The Importance of Business Signs in Green Bay and Fond du Lac, WI in Business Marketing Strategies
Effective marketing strategies are crucial for success in today's competitive business environment. One often underestimated yet highly impactful element of a comprehensive marketing strategy is business signage. Signage serves as a silent salesperson, communicating a business's brand message, attracting customers, and enhancing overall visibility. Understanding the importance of signage in business marketing strategies can help companies optimize their marketing efforts and drive customer engagement.
Enhancing Brand Visibility and Recognition
Business signs in Green Bay and Fond du Lac, WI, fundamentally enhance a business's visibility. An eye-catching and well-placed sign can significantly draw attention to a business, especially in high-traffic areas. Effective signage ensures that potential customers notice the company, making it easier to remember and recognize the brand. Consistent use of brand colors, logos, and fonts on signs helps reinforce brand identity, contributing to long-term brand recognition.
First Impressions Matter
The quality and design of a business sign can greatly influence first impressions. A professionally designed and well-maintained sign conveys a sense of quality and reliability. Conversely, a poorly designed or neglected sign can deter potential customers and create a negative perception of the business. Investing in high-quality signage reflects a commitment to excellence and professionalism, which can attract more customers and build trust.
Driving Foot Traffic and Impulse Purchases
Effective signage is a powerful tool for driving foot traffic and encouraging impulse purchases. Attractive and strategically placed signs can lure passersby into the store, increasing the chances of spontaneous buying decisions. For instance, a well-designed window display sign highlighting special promotions or new arrivals can entice customers to explore the store further. This can significantly boost sales and enhance the overall customer experience.
Providing Clear and Useful Information
Beyond attracting customers, signage also serves the practical purpose of providing clear and useful information. Directional signs, store hours, product details, and promotional messages all help guide customers and improve their shopping experience. Clear signage reduces confusion and frustration, making it easier for customers to find what they need. Informative signs can also highlight special offers, new products, or upcoming events, keeping customers informed and engaged.
Cost-Effective Marketing Tool
Compared to other forms of advertising, signage is a cost-effective marketing tool that provides long-term benefits. Once installed, signs continue to promote the business 24/7 without recurring costs. This makes signage a valuable investment, offering continuous exposure and reinforcing marketing messages over time. Digital signs, in particular, offer flexibility and can be easily updated to reflect current promotions or new offerings, maximizing their effectiveness.
Enhancing Customer Experience and Loyalty
Signage contributes to a positive customer experience by creating a welcoming and organized environment. Way-finding signs, for example, help customers easily navigate the store, enhancing their overall shopping experience. Additionally, promotional signs that offer helpful information or highlight customer benefits can improve satisfaction and encourage repeat visits. A pleasant shopping experience fosters customer loyalty, turning first-time visitors into regular patrons.
Differentiating from Competitors
In a crowded market, standing out from competitors is essential. Unique and creative business  outdoor signs in Green Bay and Appleton, WI, can differentiate a business from its competitors, making it more memorable and appealing to potential customers. Custom signs that reflect the business's personality and values can create a distinctive image, setting the business apart and making it a preferred choice among consumers.
Signage is a vital component of a successful business marketing strategy. It enhances brand visibility, creates positive first impressions, drives foot traffic, provides essential information, and is a cost-effective marketing tool. By investing in high-quality, well-designed signage, businesses can attract more customers, improve their shopping experience, and drive growth and success.

Reasons For Garage Door Opener Repair in Green Bay and Appleton, WI
Planning becomes essential to ensure comfort and happiness in the twilight years. True, the burden of ding up the interiors is no longer necessary, with people trusting comfort more than aesthetics. Sure, one cannot do without the automobile either. Parking it inside the garage is essential as well. It thus makes sense to consider fitting one of those sturdy roll-up garage doors in Appleton and Neenah, WI, that requires little to no effort to operate.
Unfortunately, a first-time buyer will likely feel flabbergasted when accosted with numerous products. Being spoilt for choice is not always the best way to tackle the challenge. On the contrary, one must be well-decided before checking out the available products and deciding.
The points that one must decide on include the following attributes:
1. Door Size- Size does matter when it comes to securing the garage perfectly. It helps to have the dimensions handy before proceeding with the purchase. The technician would be able to guide the investor and help the person decide perfectly once the size is agreed upon
2. Styles- There are many styles of roll-up garage doors available at the moment. While selecting the right material and level of security, one may also opt for a heavy-duty or a sectional door. Customizing some of the features makes the garage door fit perfectly with the existing architecture. This improves the curb appeal of the property drastically
3. Materials- Garage doors may be constructed from almost every material used in buildings. While natural wood had been the best option previously, its constant wear & tear and degradation affecting durability have made it less popular today. There are many alternatives, though. One can always go with vinyl, aluminum steel, plastic, and composite wood. Steel is today's most oft-used material for roll-up doors because of its amazing strength and durability. All other materials come with specific pros and cons, too.
