!!!HEAVY MANGA SPOILERS!!!
Tumblr media
Ok. So I'm gonna talk about deaths here and how we basically got a hint from the beginning of the series on who will die.
Also I'll only be talking about permanent deaths and not the deaths of characters that died in different timelines. That's a whole nother can of worms.
Let's start.
So we know from Draken (the one who was on death row) tell Takemichi that Kisaki wishes to kill everything that is dear to Mikey. And every death in the series so far are people who are special to Mikey.
Tumblr media
Special Person to Mikey #1
Let's start with the man who escaped death
Draken
Right on the get go as soon as Takemichi finds out that Draken died, we've been shown that he's someone special in Mikey's life and the story explains very well why Mikey would change cause of his death.
Tumblr media
Special Person to Mikey #2
Baji
Sad and unfortunate it is, Baji never made it. And that is devastating especially to Mikey.
But do you know how the series introduced Baji in Mikey's words? He's special to him, he loves Baji. He's clearly a person that Mikey cherishes and now he's gone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And thus the snowball of disasters arise
Special Person to Mikey #3
Emma
We're introduced to Emma and Mikey's relationship and made it clear and they are siblings and that they clearly love each other. Emma being his sister and someone he loves is a clear red flag that Emma is not safe and that she's clearly introduced with Mikey in such a way to convey how special she is to him. Hecc the first time we saw them truly interacting with each other is when he took her out for her birthday.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately Emma also passes
Special Person to Mikey #4
Izana
The brother that could've been.
He may not have been present in Mikey's life that much, only appearing for a short while but that short while was enough for Mikey to accept him and treat him as his family.
Tumblr media
As soon as Mikey accepted Izana making him a special person in his life should have been a clear sign that Izana is gonna have a tragic fate. And that he did.
He also dies.
Despite not being blood related, Mikey held him in his heart as much as the other people in his life. Most likely the reason to him adopting his image in the Bonten timeline.
So in conclusion. If someone is introduced as special to Mikey, they're definitely on the chopping block.
And that brings my attention to Draken and Takemichi.
I've already discussed Draken so let's talk about Takemichi.
Because of the things he's done, Mikey is very grateful. And from their interactions, Takemichi definitely is one of the people that Mikey cherishes. And that fact is sending alarm bells that the possibility of Takemichi dying is possible.
But!
He already did.
Bonten!Mikey technically killed him. He died that's why he can't go back to the future anymore.
Tumblr media
Takemichi got a do over. And that's where we currently are in the story.
The death of the people Mikey loves made him fall in darkness. And Takemichi swore to save Mikey.
Tumblr media
So I believe that Takemichi will do whatever he can to save Mikey and that is to not die.
Now let's address the elephant in the room. Draken is basically dying in the most recent chapters and it breaks my heart so much.
Tumblr media
I want him to be okay I want him to be able to do more for Mikey as he wanted. I want him to be alright. But the points I've pointed out in this post are all clear signs that death is coming. I don't want to believe it I don't want it to happen but there's also a part of my brain that's saying 'you saw this coming, you know what's going to happen.'
But I will remain optimistic and hope for the best even no matter what happens. I'm really heartbroken over this. I hope the story makes a clown of me and my theory in this post.
At this moment my biggest hope is that damn slow ambulance and our queen Senju.
Please Senju, please I'm counting on you.

On the whole sherlolly getting hate from some radical Johnlockers
While I love John and think he’s lovely, it is very important to note that every time Sherlock got the impression John was alluding to a romantic relationship between them (I’m speaking about from Sherlock’s view so it could be not the reality we see), he shot him down. “I think it’s important you know I consider myself married to my work.”
With Molly however he never says this to her. He never says “I’m not interested.” He degrades her and mocks her, but never says it directly. Not once. Now I know, for some of the series he does use her, but we see their dynamic change when he asks her to help with his death. While John occasionally ended up in the ‘damsel in distress’ role (I.e, the bomb incident), Molly isn’t. She doesn’t help Sherlock because she has a crush on him with his death, she does it because as a friend it’s the right thing to do.
That’s what makes the “I love you” scene so tragic. She was always there for him. Hecc, she was the first person to get him to apologize to anyone (during the Christmas scene). She’s an anomaly in his life. She never broke away from him. She offered him help when he was dying in a way that John couldn’t. (I'm referring to the time in his mind palace) She was a positive thing in his life, she really was. Then he was forced to do something he knew would hurt her.
Worst part of the infamous afore mention scene? We as a fandom can’t agree on what it means.
Some say he’s saying what it means to get her safe (I’m looking at you Johnlockers), even if platonically meant, it is still the actions of a caring man. We see she meant something to him. Even if they were just friends.
Others say he means it, like romantically means it. Evidence (the above seem to disagree with this) being he says it twice and what he does after he finds she wouldn’t have died. The smashing of the coffin is like he can’t just accept she might be gone. It’s really heart wrenching. Other evidence for his sincerity is this, if Eurus really wanted Sherlock to break her, adding one word to her required sentence truly would’ve killed her. If she had to say “I love you too,” that would've changed its whole meaning. Why? Sherlock knows she loves him, or he at least knows she has romantic feelings for him. Making her believe he shares the sentiment of loving her and making her echo the phrase would’ve been much more terrifying for her once she found it was fake.
Conclusion? Conclude what you want. Pick and choose what you want. It’s fine, we all do.
But just remember even if you think despite the show that Molly was done injustice and a horrible character, the scene where Jim Moriarty had to explain that sweet, sensitive Molly Hooper dumped him would’ve been fricken hilarious.
best wishes!
