Nobara was Yuji's ray of hope in Shibuya. For a brief moment, she was the light at the end of the dark tunnel that Yuji fixated onto as he was in despair after Sukuna's rampage and Nanami's death.

"Thank you. You made me believe that I'm not alone."

When he needed someone the most, Kugisaki answered - the one person who could relate to the most.

No wonder he broke completely after he lost her too.

I know Ita-Fushi is a wonderful dynamic: but it always feels like Yuji unconsciously assures/protects Megumi in their interactions. With the Ita-Kugi dynamic: it feels like Yuji draws strength from Nobara as she is a reassuring force of nature with her personality.

Thinking about it: Gojo and Megumi gave Yuji a purpose in life. However, it was Nanami and Nobara that guided him into standing strong on his own two feet.

*I'm not saying any of his dynamics are better than others. All four of them played an interesting role in Yuji's character.

[SYNOPSIS] ˚⁀➷｡ suguru decides winter is your season, after all.

[NOTES] ˚⁀➷｡ this man has me tweaking so goddamn hard. you have no idea. lmao. suguru didn’t go crazy au, i used they/them pronouns for kirara. also y’all should lowkey listen to margaret by lana while reading this

“five minutes, everyone!” satoru’s voice echoes through the dimly-lit room, and you hear some people squeak and cheer.

your eyes flicker briefly to suguru, who’s standing right next to his best friend, and he catches you, eyes crinkling and a cherry blush on his face, probably thanks to the beer he drank as competition with the strongest sorcerer. satoru’s hand drapes around his neck, and he whispers something to him, enough for you not to hear from across the room, where you’re smoking your cigarette with shoko. you do, however, see the small punch your boyfriend gives the man, and chuckle, amused.

“mom, dad, let’s go!” the twins yell in unison, splitting, dragging you and suguru out by your arms, where everybody is.

yuta laughs as you’re pulled by him, almost stumbling over, and megumi and yuuji do too. nobara stands outside, waving her arms around in the air, next to maki, toge and panda, who’re doing just the same, firecrackers and fireworks in their hands.

the school is crowded, this year everyone — including the kyoto students and utahime — joined for new year’s. as you’re dragged outside, nanako’s grip slips from your arm, and her and mimiko leave you and suguru behind, opting to jump on the third years’ backs, and hakari and kirara abide without a word.

“i blame satoru for giving them so much energy.” suguru jokes and wraps an arm around your shoulders, beginning to walk forward. you laugh at him, because you think the same.

slowly, everyone gathers outside: shoko’s lighting another cigarette, nanami is fixing his tie while ino just stands next to him, freezing, after insisting his sheisty is enough to keep him warm, gojo’s pestering utahime and yuki is trying to calm choso after todo slipped a joke about itadori being his brother again. kusakabe’s exasperated as he sees panda and toge fool around with the soon-to-be explosions. yuta and maki are laughing, and nobara and the boys gathered next to nanako, mimiko and the third years.

miwa and kokichi stand somewhere, hand in hand, and momo gushes over them as kamo only sighs, and mai is absolutely resisting the urge to tease them. akari, like the big sister she is, is scolding arata for drinking beer, and ijichi, as always, is trying to calm her down.

suguru walks with you, a bit out front, holding you close. he thinks he couldn’t have had it any better — thank the heavens you were by his side through everything — when he looks at you like this, his heart swells with anticipation. you’re 27 and he is too. in a month, 28 will hit him in the guts. still, he can’t wait.

“two minutes!” yuuji exclaims, and everybody starts to gather closer together, you and the boy with plum blossoms in his eyes the only ones outside of the small brownian motion happening behind. the pink-haired first-year tries to run forward, but megumi, hakari and yuta grip him by his hood.

“don’t, just wait.” they all say in unison, and nanako, mimiko, tsumiki, nobara and maki exchange looks, brows quirked up. the twins slide from their senpais’ backs back down, and move closer to the rest of the group.

everyone’s together.

everyone’s happy.

the moments fly by easily. fireworks start to bloom in the sky. the temples of the school are covered in snow, but the ground has been cleared, thanks to the amazing boys who made your high school years feel like nothing short of the worlds longest rollercoaster.

“five!” noritoshi finally yells.

you looks at suguru with a loving look in your eyes. his bun’s a bit disheveled, but you don’t mind.

“four!” yuki says next.

a particularly beautiful explosion catches your attention, and the boy lets you slip from his hold to step forward.

“three!” todo announces.

suguru’s heart is about to burst, he looks at his two best friends: wide grins on their shameless faces.

his hand travels to his pocket, and he slides something out. music’s blaring in the background from the empty room from inside, but he can only hear the echo of his heartbeat in his ears.

