Thanks to your positive responses to last year’s event, we’re going to have another Worfriker Secret Santa gift exchange! This is a small event to celebrate fellow creators and fans of the pairing Worf/Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

On Christmas Day, each participant will gift a fanwork to another and receive a gift in return. Your gift can be any type of fanwork, be it fanfiction, art, graphics, photography, gif sets, moodboards, videos, playlists, recipes, anything! The only requirements are a) it must be created for this exchange and b) it must focus on Worfriker.

You must have a tumblr account and/or an AO3 account.

Fill out this sign up form with your personal wishlist.

If desired, you have the possibility to list things you do not want to create or receive as a gift.

You will receive a message from me by November 25th, letting you know who your giftee is.

If you are unsure about your giftee’s wishlist or just want to say hello, feel free to anonymously message them! always remember, a secret santa’s whole thing is to only reveal your name on Christmas Day!

Feel free to combine different types of fanwork for your gift, for example a moodboard that comes with a playlist, or a recipe that is included in a little ficlet — anything goes!

Finish your fanwork before December 25th…

…and post it to your blog and/or the AO3 collection on Christmas Day, tag your giftee and this blog so I can reblog it ♡

Examples for wishlists could be “something warm and fluffy” or “coffeeshop AU + Worf with long hair as a first choice, alternatively something angsty” or “domestic vibes including Alexander” or “first three choices: first kiss, romantic smut, holodeck malfunction” or “poetry” etc.

If you want something specific, please give your secret santa several options to choose from, as seen above. However based on experience, it is better to keep your wishes more general and abstract.

Just because this is a “secret santa” event doesn’t mean the work has to be holiday/Christmas themed. Consideration of Worf’s Jewish upbringing is encouraged.

Receiving and/or creating 18+ content is only allowed for participants who are over the age of 18!

When creating your wishlist, please do not ask for specific forms of fanwork i.e. “I want a gif set”. not everybody has the recources to do every type of fanwork + this is a low level event with probably only a little number of participants, so if your wishlist is too specific it will be hard for me to find you a secret santa.

You receive your secret santa mission details by November 25th.

If you cannot complete your gift in time, please message your giftee ANONYMOUSLY to inform them they’ll receive their gift a little bit later. This is common courtesy.

If you cannot complete your gift AT ALL, please back out before December 17th so that I have enough time to find a replacement or pinch-hitter.

And finally: gifts dropping on December 25th!

There is no upper or lower limit on your Secret Santa creation. Just make sure that it is the best you can do with the time you have and that you create something you think will make your giftee happy!

Please keep in mind: While I included a pinch-hitter option in the sign up form, there is no 100% guarantee that everyone will receive their gift on Christmas Day. Sometimes real life just happens, especially in these times, so please have patience with your secret santa!