4. Insulation- Garage doors may come with or without insulation. It is advisable to opt for insulated doors to ensure energy efficiency and keep utility bills low. People opting for heavy steel doors may decide to purchase a thicker door that keeps the garage well insulated. This can be helpful when deciding to make a one-time buy.
5. Features- Apart from the door itself, it makes sense to note the features of a particular door model. The purpose of each feature must be evident, with the benefits being ensured. One must thus ask about the springs, tracks, keypads, openers, and nylon rollers before paying for the door.
6. Accessories- One may decide to buy a few accessories additionally. Windows, knobs, and keypads may be selected as per the need.
Almost all automatic garage doors come with a garage opener that enables the user to open and close the garage door effortlessly. Any signs of unusual noise during operation or the door getting stuck midway when ascending or descending necessitates immediate garage door opener repair in Green Bay and Appleton, WI.

Huggies, Kleenex maker to move 250 high-paying jobs from WI to Chicago GREEN BAY-APPLETON, Wis. — Fox Valley, Wisconsin community leaders are unhappy with the news that 250 high-paying jobs are leaving their town for Chicago. Kimberly-Clark, the makers of Huggies and Kleenex, has decided to relocate executive management, sales and marketing jobs to the windy city. The move comes despite millions in concessions granted to Kimberly-Clark in 2018, WLUK reported. Now, 250 people who work currently work out of this Kimberly-Clark facility in Fox Crossing have tough decisions to make about their futures. “It wouldn’t surprise me at all if some people say Neenah or Chicago, and they choose Neenah, because this is a great place to raise your kids, to bring your children up,” said Mayor Dean Kaufert. Mayor Kaufert said many of those affected likely live in Neenah and said he spoke with Kimberly-Clark officials shortly after the company announced the jobs were headed out of state. “It was nothing about the area, strictly a business move to create more efficiencies I’m told,” Mayor Kaufert said. Kimberly-Clark declined an interview request, but in an email said this move allows the company to capitalize on strengths in both markets and positions its business in North America for long-term, sustainable growth. The email also said all of Kimberly-Clark’s manufacturing sites in Wisconsin will remain and are unaffected by this change. In December 2018, the state and Kimberly-Clark struck a $28 million deal to keep its Fox Crossing manufacturing facility operating. In a statement, Wisconsin Economic Development Secretary CEO Missy Hughes wrote the state agency is “reviewing its contract with Kimberly-Clark to determine how this decision affects the company’s eligibility for job retention tax incentives.” “There is some consternation on my part saying, ‘boy we really went to bat for these guys, but I’m ok, I mean, what are you going to do?’ As long as they’re making the minimum requirements of that and they assure me they are, the mayor said. Top Things to Consider When Planning to Change Patio Doors in Appleton and De Pere
Whenever a home is built, new windows are set up to provide light and give homeowners a view of their adjacent property. They also add elegance and provide ventilation. In reality, most individuals do not give a lot of thought to them until they require a window replacement or they decide to set up all new ones to replace damaged or inefficient styles in older homes. The glass versions people use nowadays have only been obtainable for typical homeowners for the last two hundred years. Prior to that, only rulers or the very well-off could afford them. Middle and lower class homes had windows, but most did not have glass at all.
Early windows were bunged or covered with flaps of cloth or wooden shutters or animal hides when individuals wanted to shield themselves from the elements. Most of these coverings completely clogged-up the view until new alternatives were premeditated that held semi-transparent materials such as thin slices of horn.
The next time one purchases a New window in Fond Du Lac and Green Bay, one should take a moment to understand the fact that a window company makes it achievable for one’s family to take complete advantage of the advances they have made in construction and design.
The patio is one setting of the house that is very adaptable. It can be a place to unwind and relax after a hectic day's work; it can be a place to view the estate; it can be a place to have an energizing breakfast or even an afternoon cup of tea and it can also be an appealing nook of the house that has its unique purpose for the family. In some apartments where space is more of an extravagance, the additional space provided by patios is quite welcome. Certainly, since patios are precisely outside, one must have a quality patio door that connects the interior of the home to it. This is where patio doors come in.
