This triptych is a favorite commission of mine from a while back. It’s ‘Autumn Trees Among the Wissahickon’. My clients had a particular wall in mind, and breaking it up with three canvases seemed like the best way to fill the space.

This project required that I construct a special easel out of 1”x2”s so that all three canvases could be side by side while I painted—affording me the ability to see exactly how each panel would match up with its neighbor. Three canvases, each 30” square, in acrylic. https://williamwhiting.com