“two!” the kyoto girls yell excitedly.

you’re still with your back to him. he gets down on his knee.

throughout the heavens and the earth, please, god, let him be the honored one.

“one!” the tokyo kids yell.

everybody gasps, and pyrotechnics burn in the sky.

the twins are crying in the background, silently — their mom and dad are getting married — and megumi holds mimiko so close he thinks the air might leave her lungs. tsumiki’s looking at you two with the sweetest smile. toge’s arm is slung tightly around nanako’s shoulder.

“mentaiko.”

“choke.” nanako says back with a small laugh, and the blond flicks her forehead.

panda pats her head, and lets out an amused chuckle.

kirara can’t believe what they’re seeing. they side-eye kinji, who just stands there looking smug, and next to him, yuta smiles, and thinks he might let rika out to see this too, because after all, she somehow liked you from the beginning.

yuki pats choso’s shoulder, the poor cursed womb is crying. nanami looks at his favorite senior, and shoko tries to blink back tears, but utahime knows better, so she hugs her. satoru’s tears are burning through his sclera, but his glasses are good enough to hide them.

you turn around, right when the clock strikes midnight. a big smile is on your face, and then your hands cover your mouth in shock and disbelief and everything that feels like the shoujo mangas suguru laughed at you for liking.

“suguru?” you sniffle, and feel a tear fall from your eye unexpectedly.

he matches you, and one falls on his face too. it drags down on his right side, contouring his chiseled face. when it reaches the jawline, it falls.

“i love you, sweetheart.”

his throat almost constricts, his spine is tingling, another ten tears fall from his eyes as you nod, your own washing down your cheeks. another ten years is all he wants with you, and many more if that’s not too much to ask for.

“marry me, y/n.” his words are heavy, full of love, they peel you open, and lick your soul.

“yes.”

another sniffle, and he gets up, and lifts you up in his embrace. he kisses you like he wasn’t by your side for the last decade.

shibuya in winter doesn’t compare to this.

everyone’s cheering in the background, and panda lights his fireworks too. now you hear mimiko’s and nanako’s happy cries, and kirara’s bowling their eyes out next to kinji — you truly babied them too much, but you’ll still never admit — and megumi and tsumiki look at each other tenderly, boy’s head rested over your daughter’s. two of the people that raised them are now in front of them, and it’s not as if they didn’t know you loved each other, they just can’t believe they were allowed to see this moment.

yuuji and nobara are holding onto each other for dear life as they’re whimpering, and maki and mai shoot each other a happy look. kamo’s eyes dart open, and miwa’s muffling her sobs, her boyfriend right besides her, pinching her cheeks. momo feels her heart clench with so much happiness, and looks to the side, seeing utahime get all teary-eyed. todo’s clutching his necklace.

“finally…” satoru sighs, and nanami punches his shoulder, a ghost of a tear disappearing on the back of his hand.

suguru’s arm hooks under the back of your knees, and he turns around, with you in his hold, bridal style. teenage smiles on your faces: your hand is stretched out front, pink morganite and aquamarine shining in the moonlight.

“happy new year, everyone!” your fiancé cheers, and throws you in the air, above. a flash — shoko’s ancient polariod camera, and everyone comes rushing forward.

A/n:nobara is baaaaackkkk!!! I made this to celebrate its fluff to angst to fluff. I know I should probably wait for the vote to end but it's at like 98% yes and I wanted to release this before the new chapter

"Do you wanna get married someday?"

Your sudden question made nobara almost choke on the Boba tea she was sipping on

"Where is this coming from?"

"I dunno it just popped into my mind, you look beautiful right now, the sunlight reflecting on you,your hair, everything really. When I looked at you my brain just said:I want this woman to be my wife one day"

"That's so cheesy, have you been reading romance novels or something?"

"I didn't hear a no~"

Nobara giggled before answering

"If you really wanna know then yes, you're the person I want to spend the rest of my life with"

"Great! Imagine how beautiful our wedding will be, I promise I'll buy you the most gorgeous dress I can find so that I can brag about how breathtaking my wife looks in it"

"OK I'm totally sold now, Imagine how jealous all of the girls will be, and then when they ask me where I got it I can say "oh my spouse got it for me, aren't they awesome" OK when are you proposing to me?"

Now, it was your turn to giggle at her enthusiasm

"Well we're too young now plus I don't have a ring, but I can do this, put your hands on the table"

"Hm? Why?"