It is now simpler to select the style for one’s door because homeowners now have more alternatives. In the past, most patios can do with any type of door. Some even consider that any door is good enough just as long as it opens and closes when one pleases. Evidently, if an individual wants the home to be in style then one also has to ensure that the patio door style one selects should not go against the home's general theme.
While folding, sliding, or standard push-pull doors are part of fashion, they are given much significant because they also have a lot to do with space. Folding and sliding patio doors in Appleton and De Pere are more favored since they can give the house more space. Deciding on the kind of opening for the door is based on one’s general inclination; be informed though that there are many alternatives to pick from.

6 Popular Outdoor Signs in Green Bay and Fond Du Lac, WI
Visitors often drop into stores on their way and buy many things that may not be essential. While some may call it a sheer waste of money, the business owner and/or sellers are elated to add to their profits. The concerned store must be identified by the prospective buyers and visitors first. Welcoming them into the store or showcasing the products only ensues after that. This makes it necessary to put up attractive outdoor signs in Green Bay and Fond du Lac, WI, that draw the attention of the passersby.
It suffices to know that an apt outdoor sign indicates professionalism that drags the buyers to the concerned shop. The signs are as diverse as the types of business products. Moreover, the location of the sign is all-important as well. These signs tend to cost a little more than pasting a sign on the window front of the store. However, they are also more effective and serve as local advertisements aimed at the individuals residing there. The seller would do well to check the following signs that happen to be most popular today and pick the right one:
1. Channel Letter Signs - These are 3-D letters that are customized to form the name of the brand or the shop. It is commonly used at the front of the store or its entrance, thus capturing instant attention. It is important to select the right shape and style of individual letters to create a sense of harmony without losing focus.
2. Monument Signs - This is a low-profile sign that is usually installed at the ground level. Previously used to identify a heritage or public building, the signs may be used to mark the entrance of a commercial building that houses multiple stores, too.
3. Pylon Signs - The sign is freestanding and is supported with poles on one or both sides. Often erected at a considerable height, the sign may contain two separate messages on either surface. This is most useful to grab the attention of people driving past.
4. Banner - This is the best way to announce an upcoming event or a new product introduced in the market. It may be installed on walls or at the crossroads to catch immediate attention. The user can reveal their creativity by playing with words and graphics alike. Its cost-effectiveness drives its popularity, with many users preferring to use banners in addition to other outdoor signage.
5. Awnings - Although not signage in the conventional sense, the awnings over store entrances and windows often double up as an area for the promotion of products. The retail store owners are happy to prevent advertising expenses without losing out on customers.
6. Wayfinding Signs - Stores that are located within giant supermarkets or shopping malls often install these signs to direct their customers to the right store. Such signs may also be put up within the shop to help the customers find their way around different sections.
Many companies hand out souvenirs at events to promote their brand. Custom shirt printing in Green Bay and Appleton, WI, is in demand for its unique advantage that enables the business to advertise its product on the go.

Four-wheel drive systems, most common in pickup trucks and SUVs, are excellent for driving in very deep snow and for off-roading. Once 4-wheel drive is activated, its low range allows the vehicle to drive up steep hills, over boulders, and through mud. If your route includes roads that aren’t plowed regularly, 4-wheel drive is a must.
A quick reminder: your drive system does not determine how well your vehicle will stop in slippery conditions. Traction is provided by your tires, and only a playing card-sized area is touching the road at any time. So, make sure you have winter tires in good condition. Their soft rubber compound grips better in cold weather. Look for the three-peak mountain and snowflake symbol molded into the tire’s sidewall.
Heated Side Mirrors
Being able to operate your vehicle safely is crucial, especially when you’re exploring unfamiliar territory. The key to safe operation is no surprise; it’s being able to see: in front of you, behind you, and next to you.
You may think that heated side mirrors would cool off too quickly during travel to do much good. But, the housing unit protects against wind and cold. Overall, they’re as effective as rear window defrosters/defoggers, allowing you to remove ice build-up without having to scrape, which can shift your side mirror’s sightlines.
Plus, they evaporate fog in an instant, making your early morning adventures dry, clear, and safe. Speaking of heated components, consider heated seats. Not only do they raise your body temperature when you need it most, they feel great on a sore back during the drive home from a long outdoor expedition. Oh, and a heated steering wheel can feel incredible, too.
Remote Vehicle Starting
Winter mornings can be brutally cold. Especially if your vehicle is exposed to the elements when parked. You can defrost your windows and warm up your vehicle from your home or the cabin, far before you venture out. Plus, after your outdoor fun, get things warmed up before you’ve left the woods.
