Miranda and the gremlins' reactions to being given flowers? Loving song of the crows so far btw!
Miranda:
When she finds the blue winter rose on the counter of her lab, right by a steaming cup of coffee, Miranda pauses for several seconds.
She picks up the flower slowly, then walks towards her protege, who, prompted by the sound of her heels, turns to face her.
"This for me?" she taps the stark blue petals against her lower lip twice, knowing it will draw Abigail's gaze there like a moth to a flame.
She's not wrong.
"It has the same color as your eyes so I thought it should be near them. You can throw it away if you don't-"
But Miranda grabs her by the nape and brings her into a long, languid kiss. Lips slide together, tongues brush. When she pulls back she drags her golden claws over Abigail's neck in an almost-caress.
"Cute. But don't think this will save you from today's tests." she says.
"...damn."
Bela:
When Rhiannon gives her the red rose, her gloved fingers wrap around its thorned stem almost hesitantly.
"This rose is yours..." her girl says, lips pulling into that slow, soft smile that never fails to throw Bela for a loop. "And this one is mine." her pointer jabs the blonde's chest cutely.
It feels like she's jabbed her far deeper than that, though.
Bela tugs her forward into a kiss that conveys all the things she's too proud to say. When she pulls back, smirking at the sight of Rhiannon's blush, she says:
"And you're mine."
Cassandra:
It's so unlike Alexia to give her flowers she wonders if her girl left the burgundy rose on her vanity to begin with.
It doesn't cut, it doesn't have uses other than sitting in her room looking pretty, so she can't understand why it makes her feel like she's in her swarm form and floating.
Cassandra likes and hates the sensation at the same time. She crosses over to her bed, where Alexia is deeply engrossed in a book, then knocks it out of her hands.
"Hey-"
She cuts off the protest by straddling her girl's thighs and leaning in for a deep, passionate kiss.
Daniela:
She stares at the gorgeous purple tulip her girl is presenting her with with sparkling eyes. The moonlight reflecting on the snow around them, the flower, the beauty that offers it, it's all like a scene from one of her favorite romance novels.
"A flower for a flower." Knight winks and that's it.
After a brief flatline of her brain activity, she leaps into the other woman, arms around her neck, their lips already connected. Daniela kisses her, slow but hungry, until the night chill starts creeping up her skin.
Then their bodies continue the conversation in her bed.