"Just do it, it'll be fun"

"*sighs* alright"

As Nobara put her cup of Boba on the table and did as you instructed you put your own hands over hers

"Nobara kugisaki, do you hereby promise to say yes whenever y/n l/n will ask you the question "will you marry me?"

After a moment of confusion the brown haired girl burst out laughing

"What are we middle schoolers? This is so dumb"

"Just promise, you already told me you wanna marry me so what's the problem?"

Nobara sighed and looked at you with a smile, despite how she acted towards your antics it was one of the many reasons why she loved you

"Alright,alright, I promise I will say yes"

"Yay we're officially almost engaged now"

"This is so stupid.....but it's nice I guess. Knowing I'll marry you one day makes me happy.....I love you"

"Love you too"

You two got closer to each other and kissed passionately before pulling back and just staring into each other's eyes with nothing but love and adoration. You looked into your girlfriend's beautiful brown eyes...

One of which was now missing.

This wasn't supposed to happen, no, this should not have happened. You could have prevented this. You could have warned her earlier. You could have moved her out of the way. You could have killed mahito earlier. You should have done something. But no matter your regrets, mahito still touched her, she was still a body on the floor with a pool of blood around her right eye.

You knew it was selfish of you to stay by her side while Yuji and Todo fought the disaster curse, but you just couldn't do it. Her last words were still fresh in your mind a cliche declaration of her love for you, why did she say that? Why did she still love you even after you couldn't protect her? It would have been easier for you to hear that she hated you

You couldn't bring yourself to believe what Arata said, that there might still be a chance that nobara was still alive, because if you clinged onto that hope and it turned out to be false, you would be back at the deepest pit of despair.

You just stayed there crying near her body mumbling apologies

You didn't even have time to mourn her when you came back from shibuya as you got immediately dragged into the culling games. No one recognized you anymore, after nobara's death, you became cold aggressive with the only objective of slaughtering every curse you saw, that was already your job but seeing the girl you loved get killed by the most sadistic and human hating curse you ever saw fueled your hate for them even more.

This was it, the final battle with sukuna, after unsealing gojo and training for the battle it all seemed to lead to this moment, you prayed that nobara was watching over you and prepared for the battle.

You saw sorcerers fall one by one against the king of curses, gojo,kashimo,higuruma, choso, it eventually was your turn to face him with yuji, your fight lasted for long with people like todo, Hana and even yuta who had taken gojo's body coming to help you but eventually it was down to you two against the strongest sorcerer in history.

After yuji opened his domain, you started to deal blows to sukuna in hopes of destroying hollow wicker basket, and to your surprise, megumi actually started to fight back against the sorcerer who had stolen his body, yuji must have finally got through to him, you were about to land another punch when......

Sukuna winced in pain, but no one had touched him, that pain, that way of attack, you would have recognized it anywhere: it was voodoo.

'T-that's nobara's technique'

Your thoughts were interrupted by yuji landing the biggest black flash you ever saw that resulted in him coming out of megumi's body

It was over. Sukuna was defeated and while you were glad it ended like this, you still couldn't celebrate, you were too lost in your own thoughts.

'The only person who can copy cursed techniques is yuta and he can't do that anymore........was that.....really nobara?'

Yuji noticed your your expression and started talking to you

"I saw that too, that was nobara"

"B-but she's dead, you saw what mahito did to her!"

"Remember what Nitta said, he healed her so there's still a chance"

".........do you think she still loves me?"

"Uh?"

"I failed to protect her and after she died I did nothing but stand her crying I didn't even try to avenge her like you"

"......I think she would slap you if she heard you talking like this. Of course she still does have you forgotten her last words?"

"........we still don't know if she's alive for sure, let's go"

You were still lost in your thoughts as you walked back to jujutsu high, you went to the infirmary for shoko to heal you, but after she did she told you to wait there. You wondered why but deep down you knew.

Shoko came back with a person walking behind her, her short brown hair making it obvious who it was, even with one eye missing and a eyepatch in its place you could still recognize that loving smile she was looking at you with

"Hey, it's been a while hasn't it?"

You immediately tackled her into a hug as she wrapped her arms around you, nobara felt tears stain her shirt but she couldn't care less

"I-i *sniff* I thought you died, I thought *sobs* I was never gonna see you again"

"It's alright now, I'm here and I'll never leave you again, I promise"

You continued crying into your your girlfriend's chest as she comforted you. When you calmed down, you looked at her smiling face, her one eye staring at you with the look you longed to receive for so long

"You look so beautiful"

"Even with the eyepatch?"

"Especially with the eyepatch, it makes you look even more badass"

"Eh, thanks I'm glad you think so"

After a bit of silence you spoke up again

"I'm sorry"

"Hm? For what?"

