Are you prepared for the iPhone 13? It might be coming subsequent month
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The iPhone 13, proven on this render, might be arriving quickly. EverythingApplePro Apple's newest iPhone, anticipated to be known as the iPhone 13, might make its debut ahead of you suppose. We've not heard any official phrase from Apple but, however rumors say we might see the iPhone 13 in September for the tech large's fall occasion alongside the Apple Watch 7 and AirPods 3. Much like final 12 months's announcement of the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13 occasion might be online-only. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman speculated in his Energy On e-newsletter in July that Apple's subsequent occasion will likely be utterly digital due to the tech large's rumored choice to delay its return to in-person work as a result of rising COVID-19 instances. Apple initially mentioned that every one workers could be required to come back into the workplace three days per week beginning in September. Gurman says that if Apple caught with the September time-frame, an in-person iPhone 13 occasion would have been "believable." Now, he expects one other online-only occasion.

Now playing: Watch this: Apple's 2021 iPhone event could have a date 4:13 Read more: Rumored September Apple event could be all virtual (again)Although the event may be all virtual, we're expecting to see four versions of the new phone: the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Mini, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Apple's first event of 2021 happened in April, where we saw new iPads, colorful iMacs, a purple iPhone 12 and AirTags trackers. Then came WWDC in June, where we caught a first glimpse of iOS 15. And there was no word from Apple on the iPhone 13 at either event. But no one was expecting the iPhone 13 to be announced this early. So when can we expect Apple to unveil its next flagship phones? Apple has yet to hint at any iPhone 13 event date. Based on Apple's history, however, we can typically predict when the company's iPhone events will happen and make an educated guess on a release date based on that. While the pandemic changed the usual course for 2020, marking the first September Apple event in eight years without an iPhone due to production delays, Kuo predicts that 2021 will see a return to the company's typical cadence. A March 24 report based on supply chain information also points to a late September iPhone 13 release date. And an April report from DigiTimes cited industry insiders who said production for the phones' new chips is ahead of schedule, which should put the phone release back on a familiar, pre-COVID timeline. Read more: Every iPhone 13 rumor we've heard so far, including how much the iPhone 13 will costIf all of this is true, we can expect to get a first look at the iPhone 13 at an event at some point in September. In a note to investors, reported on by MacRumors, Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives revealed that Apple may be planning to release the iPhone 13 in "the third week of September." This would mean some time between Monday, Sept. 13 and Friday, Sept. 20. Apple usually holds its events on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, and iPhone release dates typically are set about a week and a half after Apple announces the new devices. If this holds true and Ives is correct, the iPhone 13 could launch on Tuesday, Sept. 14 or Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Now playing: Watch this: iPhone 13 rumor roundup 5:31 We also may see the iPhone 13 sooner. A few years ago, CNET took a deep dive into the Apple event timeline and emerged with a compelling Labor Day hypothesis, which you can read about here. Based on the 2021 calendar, the Labor Day rule would put the September Apple event (and the unveiling of the iPhone 13) on Sept. 8. We won't know if this is true until Apple announces an event and shows off the phones. But if you want to plan ahead and save up for an iPhone 13, we'd bet on the September timeline -- at least for now. For more, check out why the iPhone 13 could have a 120Hz always-on display and our review of the iPhone 12.  Stay up-to-date on the latest news, reviews and advice on iPhones, iPads, Macs, services and software. Apple Watch Series 6 spotted online: Is a launch imminent?
By: Tech Desk | New Delhi | Published: August 30, 2020 1:32:29 pm
Apple Watch Series 6 is likely to sport a squarish dial (Express Photo, Apple Watch Series 5)
The Apple Watch Series 6 has been spotted online in Eurasian Economic Commission filings ahead of its release in September. The new filings were spotted by a French site Consomac as they came across four different models of the upcoming watch registered in the Eurasian database. The four models have been named A2291, A2292, A2351, and A2352 which are expected to be standard variants. On the other hand, A2375, A2376, A2355, and A2356 can be LTE-enabled wearables.
Apple Watch Design
The new Apple Watch is likely to sport a design similar to its predecessors. The square-shaped body will have an OLED screen with curves like we have been seen seeing over the years. There can be minor changes in the screen size to accommodate the new watch faces coming to WatchOS7, which it will run out of the box. Despite many rumours and a patent registered, Apple is unlikely to launch the new watch with a round dial. There might be a few options in band colours though.
What’s new
Apple’s focus has always been introducing more options to monitor health with its new smartwatches. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Apple may incorporate SpO2 tracking which lets you monitor oxygen levels in your blood. 9to5Mac suggested that the new snippets from the iOS 14 indicate that the watch will alert you when your blood oxygen levels drop. This alert will be similar to the one already available for low-heart rates. All of these is likely to be backed by a bigger battery to improve on-screen time and incorporate 24/7 monitoring.

