pisses me off when all people have to say about chimpanzees is that they can kill you. like Yeah, so could the average adult human (with considerably more efficiency) but like. would they?

#the answer is no probably not #most beloved animals tend to be dangerous too #fuck #a lot of them are like apex predators #lions and wolves and shit #and both of those animals are more likely to attack than any given chimpanzee #why does a chimpanzee being Capable of harm encapsulate your entire view of them #this is not to mention that most infamous chimp attack stories tend #to be underlined with themes of animal mistreatment and abuse #but no. chimpanzees are inherently dangerous and will attack if you smile at them.#ok sure #whatever #the twenties whisper #nothing makes me more angry than this does LMAO