"For not protecting you, and not avenging you, I didn't do anything but watch while you "died" I'm really sorry"

"Please don't say that, anyone would feel like that seeing their lover die, hell I would have probably done the same, you were in pain and I forgive you....you don't need to apologize"

You released a breath you didn't know you were holding and looked back at nobara with a wide smile

"I'm glad you're here, I don't know what I would have done if you stayed dead"

"Don't think about that, I'm alive now and that's what matters"

You two pressed your lips into each other, it was the first kiss you had in months and it was amazing. All of the love nobara wanted to give you, all of the love you missed out on was there, you forgot her kisses felt this good or maybe it was the fact that she was alive making it better but no matter what it was the kiss was the best you ever had

"Thank you......for being alive"

Epilogue:

"So why did you call me?"

You watched as your girlfriend walked into the living room of your shared home in Tokyo, nobara didn't want to return to the countryside so after becoming professional sorcerers you brought a house to live in together.

"I have something very special for you"

"Oh really? What Is it?"

You smiled and immediately got on one knee pulling out a small box and opening it to reveal a beautiful ring

"Nobara kugisaki,I love you, losing you was the worst thing that ever happened to me, it felt like a piece of me was missing when I thought you died, I never want to feel like that again, I want to be with you forever so will you marry me?"

Nobara looked at you with her mouth wide open before her look of shock quickly turned into a smile

"I already promised I'd say yes didn't I?"

"You remember that stupid promise?"

"Of course, I've been waiting for you to propose to me ever since, yes I will marry you"

You smiled brightly and put the ring on her finger bonding you two forever before kissing her passionately

"Do you wanna start planning the wedding right away"

"Geez you're so impatient, but I wouldn't mind after all, you're the person I want to spend forever with, I will never leave you again"

"......thank you"

kyoto kids don't often gather in full for some kind of movie on a projector in the living room (but they love such cozy evenings): 

wrapped in plaids on the floor, mai usually puts momo's head on her lap. her cool hands remove scrunchies and gently massage the scalp, and then comb the long strands with a wooden comb. mai snorts with satisfaction when she hears momo's sarcastic comments about what is happening on the screen 

noritoshi is sitting relaxed on the sofa. glasses have slipped down on the tip of his nose. he is dozing, pressed on both sides, like a source of heat, favored by impudent cats. kasumi sleeps with nose buried in his collarbone, her arms wrapped around his waist like a koala hugging bamboo, and kokichi has shaggy head on his shoulder, fingers lazily playing with scrunchie on noritoshi's wrist. noritoshi doesn't mind, he even likes to feel the weight of their bodies on him (i like this ot3 rareship) 

arata in a large yellow hoodie comfortably sitting with his feet in a corner armchair. he periodically glanced at the vibrating phone and sighed (his sister sent him a lot of voice messages, but he doesn't have headphones with him to listen them) 

todo was sitting in a bag chair with a moisturizing mask on his face, it was unusual to see him so calm and relaxed, and he managed to eat cucumber circles with chamomile tea before anyone sees (i have hc that todo believed in the relaxing power of spa evenings. he knows about face masks that takada-chan uses, and drinks chamomile tea of the same brand (at one of the fan-meetings, takada-chan slowly dictated names of cosmetics so that girls standing in front of todo had time to write them down) i find it funny)

----- Summary ----

The Tokyo and Kyoto have a team-up mission regarding an infenstion of cursed spirits in huge village. The mission has been completed and both schools are taking a break. Daichi and Rioto meet up and hang out together until they came across a missing one. What will happened?

"So Rioto. How are you doing at Kyoto High?" Daichi asked.

"Um....Kyoto is alright. Utahime-sensei is nice and but a little strict. So is the principal, Gakuhanji is something. I had to prove myself why I want to become a sorcerer. So I did and told me that I should stick to being a first-year to catch up and help other years."

"Did you make any friends?"

"Well...uh...there's Kamo and Miwa. They're just classmates but they were nice. The rest...are uh....getting used to it." Rioto sighed.

"That's good!" Daichi

"Not really? I mean Kamo feels bad for me and so is Miwa. The rest don't like but they like Miryu." Rioto mentions his cursed companion, Miryu. A blue seahorse with a unicorn horn and two antlers. Similar to Eito, he also look plush-like and flies with tiny flappers similar to seahorse. He blows bubbles while saying 'Buu...' and 'Muuu."

Both Miryu and Eito are playing as they are flying above the two sorcerers. No doubt, his classmates like Miryu.

"So what happened?"

"Well...."