The feature can come in handy for COVID-19 patients who have alarmingly low oxygen levels. There is a high demand for standalone clip-on-style Pulse oximeters in the market due to this reason. It uses red and infrared light sensors to detect oxygen levels. A report in DigiTimes also mentioned Apple’s deal with a Taiwanese manufacturer to bring the biosensor hardware in the watch.
Apple Watch Series 6 is expected to be unveiled alongside new iPads in the coming few weeks. The launch of these products is expected to go as scheduled, unlike the much-awaited iPhone 12 series’ supply which has been delayed due to the pandemic.

watchOS 7: When will Apple release it to the public and what to expect when it’s available
Apple officially unveiled watchOS 7 to developers last month at WWDC, detailing new features such as sleep tracking support, facing sharing, and more. While the update is currently available to developers, we’re still a few months away from the general release — but this year, a public beta will also be available to Apple Watch users for the first time.
What’s new in watchOS 7?
watchOS 7 brings additional tools for developers, allowing them to create more advanced types of complications. Users can also now set multiple complications from the same app on the same watch face, including new support for running Shortcuts directly from your watch face.
The watchOS 7 release continues Apple’s focus on health and fitness efforts. The Workouts app has been updated with new dance workouts as well as improved calorie tracking for things like core training, cooldowns, and functional training. The Activity app has also been redesigned and renamed to the “Fitness” application.
One of the most useful new features in watchOS 7 is support for watch face sharing. You can now create and share watch faces with other people, but developers can also offer preconfigured faces in their application, while you can also add watch faces from the web. Learn more about this in our full hands-on.
Finally, after years of rumors and speculation, watchOS 7 officially brings support for sleep tracking. There are a handful of new features in iOS 14 and watchOS 7 designed to help you track your sleep and get the best night’s sleep possible. There’s a Wind Down feature that helps you transition from wakefulness to sleep with shortcuts for things like HomeKit scenes, alarms, and Do Not Disturb.
Apple Watch Sleep Mode will turn off the display and wake you up using either an alarm sound or a silent wake up using taptics. The next morning, you can view your sleep data in the Health app on iPhone. Check out our detailed walkthrough for more information on Apple Watch sleep tracking.
What Apple Watch models are supported?
With the release of watchOS 7 this year, Apple is dropping support for Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch Series 2. This means that those models will stick to watchOS 6, and the following models will be updated to watchOS 7 when it’s released this fall:
When will Apple release watchOS 7 to the public?
watchOS 7 is currently available in developer beta, with beta 1 having been released on June 22. This means developers can run watchOS 7 to test their applications and prepare for the changes coming with this year’s updates, such as new complications and the removal of Force Touch.
In past years, Apple has released public beta versions of iOS, macOS, tvOS, and iPadOS, but not watchOS. That will change this year, however, as Apple has announced that it will release a public beta version of watchOS 7 this month.
Users can sign up to get watchOS 7 in July through beta.apple.com website. Once the public beta is available, users will be able to install the beta profile on their device and install watchOS 7. There are a few things to consider with this, however, including that this will still be a beta and bugs and performance issues are to be expected.
Apple hasn’t elaborated on when specifically in July the public beta of watchOS 7 will be available. It could be as soon as next week, but we’d wager that it’s more likely coming in mid to late July rather than early July.
What if you’re not up for beta testing watchOS 7 and prefer to keep your Apple Watch as stable as possible? If that’s the case, you’ll have to wait until the fall to install watchOS 7 on your Apple Watch. Usually, this release occurs sometime in September alongside the latest Apple Watch hardware, with this year likely bringing the Apple Watch Series 6.