Also, consider keyless entry, which comes in handy when you have a frozen armload of gear and food. Just walk up to the door and touch the sensor on the door instead of dropping your keys into the snow. Plus, many cars, trucks, and SUVs with keyless entry have pushbutton starting, so no more fishing for keys!
One more convenient loading feature: a hydraulic lift-gate (which slowly drops down in pickups and opens up in hatchbacks) and can be moved with only a finger.
Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control
The drive to your winter escape could be a long haul. And, you’re likely going to have someone with you: friend, spouse, kids. Traveling hundreds of miles while trying to agree on a comfortable interior temperature can be challenging.
Dual-zone automatic climate control is the ultimate peacemaker; giving the driver and front passenger the ability to fine-tune the temperature. Simply set it, and the system makes adjustments to keep everyone comfortable. While in “auto” mode, it keeps everything steady, so you’re decreasing adjustments and increasing safety.
Winter Windshield Wipers
Having to pull over during your trip to repeatedly knock icy messes off your wiper blades is inconvenient and a safety hazard. As their name states, winter wiper blades are built specifically for winter driving, preventing ice from building up on the blade holder. Now, ice and wet snow get lifted off the blade so it rides flat against the windshield.
Some of these special wipers do have a tendency to lift up at high speeds, which may not be an issue when driving in winter conditions. You just need to replace them after winter with summer-friendly blades because they may streak in rainy conditions.
Since we’re discussing being able to see clearly, think about automatic high beams. This feature automatically turns off your high beams for oncoming traffic, and then brings them back up after the car passes. This makes nighttime driving on back roads easier, which can be stressful due to winter driving conditions.
Ground Clearance
OK, ground clearance isn’t a feature that can be easily changed, but it’s something to consider when shopping for your winter-friendly vehicle. For most SUVs, the distance between the chassis and the driving surface is 8 inches, enough room to handle most snowfalls. With more ground clearance, you have added ability to dance over boulders, cross streams, and climb up steep pitches of dirt road.
However, with less ground clearance, let’s say 6.5 inches (still more than most cars and many minivans have), you need to carefully consider what you’ll be driving over. So, depending on your off-road needs, take the time to take some measurements.
Finding the right car, truck, or SUV for your winter outdoor adventures isn’t easy. In the end, it has to work for you, so do your research on vehicle makes, models, and features. We suggest discussing your winter trip needs with a reputable, ethical, and honest used car dealer.
Bring your needs—whether that’s off-road handling or special vehicle features—to a 199ride.com dealership: Green Bay Auto, Appleton Auto, Wausau Auto, Antigo Auto, and 199ride La Crosse.

Personal Vent: Senior care and support
Ahaha, my depression decided to bite me in the ass after a minor disagreement with my mom all of a sudden. Rant below the cut.
Ok so, for some background on this shit, I’m 20, my mom is pushing almost 60. We’ve lived with my grandma and grandpa literally since I was born. Partially not by choice. Mom moved back in with them long before I was born due to financial issues, and since I was born, we’ve had opportunity three or four times to just move and finally get a place of our own, but every time mom reached the financial stability to do so, either grandma or grandpas health would take a nose dive suddenly, so we had to stay and be caregivers, because well. Kinda obligated to.
Grandpa died 2 years ago come Saint Patricks Day, that for the most part I’ve gotten over...sort of. I just get by with the mentality we couldn’t have really done anything. No matter how high the quality of care he could have had going to a bigger city care center, he just wouldn’t have made it. His mind was sharp but his body and heart just gave out cause he was almost 84 and had heart disease and was on full time oxygen for years.
But now because of that, Mom and I are literally left alone to be my grandmothers primary care givers. She’s Independent for the most part? At least she’s always been mobile despite complaining regularly. (she’s the sort to think her pain is worse than absolutely anyone elses at times) But in recent years her mind has been starting to go out the bloody window. She hasn’t been officially diagnosed, but Mom, Pam, and I all agree she’s showing the signs of dementia. Some days are better than others for her, and we’re gradually learning some of the things that trigger worse days. Like if she has a day where there’s a lot of activity, the next day none of the upstairs wires really connect. She has what mom and I call ‘mumble days’. She forgets things easily, repetitively asks things, and occasionally zeros in on stupidly trivial things to worry over or pick at.
I have 4 remaining sets of aunts and uncles. The nearest set lives an hour away from us and both are working full time jobs yet, and the aunt of that set already is having to deal with her own parents of similar age, tipping the 80′s. She has a valid excuse as does that uncle because theyre so busy. Two sets live almost 3 hours away in the Green Bay area, one set is trying really hard to help mom and I, the other is starting to. The last set...yeah they never call and never visit. They are on my shit list. Moving on.