"Everyone." Utahime introduced Rioto to the class, "This is our new student....Syougo Shin-"

"I am Rioto Kirin!" Rioto said his name. "I prefer if you all call me by that name!" He said firmly surprising the class and startled Utahime. "And this is my trusting partner, Miryu!"

A seahorse floats by Rioto's side.

"Muu..." Miryu introduces himself, blowing bubbles from its nose as he is swimming around the class. The girls in the class, Miwa, Momo and Mai find it cute. The boys are intrigued.

"It's nice to meet you, Rioto. My name is Noritoshi Kamo." He said with a respectful nod. "This is Mechamaru, Arata Nitta, Todo Aoi. You must be the new first-year."

That I am, yes." Rioto nods.

"What's up with horns?" Arata asked, pointing at his ice horns that look like antlers. Not to mention, the fur around his collar of his uniform.

"This is for daily battle!"

"Daily Battle?" Arata sweat dropped.

"So you must be the one who brought a village almost to a ice age ." Mai said. "I'm surprised a curse user is allow to attend our school."

Kamo sighs a little, hearing that. Mai has no filter. But he is surprised to hear Rioto's response.

"Correction. My issue is with the few people of the village before my deserving defeat at the hands of Great Daichi Pheon-X. My goal is fight Daichi Pheon-X. That said, I am here to owe a great debt to him and work to pay it off to make it up for my wrong choices by contributing in Kyoto High and to help jujutsu society in general." Rioto says.

"Daichi Pheon-X? The sorcerer who streams online?" Kamo asked.

"The guy with that little bird of his?" Mechamura asked.

"Looks dumb." Momo said. But the bird is cute.

"I hear he's attending Tokyo school." Said Miwa. Rioto nods, "Correct. The Great Daichi told me that Jujutsu High is a good place to meet others who wishes to understand jujutsu sorcery and curses along with other things. That said, I hope we get to along well."

"Doesn't sound bad." Daichi said. Rioto sighs, "Yes....errr..."

----

During lunch time where Kamo explains the classes to him, Todo got in his way.

"Hey! What kind of girls do you like?"

Rioto blinks. "What?"

"Todo...please." Kamo sighs, knowing where this is going.

"I asked if you have a type." Todo asked. "What kind of type is your woman? Answer me!"

"Uh....well..." Rioto looks unsure of this, looking dumbfound a bit.

"It can be boys too." Todo said. Kamo begins, "Rioto...you don't have to..."

"If you're talking about romance....then...then.." Rioto begins. Kamo held his breath, hoping Rioto has a good answer.

"Then I have no interest in that kind of thing! Something like that does not interest me at all!" Rioto said with utmost confidence which made Kamo gasp and sweat dropped. Oh no...

Then Rioto hears a sniffle and is staring wide as Todo cries. Making Rioto blinked, "Wait...why are you cryin-" The ice sorcerer got whiplash by a clothesline. "You! A coward!" Then he picks up Rioto and does German duplex, Rioto quickly breaks the fall using ice making Todo slip. Rioto got out of his hold and does a flip, not before taking his asthma pump.

"What do you think you're doing?! If you wish to fight, I will be glad to take your challenge!!"

"You don't think about women?! Not only, you're not interested in women and men?! What kind of man are you?!" Todo yelled. "What kind of answer was that?!"

"Why does that matter?!" Rioto yelled.

"I'm going to beat the crap out of you and I hope you change your answer!"

"BRING IT!" Rioto summons his ice golems. Kamo yells in a panic, "Not inside the school!"

Little does Rioto know, he has been brutally defeated thanks to Todo's Boogie Woogie technique. Kamo had to take him to the nurse's office for his injuries.

"Then I got beat up by the third year, Todo Ali The Oni!" Rioto tightens his fists as he is upset.

"Uhh...because of your answer on what kind of woman is your type?" Daichi blinked. Rioto sighs and nods, "And he keeps bothering me till I change my answer. To be honest, I don't know what woman or man is my type because I never think of it so I try to come up with a excuse."

"You could of been just honest?"

"So I get beat?!" Rioto exclaimed. "No way! I make sure to avoid him at all costs! I even try to pay Mai to get him out of the way!" He sighed. "I even ask Miwa to hide me from him!" He sighed.

"Well...at least you have friends!" Daichi pats him on the back. But as they walk together, passing a warehouse. They felt a prescence. A cursed one.

Both look at each other and enter inside without hesitation. They missed a cursed spirit and on their way to exorcise it. Not thinking this spirit is almost above their grade.

"Where are we?" Rioto asked as the room changes. Daichi gulps, "I read something about this. Where we are is in innate domain?"

