm including s6A as well as 6B in this. stydia and scolia should not have happened imo). Stydia is actually really really good platonic and horrible terrible romantic, so I have to go with Stydia I think. Non-romantic stydia my beloved <3

So, first things first: It's gonna be a list of all the ships I can currently think of. Platonic, romantic, etc, etc, will be in their own categories I guess, because why not?

Friendshippy:

Sciles - the main men, the duo, the first two you meet. 

Allydia - wholesome, pure, badass, I miss them so. 

Malira - babes.

Stira - babies

Scydia - wonderous, grew so well from season 1 to season 6

Stydia - emotional tethers, two sides of the same coin, dorks

Stoyd - I wanted Boyd to have more friends so badly and Stiles wanted to be his friend and ugh, wasted potential.

Scisaac - good bonds, I want them to have good bonds.

steter - very, very reluctantly mind you, Stiles will have you know. 

Peter&Malia - look, peter’s kinda-evil. Like, really evil. But I just want Malia to have a good relationship with her dad, and preferably not the one who put her in a mental institution. 

Romantic/Sexual (I’ll just put them in the same for ease, I guess. One does not necessarily mean the other. Though I would have thought that to be a given.)

Stalia. OTP alert; my lovelies since season 3.

Scira. OTP alert; my lovelies since season 3 also.

Marrish. They’re great and wholesome. I literally cannot write them angsty, despite my usual tendency towards fic of that nature. 

Scydia/Stira - babies. They’re adorable and wholesome, and I love them. I can’t write them to save my life, tho.

Stora - so much potential, wasted.

Sterica/Berica - literally just want my lady happy. 

Morey/Jethan - great canon ships that work well and don’t need messing with.

Scallison/Scileson/Stalison - early season babes. 

Steo/Staleo - throw me in the trash. But in all honesty, I find the dynamic quite interesting to explore, especially the steo one. 

Sciles. 

Scisaac/Stoyd/Stisaac - these are kind of random, but whatever. Its the sorts of ship where you read like one really good fic for them and then *stares out at the black empty void of nothingness that is the AO3 filtered section for works of these tags* except Scisaac and Stisaac are fairly popular so its really only the middle one, I just don’t go looking that often.

Allisaac. Good canon need not be messed with

I like Caitlin and Stiles but well, I don’t know the ship name and there are hardly any fics with them in, even my fic which has them in only sorta has them in so whoops.

Stanny. 

Malira/Mallison - because yes.

Allydia - my babes, too pure for this world.

Steo - there’s so much history there that we don’t know, and it’s so intriguing to me, how they interact, and well, the UST is obvious (to me, lmao) lol.

Sciles (I like exploring how deep their bond really goes, and what that entails.)

Pack bonds - the bonds of a pack to their alpha, what it really is like to lose a pack member, how deep those bonds really go.

Things I just, well, can’t, for whatever reason. My squicks, I guess. Can we bring that back, please?

Anyway:

Shipping Derek with any of the teens - Scott's pack, pack 2.0, etc. Considering what he went through with kate, I don’t think he’d ever let himself feel anything like that for people he met when they were underage because he wouldn’t want to be like her. He nearly was with Erica, and I hate that - because it’s like the writers forgot his backstory there, but whatever rant for another time. 

Any ships that involve a minor and an adult. For obvious reasons. If the ship changes ages - if the older one is deaged, or the other is aged, or its set years into the future and the older one has been deaged, maybe. But a gap bigger than 15 or so years when they’re full grown adults is weird to me - a gap bigger than that when they aren’t is terrifying on a fundamental level. Time travel is a way to get these to work, I guess. I’ve read fics that use that device quite well. Regardless - no ephebophilia or pedophilia in my ships, thank you. 

I think that’s it for teen wolf. Anyone think its safe to put up my HP ones? Or will I get murdered dead? jk, jk, I’ll do it anyway. Then maybe Buffy, which I’ll likely probably get murdred for, and then we’ll see. Perhaps Riverdale/tvd? Or something safer, like Asassin’s Creed? Hmm, choices.

genderswap/cis-swap. It’s very rare that I read a genderbent fic that I care for, I dunno. I just don’t get why, I guess. What the need is for it. A lot of times I see it in the slash tags, which isn’t... great. so, Harry/Ron isn’t Harry slash Ron, it’s Harrietta!! or Rhonda!! or something!! for no reason??? so idk. I’ve seen the same in femslash tags, too, by the way. I just, idk. The fact that’s it’s common in what would be slash ships is... not great, it doesn’t sit particularly well with me. Idk.