So what’s going on now is Grandma is set to have a knee replacement done on the 21st, and thankfully we’re shipping her off to my Uncle Tim’s for three weeks in Appleton, so we won’t have to bend over backwards over work schedules to ensure there’s a caretaker at home at all times. He’s the one that’s learning.
But thanks to this, Grandma’s mentality has been going off the handle with stress. We can tell she wants to get out of the surgery even though she finally agreed to it, but until the 21st comes, mom and have to deal with all this. She keeps forgetting what medications she can and can’t take.
Just....TLDR: I am getting so tired of being the only one expected to do bloody everything around here because I’m the only able bodied person left in the house. This is why I’m bloody going to counseling! This is why I am 70% sure I have a fucking inferiority complex. I never feel like I’m doing enough and I always feel like I’m expected to do everything or I’m the shit grandchild. And half the time ok I could deal with it but just- Grandma never fucking says thank you, she never actually ASKS. She always volunteers me for shit that I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be expected to do half the time, she always just says ‘oh Laura can do that! Oh Laura can do this! Are you going to do this? Oh Laura can take me!” I just. I’m getting so tired of mom and I being left on the racks constantly. Like, we’ve been talking with Pam (the good aunt) about getting Grandma a Life Alert, because well. She’s a fall risk because she never picks up her feet. But the bullshit thing is, we have LITTERALLY NO ONE In town we could put on it for a contact besides mom, who works an hour away from town, and me, who this summer will also be working an hour away from town, but would also probably have an immediate mental melt down if I was expected to handle a medical emergency alone just because of my anxiety.
Now I get it, I probably sound like an ungrateful brat at points in this, I may sound selfish, but Just. Growing up with the immediate responsibility of caring for an elderly person is not bloody easy, especially when one is a fucking helicopter. Mom and I can hardly have any peace or step foot out the house with out Grandma needing to know where we’re going. It’s always been that way but it’s gotten worse in recent years. She ALWAYS has to know where EVERYONE is. To put it in perspective she discovered Tim and his wife were going on a vacation to Florida, and didn’t tell her. She had a miniature fit and called them asking them when they were going, how long they would be there, when they would get back, all of that.
I’m just...I’m just tired.

AHT WISCONSIN WINDOWS
Do you need replacement windows? The short answer is probably yes.  You’re thinking “Now wait a minute, this guy owns a replacement window company! Of course, he’s going to say I need new windows.”  Yes, I do own a replacement window company, and yes, we’re always happy to help homeowners but not at the expense of people who don’t really need new windows.  My point is this: most homeowners would benefit from replacing some or all of their windows, and in this blog we’ll discuss why.
Improved Energy Efficiency – the number one reason homeowners replace windows is to improve energy efficiency.  Windows typically account for up to 50% of the home’s heating and cooling needs.
Conduction – Wisconsin winters can mean days stuck at below zero temperatures.  Your home probably feels the coldest right near your home’s windows. You might even feel a draft around your windows.  During the summer you might have your air conditioner cranked up but it’s still warm in your home. These situations are due to conduction (also referred to as convection), or the passage of heat or cold through surfaces, in this case, the glass or window frame
Air Infiltration – Another way air passes from outside to inside the home is through cracks or gaps in the window frames and/or sashes.  This is known as air infiltration which is usually due to:
Ease of operation and maintenance – This (particularly cleaning) is the second most frequent reason homeowners replace their windows.  Most newer windows either swing, slide or tilt in for easier cleaning meaning you no longer have to go outside to wash the exterior surfaces.
Security, sound, and other factors – Many older windows don’t have locks, and even if they do, they may not work very well.  This can pose major security concerns as well as safety issues. Windows today come with a variety of locking mechanisms, and additional security hardware can be added as needed.
Windows installed improperly
Sloppy framing, caulking, or weather stripping
Shrinkage of framing materials due to aging and weather conditions, particularly in wood and vinyl windows
The sun cracking and drying out glazing material (the putty holding the glass in the window)
Broken or cracked glass
Another reason homeowners replace old windows is excessive street or neighborhood noise.  New replacement windows reduce sound transmission.
If you want to work with a replacement window company that has been serving Wisconsin homeowners for more than 50 years, call AHT Wisconsin Windows at 888.874.9339. All of our windows are made in the USA and come with a 50- year warranty on the windows and workmanship.  We are a family-owned and operated business that serves Appleton, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, and the surrounding areas.