"Huh?! Wait...if that's it! Then that means..."

"We're dealing with 1st grade or a special grade!" Daichi frowns which makes Rioto spooked a little. Both Miryu and Eitio can sense their concerns so they stay close to their partners. "Okay, Rioto. You and me gotta be careful until we found the cursed spirit."

"So what kind of cursed spirit would make this?"

The place is full of edges and stairs. It's like an labrinyth. Regardless, they kept going and going. Going. Going. Going. Still going.

"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" Rioto yelled, stomping on the ground as ice freezes the part of the ground. Daichi sighs. They have been walking, climbing the stairs and everything. They keep on moving but nothing in sight. Daichi thinks as he sits down on a stair. Maybe the cursed spirit is smart and tries to exhaust them by having them walk anywhere in its domain. They passed rooms because Daichi doesn't think it's good idea to enter in one of them so sooner or later, they have to confront this spirit.

Then both heard a chuckle. "You will never find me. You two are just bait!" A voice crackles. Two immediately became on guard as they brings out their preceptive elements. Daichi with his flame sword and Rioto with his icy lance. Miryu and Eito remain close to the duo. More laughter is heard.

"You two have no idea what you're dealing with! Can't believe one of you is with the vessels that held King of Curses and the other one that calls itself Kinie Ger."

Daichi widens his eyes. Wait..what?

"My master would be pleased."

Master? Daichi narrows his eyes. "Who are you?"

"The name is Tsumi! Your enemy and I found you two the most ridiculous bunch! You two make the perfect bait. I will lead those sorcerers here and kill them until I get to face off those two cursed spirits! Who knows! Maybe I can get that girl that hold Kinie Ger. She seems fun."

Daichi scowls hearing this. Yeah...no way in hell. He won't let anyone hurt his friends. "Where are you?"

"Patience. If you wish to jump to your death, go up!" Tsumi chuckled. Daichi takes a breath and looks to Rioto. Rioto nods. "Wherever you go, I will go with you, my great rival!" He grins. Daichi smiles. Both went up. To see a door and enters. Inside is a arena where a skinny male with a youthful look. He has green slick-back hair and swishes his long tail.

"Here we are!" Tsumi laughs as he brings out his claws. He jumps down, "So you two must be Rioto and Daichi! Two idiots over their heads. For I am Tsumi! A cursed spirit who is smarter than any human."

Rioto and Daichi just stared.

"Listen here, you foul curse! We will prevail!" Rioto points as he strikes. pose. Daichi chuckles and does it too. Tsumi sneers, "Let's see what you got!"

The battle begins.

----- Somewhere ------

"Hmmm..." Megumi sips his drink, making a face as he is eating his soba noodles. Nobara and Yuji noticed this. "You okay, Fushiguro?" Yuji asked, eating his noodles. Taz is eating her grilled eel over rice, hearing this with a curious look.

"Not sure. Just a feeling." He said. "A feeling where things go wrong." He said.

"I mean we exorcise all the cursed spirits in the area." Nobara said. Megumi grumbles a bit, "True. But...there's something else." A face came to his mind.

"Where's Daichi?" He asked.

"He's hanging out with Rioto." Taz answered. "That's what he told me." She answered. Megumi hears this and sighs, "I just hope those two don't run into trouble."

"Oh come on, what would the worst thing can happened?" Nobara said.

"Wow! So these are the Great Daichi and Rioto! You two with dumbest titles I ever heard of is on their knees. What makes you think you two can defeat me?!" Tsumi laughs. Daichi and Rioto are on their knees, panting. Right now, they felt disoriented whenever Tsumi keeps on moving.

Daichi tries to figure out his cursed technique. Is it dizziness, messing with the senses. Tsumi chuckles, "You see, my technique is Distortion. I mess sense of direction and spin the room around." He laughs.

So that's it. Daichi looks to Eito and whispers to him. Then Eito whispers to Miryu. Miryu whispers to Rioto. He widens his eyes and look at Daichi to whom he nods. Both are slowly standing up and hold their hands together. Tsumi laughs seeing this.

"What? Are you going to confess to each other? Well..I can't blame you. You two are going to die anyway!" Tsumi laugh and activates his distortion.

"Not quite!" Daichi said as both unleashes their curse technique. Flames and a blizzard. With them both holding hands, they go to dance as they go in a circle. Shooting out powerful flames and blizzard, this got Tsumi blink as he backs off. Soon, they turn into a spiral of the dual elements. Weathering the arena to where it becomes weak. Tsumi screams as he felt the burns of both fire and ice. Tsumi unwittingly turns off his technique. Tsumi got blasted by fire and was impaled by a ice shard. Tsumi stumbles and staggers. Then he widens to see Tsumi blink his eyes, both sorcerers of fire and ice jump in the air, throwing their respective attacks.

