Crimson rolled her eyes and exhaled.  "Assess the damages first!  Aren't you a commander?" she asked.  "Process them, then we can talk about possibly investigating who actually killed King Cobra."  She continued, crossing her arms over her chest.  "And who meant to dishonor you."

It would by no means be easy.  He was on Mira's ship.  Mira was trying to get in contact after losing contact with Law.  She had locked herself in her cabin with every mushi she could find on the ship.  It left Crimson in charge to make sure things did not fall into chaos.  The rest of the ship's crew members believed Sabo.

"Everyone on this ship believes you would not kill a noble who was known to be kind-hearted," Crimson said.  "We said we'd help you find who might have ordered King Cobra's death.  For now, you should process what happened.  Miyuki will be here waiting for you when you're ready."

Grabbing a handkerchief out of her pocket, Koala wiped the blood off his face. She knew Sabo wouldn't let anyone hurt her and she was just thankful this blood wasn't his. His violence never scared her because she understood his temper and he usually didn't lose it in front of her like that. "Sabo-kun, you're okay, right?" Koala asked as she wiped his cuts clean.

“Thanks, Koala,” Sabo replied as his teammate cleaned the blood off him. He become more careful ever since got hit by a sea salt bullet on a previous mission, he wasn’t if it was better that it wasn’t his own blood she was wiping off.

“Sorry for losing my cool back here, I know it’s unlike me. I’m okay for the most part, but I guess… It’s just, I’m still so angry! I will never forgive them for what they did to Kuma-san!” Sabo admitted, flames igniting from his fist briefly. It was better to be honest now than to take it out on those who got in their way of going back to base. He would be no better than the Celestial Dragons and those protecting them if he was lashing out and did more damage than he should.

The loss of a human life was never something to be celebrated. It was tragedy. Death makes humans do foolish things. It cause them to make choices that are wrong, choices they would not normally find themselves making.

Still, when something or someone was dead and gone, that should be the end of it. Dead things are better off staying dead. This pain enough with the loss of a life. And only more pain to be found should the natural course of life find itself disrupted.

But in a cursed city like Arkham, many things had a bad habit of being disrupted. Things were never quite what they should be. Dark happenings tainted the town. Cold whisper filled the filthy shadows. And rumors made their way through the coldest nights since the Morgue Massacre that took place in the morgue of Miskatonic University Hospital all those months ago.

Frightened whisper about dead men walking.

Herbert West scoffed at their foolishness. Grown adults cowering away from shadows. It was ridiculous.

Everyday, more and more weird news reached the Revolutionary Army. Most of it was about concerning situations caused by the World Government. The political sphere was always doing more harm than good. People were dying and it wasn't just pirates doing the killing.

But the Goverment's crimes against humanity were not the only stories that came to the Revolutionaries. Strange happenings were also kept track of.

A rookie Relolutionary gripped a report tightly in his hand. He hurried around the desks over to where the officers were gathered. He made a line straight to Sabo. "Sir! We just caught word of some concerning events on an island named Joras. There's reports of living corpses in the capital city."

She grimaced at the radiating, stinging sensation she got from the antibacterial ointment. The wound was not deep, but had it been, it would have needed stitches. The wound was wrapped securely. The wound would need to be cleansed and the bandages would need to be changed the next day.

Her boyfriend was right. It was not so bad. She had feared she would need stitches and she did not. She teared up from the pain, though, but any wound from a blade hurt like a bitch. That was just how it was.

"Yeah, thought I needed stitches," she agreed. "Thanks, Sabo." She got up to pull a tank top out from the drawer. She pulled it over her head and straightened it out.

Luffy looked up with a tiny gasp. A smile started to pull up at his cheeks as he spotted Sabo. Luffy bounced up from his seated position and tackled his brother. He practically crawled inside the blond's coat before wrapping his arms several times around them both. All possibility for speech lost to a fit of giggles.

The gloved touch made him smile as soon as he realized who it was, he knew he was in deep trouble. Koala was someone who wouldn't hesitate to get on him about paperwork, even though Sabo despised the damn filing it required. Not his fault he was away on older brother duties, thank you. Luffy was a handful sometimes and someone had to keep a leash on him if the Strawhats couldn't. He knew what to do though as soon as Koala opened her mouth, play stupid. "Oh, Koala. When did you get back?" The crisis was averted for now and the Revolutionary would live to see another day...so he thought.

She held his face firmly in her hand and gave him an incredulous look. Did he really think she was going to fall for such a ridiculous distraction? He wasn't getting out of his reports that easily. She tsked softly as she gently lifting the hat from his head and settling it onto her own.

"I just got back about ten minutes ago. I've given Dragon-san my report already. I was going to ask you to go for a walk, I've missed you." She leaned in close, their noses pressed together. She patted the stack of papers as she whispered sensually against his lips. "But you already have a date with these reports."

Smiling, she pulled back. Not giving his hat back, she stood up from her seat on the desk. Making a little show of smoothing out her skirt and settling it back into place. She turned to leave once she was quite satisfied.

"Oh, Sabo-kun." She takes his gloved hands in hers and pulls him close. Smiling sweetly as she leaned up on her tip-toes to press her chest to his. "As if I needed a bingo card to tell me we're a match."
