“It’s finally here!!” Jay’s voice rang through the house and he appeared on the top of the stairs, skipping three at a time until he reached the bottom in a matter of three seconds. “What’s finally here?” you asked, your head peeking out from another room. 

“The hoodie I ordered” he replied while opening the front door and greeting the delivery man brightly, surprising the man. Jay penned down his signature and with an energetic “thank you”, slammed the door right in the poor man’s face.

“Jay!!” you cried, glaring at your exuberant boyfriend for his hasty actions. Ignoring your disapproving stares, he sat on the nearest chair and opened it with his bare hands in record time. The plastic wrapped hoodie made Jay more excited than he already was. “What’s so special about this hoodie anyway?”

Your boyfriend looked up at you with shining eyes. “This is a limited edition hoodie and it- “ “Okay, I get it...go and try it on” you cut him off, a strange glint in your eyes. He frowned at the way you were eyeing the fabric in his hands before realization hit him.

“Nope..don’t even think of stealing this hoodie..this is the only hoodie you are forbidden to wear” he warned. eyes large. He pulls the still wrapped package to his chest, clenching it. “We’ll see about this but do try it on, the color looks good” you say, choosing to ignore his words and proceeding to pull him up, the box falling down as Jay stumbles a bit before looking down at you, a wary look in his eyes.

Getting impatient, you push him to the nearest room and closing the doors behind him. “Hurry up!! I want to see and admire my stunning boyfriend looking even more stunning in a new limited edition hoodie” you lovingly say out loud. You can here him scoff from inside and murmuring about something which you couldn’t make out.

It’s been a few minutes and the shuffling you could here previously was also not to be heard. It was unusually quite which was uncharacteristic of your boyfriend. “Jay..? you knock on the door, pressing your ear to it in hopes to hear something. “Is everything okay, babe?”

“Yeah..just a little problem” you hear him, hesitation in his voice. “I’m coming in” you announce, ignoring his protests, you open the door and barge in when you stop in your tracks as your eyes land on him, standing in the middle of the room looking all lost.

“When you said you had a ‘little problem’ you really meant it” you manage to speak out without laughing. He could see that you were getting red in the fce from trying your absolute best to maintain your composure. “he rolls his eyes, sighing. “Go on..you can laugh” 

As soon as he gave the green light, you don’t hesitate a bit and burst in to laughter at the sight of your adorable boyfriend looking more adorable in a hoodie a few sizes too small for him.  “It’s not fitting!!”, he huffs like a kid. “I can see why... at least the color looks amazing on you” you couldn’t hide your smile. “This is what you get for refusing to share your hoodies with me”

“Yeah, yeah..laugh all you want. Laugh at your boyfriend’s misery” he says, taking the hoodie off and putting his shirt back on. He glares at the piece of fabric as if it was its fault for not being the correct size. You walk towards where the hoodie was lying and pick it up, checking it closely. “At least, I have a hoodie now” you cry out, dashing out of the room with it before Jay could lunge at you and stop you from running away.

You run to your room, locking it before taking your top off and slipping on the hoodie. You give a cheer as it fits you and walk out, a smug smile on your face as you jump in front of Jay, hugging yourself and enjoying the soft material around you. “Stop rubbing salt to my wounds” he pouts, looking the other way. 

He was still salty over it and you were having fun teasing him. Taking his face in your hands, you turn his face to make him look at you. “How do I look?” you ask, smiling up at him. He huffs and ignores you, focusing on the wall which looked much more interesting. He had no intentions of telling you how adorable you looked in the hoodie that was supposed to be for him. Nope. But he didn’t need to. The redness creeping up his neck and painting his ears and cheeks were enough as well as the temperature we seemed to increase. He also wasn’t planning to tell you how his heart skipped a few beats at the sight of you looking at him lovingly. Nope. At least not yet.

“Jaaaayyy...” you call out for his attention in a sing song manner, hands still on his warm cheeks. He looks down at you, your voice breaking his demeanor. “His hands reach to cover yours. “Nuh uh..I’m not going to tell you how cute you look in this and I’m definitely not going to admit how I want to cuddle you right now” he shakes his head. You giggle at your boyfriend’s behavior and stubbornness and press a quick kiss to his lips, surprising him.

He stares at you and you hold his gaze, not breaking it. Then suddenly, out of the blue, he lifts you up making you shriek with laughter as he drops you on a nearby couch before attacking you with tickles. “That’s my revenge for taking my hoodie” he cries, laughing alongside you before stopping in order to avoid getting kicked in the face by you. He leans down and kisses the tip of your nose making you scrunch your nose, smiling.
