Uichin Queen Wonsam (Head of the Kyungwoon Museum) and the exhibit - Five daughters of Uichin King.
(Google translation) Won Sam-yun wore the color and gold-coloured graves according to the identity of the late Joseon Palace woman and the first lady of the late Joseonson Palace. This green ginseng was made from the raw ginseng worn by the queen of Uichin.
The road and the sleeves were made of yellow-coloured drunken candy, the yellow-colored part at the end of the sleeve was made of red and yellow, and the ginseng made of the red-coloured raw rice.
I took a picture of Subokhwamun ,Fukuoka Geumbak on my shoulders and Doryeon, and I took a picture with Suja Kanji Geumbak in Hansam.Photo. Soonchun Hwangguibi Um (front row left) and Queen Kim (front row right), taken around 1904-07*Euihwa-gun Wedding Ceremony 화 City Wonsam University
This is Wonsamdae where the fire gate is photographed.
It is believed that the pilgrimage was made at that time referring to the pilgrimage of the U.S. army in 1893.

Wonsam
Tumblr media
A ceremonial topcoat worn by women in Korea. It originated in China and was worn by queens, high-ranking court ladies, and royalty during the Joseon dynasty of Korea. The color and decorations of the garment around the chest, shoulders and back represent the wearer’s rank. For example, the color yellow was used for empresses, red for queens, magenta for concubines and princess consorts, and green for princesses and the noble class.

Hwarot
Tumblr media
An elaborately embroidered long robe with long and wide sleeves to cover the wearer’s hands. It was worn during the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties by royal women for ceremonial occasions and later by commoners for weddings. Before commoners wore hwarots, they wore wonsam due to the steep cost of a hwarot.

i found you from that one mai and zuko comic art thing and im frothing at the mouth from the raw talent and dedication ur art excludes. im going to thru ur entire catalogue and put up a lantern to thank the wayward god who chanced me to stumble on your page. i love your art very much!
also what kind of clothing did u reference for mai and zuko? :D
oh thank you! i am happy you like it so much.
uhm... i don't have a specific image or images to show as reference though. idk i can't do much with just photos. because i than don't know if it is a three layer peace. how do they wrap it? what's destinctive.
good start for clothing sources for atla charakters is @atlaculture blog. anyway... an akward description with some really rough links below!
thank you for the compliment dear anon!
Mai's canonical clothing is a bijia and i sticked with it in this design. mainly because i have a hard time imagin her in anything else. she looks great in it! source source
Zuko on the other hand... Younger him wears robes loosley inspired by Hanbok. though (and i had to google that! because i only vaguely remembered the second part of the name because i get kinda the right result with writing 'children hanbok') maybe better term is Kkachi Durumagi before somone complains... Ursa's wedding dress is inspired by a Wonsam, so bite me! ... this is also maybe my best and only opportunety that i switched the fire nation charakters on his clothes.like... the sybol of fire should be first and not below the other one. wow... switching around charakters like the chaotic dyslexic i am. who would have thought source
no links for older zuko because that is... that is just free form. like... not to downplay it. we all know what a kimono is. and they are preaty and really elegant. but what zuko wars here is like... you have a soft thing fabric that has kinda the shape but could also be a hanfu but... it is elaborated and painted the most expensive extra way. i think i just trew canon and realety out of the window just so i can draw tiny airgliders on it.
