hiccup: honestly I think he would probably play a lot of story-driven first-person shooters or like indie games that are either pretty cute and feel good or verging on psychological horror?

astrid: ngl I think she would either be into stuff like card games or animal crossing, girl needs a break from hurling axes and keeping everyone in line

fishlegs: a lot of mobile games but also cooking games, he would get so stressed out about restaurant games but he likes seeing the customers have little pixel smiles

snotlout: he would deny it to his grave but anything with a cute art style and relaxing music he is into, he also probably plays dating sims in secret because the virtual people are so nice (played ddlc, cried when the girls died, sayori was his favorite)

tuff: any sandbox game he can find. he likes to fuck around and see what he can do, storylines are boring the only thing that can keep his attention is his own creativity

ruff: honestly she feels like a point-and-click adventure kinda gal. choose your own adventures are fun and she likes how intricate the storytelling is.

heather: she likes games that take up real-world time, that have internal clocks so she can go into the game and it's like real life but just a little less stressful.

dagur: he would enjoy simulator games especially ones where u are a weird little animal going about your weird little animal life, there is nothing more serene than being a little wolf living in the forest (or an evil goose depending on how he feels)

viggo: this man just likes horror, anything that breaks the brain he is into. it could be horrible amounts of gore or a soul-crushing storyline that makes you really think, he likes the outlet.

ryker: he wouldn't play often but if he gets to be destructive then yeah that's for him, give him gore give him violence give him power, makes him feel better about everything