Fire in a form of a Pheonix. And a blizzard attack in form of a Kirin. Both hit Tsumi and send him flying and he was crashed against the wall. The domain begins to fall apart.

"Have you two lost your minds?!" Said the cursed spirit as he can't believe this. Tsumi can't believe these two will cause so much damage. The scaly figure had to take steps back from them with fear now. These human children. ARE NOT NORMAL!

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Rioto and Daichi laughed together insanely as they combine their attacks together. Calling it their combo attack, "Dual Elemental Blast!" They both said as they fire off their attack of their presceptive elements, fire and ice.

KABOOM!

An explosion is heard in the distance. Megumi and Kamo look at the huge smoke coming off from their positions. What the???

--- Minutes later ----

Under the rubble, Daichi and Rioto got out as they are breathing heavily. Their companions, Eito and Buu were getting them out of the rubble. The sorcerers have won.

"We survived!" Rioto exclaimed with a grin.

"That was crazy." Said Daichi, dusting his hair off from the debris. As both Chunibyo sorcerers got out of the rubble and dust themselves, a crash is heard making them turn around. The warehouse is now half in rubble.

Both look at each other. How are they're going to explain this?

"Uh...so...how are we going to tell this to them?" Rioto asked.

"Well...let's just say we fought a strong cursed spirit with a domain! Knowing them, they pretty much understand!"

"Right! If I tell Kamo, he will understand! Kamo is always understanding!" Rioto smiled. Daichi blinks, "Kamo?"

"Yes! He's the first I trust!. " He said as Miryu is blows a bubble and gives a 'buy'. Eito chirps in understanding.

"Anyway! I'm going to go to Kamo for help and tell him what happened! I think he's nearby!" Said Rioto. Daichi nods. "Right!"

Daichi lets out a sign as Eito chirps. "I know, right! I think me and Rioto did a pretty good job. Now...we need to explain this! As long as we get our straight, we will be fine!"

Little did they know, the explosion is heard from others. And they're going to deal with a very angry Fushiguro very soon.

First Years! (or First Year, rather. Since Arata's the only one in the year)

Arata Nitta -Hmmm. Tricky. Since we only saw him in a few panels. But I really think this guy's down for karaoke night. -He might not be a good singer, but he wouldn't hesitate to sing a few songs. -He would dance along with the music. Though he wouldn't move around like our bebe Toge. Arata would bob his head, do a side-step, move his body side to side. -Totally down to sing a song with Miwa. Song recommendation: The Scientist by Coldplay

Second Years!

Mai Zenin -This girl treats karaoke night like it's a sister school event. Like, sis, calm down. It's just a fun karaoke night. Except if Gojo decides to include a singing competition in the individual category, then go ham. -She's competitive because she knows she can sing well. Must be in the Zenin blood, idk. -Even though the scoring system in the karaoke machines are shit, she still wants to hit that 100. -No, she doesn't want to duet. Let her sing the song alone if you want to live. -Though she's generous enough to lend a hand if anyone doesn't want to finish their song or if they get frustrated with the way they sing hehe Song recommendation: It's All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion (oh lol)

Kokichi Muta -I really think this dude has a thing for musicals. Idk. I can feel it it my jellies. -He's like a frustrated theatre kid whose playlist consists of songs from Hedwig and the Angry Inch to Hadestown. -Wouldn't be a surprise to see him try to find a musical song in the song books. -And the only thing he could find is Lady Marmalade. "Nope. Not that!" Though Todo would totally bug him to sing it 😂 -Todo would give him Bohemian Rhapsody. "Come on, it's like a song from a musical!" -Kokichi begrudgingly sings it with everyone. He still loves and enjoy it. Song recommendation: Come Alive from The Greatest Showman

Miwa Kasumi -Miwa best girl 🥺 -Anyway, Miwa is hyped whenever karaoke night comes. -She doesn't have a great voice, but she could carry a tune. -She already creates a list of songs she wants to sing on her phone. -She'd love to sing a duet with anyone! She'd sing Sweet Child O' Mine with Todo and Complicated with Momo. If it's a karaoke night with the Tokyo students, she'd duet with anyone. -She'd dance around if she's not singing. She's the Inumaki counterpart of Kyoto. -She'd also dance with Toge and Yuuji. Song recommendation: Party In The U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus (in which she changes the USA to any place they're in)

Third Years!

Noritoshi Kamo -This guy's the quiet type who sits on his corner with his drink and enjoys watching everyone. -He'd take videos and photos of what's happening. -He avoids singing as much as possible, saying that he's already good watching and listening to them. -And for some reason they don't give him songs. Except for one person. Song recommendation: The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script

Todo Aoi -This dude loves karaoke nights. -This dude would sing like he's serenading a whole stadium even though he has an average singing voice. -He'd also sing love songs like he's singing for Takada-chan. -Todo loves duets. He'd duet with anyone. From Miwa to his besto friendo, Yuuji. -Dude got the moves 😎 making Miwa and Toge his backup dancers. Song recommendation: Livin' la Vida Loca by Ricky Martin

Momo Nishimiya -She doesn't show it but she likes karaoke nights. -Like Miwa, she's already listing songs in her head. -Her singing voice isn't far from her speaking voice. She sounds so cute when she sings 🥺 -Momo will stand in front of everyone when she sings. -She'll also dance while singing. -She loves singing upbeat songs. And she'll be singing Don't Stop Believin' with anyone who wants to sing with her. -She'd be banging her head whenever Bohemian Rhapsody plays. -She is that one person who could make Noritoshi sing. But she can only manage to give him one song for the whole night. Song recommendation: Wannabe by Spice Girls

The new episode is just peak. Absolute peak. It blew me away. The animation. The voice acting. The music. THE VOICE ACTING.

I just can't. There are no words. This is perfect. Absolutely perfect. It stole the #1 spot in my list of top JJK episodes.

Next is the heart wrenching scene of Yuji's breakdown.

The animation, the drawing, and the voice acting. Just perfectly horrible. I wish I could give Yuji a hug.

Now, the entire beatdown scene by Mahito. Honestly, I couldn't stomach watching it. The sound effects and the VA are destroying me already. The show made the entire so much harder to stomach through. It was sickening and infuriating. It elevated the manga panels to a horrific level.

Which is why when you hear the clap and the music cue playing:

It rightly feels like a superhero entry.

I can gush forever about the lighting here - how bright it was with a hint of gold. Todo coming in dispels the darkness away. The entire sequence just screams hope.

HAHAHAhahahaha.... The changes in the OP. Sigh...

I cannot get over the lighting here. So beautiful especially how, from Yuji's PoV, it shines the brightest from where Todo is. It's just so bright as if it the midday sun is right there - just look how contrasting the two sides are!

What destroyed me here was the delivery of Yuji's line. The pitiful whimpering small voice saying "I cannot forgive myself anymore." I had to pause watching here because that was gut wrenching.

Junya has just been perfect at portraying Yuji. However, this was peak.

Now, here are undeniable proof of how much love and effort had been poured for Todo here.

Just the details on the lines and the shadows! And then this gem.

I can't explain why but I absolutely love this part. It's so good.

The direction of this episode is just so so good especially the original content added. I just don't know what else to say. Just LOOK:

The staff had elevated the manga panels so much.

All Kyoto kids call Utahime Mom, everyone pronounces the address with a different intonation (last one was Noritoshi, he said it suddenly and quietly, which did not escape Yori's sensitive hearing)

Todo knows how to weave braids. Once he braided Kasumi's long hair into fishnet braids (popular in 2014). What if he had a free head for hairdressing experiments in the person of Yuki Tsukumo, I think it's funny enough

Arata loves hedgehogs, he throws videos with them to Nobara, even more often than some memes understandable only to him (Kugisaki with a satisfied smile pokes his finger at the phone screen in front of Megumi's face and says look, it's you when Yuuji is not around! But here when Yuuji is in your field of vision! Yuuji : Did someone call me?

Noritoshi likes to look at street cats. Kokichi calls Kasumi a Goddess with katana who does not believe in herself, but he believes in her, her caring hands and her bold ideas (Noritoshi shares this faith with him)

Arata turns to her for advice when she doesn't want to bother her big sister for nothing

Nishimiya plays the cello and she and Noritoshi play joint improvisations of cello and piano when there is time and mood

Mai sings well, just likes to be harmful at every opportunity when she is asked to sing something Noritoshi sneezes softly like a kitten (I've only heard twice in my life that people could sneeze like that, hehe it's an awesome sound)

Arata got Todo into dating sim games on behalf of a fem character Todo: Toxic bastard and you pretended to be a decent guy too! Arata: Are you already going through episode X? Nishimiya and Mai *look questioningly at Todo and look at Arata* Todo*nods and turns to the character of the game*: How many such bastards around you! But nothing, he won't do anything to us!
